How do i get the options bar and properties panel to display?I was about to suggest resetting LE from the Workspace drop-down top right corner, but if you can't see the Options Bar, I guess that is not going to happen. The normal Tool reset is grey out for LE, so it might be a case of resetting Preferences.

Recently noticed software updates were not occuring. "Restart" will not complete and tried just powering off and all but still no luck. Not real savy on troubleshooting so need some step by step advise.

Having problems with air printer to i pad, problem seems to lie with talktalk router, hp solutions managed to get i mac to air printer working but not i pad, adivsed to buy another router as talktalk is not compatiable with bonjour. Went to PC world apple department advised to by airport express. tried setting it up using but will not finalise. i was led to believe this would replace the talktalk router? i feel i have been sold the wrong thing. Any suggestions
This happened to me when I was setting up the wireless router for a friend. The issue is with the Westall modem. You need to go in and setup the "bridge" option on the westell modem. The link below gives directions or you can call bellsouth dsl support (this is how I learned about it).

Solution:
Method 1 - Hard Reset
Restore the modem to default settings by pressing the Reset button on the back of the modem and holding it for 3 seconds. (Bridged mode is the default setting for the Westell).
After the modem regains sync, it is in Bridged mode. Do not attempt to surf into the modem as surfing into the modem will enable the Easy Login page and convert the modem from bridged mode to a PPP mode.
Method 2 – Bridged Mode
Access the Westell interface using http://192.168.1.254 or http://launchmodem.
Click on the Broadband DSL Line button.
Click on the Protocols button
Select the radio button to the left of Option 2 (Bridge)
Click the save button. Once the modem has restarted it is in bridge mode.

The camera light will not go off on this POS iphone4. Any suggestions?
1. Try a Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider. Slide to power off. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
2. Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings. -
CS6 Lighting Effects will not run
Not enough RAM? Really? I am running HP laptop....Intel I7 2nd generation / 8GB Ram / 750GB HD / 1 GB VRAM. Even small files are not working.
Please adviseI am using Adobe Creative Cloud...so updates come regularly. I have used this filter before, Now when it is launched it just gives me this error:
"could not complete the lighting effects command becasue there is not enough memory (RAM).
I have checked preferences. Video Card has been enabled for 3D and I am using 6.85GB allocation for photoshop. Have bumped it to 98%. I have checked efficiency at bottom, never drops below 100%.

My camera and light/flash will not work!
The camera- when I try to use the camera it just shows black. There is nothing covering either camera face. I have already tried resetting the iPod to see if that would make it work but it didn't.
The light/flash- it just doesn't work won't even turn on.
If there is an easy way to fix this please let me know.

- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Adjustments made in light room will not show up in bridge
i have the adjust metadata button clicked in the catalog settings tab, but still no love as far as rating crops and color adjustments are concerned, any ideas anyone.
...and give Lightroom enough time to do so. Auto write .xmo is considered a "background" process so it can take a while for the task to finish. It does NOT happen immediately. If you want the .xmp to be written quickly, you'll need to select the images you want to update and actually SAVE the xmp metadata (control/command S). That is handled as a foreground task and is finished more quickly.

Internal isight audio indicator light not functioning
Hey,
The isight on my macbook seems to be functioning fine. However, the left indicator light (mic) does not light up when I use my mic, whereas before, it did. The right light works fine when I am taking a picture or am on iChat. But even when I record with GarageBand, the mic light does not turn on. Any idea how to fix this? Does this mean that a big problem is soon to follow? I don't think the light's burnt out; the macbook is less than 6 months old.

Take another look at your MacBook's User Guide (manual). It makes no mention of a mic indicator light. The User Guide identifies the little hole left of the iSight only as your microphone.
Perhaps you previously noticed light leaking across from the iSight indicator side rather than a true microphone indicator light, or do you mean some indicator in an application window?

Erratic Charger Behavior - Indicator light (thus charger) work sporadically
On my 18 mo. old Macbook, the charger (or perhaps the battery) is acting erratically in that when connected, the light often will not come on. Sometimes it works instantly, other times you have to snap it on & off 1-20x, or just wait for a while & repeat the above. Occasionally, it will illuminate for just a short period, then turn off. It likely will continue to get worse. Is this symptomatic of the defective batteries on the recall, or is this a charger problem, or something in the computer? I've checked the firmware on battery; it's 1.3, presumably the latest. All software updates have been installed as well.
Further, I've noticed that when the charge goes to about 40%, the machine just shuts off. No warning, just powers down, w/ subsequent loss of unsaved data. This may or may not be related.

The 1.3 update is the MacBook Pro update. You need to remove it before you can find out if anything else might be wrong. Leopard installs it.
Try these two locations for it. It will be one or the other.

Drag it to the trash and then reboot. After you reboot you will be able to empty the trash. Once you have done that run software update and it should install Battery Update 1.2. You should reset the SMC (System Management Controller) after doing this.
Then watch your battery and see if any of the things continue to happen.

Pavilion dv6-3227cl entertainment notebook powers on but only has a black screen
An HP Pavilion DV6-3227cl Entertainment Notebook, that is approximately 2 years old and is running Windows 7 Home Premium, AMD Vision Premium, will power on but not boot up. The fan runs and the "caps lock" light flashes once approximately every 4 seconds but all I get is a black screen with no cursor or error messages. There are no beeps. The power supply indicator illuminates (white) for about a second, then turns to a dim orange when the battery is installed, but remains white when the battery is removed. However, the two indicator lights (I'm not sure what they are for) next to the USB port nearest the power indicator light illuminate as follows: the one on the left (as you are looking at the right side of the notebook) is white; the one on the right is orange. Both are fully illuminated (not dimly as the power indicator light). The power indicator light is not as bright as the other white indicator near the USB port. The notebook has booted up and appeared to be running one time since having this problem started, but I have not been able to get it to boot up again. I am told the battery is bad (it's my brother in law's notebook), but is it possible the problem is with the power source rather than the processor or motherboard? I appreciate your comments/advice on this matter. Thank you.

Yes, as long as you dont see any "white" light reveal from LCD bezel back side while with blank screen state. LCD bezel is the cover around LCD, most design put LED modeule at the bottom side next to LCD. While back light is not on during boot up sequence, that means system doesnt have chance to get BIOS program running. It also means, it stuck at state of hardware bring up. Normally motherboard related.
I quickly checked hp.com and found some link that may help. Or 1-800-HP invent (1-800-474-6836) can save times. This forum only intends to quick/simply reply users questions. About another service and repair charge, I have to give you other links to reach.
