HP Laserjet CP2025

Since installing Snow Leopard on my MacBook Pro, I'm unable to print anything in colour with the HP2025. Any news when a driver will be available please or is there anything else I can do?

There are several reasons that your printer will not print in color. If any color toner is "out" it will switch to MPACCO- Mono Printing at Color Cartridge Out. If you print a supplies page, it will tell you if any supply is out, and if it is capable of printing in color, the bar graphs for wach color will be in the correct color.
It may just be coincident with your upgrade.

I just purchased an HP Color LaserJet CP2025 for my computer running Windows 7, 64 bit as an OS. The driver disk does not include that OS and the Driver Support page does not specify which driver to use in order to take full advantage of the automatic two sided color printing capability. Any help out there?

I just bought a refurbished Dell Optiplex 755 32 bit with Windows 7. I have a hp color laserjet CP2025. The icon appears in devices & printers window as unspecified, category unknown yet the model no. appears correctly as CP2025. It has a USB connection that loads a driver automatically. I can't print a test page etc. After I powered the system up initally I was able to print a test page but after 200 or so updates I can't do anything with the printer.

HP Color LaserJet CP2025 is listed as Offline

Our HP Color LaserJet CP2025 was bought in the middle of November, 2011 and has been working fine since then. I set it up with a static IP address and no one has had troubles connecting or printing until yesterday. All of a sudden the printer is listed as offline for everyone. A reboot of the printer will sometimes allow it to print one job and then go back to offline. Any time it is attached via USB, it works like a charm. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver/printer, I've updated the firmware, I've ran the HP Print Diagnostic Utility and it says that everything is fine, I've plugged it into different switches and none of them work. I'm lost and out of ideas. Any help?
I'm currently running Vista Ultimate 64bit but it has shown up as offline on all the XP and 7 computers as well.

I figured it out. I set a static IP on the printer but didn't reserve the IP for it on my DHCP server so someone else had take the address. As soon as I changed the IP it worked great.

HP Color LaserJet CP2025 Printer - Vertical Yellow Band printing on every page

For the last several weeks whenever I print from my HP Color LaserJet CP2025 Printer the pages print with a vertical yellow band on the right hand side of each page. I checked the supplies status and it says each ink cartridge has plenty of ink left so I'm at a loss as to what could be causing this yellow band. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the printer's hardware (inside roller perhaps)?
Any insight would be most appreciated.

Connecting to HP Laserjet CP2025 under 10.6

I attempted to set up my brand new HP Laserjet CP2025 to my wife's iMac and my MacBook Pro. The results were the same in both cases. The printer would never successfully connect and would report the host as busy.
Being that I am using a network connection, I tried creating a print que for the device running as an IP printer. This failed. I deleted the print que and tried again, using Bonjour. Success!

says that this printer only supports manual duplex. Is that what you're referring to? If so, you can use the "print odd page" and "print even pages" functionality to emulate this.

HP color laserjet CP2025 will not print. Help.

I have a HP color laserjet CP2025, but it will not print. I installed the driver HP Color LaserJet CP2020 Series PCL 6. I have a Windows Vista Home Premium. There is a message to replace the cyan cartridge, but I assume if the printer has black ink, then it'll print in black and white. Do I need to replace the cyan cartiridge for it to print? What other options can I try to troubleshoot?

Could be a lot of reasons. First try to print a supplies status page- If that prints with color on it, you have a driver problem.

Laserjet CP2025 share issue (64-bit drivers from Windows Server 2003 32-bit).

We are migrating our Desktops from XP 32-bit to Windows 7 64-Bit and I'm trying to update all of our printer drivers on our Print Server (Windows server 2003 32 Bit).
I am adding the new drivers by opening up each printers properties on the print server, going to Sharing and then add new driver and directing it to the relevant folder for the 64-bit drivers for the printer.
Every printer (HP, Panasonic, Brother) has worked so far, except for the HP Laserjet CP2025. The Net Express installer doesn't work. Nor do the Universal Printing Drivers (PLC 6). Does anyone know a way around this?

