    Unit was purchased six years ago.
    Unpacked and started for the first time yesterday.

    Online search mentioned motor.
    Using menu, tested motor, motor tested okay.

    If the printer has been stored for six years without use, it is perhaps likely that something has seized, or is stuck, leading to the error message.
    As this is a business class printer, you may be better off asking the question in the appropriate Business Support Forum - see http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-and-Digital-Imaging/ct-p/bsc-412

  • Error Code -1202 and Low Res Account Info

    My iTunes Store functions normally except when I look at my account information the pages I can access are in a weird low resolution layout where everything is in a simple Times New Roman font and just goes down the page in one big column. When I try to click on a link on the main account page like "Redeem" or "Purchased" the message error code -1202 pops up and tells me to try again later, I've had this problem for perhaps more than a year.

    It might be an issue with the configuration on your computer. I had this issue before and was able to fix it

  • Returning Error Code in Fault Response Message

    Hi There,
    Here is the background:
    We are using Security Interceptor component of BPEL PM for handling security procedures. We have extended the default ACLManager and provided the custom access control checks. The method overridden in the custom sub-class is isAllowedYoExecuteProcess (Signature: public boolean isAllowedToExecuteProcess(BPELProcessId processID, NormalizedMessage normalizedMessage) throws ServerException). This method throws ServerException, whenever there are any errors. ServerException allows to create the error message and error code in its constructor (Signature: public ServerException(java.lang.String message, int errorCode)).
    The issue:
    We have set the error code and error message and thrown the new ServerException. However when the SoapFault is consumed by a SoapClient (or BPEL console dashboard), we see the fault String like this:
    Error while invoking inbound message handler.
    An error has occurred while attempting to invoke the inbound message handler class "class com.collaxa.cube.security.Authenticator" for the message "". The exception reported was: Could not apply security [Sample Exception to test SOAP Fault]
    The String within the square bracket is what we had in ServerException. However I do not see the error code what I also had in ServerException. Please help me, how the error code needs to be set, so that the same can be retrieved by the Soap Client. Also, is there any way, I can just get the error message what I set (not the above jumbled one)
    Thanks & regards,
    Krishna

    This is "intended" - as we are just called by the engine, and every failure there is wrapped w/o the error code. I would recommend to store the error nr with the message .. and parse that ..
    litterally it's String error = message.substring(message.indexOf("Could not apply security ["),message.lastIndexOf("]")))

    I can't install itunes.  I get an error code 2894 & a message that states the installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package.  Anyone know what I need to do to fix this?

    Are you able to uninstall iTunes and QuickTime?
    You might have to search for the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility, which would allow you to remove some applications that you can't from Control Panel.
    Also, take a look at this Apple document -> Trouble installing iTunes or QuickTime for Windows.

  • Error Code : -3 and #63443 message on Quicktime installion

    I was having problems with iTunes where it would only work sporatically so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. I saw that the installation on the website was with Quicktime so I uninstalled that too.
    Now my problem is in the reinstallation. I've gotten that error code (-3) every time I've tried. When I click Quicktime on my desktop I get an error #63443 and it says that it has failed to initialize. When I click iTunes it says files are missing.

    If you have a 4G LTE phone, have you tried powering off the phone, removing the SIM card, waiting a few minutes, and then reinserting the SIM card and powering the phone back up to establish a fresh connection to the network?
    Similarly, if you have a 3G phone, have you tried dialing *228, option 2?

    Hi wbarattino and misterperov,
    Please bear with me as I'm not supporting much of business printers but I found a similar article on HP Business Forums.
    I also found this article (although it's a Color LJ 2600n printer) from the HP Business Support Center site.
    Hope this helps both of you!

