Hi, I cannot use the bluetooth in my Hp mini 110-4108TU, I tried to add device but couldn't connect my mobile via bluetooth as a result i cannot transfer files. Do I need to install driver for bluetooth, if yes then please help me about the driver. Also I would like to know how I should be able to use wi-fi and wlan, do drivers need to be installed also? Are the wi-fi and wlan inbuilt? In the device manager I see Atheros and Microsoft virtual wi-fi adapter present, what are these?
I have attached the image of the device manager pop-up box.

  • HP Mini 110 - 4108TU , Change display unit

    Hi ,
In the screen resolution setting under display it shows Digital Flat Panel ( where as I am using my laptop screen itself ). Because of this my  screen does not fit into the display of my laptop screen.
    The resolution selected is 1024 x 768.
Please help me as to how do i change the display .

That is too bad about  system restore not being enabled. I can understand that, considering how small the mini's hard disk is.
Follow the instructions on the follwing Microsoft web document
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/change-your-screen-resolution
if no joy, then reinstall the Intel video driver

  • Hp mini 110-1100 ram

I was wondering if the ram can be expanded to 2 gigs

    Hi,
Yes you can. Your machine has only one slot therefore you have to throw away the existing 1Gb piece and buy a new 2Gb piece of RAM. You can buy from the following link or use this info to buy elsewhere:

  • Hp Mini 110 1013tu Keyboard is Not working after upgrade to win 7

Hello need help on weird happenings to my keyboard..
Before i upgrade the Operating System From Windows XP to Windows 7 the Hp Mini 110 is working fine..
All keys on keyboard is working and touchpad is also working.
But after upgrading to windows 7 some keys on keyboard are not working like z,x,c,v, left ctrl and other more keys..
what do you think is the problem??
    Hardware Issue? or Driver Issue?
    please help thank you..

    Hello @MysticDragon ,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand some of the keys on your keyboard are not working after installing Windows 7.
I do not see any drivers available for your notebook for Windows 7 on the HP website, so their might be some compatibility issues as it's going to rely on Windows update to find current drivers. This doesn't mean it will not work, but I cannot say for sure that it will.
    Try this:
    1. Click Start.
    2. Click Control Panel.
    3. Click Clock, Language, and Region.
    4. Click Region and Language.
    5. Click the Keyboards and Languages tab.
    6. Click Change keyboards...
    7. On the General tab, make sure English (United States) - US is selected in the Default input language field.
    8. Click on any other keyboards in the Installed services list.
    9. Click Remove.
    10. Repeat for all other non-English (United States) keyboards.
You may also want to try rolling back to Windows XP and see if the issue persists. It is possible the issue is coincidental and not the direct result of the update to Windows 7.
Let me know if this works!

  • HP mini 110- 3500 laptop fails to boot after SSD upgrade

    Hello,
I recently bought a "crucial 250gb 2.5 " SSD and 2gb RAM (also by crucial), to upgrade my HP mini 110-3500 laptop, which was exceedingly slow. But unfortunately, the laptop has refused to boot when powered on. What can I do? I am very worried.
    Enkay1

You answered. That is what I thought. You have DDR3L-1600 low voltage 1.35 volts. Low voltage will run at the higher voltage (1.5 volts) but it is just not the ideal memory for the older hardware. You need DDR3-1333 memory as HP specified for the laptop. You can confirm or refute my diagnosis by putting in the old memory and see if she boots.  This is the part mumber you need: 621567-001 http://www.ebay.com/itm/2GB-COMPAT-TO-621567-001-A3803335-A4100445-A4427375-/230655741975?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35b4275017  Does your memory have 8 black blocks on the side or just 4? You want 8. Also if you have Windows 7 Starter you cannot use 2 gigs of RAM. If this is "the Answer" please click "Accept as Solution" to help others find it.

I just picked up a HP Mini 110-3150CA - I have 1gb Ram - But I would like to upgrade to 2GB ram -- can this be done? And what type of Ram do I buy?

    Here is the Manual.
    Manual
Instructions for upgrading memory are on page 51.
It uses DDR2 laptop memory 667 mhz which is commonly available even at a store like Best Buy. It only has one module so you have to replace the 1 gig module in it with a 2 gig module. You will be glad you did. It will run much better on 2 gigs.

