I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR THE ANSWER TO MY OTHER QUESTION, BUT I STILL CAN'T GET FIND THE DRIVER FOR THAT CD PLAYER.   I HAVE AN HP PAVILION 6475Z WHICH HAS WINDOWS 98 IN IT, AND I JUST FIGURED THAT I HAVE TO INSTALL A CD PLAYER THAT IS CLOSE TO THE SAME AGE AS THE COMPUTER IS THAT TRUE? I AM CURRENTLY TRYING TO INSTALL THE ACER 620A317 MADE IN 1997
   PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS TOWER I AM AT THE END OF MY ROPE, AS I SAID BEFORE IT WAS GIVEN TO ME FOR SOME COMPUTER WORK I HAD DONE AND, I HAVE SET IT UP FOR MY NEIGHBOR WHO HAS CEREBRAL PALSY SHE JUST PLAYS CARD GAMES ON IT AND NEVER GET ONLINE. I JUST CAN'T LOAD ANY NEW GAMES FOR HER.

However, sometimes computers can have minds of their own. Also, here is a guide to actually install the drive into the computer.

I have downloaded the latest pages update on my iPad, but my iMac still has Pages version 4.3, and I cannot find out how to update it on my desktop. When I try to send something from my iPad pages via email to be opened on my desktop in Pages, it won't open in Pages. I get a message that it can't be opened because the version is too old. I sent the document as a PDF and it worked. But I want to be able to use Pages back and forth. HOw do I update the Pages version on my desktop iMac?

The file format used by the iOS versions of the iWork apps can only be read by the new iWork apps on your Mac - i.e. Keynote 6, Pages 5 & Numbers 3. Those versions for the Mac require Mavericks, OS X 10.9. The "too old" error on a Mac comes if you are trying to open an iWork '08 or earlier file in the newest apps. If you do have the newest apps you can open the files from your iPad.
If you can't or don't want to upgrade to Mavericks & the newest iWork apps your best option would be to export/share the files from the iPad to a type an older version of iWork can read such as Word, text, Excel, etc.
Or contact AppleCare. They made this mess, let them fix it.

if its anything like my Sony, theres a button top left corner that upon each press i get an audible bleep and the AV inputs come up on screen, i then cycle down to whichever input i wish to select!
in case your remote is different, the button on my remote has a square with a slightly smaller square just overlapping the first square.

I I cannot find out how I used my free Icloud storage space.

I use a Book Mac, an IPad and an IPhone and I am not so sure HOW I syncronize among the maschines, especially fotos.

TS1717 itunes wont open, says its missing msvcr80.dll. I cannot find out how to get this fixed...

Looks to me like Apple's iTunes update isn't applying newer versions of:
Apple Application Support
Apple Mobile Device Support
These are built-in to the setup.exe. The consumer way of fixing them is a total uninstall of iTunes and the above packages. You can include Bonjour but I don't think that's causing the problem. Now when you install iTunes it gets the latest version of these.
More advanced users can extract the applemobiledevicesupport64.msi and appleapplicationsupport.msi files and run these if already at iTunes 11.1.4. Include the itunes.msi/itunes64.msi if it's an older version of iTunes that's broken. Doing this has repaired my clients without the messy/lengthy process described by Apple on http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376
