I am having problems printing PDF documents from our hp laserjet pro 200 color MFP M276n.
I get a blank sheet of paper and a message on the printer saying 49 service error - turn off then on
I can print word/excel documents.

HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276 - not able to print black when any color is empty

Hi,
We have 2x HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276n in our office, both have firmware date code 20121026.
The problem is that when ever one of the colored toner cartridges gets empty it fails to print even black & white documents and freezes in the replace cartridge screen.
In system supplies settings it is configured to print only black when colored supplies are below very low threshold limit.
Since the printer is freezing in the warning screen and only powering it off and on helps to bring it back alive, it seems that this is a software or firmware issue. I didnt find any firmware updates for this model though.
It doesnt make any sense that it is not possible to use the printer at all when only one of colored cartridges is empty. Any thoughts on how to solve this issue are welcome.

it is always advisable to update the printer to the latest firmware. Please update the firmware form the given link

Dear all
I have the new LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276n
and after it did go to sleep moode, i just touch the screen and it will be awake, but the main buttons (Back, Cancle, Home) doesn't work, and I have to restart the printer everytime...

I see that you are having issues with the printer waking up. I would be happy to help you.
Update the printer's firmware. Software and Drivers. Select Option 2 and wait for the page to load and then select the link for firmware.
I would power cycle the router and setup a Static IP address to see if that will resolve the issue. Go to Solution three: Assign the printer a static IP address. Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection. Disregard the title.
What operating system are you using?

Dear Members,
When i'm trying to install the drivers for the printer HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color MFP M276n, on Windows Xp the issue is specific on windows xp only i tried on two machines its the same and its fine when i try to intall on windows 7.
Error Message:
A problem occured while preparing to install software to your system please restart your computer, and run this installer agian.

When a printer is connected by USB, the computer recognizes it and it will show up in the device manager, if it didn't fully install it will still be listed in the device manager and will not find it again when the printer is reconnected. We have to remove the old entry first.
Leave the printer connected by the USB cable.
Check the device manager to see if the printer is listed.
Go to start, right click my computer, left click properties, click on the hardware tab, then device manager.
Look for the printer entry, it might be listed as other devices, unknown device, delete the entry by right clicking it and select uninstall, it might show up under universal serial bus controllers as USB printing support, if USB composite device is listed then also delete it, delete the entry by right clicking it and select uninstall.
Since the software is already installed for the Ethernet connection, from device manager, click on Action and select scan for new hardware.
If it doesn't find the printer then it might have a ghost key in the registry causing the printer not to be detected again.
Let me know the results.

laserjet pro 200 color mfp m276nw stops printing giving an error message that the is memory low. How do I clear the memory?

I have had the same issue, cannot print multiple pages without having the memory low error appear. I have cleared the faxes from the setting menu. I have done an NVRAM reset and am able to print a 3 page document once and then receive the low memory error when I attempt to print another 3 page document. Restoring the defaults doesnt usually purge out the memory of a printer. You need a cold reset to complete that proceedure. Laserjet pro 200 color MFP won't print cyan

My HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw printer has stopped printing cyan. It does it for files sent to the printer as well as just trying to make a copy. The cyan cartridge has been replaced and status shows full. I've run all the onboard diagnositics, cleaning page, etc. with no luck. How do I determine the problem and fix it?

Hi , Thanks for getting back to me! It's not abnormal to see some print quality issues once your toner is lower that 20%. Were you able to complete the steps in the document that I sent? Is there any cyan on the print quality printout at all? If not, it could be a defective toner cartridge. I would suggest contacting HP Support to inquire about a replacement if it is a Genuine HP toner cartridge.**Fill in the model number and the form to receive a case number for quicker assistance. Hello Folks,
I have windows 7 64 bit HP laserjet pro 200 color mfp m276nw and do not see a print preview option. Is there a way to get this? In Linux I use print to ps file and ghostscript to view. Our oldink jet had a print preview option. I did see a message for another printer that there is no solution. Any help would be appreciated.

You would have to use the print preview, from the application that you are printing from, under File, Print Preview.

LaserJet Pro 200 color M251nw does not print from internet

I have a LaserJet Pro 200 color M251nw, set up for wireless printing. It finally works when printing from Microsoft Word 2010, but refuses to do so from the internet.
Can anyone help me?

