HP LJ 4015n Outlook issue

We have an HP LJ 4015n printer that is on our network. In the last couple months we've had some printer problems. I've reinstalled the drivers and have found that the only remaining issue is Outlook. We get numerous pages that come out and a couple with symbols. We are running Windows 7, 64 bit and I've tried both PCL 5 & 6 at this site.

What else can I try? One suggestion internally was to find a non-universal driver, but I have searched high and low and haven't found that.

Outlook Issue reporting incorrect number of recipients

I have an issue at my work, unsure whether its an Outlook Issue, Exchagne or AD where when you send a new email to a dynamic distriubtion group. The part above the To field states something like this.
This e-mail message will be sent to 396 recipients.
Now this particular group when queried on exchange 2010 has only 22 recipients and actually sending the email and then running a trace shows it was delivered to only 22 recipients. The group is dynamic using canned queries from an OU in AD.
Its the only list that does this, any explanations?

Test it throuhg OWA and let me know the result.
Go to EMC and find the specific to check if there is any Recipients Maximum limits from Mail Flow > Delivery Options. You may also check the Message Size Restrictions on the same location.

Powershell and Outlook Issues

So my ultimate goal is to export emails after a specific length of time as a .msg and then upload them to sharepoint for archival purposes.
My issue is all the examples I find never seem to work for me. I use PowerGUI for my ISE, I have powershell 2.0 and Outlook 2007 SP3
So for example, when I try something very simple according to the scripting guy
Reference, I try this line of code:

This should list the enums used to point to the different folders in outlook....here are some of them:

When I run it, either PowerGUI or straight in the console I receive the following error:

to

Outlook issues!

I have an 8330 for over a year, I use the calander in it religiously. I frequently sync it to my microsoft outlook and have never had problems until recently. I have the newest desktop manager and curve software both, but now when I go to sync the two calanders it tells me that it wants to delete things in microsoft that have not yet occured rather than transferring them to the blackberry. I have the sync options set up for two way sync and i have it set not to delete outdated events. the thing that has me curious is that i feel like this started when i downloaded the newest facebook app for the bbry 8330. it has facebook as my defualt calander on the phone and i have looked everywhere i can think to change that without success. what i want is to stop loosing apts that i have saved into my phone. any help is greatly appreciated

Your default calendar can be set in: Options>Advanced Options>Default Services. You can also delete the "Facebook [CICAL]" service book in Options>Advanced Options>Service Books, to ensure it doesn't interfere with your other calendar. Once you have done this, try to sync again.

Mac OS Maverick - Outlook issues

Hi everyone
I have 2 issues in MS Outlook (I'm using Mac OS Maverick)
Firstly, When I go to the search bar and type anything, the search doesn't work. There is no error. It just shows 'No results found'.
Secondly, I'm getting a few mails on my outlook where the MS word, MS excel, MS PowerPoint attachments are being converted to .dat file format. And this .dat file isn't opening.
Please help!

Ms outlook issues once I updated my OS X software

Is anyone else having ms outlook for MAC issues once I updated my OS X software?

Snce this is a Mac OS X forum you are a bit off topic, that said, what iOS version do you have...Settitngs > General > About > Version? And do you know which iPod Touch generation?
If you have iOS less than 5 you need to connect to a computer, start iTunes, select the iPod from the list of Devices in the left side panel, then in the main Summary panel select Software Update. If you have an iPod Touch from the first generation, you can only go to iOS 3.1.3, generation 2 iOS 4.2.1, generation 3 iOS 5.1.1, generation 4 and above iOS 6.1.3. The generation 5 will be able to go to iOS 7 when it is released sometime during Fall 2013.

Odd Outlook Issue; Cannot Send Updates to Existing Appointments

Hi all,
In the recent past (literally within the past month or so) a number of users have reported to our helpdesk that they cannot update events via Outlook. They update the event then attempt to click the "Send Update" button, but nothing happens.
It appears as if the button is engaged nothing happens. No errors are displayed and nothing appears in the event logs.
This started off with a few Delegates being unable to update items on behalf of the Manager, but it now seems like it has spread to a few people managing their individual Calendars as well.
I already advised the helpdesk to remove certain Office updates that I thought may be either related to Outlook or impactful to Outlook, but removing them hasn't helped. I also had them attempt to run in Online Mode (as the default is Cached Mode)
and delete the .OST, but these haven't helped either.
The users are able to update their events via mobile device and OWA without issue, so it leads me to believe it is indeed an issue with Outlook, or maybe some odd interaction with a specific Windows update, but I cannot say for certain, hence my posting
this here.
Particulars for the environment:
-Users are running Windows 7 SP1 or 8.1 (all 64-bit)
-Users are running Outlook 2007 SP3 with latest Outlook-specific updates
-Exchange is 2010 SP3 UR 8 v2 (on 2008 R2 SP1)
Someone from my team will go over to over to put eyes on this (with the helpdesk analyst who told us about this) and enable Logging in Outlook to see if it finds anything, but I wanted to post this here as well to see if anyone has encountered this
(or anything like it).

