will work or no?

The specs (here) indicate that your machine has a PCIe x16 card slot that will take the card in your link. I do not believe that the power supply will provide the juice you will need for that gaming card. I would recommend upgrading to at least 600W for running that gaming card at peak performance.
I work on behalf of HP, but my opinions are my own.

  • MacBook Pro 15.4 inch display 8gb memory and 750 gb hard drive?

I wanted to know if the MacBook Pro 15.4 inch display 8gb memory and 750 gb hard drive would be a good computer for ease of use, fast Internet connections, good graphics, good memory, and some gaming. Maybe one or two games

    that works.......
as for the fast internet connection - that all depends on the service plan you have with your ISP.

  • VIDEO CARDS QuadroFX4500 and RADEON  X1900 won't work

I have the TWO VIDEO CARDS AND CAN'T RUN VIDEO WITHOUT IT GETTING STUTTERING VIDEO. LOOKS LIKE NOT ENOUGH MEMORY. WITH JUST THE 4500 ATTACHED TO 2 30 INCH APPLE MONITORS I WOULD GET A HORIZONTAL LINE ABOUT 1/3 FROM THE TOP OF THE SCREEN. SWITCH DVI'S AND IT APPEARS ON THE OTHER MONOTOR, SO ITS NOT THE MONITORS. USED THE HARDWARE DISC AND THE LINE SHOWS UP WHEN YOU START. HAVE HAD THE $500 REPLACED TWICE BECAUSE APPLE SAYS THATS THE PROBLEM BUT THE LINE STAYS. NEVER MIND I CAN'T CONNECT THE OTHER 2 30 INCH APPLE MONITORS WITHOUT EVERYTHING SLOWING DOWN. I HAVE ONLY APPLE SOFTWARE ONE THE 07 MACPRO WITH 6GIGS OF DRAM AND TWO HARD DRIVES 500 GIGS AND 750 GIGS and one 750 external Seagate hard drive.

Sorry, didn't realize till later,I wasn't looking. No they never worked together. Actually I first had a nVidia GeForce 7300 GT from apple to go with the 4500, but it still sits in a box, was completely incompatible or pooched???. The Quadro 4500 always gave me a horizontal line when only two 30 inch Apple monitors were hooked up.Its been replaced a couple of times, still the horizontal line remains. Recently I acquired the X1900 thinking the dual dvi output could run one more 30 incher and one single link out to my 55 inch plasma(a dream I once had). I can get slideshows from Aperture to run, but no full screen video. It slugs along skipping every few frames. My 2 year nightmare continues. Thanks for your inquiry though maybe you know what is or should I say isn't happening. This is my second computer since my Commodore Vic-20. The first one was a G5 fully loaded that blew up 3 weeks after its arrival and finally was returned for my current Macpro. Thank you Applecare! I'm a very frustrated Newbie.

  • New HD, HD cable, and re-installed OS, and several applications not cooperating: what to do?

    MacBook Pro mid/late 2009, 13", 10.6.8
    Hi, all.
Thanks in advance to all who can point me in the right direction!
Although this (may) sounds like a software issue at the outset, I have been directed to this (OSX 10.6) forum.  [My original post is under the iLife/iPhoto forum and the thread is titled "iPhoto 8.1.2 doesn't work after reinstalled the OS 10.6.8?".  If you are interested to see a couple brief comments of what others have had to say, check it out.]
In short, I have two applications (Mail and my precious iPhoto) that give a lengthy "Problem Report" when I attempt to open them, and two applications (Launchpad and Notes) that tell me I can't run the application with this version of mac OS.  I have attempted to re-install Mail and iPhoto with no success and I have re-installed the OS (10.6 disc, 10.6.3 disc, and Software Update's 10.6.8) with no progress towards fixing Mail and iPhoto.
    Here is the story:
iPhoto will not open and gives the error message ("Check with the developer to make sure iPhoto works with this version of Mac OS X.......")--as does Mail.  (On another note, Launchpad and Notes, when attempting to open, give a me a, "You can't use this version of the application Launchpad with this version of Mac OSX.  You have 10.6.8.  The app requires 10.7 or later."  Although, I do not use Launchpad or Notes, it would be nice to have all applications working again.)
I have tried reinstalling iPhoto (carefully, i.e., removing the old app and pkg files) with no luck.  Note that in this case, I am using an iLife disc.
Hardware story:  My computer had a plethora or issues several months ago--eventually not booting--I left it alone for a couple months while using a friend's computer in the interim.  Eventually I had my laptop diagnosed as a having a bad HD.  I replaced it myself (upgrading to a Western Digital, 7200 rpm and 750 GB).  I had to troubleshoot when it came time to erase the new HD and ended up replacing the HD cable--then my computer was up and running (thus, although I have not checked experimentally, my old HD may actually have been OK all along).
Software story: I reinstalled my OS (10.6 from disc, 10.6.3 from disc, 10.6.8 using Software Update).  Then restored using the most recent Time Machine backup prior to my computer initially having "a plethora of problems"--TM backup from external HD.  If you've read all this, you are now caught up.  My computer boots like a charm, Firefox works, Microsoft Office applications work, even iTunes works.  But my precious iPhoto, Mail, and a couple other applications will not cooperate.
Here is the "Problem Report for iPhoto" minus all of the lines below "Binary images" (Note that the Problem Report when attempting to open Mail is more or less the same, e.g., the Dyld Error Message is the same):

