Hp needs to design the following else you are gonna get left behind...

I have used a lot of hp products but am now in search of what I ideally need and I find myself going to other companies and I think that is sad so being fond of  HP products..... loyalty counts....I think CEOs need to go out there and listen to the customers what they want.   Would your child not want quality and ease of use. You gotta listen to those who make a reality check....like the following.......today's need..it is performance and ease of use with lot of easy functions.... cut the crap and
come up with the following ....
laptop:
sandy bridge processor....no touchscreen but 1920X1200 display...fingerprint reader and removable touchpad.....illuminated keyboard.... fantastic graphics card 680... 12 gb ram as standard max 24   todays applications need more.     256 ssd....forget 128...a superb camera   2m pixel....you have a winner....and you should give the option to the customer to go higher on the screen display like apple's retina display resolution.
If you look at the best.....the follow them....
you need to design a tablet like the apple ipad 3 4g 64gb and design a joining keyboard like that of logitech ultrathin keyboard for ipad 2/3....you can do better by illuminating that keyboard.....you need to do things that are ahead of the game ......I know it makes sense but the question is..........is  this making sense to you and is there a desire to build good quality stuff......what's HP going to do now...canon's printing products are getting way ahead..........get a move on......This is a new ballgame here......and I am not a ordinary jack ass siiting here blowing my time. In fact I write from an HP product....there is nothing in the market like the Hp 2310ea....thus the loyalty and screw the masters degree from A great Institution and all that crap....though education counts.....its the experience of sitting here wanting the ideal product. I have given you what is an ideal product.....quality has to be there like samsung apple and toshiba.... please pass this onto the product innovation team ....or are they sitting lame ducks.....if so contact Meg and tell her to GET ON THE BAND WAGON.......ELSE YOU ARE TOAST     as a matter of fact the capitalised should be slogan at HP...people will get a move on...

I assume you have a 2008-2009 inbody MBP.
What OS are you using?
In Disk Utility, what does it say next to S.M.A.R.T. status?
Go to iFixit.com and look up your exact model and determine if they have the correct Optical Drive available and the instructions for installing it.  (They probably will)
If you are handy, open your MBP and with the installation instructions from iFixit, take out your Optical Drive.  Open it up (I think there should be 4 screws that will have to be removed) and remove the Disk.  With a couple of cans of good quality non-residue electrical cleaner and a soft artists brush, clean out the hot chocolate residue from the Optical drive.  Put it back in and if you are very lucky, it may actually work.  If not, get a replacement from iFixit or any body else that sells them.
Hints.  Use good quality tools.  The iFixit website should tell you what tools you will need.  Do this on a clean towel so that any screws that you drop will not bounce away.  Keep all of them organized.  Before you take out any screws, mentally prepare your self for what has to be done and in what order.
Let me know how you do.
Ciao.

  • Need help with the following error message...

    I just got a Shuffle for Christmas and was trying to download iTunes when I got the following message. FYI - I have a PC and the operating system is Windows XP:
    iTunesSetup[1].exe is not a valid Win32 application
    Anyone received this message before? I've looked around the troubleshooting section but am at a loss as to what to do from here...
    Thx

    I do have SR but hoping i can get quicker answer hereYou may always escalate the SR if you are not getting response timely. Anyways, give the reference of this thread in the SR and ask service engineer to file a bug.
    I will email you the wire messageI saw the wire message you mailed across. There are some junk characters in the starting of the payload and that's why parsing is failing. Most probably it is a BOM (Byte Order Mark). Ask your TP to send messages in UTF-8 encoding without BOM or any other junk character in the starting of the message. You may open the wire message payload you mailed across in notepad or textpad and you will able to see those junk characters in the starting of the payload.

  • When I try to open a recent document I get the following message "You need a newer version of Pages to open this document."  I have downloaded version Pages version 5.2.2 and the app store confirms this, but my Pages About reports that I am using 4.3

    When I try to open a recent document I get the following message "You need a newer version of Pages to open this document."  I have downloaded version Pages version 5.2.2 and the app store confirms this (and won't let me download it again), but my Pages About reports that I am using 4.3

    Here is the solution that I received from the chat line.
    When you update applications like Pages it usually keeps both versions on the computer. So what most likely happened is it didn’t put the new version on your dock. So to fix this, open a finder window. And go into applications which should be listed on the left. Scroll down and you will see Pages listed in here. And the icon should look different. You can drag that icon down onto your dock.Open that and you then can access your documents

    I keep getting notified I have an update available but when I try to update I get the following msg ,"You have updates available for other accounts To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it.". I only have one account with apple and the software was preinstalled when I purchased my macbook in Aug 2012 with that account. Has anyone had this problem or know how to find out what account apple needs?

    You log into the App store using the same Apple ID you used to set the computer up, verify that none of your apps are hidden and that they have all be accepted and then download and install the update

    Thanks for you reply.  I'm 99% positive that I'm using the user id and password that I used to set up my computer.  That's why I'm stumped.  I read the solution someone else suggested (type your user name without @gmail and create a new password.  When I tried it, I was asked for my birthday.  It didn't recognize it.  I know I got my birthday correct. Oh well...

