Hp Laserjet Cp1025 nw color won't connect to my laptop wirelessly

I have had my Hp Laserjet cp1025 nw for less then a year and we moved to a new place and since we have moved i have not been able to get my printer to connect wirelessly. I have to send whatever I am printing to my phone and then eprint it which is a pain.  The wireless light just keeps blinking and I have installed and uninstalled the program for it multiple times. I am a student and have a ton of things that I have to print off so I need to get this fixed asap

Here is your support page.

Read everything, Getting Started and the manuals are here too.  Once the wireless light is on solid you should be good to go.
Student?  This is YOUR router that you have control over right?

  • My iPod Touch won't connect to my laptop

I've had my iPod touch for a year and it won't connect to my laptop for about 3 to 4 months now. I think its the new generation? iOS 8. I've done everything almost. I uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it and I made sure my laptop had all of its stuff done except for the Window 8.1 update which it won't update and on my ipod it keeps saying to back up iCloud and that hasn't been backed up for 8 weeks or something like that. I don't know how to back it up btw. I don't know if it's my iPod because when I buy songs on my iPod it's on iTunes on my laptop for me to press the cloud icon. Please help me! I don't know what else to do and I'm too scared to reset my iPod. I'm gonna go to Apple store soon and ask them but I don't know if they can help with that so someone please comment back on this.

  • Ipad 2 won't connect to MY laptop - help

My ipad 2 won't connect to my laptop properly. It used to work fine, I haven't done it in a while (5 months). It charges with usb charger.
When i plug it in, Windows 7 plays the little tune indicating something is connected (tada!), but nothing show up in "My Computer" or itunes. On device manager it shows that something is plugged in to the usb port and there is some exchanged of power. Nothing changes on the ipad (does not display "not charging" at the top right)
When I plug it in to another laptop, it works fine. Other things I plug into my laptop work the way they should. So it's a problem with my computer and the ipad.
On apple support, I have followed all the troubleshooting steps for problems with connecting ipad to itunes. (nothing worked) I've also updated itunes, updated my ipad, reset my ipad and restarted my computer and various other trivial things.

  • My new iPod Touch (4th gen) Won't Connect To My Home Wireless Network

    Hi Out There,
I just recieved my new iPod Touch yesterday, inputed my SSID (Network Name), security type WPA2 and password key and It won't connect. Can anyone tell me if I have to do anything else like fill in all the other fields like IP address, mac address, subnet mask, default gateway or anything else like that or should it have connected with the info i provide as I feel this is the sufficient enough information for it to connect but as far as those other fields that I've mentioned does it auto-fill in those other fields when after it connects? Cannot get on.
    Thanks for your responses

Finally figured it out and Apple doesn't even mention this in their article. I did what some other guy did. I took the Touch's physical address or (Mac address as they often refer to it and put the mac address of the Touch in my router's mac address filter list and "Bang" the internet came right on. Problem solved.

  • My ipad wi-fi won't connect with my home wireless network

I've had this ipad for a week. it was working fine. today i used it at Starbucks and it conencted fine. Now I'm at home and it won't connect back to my network. I've tried to re-set the network - didn't work. turned wi-fi off and on -- didn't work. it's showing my bars and says I'm connected, but I can't get into safari or any apps.
    Help!

Try powering off your router fro 30 seconds and restarting it before you attempt to connect.
Also check to see if your router has the latest manufacturer's firmware level.
Provide details on what router make/model you have and how it is configured (security type, DHCP or static IP, MAC address filtering, etc.). You probably are not getting a valid local network IP address from your router. To check on this open up the WiFi connection details by touching the ">" to the right of your network name in Settings > WiFi. Report what you see for the fields listed. If the IP address starts with 169 then your router is not supplying an IP address. Without this you will not be able to access the internet.

  • My Ipod Touch 5th Generation won't connect to my laptop.  My phone however will. What can I do?