  • PC build and Disk Setup for a Pro-Wannabe

    Hi All,
I know everyone asks these questions and I thought I will not but, when you spend more than $3000 it feels their is no "Harm" in asking the question (but hopefully their will be Harm somewhere in the comments).
So, after waiting for the Mac Pro update for 2 years (just to fool myself that I may buy it), I have decided to move from the Mac OS to Windows after 4 years. I was only using a Macbook Pro to edit and feel now have the suitable experience to begin working on an actual machine.
If you ask my budget, I didn't have any so I went on a buying frenzy with my credit cards and will hopfully be driven to work harder to pay it off .
Here are the parts I have bought:
CPU - Intel 3930K (duh! I don't see a point in waiting for the 4th Gen)
    Mobo - ASUS P9X79 Pro
    RAM - GSkillz 32GB (8GBx4) @ 1600MHz 9-9-9 (as 3930K is limited to 1600MHz and 1.5V)
Will buy this same set around end of this year to make it 64GB if I feel AE would eat it.
Cabinet - CoolerMaster Storm Stryker (was buying HAF-XM but could not resist the looks of this).
PSU - Seasonic 860W Platinum Plus (Thought 1k is overkill and 750 not future proof, pricey though)
Storage (I thought I will get 1 cheap SSD and 1 Hybrid but then I read all the threads and went crazy)
    Samsung 840 Pro SSD- 256GB - 2 nos.
    Samsung 840 (nonPro) - 128GB - 2 nos.
    Seagate 7200rpm HD - 2TB - 3 nos.
Monitor (just fyi) - Dell U2412 (planning to buy ASUS PA '13 or Dell Ultra '13 24" after few months)
.. finally GPU - Not bought yet
I ordered the ASUS GTX 680 4G as 780 was too costly
but then I read the actual successor to 680 is 770. So I cancelled my 680 but the seller still has not confirmed, just hoping they cancel. Then it turns out 770-4G is not yet sold in my country (am not from the US) so I may import from US (surprisingly importing from Amazon with duties costs the same as probable street price in my country). So I will mot probably buy a..
    Gigabyte GTX 770 4G
So, Question 1> Any comments on the component list?
As I plan to build this on my own, have not thought of overclocking as I am not a geek and feel I should first get comfortable. Fair thought?
And hence I have not bought any additional Fans or Coolers.
And now for the Question 2> disk setup! Can you please fill the blanks or suggest alternatives.
This is what I have planned:
    C: > Samsung 840 Pro 256GB : OS and _____ ??
    D: > Samsung 840 Pro 256GB: Previews and Renders and/or ____ ??
    E: > Samsung 840 128GB x 2 RAID-0 : Footage and ___ ?? (the 128GB version has slowest write speed so assigned it to footage)
    F: > Seagate 2TB x 2 RAID-0 HDD : Exports and General Personal Files (like Docs, Music)
G: > Seagate 2TB : Dedicated solely as Backup Drive for crictical data at any time (which for me can be on any drive, that is why no RAID3/5 I feel)
And I plan to use my old external USB2/Firewire/USB3 external drives (500GB/1TB) for manual backups.
I can buy 1 or 2 more 2TBs (not SSDs) if it is really critical for some configuration but not anything more.
Usage: I shoot only DSLR footage and use PPro and AE CS6. I have till now been using a 2009 17" Macbook Pro with an SSD. And could have been spotted sometimes using a Class 6 SD Card on a USB 2 card reader being used as the Media drive (Ouch!). I feel (a) now I have the skill to justify this as many times I end up not implementing an idea in AE as my machine just won't budge and (b) I plan to buy the BlackMagic Pocket Camera to learn capabilities of RAW media. Like many I do hope to make an indie in the next 2 or 3 years but I hope I can employ services of a professional who should at least give me respect when he looks at my machine
If you have made it till here, thanks for your time. Waiting for your comments.
    Cheers!
Ps: And yes I am planning to subscribe to CC as its cheap for a CS6 owner. And then after 1 year will judge if I will continue with CC once upgrade pricing goes (hopefully yes as I wait for an extensively GPU using AE version soon).