In client side, please start Outlook in safe mode for these problematic users to have a try. This operation can narrow down whether the issue is caused by any third-party add-ins in Outlook. If the issue doesn't occur in safe mode, please enable the disabled
add-ins one by one to find out the root cause. About how to re-enable add-ins, please refer to

Additionally, if the issue persists in Outlook safe mode, please perform a clean boot for this windows machine to confirm if the issue is caused by any third-party programs in local machine:

Removed Exchange 2010 SP3 Rollup 8; some clients still having Outlook issues

We have removed Exchange 2010 SP3 Rollup 8 and rebooted the Exchange servers; but some Outlook clients are still experiencing the issues where calendar appointments can't be saved. They get "the item cannot be saved to this folder. The folder was deleted
or moved or you do not have permission." Then "the operation failed". Everyone has created new Outlook profiles. This fixes some computers; but not all. This is happening on Windows 7 with Office 2010 and Windows 8.1 with Office 2010.
Does anyone have a fix?

Hi Mary,
Is there the same issue when using OWA ?
If OWA is ok, except recreate outlook profile, I also recommend you try moving mailboxes to another database and check if any helps.

Syncing meetings from outlook issue

Hi,
I have my phone synced with outlook and it is all working fine except Meetings in my calendar that were accepted by another user on my behalf do not appear in my iPhone calendar.
For example when a Meeting request comes through and my assistant accepts it for me, it appears in Outlook but it does not come across to my iPhone.
Has anyone else had the same issue? Or any ideas how I might fix this?

Outlook issue on Airport

I am having an issue using outlook on my Airport router and was wondering if I could get some help here. The issue is I can receive the mail just fine but when I try to send something it has issues. I was wondering if I need to just open ports 25 and 80 or what the heck to do since I am only used to working with linksys products and with it I never had any of these issues. The error is below:
"Sending ' reported error (0x80042109): 'Outlook is unable to connect to your outgoing (SMTP)e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider(ISP).

I would say no.. exchange server would not really make a useful backup without the software itself running.
You can and should of course be backing up your server.. but the TC is not the place to do that. Access to the backup though is pointless.

Help iCloud Outlook Issue

I need a little help. I keep getting "Your setup couldn't ve started because iCloud server stopped responding". Never had this issue until I mirgrated to the Icloud. I use a window 7 64 bit, outlook 2007 and run an i7 prossor.
I've tried to reinstall the icloud to no avail.

Outlook issue with "You Replied"

I replied for few mails & It was in my outlook. But after some time my Outlook went to hang, and i couldnt see the replied email in Draft/sentitems/outlook. My Exchange admin has confirmed that the email didnt reach the server. But Still there
is a Tag in mail saying that "you have replied" on the email.
Can I know is this a bug?

Which version of Outlook are you using? Please first make sure you have installed the latest update for your Outlook.
From the description, this issue only happens with few emails, correct? Are these particular emails sent from a special sender? Or can you find any similarities of these emails?
I haven't heard such a bug in Outlook. Have you tried repairing your Outlook data file in case it's due to data file corruption? If not, you can have a try according to the instructions in the following Kb article:

In addition, we can try open Outlook in safe mode to check if we can reproduce it. To do this, press Windows key + R to open the Run command, type
outlook /safe and press Enter. If the problem would be gone in safe mode, we can go to File > Options > Add-ins and disable suspicious add-ins to resolve the issue.

Outlook issue - How to transfer data to new identity?

Outlook on my MacAir keeps shutting down, so I cannot access my e-mails at all. I tried rebuilding the Identity database but no impact, I also repaired the preferences. When I create a new identity and then open Outlook, it looks ok. Now how do I access all the data that was in my previous "main" identity?
Spent a frustrating day today trying everything on the forums, but no luck. Appreciate any help here.