My Ipod touch and phone will both charge when plugged into the wall.  My phone an iphone 4th generation will connect to my laptop.  I have uninstalled and installed itunes as well as checking the Apple USB Drive and neither has helped.  Not sure if it matters but my computer was recently updated to Windows 8.1.  Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do?  Thanks.

    Does it charge?
What model iPhone and iOS connects?
    Do you have iTunes 12?
If you are not using the same cable as the phone try another cable.
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

  • Brand new ipod/itouch 4th generation won't connect to available hm wireless

I have a new 4th generation ipod touch. I also have a new computer using windows 7. I have set up the computer and wireless is working great. I have set up and synched the ipod to itunes without problems however, I cannot connect to my home wireless network. I have done the network reset. There is no option to "forget this network" that comes up when I click the arrow. I cannot access the support document that you provide in other links because it says it is "damaged". I have my wireless network password protected but my itouch will not accept the password. I know the password I am entering is correct because I used it to join my new computer to wireless and that worked fine. I have tried about 20 times to enter the password so I know that it is correct and it will not join. Please help.

I've looked at those documents...that's how I knew to try all of those other fixes.
It is a linksys. That should not be an issue...as I said, it works fine with my brand new Asus Windows 7 computer.
    A few things:
If you have read the Apple documents why did you say, "I cannot access the support document that you provide in other links because it says it is 'damaged'."? Also, who is you ?
Testing the iPod Touch WiFi on another network will give you a baseline as to whether the WiFi in your iPod Touch is working at all. If it doesn't work on other networks then it may need service/replacement.
What model Linksys router do you have? What kind of security are you using WEP, WPA, WPA2? How is it configured? (see my previous post for what's relevant). Is it 802.11g?, 802.11n? Do you have the latest router firmware?
Note also that just because one device seems to work OK on a WiFi network doesn't prove that the network is golden. Not all devices use the same features of the Wireless 802.11g/n protocols. Low-power devices are different than desktop computers.
Have you tried testing with security turned off? (This check is suggested in the Apple documents).

  • Airport Express won't connect to my local wireless

I have a Fios modem connected to a Belkin wireless router. My G5 is connected directly, and I use the wireless for iMac and laptop. Works fine.
I have an Airport Express. I can't get it to successfully connect to the network so I can broadcast iTunes to remote speakers. I can run Airport set up utility from the laptop and it goes through the whole thing- finally telling me "Congratulations, you're now ready to play music, etc. ". However, when I try to connect to the external speakers, which now show up in my iTunes, I get an error saying Can't Connect or "Cant read configuation", something like that. It's very frustrating. When I try to set up from the iMac, I don't get that far. I get to "wait while the AX restarts, but it never does and I finally get the "can't read configuation" message. Any suggestions?

It may be that the latest firmware update is version 6.3 for your hardware. You can find that at apple support here:
    http://support.apple.com/downloads/AirPortExpress_Firmware_Update_6_3_for_Mac_OSX
That is a fairly old one, the newest updates in the 7.4 range update the extreme and express together. That one may just be for 802.11n hardware.

  • HP LASERJET P110w won't connect to my new wireless laptop

Hi, I have my printer hooked up to my desktop hp via usb cable. I recently got a new Lenovo laptop and want to hook up the printer using wireless connection peer to peer. I downloaded the printer driver to my laptop but when I try to print it says "Printer in error state". I am using windows 8.1 os. Do I need to unplug the printer and reinstall or can the printer be connected by wireless and usb to 2 different computers?
    Thank you for helping,
    Chip

    Hello chiparoo,
I see that you're trying to connect your Laserjet P1102w to your new Windows 8.1 laptop. I will try to help you with this.
To start by answering your question: you should be able to have the printer connected USB to one computer and wireless to another and have everything working fine.
When you get the message "printer in error state", is that while trying to install on 8.1 or is that when trying to print from your desktop?
This document: Installing the Printer on a Wireless Network, may help you with the wireless setup and installation of the printer. It should help guide you through the steps required to complete this task, and have the printer up and running on your wireless network.
I hope that's able to help you out and get everything running correctly. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

  • Hp LaserJet M1217 nfw MFP won't allow me to setup wireless...