Regarding question #1, build list, and question #2 drive setup:
    everything looks great except...
add a good cpu cooler; lots of good choices out there including but not limited to: budget: Cooler Master 212 EVO, high-performance air: Noctua NH-D14, simple liquid: Corsair H110, full water cooling: many options (full water cooling is a pain to plan and build, but ooooohhh so quiet!)
RAM: suggest go for 64GB at the onset rather than trying to add RAM later
definitely plan on overclocking - 4 Ghz is a walk in the park and very safe since you aren't totally comfortable with overclocking, and the performance gain is rather significant for renders, etc.
One SSD is plenty to get started - 256GB would be good for OS, programs, as well as providing some room for AE and photoshop caching
2 drives in RAID 0 would work pretty well for all projects, media, etc. If you really want to spend more in the drive area up the RAID to a 3 or 4 drive RAID
Suggest putting your backup drive in a hot-swap tray so you can remove it and provide off-site backup capability
    Regards,
    Jim

  • What exactly is "other" and why does it take -up so much space?

I'm trying to free up some space on my iPad2, and see "other" is usiong 6.7 gigs..  What exactly is "other"?

Actually "other" is app data, Safari Bookmarks, calendar entries, text messages, notes, Safari History, email messages and things like that - stuff associated with apps - but not the apps themselves or any other media.
Your "other" should be nowhere near 6.7 GB. You had a corrupt sync. You can try restarting, the iPad, rebooting it by holding down on the home and sleep buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears or unsync all photos and music and then resync all photos and music.
However, many times you need to restore the device to factory settings and then restore from a backup in order to reduce that bloated size. That should probably be no more than 1 GB and more likely between 200 and 750 MB in total size.

  • Where are the 270 GB of files that Finder, Disk Diag, and Disk Expert can't find?

Late 2008 MBP 2.8 C2D running Mavericks and 750 GB replacement WD HD.  This is what I see when checking storage.  Finder and disk utlitities don't see anything that big, only the files that correspond with the typed files below (Audio, Movies, etc.).
Under Mountain Lion the picture below was the same looking except the size of the yellow "Other" bar was 0.0 GB.
Given the size of the files, I think they may be from when I was saving EyeTV content on my HD.  I moved everything to an external drive and manually searching for EyeTV files finds nothing.
I'm planning on migrating to 240 GD SSD soon and don't want to run into space problems.
    Thanks in advance!

Can't seem to post screenshot so no attachment.

  • Whcih external hard drive works best with macs and time machine

I'm looking for an external hard drive preferably at circuit city since I have $100 in gift cards.
I'm looking at the Acomdata pure drive 500 and 750
The Western Digital Mybook essential edition 500 and 750
    Simpletech 500GB
    Simpletech redrive 500GB
    or Maxtor 500GB
I don't which one to pick as there are negative reviews on all of them with crashing after only one year. If not any of these what other one to pick, would like it to be from circuit city, not matter what your opinion might be of them.
I know about the Lacie drives and the G-drive but those seems expensive and only from apple store. I have airport extreme so only need usb connection so i don't care what other ports it has.
It seems like a really tough decision and looking for some help.
    Let me know

    Hi,\ not sure how this translates to the USA market (brand names) Im UK;
But I've been using a Lacie external hard drive for ages without problems.
Not so sure about Western Digital, - I've heard some bad reports.
I posted a request myself, and Lacie came back highly reccomended, so thats why I chose them.