  • GetPrinter() call fails with error code 124

    Hi all,
    I am researching whether I can use the Winspool API to print to a printer using the printer's IP address.  So far, I have not had any luck.
    Hopefully, someone can help me understand why I am receiving a 124 error code, or, let me know if what I want to do is possible.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks!
    This is the error I get from GetLastError() after calling GetPrinter() to get the size needed to declare the PRINTER_INFO_2 structure:
    An unexpected error occurred when executing the test.
    Error Code = 124.
    Error Message = The system call level is not correct.
    This is the test code I am using in my research.  OpenPrinter() always succeeds, but, GetPrinter() always fails.
    // Header File
    #include "stdafx.h"
    #include <WinSpool.h>
    void GetPrinterInfoTest(CString printerName);
    void GetFormattedSystemErrorMessage(DWORD errorCode, CString& errorMessage);

        UNREFERENCED_PARAMETER(argv);
        GetPrinterInfoTest("\\\\xx.xxx.xx.xx");  // Note: please replace the formatted string with the printer IP address
        return 0;
    void GetPrinterInfoTest(CString printerName)
        HANDLE hPrinter = NULL;
        int length = printerName.GetLength();
        LPTSTR printerNameBuffer = printerName.GetBuffer(length);
        ::OpenPrinter(printerNameBuffer, &hPrinter, NULL);
        DWORD cbNeeded = 0;
        if (!::GetPrinter(hPrinter, 2, NULL, 0, &cbNeeded))
            CString errorMessage;
            GetFormattedSystemErrorMessage(::GetLastError(), errorMessage);
            CString testResultMessage;
            testResultMessage.Format("An unexpected error occurred when executing the test. \n%s", errorMessage);
            cout << testResultMessage;
    void GetFormattedSystemErrorMessage(DWORD errorCode, CString& errorMessage)
        // Get system error and convert to message
        LPVOID lpMsgBuf = NULL;
        ::FormatMessage( FORMAT_MESSAGE_ALLOCATE_BUFFER | FORMAT_MESSAGE_FROM_SYSTEM,

                            (LPTSTR) &lpMsgBuf,

                            NULL );
        // Copy to CString to avoid memory leak
        CString formattedMessage( (LPTSTR)lpMsgBuf );
        ::LocalFree( lpMsgBuf );
        errorMessage.Format("Error Code = %lu.  \nError Message = %s",
            errorCode,
            formattedMessage);

    Hi Rupesh, Shu,
    Thank you for taking the time to help me with my questions.  :-)
    Rupesh: Regarding my call to GetPrinter():
      DWORD cbNeeded = 0;
        if (!::GetPrinter(hPrinter, 2, NULL, 0, &cbNeeded))
    As I stated before in my first post:
    This is the error I get from GetLastError() after calling GetPrinter() to get the size needed to declare the PRINTER_INFO_2 structure:
    An unexpected error occurred when executing the test.
    Error Code = 124.
    Error Message = The system call level is not correct.
    So, this call I am making to GetPrinter() is not retrieving information about the printer yet.  It is only performed to get the buffer size needed for my subsequent call to GetPrinter().
    Shu: the reason why I pass in NULL into GetPrinter() is because I haven't declared the PRINTER_2_INFO buffer yet.  Once I get the required buffer size from GetPrinter(), I will declare the PRINTER_INFO_2 buffer, and then pass that into
    a second call to GetPrinter() to get detailed information about my printer.

  • "the finder cannot complete the operation because some data in [name of iMovie file] could not be read or written (Error Code 26)

    Hi all,
    I have an iMovie project in iMovie HD 6.0.3. (Mac OS 10.5.8)
    It plays, but I cannot copy the file (including saving it to a flash drive). I get either a message
    "the finder cannot complete the operation because some data in [name of
    iMovie file] could not be read or written (Error Code 26)" or the
    message "A project file is missing. The file [name of the QuickTime
    movie inside the project.dv] couldn't be opened and is being skipped."
    This happened suddenly, I was able to save a backup version numerous
    times while working on the project.
    I followed some of Karl Petersen's advise on apple discussions. I opened
    the package contents, and everything seems to be there. The source file
    (original QuickTime movie) is there and can be opened and played. I
    replaced the current project file with the backup in the package
    contents, but that did not change anything. I was able to export the
    movie timeline into a new project as a single clip, but would like to be
    able to copy the current project.
    Thanks for any ideas..