  • HP Mini 110-3000 is anything upgradable ?

Hello HP experts, I need some help. Can I somehow upgrade my video card or RAM on my HP Mini 110-3000 ? Im looking forward to have a good gaming experience so that I dont have to buy any expensives laptop.

I'm not going to say that you can't upgrade your graphics card. but I would guess that if you had the tools and skill needed to sodder a new graphics chip into this system you wouldn't be here. so short answer for video upgrade, no. not going to happen on a notebook, let alone a mini.
but you can upgrade you RAM..

you want to play games on this? are we talking minesweeper? maybe the HP image of the device doesn't do it justice but it looks tiny.. more like a netbook. these things just aren't made to crank out the big games.

  • How to upgrade RAM on the HP Mini 110-313?

It says the HP Mini 110's are user-upgradable RAM to 2gig.
    How would I do this?

There should be a little door on the bottom of the machine where the memory chip is. Just order the memory and pop the old one out and put the new one in.

  • HP Mini 110-3616 RAM Upgrade

My Father in law is looking to buy a HP Mini 110-3616, they come with 1GB RAM (and Windows 7 Starter), I haven't ssen one of these, is it easy to increase the RAM, will it make it a lot faster?
    Thanks
    Steve

Here is your spec. sheet again and it says that you are running a 32 bit OS, so the max that you are going to use is 2 to GB.
     http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02780828&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&lc=en&dlc=en...
A 4 gig stick will probably work in there, but the BIOS may not see it and as Paul suggested, try to get one from a friend to test it out.
As for the HP compatibility listing, I think it's wrong, HP has printed the wrong information before.
Run this scanner from Crucial and it will tell you how much memory for sure it will handle.
     http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/
Is that 71 £ for the 2 GB stick, if it is, that's an outrageous price.   Shop around a little more, a 2 GB DDR3 stick at 1333 MHz is common as dirt and should be around 20 to 30 dollars US. I am sure you could find something on e-bay.co.uk that will work fine at a fraction of the cost.
Forget e-bay, just get it direct from Crucial.
     http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/listparts.aspx?model=HP%20Mini%20110-3105sa&Cat=RAM
It's still expensive, but better then HP's price.

  • HP Mini 110-3520ca constantly restarts when trying to restore from usb flash drive

    Hi,
I have a HP Mini 110-3520ca that I upgraded to Windows 8, but was having issues with freeze ups and shut downs so I decided to go back to Windows 7 Starter.    When I tried to restore to factory default the files were corrupted and I couldn't restore from the recovery hard drive or my external back up files.  I ordered the recovery  USB flash drive from HP and tried to restore from it.  It completes the Recovery Preparation and the Software Installation finishes, Windows starts to load, but Ithen it goes back to welcome to Recovery Manager.  When I try to start Windows without the flash drive I get an error log that is below.  Can someone tell me how to fix this or what needs to be done to get my Windows working again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @Savvy58
I did some further looking into that Error Log you posted. Basically, it means that is looking for a certain location that doesn't seem to be there. This could be a problem with the USB Recovery drive that you have. I would recommend that you contact HP. You can reach HP Total Care at 1-800-474-6836 in North America or start here if you live outside of North America.

  • Netbook Mini 110-3830NR How do I create a restore image on a flash drive

I have a HP Mini 110-3830NR Netbook running Windows 7 Starter.
I want to create a restore image to original factory state.
The user manual recommends that I create a restore disk.
It further states that to create a restore image on a USB device, I need at least
    a 16GB device.
Therefore I purchased a Hp v165 16GB flash drive that actually contains
    14.8 GB of user space.
I could not find the correct info about creating the disk on the HP support
web site so I chatted with an HP Support technician. She eventually gave me
a link to a procedure that would create a restore disk for me.
Then she said I needed a 32gb flash drive !!
Is the user manual or the technician correct ??
    Can I use the 16GB (14.8 actual), or must I buy a 32 GB flash drive ??
    Thank You   fljim

I would just try to create it, the recovery creator should tell you at some point if it is big enough or not, orignally 8gb was big enough for most W7 system's HP sold, but as time passed they had to upgrade the size recommendation to 32gb.
the 16gb should be large enough for your model.
This HP document says al least 8gb minimum, use 16gb for best results, very confusing, I agree