  • 520 & 750. nothing is impossible

I wanna know why every time I buy inks, like74X  colour or 74X black, it says i can print 520 pages and 750 pages but in my experience every time they can only print no more than 100 pages?
One pack of A4 paper contains 300 sheets, and one pack can cost me like 4 colour and 3 black. WHY?
I dare not print anyting at all     because generally after I print no more than 10 pictures(not full size A4 pictures) with a new colour ink, computer will surely  tell me there is only 80% ink remain.
I wanna know how to print 520 pages with one colour ink and 750 pages with one black ink?

The page ratings are based on an IEC standard as described here.  Photo printing uses more ink than plain paper text and graphics printing, see here for the photo ratings for the 75xl color.  There are some things you can do to minimize ink use:
Do not run unnecessary cleaning cycles.
Keep the printer plugged into a live outlet - turning the printer off from an external outlet can use more ink due to servicing.
If printing a number of photos it is better to print them as a batch rather than individually.

Am wanting to upgrade my 4yo Macbook but totally unsure what to get!! My one has 2gb RAM and 320HD and 2Ghz and does lag at times. HD often hits 300GB used but I do need to clear up some pics. Main uses (aside from mail and web) is Lightroom and iMovie. Dont use Adobe PS yet but may well do in future.
I am confused by chips - something like a 2.9 dual core i5 compared to a 2.4 quad core i7... what is the difference? Is a slower quad core better than a faster dual?
Budget wise I am flexible, ideally want to keep cost around £1500 but if I have to spend more I will. So, is the better graphics in the 15" that much better and useful for what I do?
I am torn between retina and non retina. Screen is nice but the big thing for me is the size and weight of the retina (plus in the store, the screen 'wobbled' more on non retina). Would I be better off with say a 750mb or even a 1gb HD or going for a smaller SSD and using Time Capsule as a storage place for stuff like music or film footage?
Tempted by a refurb, some just have a price, others have a saving added, does that mean anything? Also, is it likely to be marked or have scratches? Are they ex store machines?
I am also considering holding off until a new one is launched as I dont NEED one yet (but will at some point this year). Maybe the newer one will have the ac wifi, better battery life, cheaper ssd and the option of 16gb on a 13"?
    At the moment I think the ones i favour are the non retina 13" 2.9 i7 with 6gb RAM and 750 HD for £1249, retina 13" with 2.5 i5 with 256/512 SSD at £1409 or £1569, retina 13" with 2.6 i5 with 512 SSD at £1689 or possibly the 15" 2.4 i7 quad for £1799.
So, any ideas and tips to the above?

Buy a computer when you really need it. Technology advances so fast.
When you are ready to buy one, consider options available at that time and buy the latest
that is the best for you.
    Best.

  • Iphone and Jabra car charger

I have a Jabra Bluetooth which has a car charger with a USB connection. It's output is rated at 5VDC/750mA. Is this by any chance compatible with the iphone 3Gs? Will it damage the iphone if I try to charge with it?
    thanks

    Thanks
The voltage is 12 volt (input). I assume the output is what matters, and it is 5V DC, and 750 mA. I don't know how to find out what the iphone car charger puts out, since that would show if it's compatible. I didn't see any listing in the iphone specs.

  • Does a 500 GB SSD work in a Mac Mini (mid 2011)?

I have a Mac Mini (mid 2011), 2.5 GHz and 4 GB of memory.
The iOS app called MacTracker says that this model is "configurable to 256 GB solid-state drive or 256 GB solid-state drive and 750 GB (7200-rpm) hard drive".
I was thinking about buying a Samsung Electronics 840 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Single Unit Version Internal Solid State Drive. My doubt is: will it work in my Mac Mini or the maximum storage must be 256 GB? If it runs a 500 GB SSD, a Samsung EVO SSD would be a possible (or a perfect) choice?

