The toner light keeps flashing. I have already installed a new toner cartridge and restarted/power cycled the printer and the problem persists. I am at a loss. Please help.

The Light on the printer flashes for lots of different errors. It may not be the tomer that is the problem. I have attached the error light document that tells you what your specific light patern means.

I just got an apple tv and it dosen't work at all. I tried to use the home share feature with my iMac and both devices don't see each other, yet they are o the same network. I am not using a apple router. I tried updating the apple tv to see if that would resolve the issue but now the status light just blinks rapidly. Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
There may be third-party software that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting a TcpWindowSize entry into your registry. Your default packet size being set incorrectly can cause these errors. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet size modification for assistance or follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
Verify that access to ports 80 and 443 are allowed on your network.
Verify that communication to albert.apple.com or photos.apple.com is not blocked by a firewall, or other Internet security setting.
Discard the .ipsw file, open iTunes and attempt to download the update again. See the steps underAdvanced Steps > Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw) below for file locations.
Restore your device while connected to a different network.
Restore using a different computer. -
AE won't stop flashing "amber"
My Airport Extreme won't stop flashing amber and it is no longer broadcasting its wireless network, which is bad news for me. All of the wired Ethernet router features are still working, as the device is attached to my cable modem and all network devices (i.e. my Mac Pro, BD player, DirecTV receiver) attached to the Airport Extreme via Ethernet are seeing the internet and working, but wireless is dead. Airport Utility cannot find the device, so I can't even do a manual setup, because that option is grayed out. I've tried restarting the unit several times, but to no avail -- it just restarts and begins flashing the amber light. What should I do? Is my AE's wireless functionality dead?
No clue why its doing it, maybe some corrupt settings?
But if you want to fix it, I would recommend doing a factory reset. To do that press and hold the reset button on the back for 10-15 seconds, until the light stats flashing very fast, then let go of the reset button and let the airport reboot.
That should fix your problems, only downside is that you'll have to set it all up again since after a factory reset all your settings get wiped out. -
LED won't stop flashing, even when there are no new notifications
The LED on my BlackBerry won't stop flashing, and I can't work out why. I have no new emails, messages, Facebook notifications, Twitter mentions, appointments/calendar events, and the LED didn't flash for new articles in the TIME magazine app any way. None of the other apps have anything to notify me of either.
I updated the OS some time ago, so I can't see that being the cause for the problem, which means I can not work out why the LED is still flashing, unless my BlackBerry is broken.
Has anybody else had this problem?
Running OS v4.6.1.310 (Platform 4.2.0.127)

Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, what color is the LED? Can you verify that the LED coverage indicator is disabled in Options -> Screen/Keyboard? Is the LED flashing red continually or does it stop for periods of time?

My iphone 4 was on ios 5.0.1, then a few days ago I upgraded it to ios 6.1.4, then the apple logo won't stop flashing. Can anyone help to resolve my problem? Thanks in advance

WebCam Go Plus: red light doesn't stop flashing
Hello,
I am experiencing following problem when trying to use the WebCam Go Plus as a digital camera: I take a picture, and the red light indicating that the picture is being written to memory ("busy") doesn't stop flashing. Trying to turn off the camera deosn't work either, and the only way to stop everything is by removing the batteries and starting over again. No picture is written, though. Previous images have been downloaded, so it is not an "disk full" issue.
Any ideas will be highly appreciated (specially by my little daughter, who is trying to take the camera on a trip).

HP C3180 power light won't stop blinking after wireless print (from PC)
I've raised this issue in an earlier post - but maybe with too much verbiage.
My PC prints wirelessly to a (raw Q on a) MAC which is USB-connected to an HP Photosmart C3180. When I use the driver for the 3180 on the PC (either with an LPR port or an internet port), the jobs are created with an "error" status, and never leave the PC.
I've found, however, that the HP 550C driver (and a generic HP Deskjet) will work fine on both the LPR port and the internet port. The printing is exceptionally fast - but the power light continues to blink after the job is finished. I have to press the "cancel" button on the printer console to stop the blinking. Some sort of "handshaking" between the printer and the driver software is not happening, apparently.
I also print from the Mac to the 3180 (foomatic/hpijs C3100 driver, usbtb backend) - and everything works fine.
Any advice/information will be welcome.Sorry!! much ado about nothing. Since the HP Photosmart is not a PS printer, I have to use (for example) an Apple Color LW 12/660 PS as the driver on the PC (NOT a Windows driver) in order to print over the wireless network to the Mac.
Phew! Printer software makes networking look like a piece of cake!

AS 3.0 - Button Won't Stop Flashing in SWF Preview
I'm in the process of switching from AS 2.0 to AS 3.0, so apologies if this is really obvious....
I am modifying/updating an old template for a client and am inserting customized navigation buttons. One is a play/pause button and I was able to swap the old buttons for the new in the library and show them on the stage with no problems. When I export to swf to preview the movie, the new button just flashes repeatedly between the different "play" and "pause" states (up, over, etc).
I checked to make sure I didn't change any names of the buttons or movie clips. I tried inserting stop(); but it doesn't work...probably because I'm not putting it in the right spot. When I select the button, it has "up, over, down, hit" in the Timeline and says the selection can't have any actions applied to it.
Advice? I hope this is a very simple oversight on my part!
I am using CS4 and AS 3.0.I found the problem. I had converted some buttons into graphics so that when I stop on the intended keyframe the over/down highlight would remain constant.
But I did't change the default loop setting to single frame - so it was looping through all the states. Ultimately I ended up using movie clips as buttons and using code to keep them in state I want. -
LaserWriter Pro 630 two solid orange lights won't turn green. Put in new toner and test page does print. Any ideas?
The warmup stage does not seem to go all the way through its normal startup noises and the printer does not get hot.