I see by your post that you are unable to print from the internet. I can help you with this.
Run the Windows updates and update your browser.
Try printing from another browser to see if you have the same results.
Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. Find and fix common printer problems using HP diagnostic tools for Windows?
What internet browser are you using?
What operating system are you using?

HP Laserjet Pro 200 color M251nw does not print font larger than 48 using Office WORD 2013

If a create a new Word document and I type letters of 72 font, the letters do not print. If the font size is reduced to 48 then it prints. The brand new printer is connected to my laptop via USB. I'm using an HP Laptop Pro 7420s, 32 bit with MS Office H&B 2013. Any ideas as to what should I check? Thank you.

HP Laserjet Pro 200 color mfp m276nw, black prints, black bars

Read the two previous reports and the possible remedy from December 2014,but still not solved. Has there been any new solution to this problem on a nearly new MFP.

I read your post and see that you are getting black bars when printing in black. Please clarify if this isn't correct. I would like to help you.
I would do a hard reset to see if will help.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
I have provided a document with the steps for calibrating and cleaning the toners, printing a Print Quality page, inspecting the toner for damage, checking the paper and driver settings to see if this will resolve the issue. Some of the steps you have already tried, but please try the other steps listed. Troubleshooting Print Quality Issues.
Print a Diagnostics Page: Go to Setup, Reports Menu, Diagnostics Page.
Update the printer's firmware. Software and Drivers. Select Go under Option 2.
Have you tried a new toner?
Are you using Genuine HP Toner?
What are the toner levels?
What were the results of the Print Quality Page and Diagnostics Page.
This will help determine if it is just one specific toner, possibly a fuser or hardware issue with the printer. Feel free to include a screen shot of both pages.

LaserJet pro 200 color MFP M276nw Network Setup Issues

Successfully set up the printer. Elected to use Wifi option. Wireless computers are able to print to it no problem. Went to go do my first scan, and it tells me to setup the print to network drive. So i go to do this, and the HP software on the host computer (with USB connection) tells me that it can not setup unless is printer is connected to a network.
Obviouslly it is connected to a network....
So turned off Wifi. Turned off printer. Wired it to the router. Turned on. And still get the error message. For that matter, can not find in the Printer menu (on printer) where i can "setup" a wired connection.
I am a computer nerd, but for some reason i gots the dumb today. Some pointers would be appreciated - regarding the printer that is.

I see that you are having issues Scanning from the printer's control panel, you are getting a message to setup the printer to a network drive. I would be happy to help you.
I have provided some steps for you to try. I would suggest though, since the printer is already on the wireless network with the other computers, to just create a new port for wireless on the computer that was setup by a USB connection, instead of setting up the Ethernet connection. A Ethernet connection will turn off the Wireless on the printer.
Since you are now connecting the printer to the router by a Ethernet connection, you can print a Configuration Page to get the printer's IPv4 address. HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color MFP M276n and MFP M276nw - Printing a Configuration Report.
Then you can create a new port for the Ethernet connection.
Then go into Devices and Printers, right click the printer and left click Printer Properties, select the Ports tab.
Click Add Port, select Standard TCP/IP Port, then select New Port and follow the wizard.
Type in the proper IPv4 address for the printer.
Make sure the printer is online.
Test the printer.

Can print all files except Adobe (PDF) which freeze the printer. Have downloaded all relevant new software and still does not work. Was able to print PDF files until recently when the problem started. Supplier has not been able to solve the problem and cannot seem to get hold of anyone at HP who can help us. Any ideas ?

HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276 -Device error and Cleaning cycle issues

This printer (HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276) will print 2 pages, clean, and then give an error message. It does this consistently. I have tried the suggestions posted in other forums and I have not had any luck. Any suggestions??

Have you tried a hard reset on it? I know you said you power cycled it, but a hard reset is sometimes different than what some people consider a power cycle.
Follow these steps to perform a hard reset on the printer.
1. Press the Power button to turn on the product.
2. With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
3. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
4. Wait at least 15 seconds.
5. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
6. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
7. If the product does not turn on by itself, press the power button to turn it on.
Try that out and let me know if it helps.