The info from MacTracker brings up the options available in a Configuration to Order
at the time the product was new; so that tells people who may have found their unit
bought with odd specs, such upgrade may be due to a CTO Apple factory upgrade.
Other options that can work, of even higher spec capacity, can be researched in
such mac-centric sites as macsales.com and others who have a reputation for
customer service and quality products; many have information on their sites...
Doesn't hurt to ask. OWC macsales may even have an online chat. Info on how
to upgrade Apple products with later parts (out of warranty, etc) is available in
their page as well as iFixit.com guides. Everymac.com also offers spec info.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Upgrading internal HDD on Macbook Pro 13(Unibody)-Mid 2009

    Hi All,
I have a 160GB internal hdd on my MBP 13 which i am finding to be pretty low on space. So I am planning to upgrade the internal HDD. I did a lot of reading on the web and looks like there are 3 contenders:
    1. WD scorpio blue 500/640/750 GB, 5400rpm
    2. Seagate Momentus 500/640 GB, 5400rpm
    3. WD scorpio black -- 500GB, 7200rpm
My space requirements are not too high. Even 500 would suffice, but since the 640 and 750 give a better bang for the buck(GB/$), i am still contemplating.
Would 640/750 be an overkill resulting in slow performance, reduced battery life and noise ? If so which one would be the best choice considering performance is more important for me once we cross the 500GB limit.
    My parameters for performance are:
    - Speed should not reduce compared to my currently installed HDD(Hitachi 160GB).
    - Noise should be negligible, as it is now on my MBP.
    - Battery life should not reduce.
Can any one suggest which one I should go for? My budget is $100.

    Hi,
Not really a suggestion as such, but I have just installed a WD Scorpio Blue 500gb HDD myself. Unfortunately I've been having some issues with it and started a topic on this site to find an answer:

I thought you might be interested as it could affect your decision.

  • I want to sell my MacBook Pro-How do I find the exact model number?

    It's late 2011 i7 15 inch and the specs I pull up show 2.4GHz MacBook Pro (MD322LL/A)
Except that i'ts when I click About this Mac it shows:
Processor  2.5 GHz Intel Core i7
    Memory  4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics  Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
    Serial Number  C0**********W47
    Software  OS X 10.9.1 (13B42)
    It also gives this info:
    Processor and memory
2.2GHz or 2.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with 6MB shared L3 cache; or optional 2.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with 8MB shared L3 cache and I know it's this and 750 GB SATA Disk
    4GB (two 2GB SO-DIMMs) of 1333MHz DDR3 memory; two SO-DIMM slots support up to 8GB
Basically, I'm wanting to sell it because I just don't need such an expensive Mac and I hardly ever use it. I bought it new in September 2012 and it's in mint condition. Since it was a model year behind, I only paid $1899.
I have the box but I'm out of town so I was just hoping to figure out what I want to do. I still have the original receipt, it has Office University (or whatever it's called) and a Magic Mouse.
Any ideas of where/how I should sell it? I usually use Craig's list but I don't think that's a great idea for this item. Also, how much do you Apple experts think I should ask? I'm addicted to my iPad 2 but it's on iOS 5 still because it's, well, you know...I like to configure my displays and icons and be able to free memory, etc. so I mainly use it. Thanks for any help! Much appreciated!

    <Personal Information Edited by Host>

    Carrie,
the information that is provided by About This Mac is accurate. What you have is a CTO (“Configure To Order”) variant of the MD322LL/A; thus, referring to it simply as a “MD322LL/A” does not uniquely identify it. I would recommend describing it as a “2.5 GHz 15-inch Late 2011 MacBook Pro with 4 GB of RAM and 750 GB HDD”, so that the buyer knows exactly what you’re offering. Make sure that the box, the other original accessories that came in the box, and the original receipt are included with the MacBook Pro; picky buyers (like me ) appreciate receiving all of those constituent components.
Note, however, that according to the Mavericks software license agreement, that because its installed version of Mavericks was originally downloaded from the Mac App Store, its copy of Mavericks is non-transferable; you will need to erase Mavericks and its recovery partition from the MacBook Pro’s internal disk before selling it. It would save the buyer some time if you would also perform an OS X Internet Recovery to restore its original Lion onto its internal disk before the sale.
To get an idea of what you should ask for it, take a look at online auction sites to see what other 15-inch Late 2011 MacBook Pros are selling for. You are likely to find more 2.2 GHz and 2.4 GHz models than 2.5 GHz models like yours, so you could add a premium of some amount to whatever the more common models are going for. If you live in an urban area, Craigslist could be used to sell it, as long as you and the buyer can agree on acceptable payment terms; finding a willing buyer might be more difficult if you live in a rural area.

