Hp mini 1000 bios password recovery

Question

I have an HP mini 1000 that a friend gave me. It is asking for a password at the startup before windows kicks in. My friend doesn't remember the password and after 3 failed attemps it has the error code of
[edited Serial Number by Moderator]
How do I get the bios password based on this error code?

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums. I needed to edit your post and remove the Serial Number. From our Rules of Participation:
