I understand that you need to replace you keyboard on your HP Mini 110-3500 CTO PC. I will try my best to guide you with this. In the HP Mini 110 Compaq Mini CQ10 Maintenance and Service Guide are the replacement spare part numbers on page 28. • HP mini 110- 3500 laptop fails to boot after SSD upgrade

    Hello,
I recently bought a "crucial 250gb 2.5 " SSD and 2gb RAM (also by crucial), to upgrade my HP mini 110-3500 laptop, which was exceedingly slow. But unfortunately, the laptop has refused to boot when powered on. What can I do? I am very worried.
    Enkay1

You answered. That is what I thought. You have DDR3L-1600 low voltage 1.35 volts. Low voltage will run at the higher voltage (1.5 volts) but it is just not the ideal memory for the older hardware. You need DDR3-1333 memory as HP specified for the laptop. You can confirm or refute my diagnosis by putting in the old memory and see if she boots.  This is the part mumber you need: 621567-001 http://www.ebay.com/itm/2GB-COMPAT-TO-621567-001-A3803335-A4100445-A4427375-/230655741975?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35b4275017  Does your memory have 8 black blocks on the side or just 4? You want 8. Also if you have Windows 7 Starter you cannot use 2 gigs of RAM. If this is "the Answer" please click "Accept as Solution" to help others find it.

  • Hp mini 110 3500, Product Number: LG317PA

    Helllo to eveyone,
I am new to this site and all. I am from Dhaka, bangladesh.
I have a Hp mini 110-3500 product that i  need to replace the battery.
But i have difficalty to find the battery in local store that provide the battery or parts. As they dont have the battery i need. I have serche the other local market too, who sell HP product or part. they dont have the battery.
So how can i get the battery, is there any way i can purchage the battery from hp or their distributor or whatever available in bangladesh.
    Thankfully yours,
    ParveJ Hossain.

Cell replacement is very easy & as long they use decent cells such as Sanyo, LG, Samsung etc it is very good & safe option & better than new old stock complete battery.
I can find links to generic replacement but indeed hard find genuine hp battery to ship to your region.
What is your battery model number ?

  • Hp Mini 110 1013tu Keyboard is Not working after upgrade to win 7

Hello need help on weird happenings to my keyboard..
Before i upgrade the Operating System From Windows XP to Windows 7 the Hp Mini 110 is working fine..
All keys on keyboard is working and touchpad is also working.
But after upgrading to windows 7 some keys on keyboard are not working like z,x,c,v, left ctrl and other more keys..
what do you think is the problem??
    Hardware Issue? or Driver Issue?
    please help thank you..

    Hello @MysticDragon ,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand some of the keys on your keyboard are not working after installing Windows 7.
I do not see any drivers available for your notebook for Windows 7 on the HP website, so their might be some compatibility issues as it's going to rely on Windows update to find current drivers. This doesn't mean it will not work, but I cannot say for sure that it will.
    Try this:
    1. Click Start.
    2. Click Control Panel.
    3. Click Clock, Language, and Region.
    4. Click Region and Language.
    5. Click the Keyboards and Languages tab.
    6. Click Change keyboards...
    7. On the General tab, make sure English (United States) - US is selected in the Default input language field.
    8. Click on any other keyboards in the Installed services list.
    9. Click Remove.
    10. Repeat for all other non-English (United States) keyboards.
You may also want to try rolling back to Windows XP and see if the issue persists. It is possible the issue is coincidental and not the direct result of the update to Windows 7.
Let me know if this works!

  • HP Mini 110-1030NR keyboard

Replacement keyboards for the orginal keyboard on my HP Mini 110 have exhibited a common fault, the <Left Control> key is stuck on (not mechanically stuck however). I have verified fault with 3rd party keyboard test programs. Is it the driver, or some keyboard mapper, that need to be loaded? Or is it the hardware? I have tried two different replacement keyboards from different manufacturers. Thanks for the help in advance!

    Hey wally32,
For the left Control key being stuck, I have included the document 'Notebook Keyboard Troubleshooting (Windows 7)'. Please click on the option for Stuck Key, and follow through the steps. This will make sure that the keyboard software is up to date, as well also cleaning the key itself manually.
Please let me know the outcome of the troubleshooting. As this will help narrow down the issue, if it is still present after troubleshooting.
    Thank you.

  • NetbookHP mini 110-3500 runs VERY slow.