I have imported a 4 second SWF into Captivate 4. I want it to play through once then stop on the last frame of the SWF. The SWF has a stop embedded on the last frame. The problem is; it won't stop, but keeps on looping right through the SWF stop. I tried placing a 'Next' button with a "Pause after n seconds" on it and used varying intervals from 1 to 5 seconds for the pause to take effect but, you guessed it, the SWF just keeps on a-rolling along. The screen does stay put and does not continue until the 'Next' button is clicked - but I'm trying to get the SWF to play nice, and it won't!
It seems to be the opposite problem to this post > http://forums.adobe.com/thread/607598 where they want to keep it looping, but it stops instead. Unfortunately there's no answer in this post so I can't reverse engineer a solution!
Caviat: A colleague created the swf to my spec and I'm assuming they did in fact put the stop where requested. Will post an update if they did not do this.Your mismatched timing might be due to the frame rate of the Flash SWF not matching the frame rate of the Captivate movie.
Check with your Flash developer again to find out what the frame rate was (e.g. 30 frames per second). Get him to match it to the Captivate project.
The issue with Flash animations needing to be on the main timeline has been documented before in these forums. It wasn't an issue in Cp4 but has become so in Cp5 because the new architecture actually loads all the animations at the beginning of the movie. This means that by the time you reach the slide where you want the animation to play, it's already played long before. This only affects SWF animation that have buried the animation inside a symbol, which is what Flash developers often do to make it all easier to resize and reposition as needed. When the animation is happening one level down from the main timeline, you can trigger this animation to work properly in Captivate 5 by using some ActionScript in the Flash animation's main timeline. Here's how:
Create your animation as a symbol on a single keyframe so that the animation happens on the level one level down from the main timeline.
Give the animation symbol an instance name (e.g. Fred).
Add a new layer to the main timeline for ActionScript. You're only going to need two frames on the main timeline with keyframes on each one.
Put a stop(); action on the second frame so that it stops the main timeline.
On the first keyframe put this code or similar: Fred.gotoAndPlay(1);
What happens here is that when the Captivate SWF loads it will load your animation and start playing it but it will be stopped at the second frame of the main timeline. When it gets to the slide where you want it to play, it will begin playing again, hit the first frame and then the AS code there will tell the Fred animation to play from its first frame. Hopefully there will be a stop action on its own timeline to terminate it as well.
I've had to use this trick several times when trying to use the Right_Mark and Wrong_Mark tick and cross SWF animations that come with Captivate 5. They've obviously not been updated to work properly since the change from Cp4.

When starting the computer I get the dong but then it stops with three loud beeps as the light in the front flashes in line with the beeps. The beeps repeat till switching off

Flash cs6 debugger won't stop on breakpoints - productivity killer bug
hey all
help me before i punch the screen out of frustration!!!
Flash cs6 says "Breakpoint not set; No executable code at..." and won't stop at the breakpoint although i checked everything (believe me i did). I also googled for answers.
This is a bug since it comes and goes randomly (mostly comes, rarly goes).
The actionscript side on my project is very large - so you may not be able to reproduce this yourself. (i suspect this is something to do with a lot of actionscript, memory stuff - like code completion problems).
Is there anyway to clear some kind of FLA metadata that might hold the debugging info?
thank you!!!Hi Amy, thanks for showing concern. No, there were no such scenario with my SWF since I had created a new AIR type of project with Flash CS6 installed. I don't know how really we can explain this problem (debugging) with a newly installed software; but simply the debugger never worked with the installation, so I just removed and moved to MacOS where it was working at least.
I am not sure even if the Flash CS has some dependencies - if I consider its the issue with my PC (installation). -

I see you are experiencing toner issues. I would like to help.
I would recommend performing a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I would then recommend this document on 'Install Black Cartridge' Message Displays on the Control Panel or Blinking Toner Light Displays on ...

NEW Hard Drive Won't Stop Spinning
I just replaced my Maxtor 180Gb SATA HD with at Maxtor 500Gb SATA HD and the new drive won't stop spinning and there's a red light on inside the tower. Any ideas of how to fix this?
Is there any thing on it yet, or just freshly installed then booted up & getting ready to install?

Bug? Zooming out via key shortcut won't stop when zooming out (Mac OS 10.7.3)

while I created a new document, I started to zoom in/out particular areas of the images using the key shortkuts <space>+<cmd> for zooming in and <space>+<cmd>+<alt> for zooming out of an area.
While this works fine in my Photoshop CS5, it troubbles in CS6:
Once I want to zoom out (via <space>+<cmd>+<alt> and a left-mouseclick), the zooming won't stop until it reached the smallest zoom level, instead of zooming out just a step. It however works, while I zoom in (via <space>+<cmd> and a left-mouseclick).
I'm so used to this shortcut since a cupple of versions now (it also works in other programms as well) and it is realy annoying.
It also happens that when I press <space> and another key (e.g. to zoom in/out) that Photoshop CS6 does sometimes not release the hand-tool, that I use to move the canvas via holing <space> and left-mouse down. Pressing <space> again solve this. However, I would exspect the hand-/move-tool only to work while <space> is pressed.

No, works fine. Although its not the best alternative, because my method allows to "specify" the zooming region (due to the mouse position)

I did do a reset, but it didn't influence the "bad" behavior.

None that I know of. Couldn't find any. But if so, shouldn't it affect the zooming in as well (which isn't the case)?

I tried both: enabled it causes the mentioned "error" behavior. Disabled the zoom out stops but its remarkably unresponsive: Once I use the key combination and click the left-mouse-btn it takes seconds before the zoom out happes; the process _feels_ quite long.
