HP M275 Laserjet

Hello:
I got this brand new printer two days ago.  I setup the printer on all my laptops & desktop. (mac & pc).
Web service is enable, Apps is on and so is e-print. There is no problem at all printing from my computers or from [email protected]
The problem, Apps. When I click on the App icon it say "connecting" then "downloading from web".  After a minute or so I get this error:
"Connection error" The printer is unable to connect to the service.  Check the Internet connection"
I did try almost everything. Called support and no luck.  Disabled the web service and enable it again. I am curious why I get this error message when people can send emails to the [email protected] emails and the printer will print it fine,
On my HP ePrint Center the printer shows connected and ready with a green check mark next to it. I am using an Apple Extreme router.
Thank you in advance for your help and information.
 Edited.....
Suddenly It started working. I did nothing, I added  one app to My Fav, but I don't think that have noting to do with it. Maybe the problem  was at the HP servers.

Welcome to the forums @cuteNplump
I read your post about your HP TopShot LaserJet Pro M275 MFP not printing for you. I will do my best to help!
I would recommend printing from other programs and please let me know if you see any issues printing from elsewhere.
If you are running a Windows OS, run the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If the tool cannot fix the problem, it should alert you to where the issue is. Please include the results when you reply!
Thank you

Also, we have the same model of printer here that you are having issues with. I pulled up the HP Printer Control app on my phone and it recognized it right away.
Did you have the phone connected to the WiFi (the same network that the printer is on) when you were trying to use the app? Just like with AirPrint, if it is not connected to the same network as the printer, it is not going to recognize it. If it still doesn't work, then you may need to make some changes to your network configuration. In a perfect world, everything would just connect and you would be done with it. In reality, you have thousands of different routers and completely different network configurations. A lot of the time, issues like this can be resolved by simply setting a Static IP address for the printer and using a reliable public DNS server vs. the one provided by your ISP.
You mentioned that you should have total control from the native apps in iOS and Android, but that's just not how it works. That functionality is up to Apple and Google to implement. HP has no control over how they design their mobile OS and what functionality they provide. The only reason AirPrint works the way it does, is because HP took advantage of the functionality already included in the OS.
If you would like to try setting a Static IP & DNS, follow the steps that I have listed below.
First, you will need a network summary page.
    1. Press the settings button on the screen of the printer. It is the second icon on the top, with a wrench as it's picture.
    2. Next, select reports.
    3. After you are in the reports menu, select "Network Summary". It will now print off that page.
After you have that page, now you have the correct information to set a Static IP and DNS.
    1. Open the Embedded Web Server (EWS) for the printer by typing the IP address into the browser’s address bar.
    2. In the EWS, select the “Networking” tab.
    3. On the left side of the page, click "IPV4 Configuration".
    4. Click the radio button labeled "Manual".
    5. Enter the IP Address, Default Gateway, and Subnet Masks listed on the network summary page into the appropriate fields.
    6. For the Primary DNS, enter the 8.8.8.8. Enter 8.8.4.4 for the Secondary DNS.
    7. Click 'Apply' at the bottom of the page. Once the page has reloaded, click it one more time to make sure the changes are applied.
    Best of luck,
    Kyle

  • My hp top shot laserjet pro m275 cannot find my wireless connection

    Hi there,
my printer cannot find any wireless connection available.
and the blue light on the wifi icon is blinking.
how do I solve this problem so i can print again?

The blue wireless light flashing means you are not connected to your routers SSID.  You need to go back and connect to your routers SSID with it's password to get the light on solid.

  • HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M602 driver issue

    Hello,
I've got issue with 600-series printers. We use the latest UPD drivrer ver. 61.175.1.18849 and print from XenApp 6.5. The error occurs every time when users try to print jpg files from XenApp session. It only happens with 600 series printers and UPD.
Also I've tried to assign native 600-series driver ver. 6.3.9600.16384 and it works good. But with that driver system says that it's color printer and it brokes our printing reports. These reports are very important for us. So we can't use printer and that driver as well.
Printer installed on Windows Server 2012 R2. All clients are Windows 7 x64. XenApp Servers are Server 2008R2.
Is it possible to get fixed UPD driver or correct native driver for Server 2012 R2?
    Regards,

There is no change to this problem after 6 months since the last post. Put simply, and as stated in the previous posts, there is no way to scan a document and receive the image on your PC. If you are working with graphics for any length of time or want to create an image for inclusion as an image in a document or web page using this piece of equipment will not allow you to do so.
Great shame as every other function works well - it cannot be beyond the wit of HP to include a Windows application that enables you to scan an image, receive it in the software you are using at the time (e.g. Outlook, Word, Photoshop...) and use it in your work.
HP Printers several years older than this £1000+ Enterprise printer were able to do this simple job and have done so for a great many years. Just being able to use Microsoft's Fax and Scan would be start.

  • HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 color M551dn - Optional USB Device port

Hi, I'm hoping to buy the optional wireless print server (HP Jetdirect 2700w USB Wireless Print Server J8026A). There is one problem though, the optional USB device port seems to not exist on my printer. I only notice that the USB logo is present where the port is supposed to be. The plastic in the area is squared off as though it is some sort of break away tab and the port is underneath maybe.
There is no reference to this in the manual anywhere and I am really unsure how to proceed. I don't want to damage anything.
If someone experienced with this model (preferably an HP Employee) can confirm the availability of the port and tell me how to access it (Is it a break away tab?). Part of the reason why I bought this printer is the optional Wireless N print server.
    Thank You in advance.

Thank You for your reply. The port you are talking about is the front panel port for walk-up usb printing and firmware upgrades. This port is indeed available on the higher end LaserJet 500 (NON-MFP, printer only edition) as I just used it to upgrade the firmware. The port I am talking about is the one on the left side in the ports section which you use to plug in the optional print server (not the computer I/O port).
This is shown in the official manual and the spec sheet so I'm 85% sure the port is there, hp can't advertise and mention something that is not available as this would be a big problem and make the 2700w print server incompatible when it clearly states that it is. I just need someone to confirm the availability and clear my confusion (either from HP, or another owner who bought the wireless print server 2700w).

  • HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 Color MFP M575 - Can't scan from Windows

We recently purchased and installed an HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 Color MFP M575 to be used as a networked all-in-one solution for a number of offices. I have been able to get it set up on our network and have installed the appropriate drivers on the requested Windows 7 x64 machines, and network printing works perfectly. However, it seems that despite the fancy scanning features available from the all-in-one itself (scan to email, scan to a network folder, etc.), I can't find any way to do an old-fashioned scan from Windows.
I have installed the full software solution available on the driver download page for the device, and while Windows lists the device as a "Multi Function Printer; Scanner" it does not recognize it as an actual scanner. The built-in Windows Fax and Scan simply reports that no scanners are installed. The software installation did not include the HP Solution Center (which I am used to seeing from my experience with various other HP all-in-one devices) or any equivalent for direct scanning. The driver download page for the device does not include any separate scanning drivers, so I can't be certain if they were included with the full installation or exist at all. Some of our staff also use Adobe Acrobat to scan, and even that fails to recognize the MFP as a scanner.
We'll eventually be setting up the device to scan directly to a network folder, but we need a fallback while IT takes their time getting it set up; I can't imagine that the simplest option is not available at all. I must be missing something here, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: To add, I also ran the HP Print and Scan Doctor. Interestingly, it reports the device as a printer and only offers to "Fix Printing" without any sort of resolution for my scanning problem.