Color LaserJet CP2025

I have an HP Color LaserJet CP2025 printer. The Status of the printer is "No Toner/Ink". However, I have replaced low ink toner. I still continue to receive this message. Unfortunately, I'm not able to print either. I'm guessing because of the Status message.
Furthermore, I printed a Supplies Status Page. Each catridge is at 50% or higher.

The driver is useless on Windows 7. HP has failed with this one. That aside, I found in my case I could go into the printer's properties and create a new port. I'm using my HP2025 over the network so I created a new standard TCP/IP port with the printer's IP address. As soon as I hit apply it started printing. This redirects the printer from the flawed UPD port to a real IP "port"
HP really should put more effort into their UPD design on Windows 7. I can't say enough about how horrible it is.

Printouts too dark on Laserjet CP2025, HP Basic Color Match tool crashes.

I recently purchased an HP Color LaserJet CP2025, but my prints are coming out extremely dark causing me to have to use extreme brightness/contrast increases when printing pictures.
I tried using the HP Basic Color Match tool hoping it would address the issue, but ever time I get to the color match choice option the program crashes.
I'm using 32-bit WinXP Pro.

Can I bypass color printing on HP Color LaserJet CP2025

We have purchased a new wireless HP LaserJet Pro 400 printer to replace the Color LaserJet CP2025. However we still have one new toner cartridge from a double package of black toner for the 2025. I want to continue using the 2025 until I use up all the toner but it is flashing that I have to replace the magenta cartridge and won't print. Is there a way to bypass color printing on this printer and have a function just as a black ink printer until I use up my remaining toner?

Go thru the menus. I think under the print quality menu there is a setting for supplies where you can have the printer continue to print when the cartridge is empty. Just change the setting and the printer will continue to print even if all the color toners are empty. For your information there are always about 100-200 pages left when the printer says the toner is empty.

Laserjet CP2025 - Full Bleed Printing?

Hello,
I'm wondering if the color laserjet CP2025 can handle full bleed printing. I'm creating letterhead in InDesign and setting it for full bleed and it previews to the edge of the page, yet every time I print, I have a white border. I thought the printer could handle it but now I'm not so sure. Anyone know for sure if it can/can't?

No - the CP2025 does not offer full bleed (edge to edge) printing.

HP Color LAserjet CP2025

I have a HP Color LaserJet CP2025 that randomly re-calibrates itself. I have update the firmware, tried redownloading and installing the drivers, it doesnt have any extra RAM in it so thats not the problem(will be putting some in there to see if that helps). Was wondering if anyone had a guess???

All HP printers will perform regular maintenance as the printer feels is necessary. Normally there are 2 criterea for maintenance and calibration, time and number of jobs. As your printer exceeds these quotas it will trigger the appropriate maintenance to keep the printer alive and accurate. You would have to give us more information to help us identify if what you are asking about is normal behavior or not. For example, how often does it occur or after how many jobs?

Can't print double-sided on my HP printer (laserjet CP2025)

I have owned an HP laptop and printer (color laserjet CP 2025) for about one year. When I purchased the printer it said that the printer was not compatible with Windows 7 - I did not know this before i purchased the printer. I had to reset my computer recently and now do not have the ability to print double-sided. The printer works but I cannot print double-sided unless I manually insert the pages. I had the ability to print double-sided before I reset the computer. HELP! this is the most frustrating experience and I am hesitant to purchase another HP product because OF THIS BAD EXPERIENCE. When under warranty I was able to contact HP and received information on how to get the printer to be fully functional, I can't do that now. Does anyone know how to get this function working? Please help.

For the cp2025, if you have the duplex model (has d in the model name) then this document will help you re-set the printer when using the Unversial Print Driver. Make sure you read the document all the way through and pay sepecial attention to the notes as they explain the process in relation to this product. Please check it out...