  • Error Code -36 While Writing to External Drive

    I have a 2.16GHz Core Duo MacBook Pro with the 100GB 7200 RPM HDD and 1GB 667 RAM. I am trying to use my MBP with a Western Digital 250GB MyBook Essential external HDD connected via USB 2.0.
    The external HDD used to be formatted with FAT32 (I was unaware) and I could read and write small files to the drive with no problem. However, when I tried to copy my iTunes folder to the drive (21.7 GB) I would always get an error soon after the transfer began. The error message reads:
    The Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "08 Bottle of Blues.mp3" could not be read or written. (Error Code -36).
    The message will always come up on the same file. If I delete the file mentioned in the error message, the error will still come up after about the same amount of time has elapsed, but just on a different file.
    Recently, I learned that the external drive was FAT32 so I formatted it with Mac OS Extended (Journaled). I still get the same error.
    I have tried using Carbon Copy Cloner 3.0b5 and SuperDuper! 2.1.4 and neither application can complete the transfer--using the Mac OS Extended file system. CCC gives me the error:
    15:45:02 Error: asr: could not copy /./Applications/AppleScript/Script Editor.app/Contents/Resources/no.lproj/ScriptEditorHelp/gfx/sedebug.jpg; Input/output error
    15:45:02
    15:45:02
    15:45:05 ccc.sh: The restore operation failed, Error code: 98
    SuperDuper! gives me the error:
    | 04:00:49 PM | Error | ditto: /Users/caseyhancock/.Trash/Office 2004 for Mac Test Drive/Office/Fonts/./MS Mincho.ttf: Input/output error
    AppleCare support hasn't been able to help me, and I feel like I've searched exhaustively for information about Error Code -36. If anyone could shed some light on my problem and help me backup/copy files to this external HDD I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

    In my experience, it was a BAD EXTERNAL DRIVE...
    sometimes they are bad (and the one I had was a external USB 120 GB Western Digital) due to fall, or something, and you can format and they work, but they have a place on the disk that is just bad, and freezes the external disk, and it is unable to accept commands.
    A way of testing this, is to write to the entire disk..
    Doing this will kill the entire drive, but will allow you to verify that you can write to the whole drive... (in addition to erasing everything on it.. )
    make sure the disk is mounted in the finder.. and give it a uniqe name... so it will be easy to distinguish in the commands below.
    THE FOLLOWING IS INTENDED AS A GUIDE. VERIFY YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING BEFORE YOU DESTROY VALUABLE DATA..
    open the terminal program:
    type the following:
    df -h
    you should see all the disks that the are connected to the system. a sample of the output is below:
    it does not look so nice, as the font is not monospaced, but on the terminal window it lines up nicely:
    Filesystem Size Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
    /dev/disk0s2 186G 124G 62G 67% /
    devfs 97K 97K 0B 100% /dev
    fdesc 1.0K 1.0K 0B 100% /dev
    <volfs> 512K 512K 0B 100% /.vol
    automount -nsl [182] 0B 0B 0B 100% /Network
    automount -fstab [198] 0B 0B 0B 100% /automount/Servers
    automount -static [198] 0B 0B 0B 100% /automount/static
    /dev/disk1s1 466G 463G 2.4G 99% /Volumes/wd-usb-250
    in my case the last disk is a WD mybook that I called "wd-usb-250"
    now, in the finder, unmount the disk and make sure nothing is accessing it...
    notice that the computer thinks that the disk is connected via the path:
    /dev/disk1s1
    VERIFY THAT THIS IS THE SAME FOR YOU.. IF NOT THEN USE THE APPROPRIATE DRIVE..
    this next step will go and write zero's to the whole drive.. if you are not so adventures you could just read from the entire disk.. if there are major problems then the read will not work either.
    SO: to write in the terminal do the following: THIS WILL KILL THE DISK YOU ARE TESTING... INSURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING...
    NOTICE HOW IN THE COMMAND BELOW I HAVE /DEV/DISK1 NOT /DEV/DISK1S1.
    TRUNCATE YOUR DEVICE ACCORDINGLY...
    dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/disk1 bs=16m
    let it run till it either quits because of a i/o error or says it reached the end of the device.. if it reached the end of the device the device just had zero written to it..
    it at the end will tell you how many 16Mb chunks of zero it wrote.. (this is assuming that your disk is a even multiple of 16Mb).
    now to test that the device actually works, we can read the whole thing. by issuing the following command in the terminal.
    dd if=/dev/disk1 | hexdump -C
    you should get an output that looks like this (with the records being changed to be the size of your disk divided into 16 Mb chunks...:
    00000000 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 |................|

    1+0 records out
