HP Officejet 8600 scan - How to force scan number sequence starting with a number of my choice

Using HP Officejet 86XX on WIn7 - with ADF.
I scan a lot of docs via the ADF and all docs scanned has a number in sequence noted at the documents.
Is there any way to decide which number the HP scan software shall start its numbered sequence? Eg. prefix "Document-" and then force the sequence-number to start at 00200, on order for the next file sequence number to be 00201 and then 00202 and so on??

Hi , I may be able to help you with your scan settings, but I want to make sure I understand what you are trying to accomplish - so let me know if this isn't what you are looking for. Click on the HP Printer Assistant icon on your desktop (It will look like your printer, and be labeled to match)In the HP Printer Assistant click on Scan a Document or PhotoChoose the shortcut you are selecting on the front panel of the printer (ie Save as PDF)Click on Advanced Settings You can modify your scanner settings, I believe you want to change the settings on the Destination tab.Base File Name: First part of the file name, so in your example "Document-", the scanner will automatically number it after each scan.. eg. Document-0001 will be your first scan, Document-0002, will be the second.Save Location: You can even setup a new folder for the scans After you change the settings, try the scan from the front panel of your printer. I have an HP Officejet 8600 Pro and wish to scan to email from the printer and wish to change the default resolution setting. I would like to change the default scan resolution so I dont have to remember to change it every time I scan.
If I change it with the HP Windows Printer Assistant software it only seems to change the resolution for this time and only from the computer not at the printer.
Is it possible to change the scan resolution settings at the printer? I cant find detail in the manual or on the printer console.

Open the Icon labeled Officjet Pro 8600 on your desktop, and then click on Scan a Document or Photo. When the Scan application window opens you can change the Resolution from the drop down menu.

How to have a sequence start with specific number in mapping

I can not find a way in the mapping to specify the "start with" attribute for sequence. Currently I have to execute this from sqlplus; select max(id) from tableA, then create sequence start with max(id)+1. I would like to integrate this step into owb. I'm using 9ir2. Thanks.

You can do this from a stored procedure that you invoke from your pre-mapping trigger:
- Scan the source and get the max_id
- execute immediate 'drop sequence; create sequence ... start with '||max_id+1
Etc.

I want to run a report in debug mode. The report name is RFFMEPGAX, which
is normally run using transaction FMRP_RFFMEP1AX.
I want to start the transaction, fill in the form with the values I need, then
hopefully the report code pops up in a debug window......
Is there a way to do this? I know how to open the debugger, but have not
yet figured out a way to get the initial transaction to open in debug mode.

If the transaction starts with a pop-up message, you can create a text file with this...

I am trying to parse data from HTML tables. First I want to remove all useless tags like . Now, how can I remove substrings like-
*My_Data_to_parse*
I was searching for any method which replaces a substring what starts with a substring (in this case "<font") and ends with another substring (in this case ">") . Is there any method like that? Or any better solution?
Another situation like the following-
*<td align="left" height="30" width="100%">*
In this case I want to remove all the height, align , width etc and make it as simple as "<td>". How can I do that?
Finally, all I am trying to do just to parse data from the tables in a html file. Is there any parser API or library to help me do that? Or to bring the data down to array from the tables based on table structure? Please suggest me.

probably the best place to start is to search for the "<keyword" of all of the html keywords, then search for the location of the next ">" - this will indicate the end of the <keyword> opening tag.

How to test BPEL Process that starts with a pick consuming a JMS message

We are using App Server v 10.1.3.3.0 and attempting to test a BPEL process which starts with a pick operation which is awaiting a JMS message on a specific queue.
We are using the Oracle JMS adapter to achieve this.
Is there any way in which this particular configuration can be easily tested using the BPEL testing framework? I have problems when I write the first initiate XML statement in my test case (stack trace below)

I assume you mean the JMS example under the $OH BPEL examples area. Unfortunately, this only shows how to get a BPEL process kicked off by awaiting a JMS message - but there is no test code there! There are specific examples which show off the testing framework facilities but it appears that all the examples which use async type of interactions are in the middle of a process which is kicked off by a normal synchronous client interaction.
Any further help much appreciated.

My problem right now, I want to group the bom so that I will be know the total qty of each bom from the range of bom that I count. That output was shown when I run the query in sql. But when I put into report 6i, the grouping has caused the arrangement of my bom runing up and down. How can I control the bom or any group funtion that I can used so that it will group the bom before start with a new bom ???

Seems to me you have a Reports issue and should ask in that forum.

Hi, today I came in front of a strange problem(bug) of IOS7. I am from India & here all the toll free no starts with 1800. I can call my bank'a (Axis Bank) toll free no (1800 233 5577) from my iphone directly but whenever I am saving the no in my iphone it automatically converts the no into +1 (800) 233 5577; which is an US no & the call could not be processed. Those toll free no doesn't work if u add '0' or India's country code '+91' at the beginning. How to save the no where I can make the call directly from the contacts.

This was a feature introduced from iOS6

How to create a DN that starts with cn instead of uid

I installed the new version of the directory server 5.0 and converted all dn's. All my DN's starts with the cn, but we I now enter new entries using the iPlanet console they all start with uid again. How can I configure the console so that when I enter a new entry, his dn starts with the cn instead of with the dn.

I had the same problem. To fix it, I performed the following steps:
* Open the Directory Server
* Select the Directory tab
* Select NetscapeRoot
* Select the domain
* Select Global Preferences
* Select Common from the right-hand panel
* Change nsuniqueattribute and nsuserrdncomponent from uid to cn
* Save the changes
* Logout of Console
* Re-start the Directory Server and the Administration Server
This worked for me.
As a note, when you look at the Advanced properties before you complete adding the user, uid will still be shown as the RDN. Ignore this. After you complete adding the user, view the Advanced properties again. The RDN will use cn.