Some time ago I purchased the HP Netbooks 110-3500. So VERY disappointed in it. Its so slow that it sits around unused because I find it too slow to use. I did purchase it at the low end of costs, but still I'd expect it to run decently. I generally would use this size computer for internet usage and email, as its nice and light and compact to take with me where ever I go.
But sadly, I have hardly used it at all. I will most likely have to resort to calling HP. I am tired of spending so much time with computer companies overseas with my computer problems.
Any suggestions?  I had seen many netbooks work very well and thought at least internet and email would work well on this brand. If HP made this to be a real cheapy why bother if it doesn't run well. This has Win7 Starter. Intel Atom CPU [email protected]; 1gig RAM; 32bit OS.
    Thanks for any help.

    Thx!

I would, generally, had wanted this netbook for internet and facebook games. Also reading my webmail. But even WORD comes up slow. Just in general EVERYTHING is lagging.
Oh....and I just remembered something else....after it being off for months, I did start it and try again, and when I gave up and shut it down, it had 6 updates to do. It said NOT to shut it down until the updates were completed. So I set it to the side, went about my evening, came back after a couple hours and it wasn't even done with Update 1. I said to myself this is reduiculous, but ok...I kept it on ALL NIGHT and after another 7 hours, it had only got to Update 3. After another almost 3/4 of a day it finished finally.
Oh...and NOW it says Configuring Windows Updates 24%. Whatever that means.
My laptop doesn't do that and if I have updates its usually just minutes to complete.
I do appreciate your responses. Like you said, I will check on the changes to the hardware and see how it goes.

  • Hp mini 110 1134CL keyboard malfunction

    Hi
I wonder if anyone can help.
A few weeks ago my HP netbook keyboard started malfunctioning. Initially, there were a few keys that just would not appear when I typed but the problem has escalated and now, on each row, I can only type 2 of the characters, e.g. 5 and 6 on the numbers row, T and Y on the next row, etc.
Is there ANY way to fix this?
    Thanks
    Ann

I saw a proposed solution under another Keyboard-tagged question (there are several of us with this issue), haven't dared try it.
Apparently this is systemic with HP, and you have a particularly bad case of it.  I am on my second keyboard, and having the same problems with the shift keys that I had before, and now suddenly I am intermittently losing the use of the "u."    I hope HP is reading these posts.

  • Mini 110-1125SA Keyboard

Hello, where can I find the correct part number for the keyboard for this PC please?
I have purchased 2 that the seller says are the correct ones, but they both give incorrect results when installed. The original was disposed of when the new one arrived, so I have nothing to cross reference it to!!
    Thanks in anticipation.

    Hi,
Part number 533551-031 is NOT for your machine. Only 6 machines use this part:
        http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?SearchText=533551-031
Part number 535689-031 is also no good for your machine:
       http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?SearchText=535689-031
As mentioned above, I can't find part for your machine in the US and the UK. I know machine is a spcial built, you need to find part number from existing keyboard and search again.
    Regards.

  • HP Mini 110-3500 Netbook: How to skip Boot Manager screen when booting into Windows 7 Starter

    Hi,
As per the topic. I can't seem to deactivate the boot manager screen and it's getting really annoying having to press the enter key each and every time I turn on my netbook.

First you need to get into the BIOS.  You can accomplish this by holding down the F10 (aka volume up) key located on the top of the keyboard near the right.
Next hit the right > arrow key (located on the right bottom of the keyboard) 3 times to get you to the System Configuration tab.
Thirdly, hit the down arrow key (located on the right bottom of the keyboard) 3 times to take you to the Boot Options sub menu and hit Enter
Hit the down arrow key once to highlight HP Quickweb and hit enter.
    Select Disabled and hit Enter
Hit F10 (Yes should be selected) and hit Enter
    DONE!!!

  • HP Mini 110-1100 CTO keyboard not working fully

    Hello, everyone;
My Mini 110-1100 keyboard is acting strangely. Most of the time, certain keys will not register as being pressed. Space bar, the left shift key, t, y, [, ], z, x, c, v, and m all do not work when this happens. Sometimes (rarely) all keys will work from boot. In addition, when it's not working properly. after using it for a few hours or so, the keyboard will randomly work. I'm assuming it is a software problem as opposed to a hardware issue because of this. I am running XP Service Pack 3, with all available updates. I have also tried reinstalling both the keyboard and touchpad driver.
If anyone has any suggestions, it would be appreciated. Thank you!
    -Don

Ok, so the drivers are current, an external keyboard works, you could try restoring the system to a date when the keyboard was known to work but I doubt that it would fix it, most likely it is a hardware issue, in which case you should check your warranty and call HP.
