HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M602 driver issue

Hello,
I've got issue with 600-series printers. We use the latest UPD drivrer ver. 61.175.1.18849 and print from XenApp 6.5. The error occurs every time when users try to print jpg files from XenApp session. It only happens with 600 series printers and UPD.
Also I've tried to assign native 600-series driver ver. 6.3.9600.16384 and it works good. But with that driver system says that it's color printer and it brokes our printing reports. These reports are very important for us. So we can't use printer and that driver as well.
Printer installed on Windows Server 2012 R2. All clients are Windows 7 x64. XenApp Servers are Server 2008R2.
Is it possible to get fixed UPD driver or correct native driver for Server 2012 R2?

  • No Printer Resolution Options for hp LaserJet Enterprise 600 M601

    Running under Mac OS 10.6.8, we've run into a problem printing separations to our new hp LaserJet Enterprise 600 m601 printer from Illustrator CS4, CS5 and CS6.
    In the printer dialog box, once under the "Output" section, with the mode set to either "Separations" or "In-RIP Separations", there are no options listed in the "Printer Resolution" drop-down.
    I've tried re-installing the driver, changing the resolution settings in the printer itself, using a generic PS driver, and contacting hp directly (their solution was to contact Adobe). I have yet to contact Adobe itself, but none of my other attempts netted a different result.
    In the document ink listing, the Frequency and Angle listings are still editable, but needs to be done manually for every colour, and the dot shape options are non-existant.
    We had previously been using a hp LaserJet 2300n, but we were running into insufficient memory issues on an increasingly frequently basis. The driver for the 2300n had several different sets of Printer Resolution settings, so once the new printer was set up, I *assumed* that it would have the same kind of options.
    I have discovered that if I change my PPD from the proper driver (HP LaserJet 600 M601 M602 M603) to the old one (Hp LaserJet 2300) I am then able to select the resolution I want from the drop-down list, switch the PPD back to the proper one for the M601, and it seems to work (leaving the 2300 as the PPD file results in a warning and a failed print attempt).
    I also tried printing something from a non-Adobe program using the M601, and there were two options available for printer quality (resolution?) settings.
    Any thoughts?

    Re instakll the printers driver first remove the printer from the printer list.

  • HP Laser Jet 600 m602 printing issues

    Device: laserjet 600 m602
    Issue: error submitting print jobs through print server or directly.
    Printer can be normally pinged and managed through web UI.
    However last event log entry is dated April 30 with error codes 49.2F.E3 and 49.2F.51.
    Since then I have managed to upgrade firmware to latest however nothing changed.
    Print job sumbitted directly from web UI reports success while nothing gets printed while printing normally generates error printing status in the job queue. Any help greatly appreciated.

  • LaserJet 600 M603 - Driver Issue Win7

    Trying to install Universal Print Driver PCL6 on 32 bit Windows 7 and we're given an error.
    "Windows can't find the driver for HP..."
    We click Ok then we get another window below:
    It points to the UPD folder installed on the computer. We click ok and get "Cannot connect to the printer."
    We've downloaded the driver from HP website, HP LJ 600 M603xh. The printer is being set up as a network printer.

  • Hp LaserJet 4350 windows 7 driver issue

    The driver installed from windows update (3.18.2008, I think--hpc43506.gpd?) seems to have a problem. I tried printing to two separate 4350 printers. I ended up installing a pcl5 universal print driver from the HP site. I was wondering if this is a known issue? Is it just me?

  • I have a hp laserjet 600 m602 that will print 8 1/2 by 11 prints at 50 ppm when I change to custom

    I have a laserjet 600 m602 when I change it to custom it prints so slow its going backwards is there any way around this
    the paper is 8 1/2 by 10 1/2  actually shorter why does it take longer

  • Enterprise 600 m602n IPX/SPX Configuration

    Good Day All
    My organization recently purchased a number of hp laserjet enterprise 600 m602n printers to replace an ageing fleet of 4000 series printers attached to external jetdirect cards. The printers being replaced recieve jobs by both TCP/IP IPv4 and IPX/SPX. Page 62 of the m602n user manual says IPX/SPX is a other supported network protocol. Page 147 says "The HP Embedded Web Server does not support IPX-based product connections." My problem is if it is a supported network protocol how do I configure it? I see nothing in the Web Server which is to be expected from the verbage on page 147, but I also see no means to do so going through the front menu controls or via TELNET. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    According to HP Business Support the notation that it is a support network protocol in the user manual is a misprint. It does not support IPX/SPX directly.

  • HP LaserJet 600 M602 printer goes offline every night

    Hi,
    I have a HP LaserJet 600 M602 CE991A printer on a wired network. I have quite a few other printers on the network as well and do not show me this kind of behavior.
    But for some reason, this printer, from as soon as I bought it, goes offline every time from around 5.20-5.30pm to around 8.30pm. I have a ping tester running as I am trying to figure out what's going on and I got 100% drop every night for that time period.
    I looked to see if there was a setting that puts this device to sleep or so but no, I cant find anything. I have tried with the energy setting sleep mode on or off, wake up events to trigger a wake up call to the printer but no luck.

    I am out of options, in our other locations, we have sam printer but a CE993A models and they do not show this kind of behavior at all.

    I see by your post that you aren't able to print when the laptop isn't in the same area as the printer. I would like to help you out today.
    What is the distance of the printer and the Laptop when the printer goes offline?
    Try these steps to see if it will resolve the issue.

    What operating system are you using? How to Find the Windows Edition and Version on Your Computer.

  • LaserJet 600 M602 very slow between each documents

    Hi,
    Our Laserjet 600 M602 printer is very slow to print between each documents.  (around 30 seconds).  Same problem with osx 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 and 10.9.
    Can someone help me?

  • HP LJ 600 M602 printer hard drive pass word reset

    How to reset a lost password for a HP LJ 600 M602 printer. The Solid State hard drive failed and it is asking for a password in the admin menu. I did not set a password on this printer or hard drive.

  • HP LJ 600 M602 uses paper from other tray

    I have a problem with a new HP LJ 600 M602 printer.
    I think it's best to discribe an example of the problem.
    For example i start a printjob of 1000 pages from tray 1 which holds 500 sheets. Now it should just say tray 1 is empty when it hits the 500 pages printed but it wil automatically continue to print from tray 2. This should not be happening since i turned off the option "Use other tray" on the printer it's self and the web interface. It is also turned off in the printer settings on the computer in word that is used for the printing.
    The actual configuration of the printer is:
    Tray 1: Manual
    Tray 2: blank paper
    Tray 3: paper with corporate logo1
    Tray 4: paper with corporate logo2
    And all have the option "use other tray" turned off.
    Could this be a driver problem or am i missing a setting somewhere?

    I have the above printer and recently purchased , after installtion this printer , i am not getting proper speed from this printer , as per manual it will print 55 pages /minulte , i am giving bulk printing , it is printing around 15 to 20 pages only , it is taking more time for spooling.

  • LaserJet Enterprise 500 color Printer M551 walk up usb printing

    We have a few  LaserJet Enterprise 500 color Printer M551 that we use with walk up usb printing.
    the problem is that somtimes when a document is saved directly on the usb drive you get two files called "documentname.pdf" and "._documentname.pdf", now the hidden file is normaly a few kb in size and no problem exept it shows up as the first documents on the printer and this makes the printer spew out random characters,
    is there a way to make the printer not show hidden files?

  • HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 551dn - where did the drivers go?

    I go to the download page to download the drivers for this 551dn.  I download all windows 7, 8, 8.1, 2008, 2012, so that i can put them on my print server.  I downloaded them from here..

    I get the file downloaded (LJEnt-color-M551-Drv-no-installer_12297.exe), i run it, get the security warning and Run.  the file extracts - then POOF, the installer is gone.
    where did the files go?  They aren't on the root of the C: drive, a folder/files were not created on my desktop, no files or folder created in my downloads folder.
    I was never asked for a file save location.... ???  really?   is this this basic stuff? 
    Where are the files?  this $$$ printer is a brick until i get drivers!

    UPDATE- I FOUND THE FILES!!
    First of all, HP... i'm not impressed.
    All the files for all the drivers are in a series of temp folders...
    C:\Users\-myusername-\AppData\Local\Temp\3\7zS4A73

    There is no change to this problem after 6 months since the last post. Put simply, and as stated in the previous posts, there is no way to scan a document and receive the image on your PC. If you are working with graphics for any length of time or want to create an image for inclusion as an image in a document or web page using this piece of equipment will not allow you to do so.
    Great shame as every other function works well - it cannot be beyond the wit of HP to include a Windows application that enables you to scan an image, receive it in the software you are using at the time (e.g. Outlook, Word, Photoshop...) and use it in your work.
    HP Printers several years older than this £1000+ Enterprise printer were able to do this simple job and have done so for a great many years. Just being able to use Microsoft's Fax and Scan would be start.
