Copy Protection Error when doing a system recover - Satellite C655

I have a satellite c655 S5206. The computer seemed to have a virus as it would lock on windows and eventually wouldn't boot. I tried using the system recover option built in but it didn't work so I ordered the disk from Toshiba. When I tried to use them I got an Error 0x80030309 copy protection error. I though it was a corrupted or bad hard drive so I ordered a new one but I still get the same error when trying to install disk 1 of the system recovery process. Any help or explanation would be helpful. Thanks

Hi Models may differ in the way you use your recovery discs. You should read your user manuel to find out how to use these discs. Here's the basic way.
Using Recovery CDs / DVDs / Media
If you have created recovery DVDs/media for your system, you can restore your system from such media, if necessary. For example, if your original internal storage drive fails, you can restore your system to a new internal storage drive from your recovery DVDs/media. For instructions on creating recovery DVDs/media, see the How To: Understanding System Recovery Options + Creating / Purchasing Recovery Media article.
IMPORTANT: The recovery process deletes information stored on the internal storage drive. Be sure to save your work to external media before executing the recovery.
To recover your internal storage drive from recovery DVDs/media:
Make sure your computer is turned off.
Do one of the following: If your recovery files are on DVDs, insert the first recovery DVD into your optical disc drive. If your recovery files are on a USB flash drive, connect the USB flash drive to your computer.
Turn on your computer. When the initial TOSHIBA screen displays, press the F12 key on your keyboard. The boot menu displays.
Using the arrow keys, select the DVD option or the USB Flash option, depending on which type of media you are using, and then press the Enter key.
A warning screen appears, stating that when the recovery is executed all data on your internal storage drive will be deleted and rewritten unless the “Recovery of Factory Default Software with user’s data” option is selected. Click Yes to continue.
When the Toshiba Recovery Wizard opens and the “Selecting a process” screen displays, select Recovery of Factory Default Software, and then click Next.
On the next screen you may have recovery method options. The default and recommended method is to Recover to Out of Box state.
Follow the on screen instructions as you navigate through the system recovery steps.
The laptop will restart multiple times and install the needed components.

This is Related with my Hp Pavilion I3 Model i5-00B002tu, Which Came with Win 8.0 Pre-Installed,Problem is that Iam Trying to Load Windows 7.0 64 bit From Usb but at the end of the installtion it gives me the error "Windows setup could not configure windows to run on this computer’s hardware" i had tried loading the Drivers from "https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/22194" but the problem still exists, I need to install win 7.0 64 bit

The Intel link you posted doesn't work, so I don't know what you have tried.
See if this works...

Extract (copy) the files onto a usb flash drive without any folders.
With the flash drive and W7 installation media plugged into the machine, boot from the W7 installation media.
After you select the install now option, select the Drive Options - Advanced menu, then select the Load Driver option.
You should now see the storage driver files listed.
If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.
Follow the prompts and hopefully, W7 will install.

I am trying to set up two monitors on my Pavilion 6330f PC system 7 but doesn't identify DVI

I've tried to connect two monitors but it does not identify the VGA monitor connecte to the DVI port with an adaptor called aDVI-A M to SVGAf Adaptor. When I go to the Control Panel >type in Monitors> click on multiple monitors, it only identifies the VGA connected. How do I use multiple monitors without adding another video card?

Hi,
The problem could be on the adapter, you need a converter because DVI to VGA is from digital to analog. An adpater alone can't do this work.

Mac plus - system 6 images

hey guys,
i recently picked up a mac plus and have downloaded the system 6 images from the support section. unfortunately, when i use stuffit to try and expand the images, it tells me that "the stuffit engine was unable to determine the format"
any suggestions?

Please note that the Macintosh Plus cannot use 1.44 MB (HD) floppies. 800K (on DSDD/2DD diskettes) is the maximum size.
External USB floppy drives are not capable of handling the special 800K Mac format. Instead, a pre-1998 Macintosh computer with a built-in floppy drive will have to be used in order to create working 800K floppy disks from downloaded disk images.
The files at the Apple download site are encoded MacBinary (.bin). Usually, it is a good idea to keep this encoding unaltered until on the computer where the system disks are to be made. Once there, an appropriate version of StuffIt Expander can be used to decode the .bin.

Where can I find the set of windows vista system recover CD for Thinkpad-X200? TYPE(7454HT1)

My Thinkpad-x200's vista system was not good, So I wanted recovered it using blue button, and then my system breakdown. The service told me that I used tools to rebuild partitioned space. So it was my problem. But I didn't have the system recover CD, So somebody know, how can i do it?

In Xcode Applications, when want to add an image to an object like button, a number of default system provided image names are displayed in the drop down box like NSApplicationIcon, NSComputer etc.
Am just curious to know the type of these images? Where are these images located in the system?
Also which format of image (png, jpeg etc) is preferred for the controls?

If you examine the xib (as xml) you'll find that references to those images have an id like IBUISystemItemIdentifier. Since the images aren't packaged with the .app, I assume they're pulled in from iPhone OS at runtime.
That said, the Simulator needs the images too, but so far I haven't found them anywhere on my Mac. They could be in a database in the software that wants to emulate iPhone OS. Storing them that way in the device would certainly make sense.
Re your last question, the +iPhone Application Programming Guide+ says this under Maintaining Image Quality:
+Use the PNG format for images. The PNG format provides high-quality image content and is the preferred image format for iPhone OS. In addition, iPhone OS includes an optimized drawing path for PNG images that is typically more efficient than other formats.+
Ooow... Good grief!! I just saw your question was about OS/X and my answer was for the iPhone. There's an active thread up in the Feedback forum about this very problem. Unless and until we can get separate forums, it's really helpful to specify the platform in the subject line. Some developers are unhappy that iPhone appears to have become the default, so it might be better if there wasn't a default. Anyway I'll let my answer stand in hopes it's helpful to someone.

how do i fix this problem on my HP Pavilion g6 (model X16-96072). when I power up I get a message about the cooling fan not operating correctly

The only fix is to get to the cooling fan and be sure it is free to spin (not blocked). If it is free to spin, then the fan is bad and must be replaced. The computer is smart enough not to turn on if there is not a viable cooling fan. Post back for specific instructions if you want to try to do it yourself. Not an easy job.

Hp pavilion dv6 recovery system with win 7 dvd image not found

Hello everyone, I have a hp pavilion dv6 I going to restore the operating system win 7 that I previously saved in an image of the system in 2 DVDs. I need to restore the entire computer because I do not want to lose all installations made within a year , including software installations regularly purchased online which do not have the original CDs . I tried to go in :
1 - "Backup and Restore Computer"
2 - Control Panel and select the " Restore system settings or your computer "
3 - then " advanced recovery methods "
4 - next page select " Use a system image you created earlier to recover your computer "
5 - At this point it asks me to do a backup, but I do not care because the computer is pretty much with the factory settings as has just returned from assistance hp and after ignoring the message I restart the computer in recovery mode expecting to reinstall the system with the image .
After a series of steps at the time to reload the image from the second DVD that I had previously saved , the computer can not find even one image to be restored where am I wrong?