  • HP AiO remote doesn't recognize 3rd party toner as compatible in LaserJet M1217nfw MFP

    Hi,
I have a HP Envy 17 running Windows 8.1, a MacBook Air, an iPhone and a HP LaserJet M1217nfw MFP.  I recently replaced the toner with a 3rd party replacement cartridge and while the printer does give me a "supply memory error" I am still able to print just fine from the Mac and my phone.  I am unable however to print from my Envy.  The HP All-in-One Remote app in Windows 8 gives me an "incompatible cartridge" message and says there are no solutions availble.  Is there a work-around to this?
I am not very good at Windows 8....
    Thanks

    Hi Thaddeus,
Although the printer may resoponse to some commands, a supply memory error is an error state about the used cartridge.
Due the error message on the screen the HP AIO Remote recognize the cartridge as incompatible, that cannot be bypassed
with any settings, resolving the issue which cause the error message is the only key to resolve a such.
If the HP AiO Remote fails to print in such condition the only solution is to fully resolve the condition by following the steps listed in my previous post.

  • AiO Remote and LaserJet

I have a HP LaserJet CM1415fnw and the firmware is 20131028.
It prints perfectly from my PC Windows 7(64bit) and quarter size from my Ipad iOS 7.0.6.
If I use HP ePrint it prints but I get a dirty shadow repeat 56mm down the page for the bottom half of the sheet which is unacceptable.
I would like to use AiO Remote but the program cannot find my printer which is connected to my router by an ethernet cable any ideas would be appreciated?

    Hello kingfishers,
Welcome to the HP Support forums.  I understand that you are trying to print to your Laserjet CM1415fnw printer. You indicated you have a couple of different issues; printing from iPad is smaller than from your computer, you have print quality issues when using ePrint, and the AiO app doesn't find your printer.
To better assist you, would you please provide some further information:
    1)       When trying to print from your iPad are you using Apple's AirPrint feature or the HP ePrint app? Are you trying to print a photo from your iPad when your documents seems to shrink to roughly 1/4 the size?
    2)      Are you getting the "dirty shadow" when you print the same document from your computer? Are you emailing the document to the printer or are you using the HP ePrint app?
    3)      You indicated that your printer is plugged into your router using an ethernet cable which would be why the HP All-in-One Printer Remote app cannot find it.  I've included The Printer Does Not Support Ethernet (Wired) and Wireless Network Connections at the Same Time for your reference.

  • Print to LaserJet 3150 Shared by Windows XP Pro

I have an older, but servicable LaserJet 3150 hooked to my Windows XP Pro desktop at work.
A long time ago, I set it up to share with OS X by creatign a virtual printer using GhostScript and some other queuing utility - this made is look like a PostScript Laserwriter. Worked great!
Alas, as common with Windows, the system decided to blow iteself away, and had to be rebuilt. I did not keep recipee, and cannot find it online.
Has anybody seen it? The problem is that the LaserJet 3150 is a impure PCL printer using its own format.

  • LaserJet Pro 200 color mfp m276 Printing issues

I have had this printer for about a year now.  Now it has started printing solid black lines across the page I am printing, whether it be from my computer or a fax.  I can run the cleaning process from the printer and its fine for a few hours and then back to the solid black lines.  It gets so bad there is more ink on the paper than white when it does this.  Have tried everything I can think  of to cure this to no avail.  I am running hp cartridges and just plain white paper.  Any ideas as to how to fix this.  These lines are thick lines, just not _____ but are about 1 " wide each.
I really need help with this really soon or I will have to replace it with another brand.  I use this in my office and can't have important faxes coming across with all these lines so I can't read it.  I posted this Saturday and still waiting for someone to respond.

    Hi @RandallRaley ,
I understand that when printing, you are getting solid black lines across the paper and now on the back of the paper. You are using HP cartridges, plain paper and have ran the cleanings with the same result. I can help you today.
Try another type of 20lb -24lb plain paper to see if you have the same results.
I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Update the printer's firmware. HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw Drivers.
Select your operating system, click next, click the link for firmware.
    Try printing again.
If the issue persists, follow the steps for aligning and cleaning the toners, printing a Print Quality page, inspecting the toner for damage, checking the paper and driver settings to see if this will resolve the issue.