  • Constantly Crashing!

    Hey everyone.
This is my first post on the forums because up until recently everything has been working great. Let me try to give everyone as much prospective and history as possible so you can better solve my issues.
I do some small time freelance work in Final Cut, mostly cutting together screen captures for a client that makes software training videos. The final videos are exported to medium quality animation settings so he can run them into Flash and ultimately post them on his website. The files I'm working with are a standard NTSC format, at 640x480 res. The typical video is between 3- 7 minutes long if that give you an idea of size.
My normal work flow is to finish all the editing first and then set up a batch export to Quicktime to send over the 30 -50 videos at once so I don't have to babysit my computer.
When I started doing this I was running Tiger with FC 5.01. Everything worked great! A little while ago I upgraded to Leopard and started seeing my system running a little slower and occasionally my computer would lock up and force quit when trying to do the batch export. I figured that I was having compatibility issues running the latest greatest OSX with an older version of FCP - so last week I bit the bullet, shelled out some cash and took home the upgrade for FCS 2. Eight install DVD's later I was excited to be able to function again and finally finish my current batch of videos for my client.
Boy was I wrong!! I immediately ran into numerous issues. Number one: EVERY TIME I opened Final Cut NONE of my preferences were saved and it forced me to reenter my serial number. Not a huge deal, but frustrating nonetheless. Thankfully I found a wonderful post on here that addressed that issue and it is taken care of. However, upon launching it still doesn't recognize that I've opened it before (nothing saved in the recently opened projects tab) and I still haven't registered it - Comcast screwed my internet on the night of the install. Typically this would not be a big deal because every 5th time the program opens it's supposed to ask if you want to register. However, if it doesn't remember that it has ever opened then it can't possibly count to five to ask if I want to register. Again, this isn't a huge deal, but that shouldn't be happening and it's a little obnoxious. So, that's problem one.
Problem two - It still has the same freezing issue with exporting large batches. So, I guess that means I spent the money for no reason which sort of hurts. No one likes spending lots of money to not resolve anything!
To make matters worse, I developed a new problem on top of that! So, problem three is that now occasionally when I drag a clip into the timeline, and EVERY TIME I try to just jump from once place in the timeline to another (for example from the beginning of the clip to the middle of it) I get the "pinwheel of doom" and FC crashes. This simply will not work!!!
I'm pretty sure my computer can't possibly be called a dinosaur yet, it's only a couple years old! I'm running a Dual 2 GHz PowerPC G5 with 2 GB of RAM and 750 GB of hard drive space.
If anyone has solutions to any or all of these problems I would love some advise!!
Thanks for taking the time to read this saga.

    Thanks for helping out guys!
In response to both of your posts:
Michael - I did do a disk repair and a permissions repair already and I run a program called Cocktail (very similar to MacJanitor) on a weekly basis.
I know, I should probably just upgrade the Ram to something a little more impressive than 2GB. Unfortunately I don't have the extra cash right now - especially since I just bought Final Cut! That will definitely be my next upgrade though. I guess it may be coming sooner than I thought....
John - You are correct, I only did the upgrade and install when I updated to Leopard. Since I did a complete install of the Final Cut after the OS upgrade, I would have figured that would been fine. I may have to go back and try again though if nothing else works.
I tried deleting the preference file and that worked perfectly! Thanks for solving that problem!
Also, after I registered I ran a software update and got a Final Cut 6.0.2 (thanks for listing that in your specs John!) and installed of the other Pro App updates. That seems to have helped the situation a bit. My timeline issues seem to be sorted out and working just fine now, however it still doesn't want to export.
I'm starting to think there is some sort of problem with the particular videos that I'm trying to export. My original project was a total of 380 videos for about 12 different programs. I managed to export (before the upgrade) 350 of those videos. I'm down to the last 30 and none of them will go peacefully. Possibly not-so-coincidentally all of the remaining videos are for the same program and were originally captured by the same person. Although I doublechecked my settings and they are all the same these videos will not export to Quicktime.
Just to test further, I tried exporting one of the other videos, that previously worked, a minute ago and it worked just fine. I then tried to re-edit one of the bad clips (now that I can use my timeline!!) and although I was able to edit it, the video locked up again during the export.
I'm starting to think the isn't really a problem on my end.....
    Thoughts?
