Hp m9500z crashed, able to restart and restore, now no HP splash screen, just hangs. after unplugging power for several hours, i was able to get system running, ran disk scans for errors, no problem. few minutes after vista is up it crashed again. when restarting all fans run full speed, no hp splash screen on boot, nothing. i have tried resetting CMOS using the jumper trick, nothing. removed the battery, nothing. i have even tried the blind tricks i have seen suggested, like pressing F10 for 8 seconds, etc. during one of the last times before it totally died out i ran the BIOS system diagnosis, everything was fine. I am thinking I have a corrupted bios. Any ideas? Could be a fried motherboard, but I am hoping its not that bad. Product num nh836av-aba.

Please ensure you have some esd protection and NEVER delve into your unit without first physically unplugging it from the power at the wall

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

Hi. When you were in the recovery drive doing permissions, did you try and run a repair of the boot drive? Did you try single user mode? Try these first and then go back and try to reinstall the operating system.When I say repair boot drive I don't mean permissions. There are both options in disk utilities.When you open disk utilities ,you will see in the left column two drives plus possibly a boot partition that look like an external driv. click on the second drive and in first aid use repair disk. If you clicked "Never" then you have created an exception that you need to remove.

A compatible SIM card would be from AT&T and would not work in India. It sounds as if your iPhone was hacked to unlock it and when you updated it, the hack was removed, thus relocking it to AT&T.

I went through my e-mails and took out a lot of ones that looked like junk, then went to upload my Facebook page, and I got an error message about your box was full, so i emptied the cache. Tried to restart and got a crash dump and had to shut it off to restart. It restarts in the large format, so you have to restart again, and it crash dumped when it tried to run. Not sure but this OTshot keeps coming on and didn't know how to fix it when it pops up as my page tries to start! This causes error messages and my Flash Player error about not loading or accessing properly!

I've purchased a 2nd hand iphone 3gs, it was working fine for 10 days.

I installed Firefox 4 on my 2010 13" MBP, standard configuration. It worked fine except that it didn't recognize any of the add-ons I was using and, to be frank, I don't like the interface as much as v.3. But ...
Then I backed up the entire HD, wiped the HD, removed it and replaced it with a Seagate hybrid HD. I then booted from the b/u and installed the entire HD contents on the new hybrid HD. Everything runs fine except for one thing -- Firefox 4 now will not recognize my bookmarks.
I tried reinstalling FF4 but this made no difference.
I did the b/u and restoration with Carbon Copy Cloner which I have used successfully for many b/u and restore operations on this and the white MB I previously owned.
Uh oh! I just tried to save a new bookmark (of this page) and it did not save -- or at least, it did not show in the "Show all Bookmarks" pane.
HOWEVER, when I start typing in a URL, it FF4 comes up with the completed URL in a flash. e.g. I typed "wiz" and FF4 showed me the completed URL (which should be in my Toolbar bookmarks and which I visit t least once daily).
