Hi. I accidently/on purpose deleted eprint on my HP OMNI 10 tablet. Is there anyway to get it back?

The Omi 10 use Windows 8.1 therefore you can reinstall drivers for your PRINTER. What is your printer ?

Can you help me. My Partner has recently acquired a Mac Book with iWorks installed and set up a new Apple email address via Mobile me. She has subsequently acquired a new Samsung Omnia mobile phone which is a windows based mobile. How do we sync this phone with her Mac Book to receive emails.

Where is the forum to post questions on Windows 8.1 (table) APPS

I have a Windows Tablet (HP OMNI) Windows 8. I am using the people app that Microsoft provides. I have linked my account with Facebook. Now when I go to the PEOPLE app in Windows tablet and I click on "Whats new", I should see all the new updates
from Facebook however I just see only 3 of them. Is there a way for me to see all the notifications from Facebook.
If it helps, this used to work just fine almost a month back so I m not sure why it is not working now.
I have tried almost everything - restart, uninstall the PEOPLE and MAIL app and install it back , re-add my facebook account in the PEOPLE APP but nothing helps. I only see 3 notification IN WHATS NEW sections.

is it possible to install Windows 8.1 Professional (32 bit) on the Omni 10 without problems?
Are there any how-tos available?

Hi @AndreasN , welcome to the HP Forums. I understand you are looking for an instructional to install Windows 8.1 Pro x 32 on your Omni tablet.
If you are saying that you want to install a retail copy of Windows on it, I do not have an instructional for you and I have never done it on an Omni tablet. I cannot guarantee you wouldn't have any problems, but I can give you a few things you will need. Here are the drivers you will need:
HP Omni 10 5600eg Tablet Drivers
If you have Windows 8.1 DVD's you would need a computer to make an installation USB drive to get it on your tablet:
Create installation media for Windows 8.1. There are many other instructionals out there as well, if you need more info.
If I am wrong, and you just mean to do a factory reset, these instructions cover that: Recovering Software on Your HP Tablet (Windows 8)

The prcessor is a Intel Atom Z3770 with x64 technology supported, tablet has 2GB memory so theoretically it should be possible

- Using “Add” button to replace the modified files.

Omni 10 Windows 8.1 windows didn't load properly

When I turn on my windows 8.1 Omni 10 the screen won't slide up to get to log on screen. I keep restarting and occasionaly it will say please wait and give me options to fix problems or restart pc and neither option on screen works. So I restart and if I hold down the button while restarting it will come up preparing automatic repair. Bit locker recovery page comes up with option to enter key or skip drive. Nothing on this page works and have to force restart. Is there a way to get in so I can refresh?

Hello Moonrock, What is the Model number for that tablet? 32 GB or 64 GB? I couldnt tell you why your tablet is malfunctioning but you may be able to reset it back to factory.Holding down the start button and the Volume Down button simultaneously should open recovery options at startup.You would choose Troubleshoot/Reset your PC /NextHave you looked at this page for recovering the Omni? IF not, either options 3 or 4 would be what you need.HP Omni 10 Tablet PCs - Recovering Software on Your HP Tablet (Windows 8) | HP® Support The 32 GB tablets should have came with a micro SD card that holds a recovery partition in it but its not a bootable drive.The 64 GB tablets have the partition already on the main drive. Never got the Windows MicroSD along with HP Omni 10. What to do?

Hello everyone.
I have the HP Omni 10. I like the tablet, but am facing some windows error and wanted to do a clean boot. I saw the manual and saw that there should have been a MicroSD along with the tablet which should have had windows files.
But I don't have it, and never had it.
What should I do? Please help me. My warranty is till April 2015.

Omni 10 Windows 8.1 won't always charge

Recently my Omni 10 has been intemittently refusing to begin charging when the power adaptor is connected. When this occurs, the battery must completely drain before it will begin charging. The charging brick is not getting hot. I tried disabling the power option for sleeping the USB controller, and this had no effect either. All drivers and BIOS are updated, and no applications have been loaded recently that might be causing the issue.
Short of a full factory reset, which is a real PITA, any ideas of what to try next?

I see you're having som issues with your Omni 10 charging.
Besides a system restore a system recovery is the only thing I can suggest for this problem. If that fails it would be best to contact HP phone support. Hp omni 10 with windows 3.1 keeps freezing - touch screen ko

I have read many posts about this issue and , not being very it savvy, I just don't understand the solutions. My tablet is still under guarantee. Can I assume that I can get it fixed or replaced? I am honestly very disappointed and wish I have spent my money on something else. How can you not fix this kind of problem for you customers - surely this is a case for a recall? Help???

Omni 10 touch screen does not work / Tablet Omni 10 non funziona il touch screen

After updates to Windows, the tablet does not recognize the touch screen.
I tried all the recommendations of the forum but to no avail !! it is impossible that HP does not have a solution to the problem? I see that others have similar problems, so it is a manufacturing defect? Amazon also because I would replace the product with another Omni 10 but if this has the same problem, I take the money and make change. thanks

Anche perchè Amazon mi sostituirebbe il prodotto con un altro Omni 10 ma se anche questo ha lo stesso problema, prendo i soldi e cambio marca. Grazie

Omni 10 touchscreen does not work

I have a 4 month old OMNI 10 5600US, S/N [edited by Moderator]
The touchcsreen fails to start when I turn on the tablet. Since this is a tablet, I am perty much dead in the water.
How do i go about getting this fixed?

Instead of helping a user to troubleshoot his problems and fix them, all you do is to quote the forum rules while completely ignoring the question itself. Great support you guys from HP doing there, just as I experienced also in the past. That's why I am done with this company's products!
@joe: you sure the touchscreen stopped working or the device maybe locked up after start? Try connecting a mouse and keyboard via USB hub and a USB OTG cable. If this works you can try to refresh windows without loosing your data.

Is Cisco VPN posible for Windows Phone 8.1

Hello,
Microsoft released Windows Phone 8.1 on April and it supports VPN connections.
So I would like to ask:
Is Cisco going to release Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client for Windows Phone 8.1?
Maybe someone managed to make clientless connection with ASA 9.1( for example IKEv2 or SSL-VPN) ?
Or should I abandon idea of connecting WP 8.1 with ASA?

Looks like AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client 2.5 is supported for windows phone , however W 8.1 mobile has not been tested by Cisco , We cannot guarantee compatibility.

ICloud email no longer working on Window 7.8 Phone

I have been receiving my Apple emails on my Windows 7.8 Phone successfully for the last 2 years. About 3 months ago emails could no longer be sent or received and I typically get the following error codes dependant upon how I have my IMAP/SMTP settings configured; 800c2746 or 80072FA8.
Apple email is working fine from my Android tablet and also from my Windows 7 PC and I've tried replicating these settings on my phone without success. I've googled the problem and tried all the different set up options I can find but not have worked. I'm beyond frustrated now and I suspect Apple has broken something during the recent iCloud work for IOS or Yosemite as nothing has changed on any of my devices and it's only my Windows phone that no longer works.
Does ANYONE have a Windows 7 Phone (mine is a Nokia 800) that is successfully sending and receiving iCloud emails as of today, 2nd November 2014. If you do would you be kind enough to tell me what server settings you are using.

We have this problem since mid september and no solution.