I am trying to setup a newly purchased, refurbished hp LaserJet M1217 nfw MFP so that I can print wirelessly, but it isn't giving me the option to do it.  I started the process trying to follow the directions on a Windows 8 (hiss!!!) machine.  The computer recognized that the printer (or something) was plugged in, but didn't start up automatically and I had to insert the CD into the drive to start the setup.  When I chose the option to configure for a new wireless network, the software told me to connect the printer to the computer....but it was already connected.  I chalked it up to Windows 8 being the devil and installed the printer on my wife's computer, still running Windows 7.  I ran downstairs to grab the rest of the documentation after starting the configuration process and when I got back, the thing was installed....but only on my wife's computer.  I can't figure out how to get the printer to be accessible wirelessly from other computers and am hoping to get more help.  I tried using the CD to configure the printer, but got the same message regarding connecting the printer when it was already connected.  Any help would make me hate this printer less and possibly not send it back to get another Epson printer (Which took almost no time to set up for wireless and was perfect....until my wife broke it).  Thanks a lot...
    OGDEN

Just as an add on:  Does this thing even have functionality as a scanner?  While it makes copies (I tried it out), if it can just be used as a scanner, there is no documentation and nowhere that I can find on the computer to use such a function.  What a terrible product.  No information available.  Doesn't appear to be all that useful.  On a scale of 1 to 10, I'm giving it a -3.65 right now.  Someone from HP better get a reply of some sort to me soon or the thing goes back in the box and Epson gets the money instead...

Thanks for your response Dean!  There is no 'screen' on our printer so I'm a bit perplexed how to do what you have suggested.  On top of the printer, left hand side there are button's for:
    Power
    Cancel
    Scan {USB only}
    Copy Settings x 2 buttons
    Black
    Colour
    Wireless
Basically all we need to know is how to reconnect the Wireless to the new router.  The HP Software is working fine with the Ethernet connected MAC & we have no problems printing directly from that.  Once the printer is connected to the new router the other devices will be able to see it & connect.
    Thanks!

  • Time Capsule won't connect to a Linksys wireless network

I made the same mistake as everyone else with 7.3.1. The main problem I had was that after the update the TC wouldn't connect to my wireless network anymore. I put in the network name and password, which worked with version 7.3, and it wouldn't connect as an 'extend network' option.
I've rolled back to version 7.3 and now I'm having the same problem. I can't make it join my existing wireless network...? Any ideas? This thing's been nothing but problems since I bought it. Now I'm reading that TC's can't be used to join existing networks if it's not an Apple base station. I use a Linksys WRT54GS and I know that's not true because it worked before.
Help?! I'm on the edge with this one!

At first I had the same problem with being unable to connect a time capsule using airport utility 5.3.1 to a linksys wrt54g. I was finally able to when I followed the software's recommendation to use the encryption type: *WPA2 PERSONAL*.
So I connected an ethernet cable from my MacBook to the Linksys and changed the type of encryption from wep to wpa 2 personal and then I reset the Time Capsule and reinstalled/reconfigured it with the general setting "WPA / WPA2 Personal" in the encryption area.
Now it is working as a part of the linksys network, but I have not yet been successful at using it to "extend" the network like it should, and like I was told it could by a sales rep at the Apple Store. I'll be calling customer support tomorrow to solve this issue.
I hadn't configured the linksys in a while, so in case you don't know off the top of your head as I did not, to do so:
    1. connect the cable to the linksys and use your browser to go http://192.168.1.1
    (unless you changed this).
    2. just type "admin" in the password field (unless you changed this)
    3. go to the "wireless" tab, and then finally the "wireless" sub-tab.
    4. after choosing the WPA2 Personal encryption type, I left the other settings alone: "AES" as the type of " WPA Algorithms", and "3600 seconds" for the "Group Key Renewal"
(if you changed the login settings on the linksys there's a reset button on the back)
    Hope this helps...