  • Do we need to put the following code in the web-xml for the project to run

    Hi^^^,
    actually I have created a project in Eclipse WTP and I am running it from remote server. Its giving me 404 error when I tried to run it.
    I know 404 error is generally due to some error in deployment descriptor.
    I am going through this tutorial for creating project in eclipse WTP
    this says that I need to include the following code in web-xml. Please look at the quotes below
    "Web modules in J2EE has a deployment descriptor where you configure the web application and its components. This deployment descriptors is called the web.xml. According to the J2EE specification, it must be located in the WEB-INF folder. web.xml must have definitions for the Servlet and the Servlet URI mapping. Enter the following lines into web.xml:"
    "Listing 2. Deployment Descriptor web.xml"
    <servlet>
    <servlet-name>Snoop Servlet</servlet-name>
    <servlet-class>org.eclipse.wtp.tutorial.SnoopServlet</servlet-class>
    </servlet>
    <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>Snoop Servlet</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>/snoop/*</url-pattern>
    </servlet-mapping>
    My question is, it is necessary to include the above lines between <servlet> and </servlet-mapping> in web-xml
    thanks and regards,
    Prashant

    I know 404 error is generally due to some error in deployment descriptor. what's the url you've put.
    <servlet>
    <servlet-name>Snoop Servlet</servlet-name>
    <servlet-class>org.eclipse.wtp.tutorial.SnoopServlet</servlet-class>
    </servlet> Every Servlet has to have a <servlet></Servlet> tag in the web.xml
    the <servlet-name>is for the naming the servlet and the <servlet-calss>is for class file of the servlet in your case the .class file is to be in the package of tutorial,if it's not then how the container will no where the calss file is
    <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>Snoop Servlet</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>/snoop/*</url-pattern>
    </servlet-mapping>You type something in your url likk http://localhost:8080/webappname (Tomcat server),so for url mapping instead of typing the entire class file name ,you just enough have to type what you've put in the <url-mapping> tag and it has to be inside of <servlet-mapping>
    I think the problem is in <url-pattern> change it like /snoop<url-pattern>
    My question is, it is necessary to include the above lines between <servlet> and ></servlet->mapping> in web.xmlSo now you think whether you need something inside <servlet>and </servlet-mapping>

    Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
    Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

    I installed a new hard drive and trying to reinstall FCP2 and on the install disc i get the following message - "You can't open the application FC Studio.mpkg because power PC applications are no longer supported"

    Because you are running lion.. FCS 6 is a Power PC app and Lion doesn't support Power PC anymore.. So you can't install it.. Three options..
    1. Revert back to Snow Leopard.
    2. Purchase FCP X...
    if you can't stand FCP X
    3. Call apple directly, 1800-MYAPPLE and ask to purachse FCS 3 for $999... (its FCP 7)
    I just got FCS 3 today through apple phone sales..

    The message means just what it says. Remove the damaged copy and try downloading it again.
    Edit: Looking at FontLab's page, there's two issues going on.
    1) It's a PowerPC app and will not run on any version of OS X newer than Snow Leopard, 10.6.x.
    2) The "workaround" they offer is to purchase the Windows version and then run it in the the open source Wine, Windows emulator.

    Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Lion/Mountain Lion
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
    Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.

    When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.

    When I try and open a word document I received the following message:  "You cant open the application Microsoft Word because PoerPC applications are no longer supported".  What is up with that?

    Here is a post that I assembled for a similar question:
    Unfortunately you got caught up in the minor miracle of Rosetta.  Originally licensed by Apple when it migrated from the PowerPC CPU platform that it had used from the mid-1990's until the Intel CPU platform in 2006, Rosetta allowed Mac users to continue to use their library of PPC software transparently in emulation.
    However, Apple's license to continue to use this technology expired with new releases of OS X commencing with Lion (and now Mountain Lion).  While educational efforts have been made over the last 6 years, the fact is that Rosetta was SO successful that many users were caught unaware UNTIL they upgraded to Lion or Mountain Lion.
    Workarounds:
    1. If your Mac will support it, restore OS X Snow Leopard;
    2.  If your Mac will support it, partition your hard drive or add an external hard drive and install Snow Leopard into it and use the "dual-boot" method to choose between your PowerPC software or Lion/Mt. Lion;
    3.  Upgrade your software to Intel compatible versions, or find alternative software that will open your data files;
    3.  Install Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) into Parallels:
                                  [click on image to enlarge]
    Full Snow Leopard installation instructions here:
    http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1365439
    NOTE: STEP ONE of the instructions must currently be completed on a Snow Leopard or Lion Mac and the resulting modified Snow Leopard.cdr install file can then be moved over to your Mountain Lion Mac for completion of the remaining steps.
    NOTE 2:  Computer games with complex, 3D or fast motion graphics make not work well or at all in virtualization.
