HP Pavilion a6352f PCIe MB152-15W Error

This morning my scheduled HP diagnostic tool ran as usual and showed the following error code for my PCIe slot:
MB152-15W
I recently installed a JMicron JMB36X sata controller in my PCIe slot which seems to be running fine. I have this card setup to mirror 2x1TB WD Green drives. I've check my windows vista device manager and there doesn't seem to be a problem with this controller. All looks ok so far.
I’ve researched this error code and from what I’ve read so far it seems to relate to a broken PCIe slot. Most of the posts I read show that the computer was sent back to HP for a motherboard replacement when under warranty. But my warranty is up now since the computer is about 4 years old and the PCIe controller seems to be working fine from what I can see.
So my questions are:
1) Should I be concerned or is the diag tool reporting something that’s not broken?
2) Is there another diag tool that someone can recommend that I can use to verify this error?
3) Should I continue to use this motherboard or should I be looking for a replacement?
4) If I do end up replacing my motherboard will my windows vista run on the new motherboard or do I have to reinstall it from scratch?

For what it's worth, I installed exactly the same card in my HP computer (an HPE-141f) a few weeks ago, and get exactly the same error when the HP diagnostic utility runs. I do find that using the esata inputs on that card makes my system unstable - on a few occasions the screen goes blank for a few seconds, and a message then comes up saying that my video card has recovered from a serious error. When I stopped using the esata inputs, but left the card in my computer, my system seems to be working perfectly. The only change I notice recently is that the mouse sometimes hesitates slightly as I move it across the screen, maybe nothing to do with the jmicron card.
Has anyone else installed the jmicron jmb36X card and run into any glitches on HP computers?
Any comment from HP on exactly what MB152-15W means?
Is this just an error message from an overzealous diagnostic utility that in the end means nothing?

Hello! I have HP Pavilion p6267c Desktop PC. Hardware Diagnostics reveal error code MB152-15W with the comments: "Fatal device error detected." I am out of warranty. I am unfamiliar with what this code means. Someone I talked to stated it is probably in need of a new video card or that it might be overheating. How can I know for certain? Would appreciate help. Did you add or change a video card?
Will your PC boot into Windows?
That error card refers to a PCIe slot read problem.
Remove the video card and temporarily use the onboard video.
Do you have another PCIe video card that you can use to test the PCIe x16 slot?

PCIE Slot Check error

My Mac Pro (10.5.6) is crashing. Console shows a PCIE Slot Check error.
Is this something I can fix by starting over again with a fresh Leopard installation - or is it a hardware issue?
I can't get the Tech Tools CD sold with my computer to work will not load. I ordered the new Tech Tools Pro 5 - but it still is not here.
I am stuck - a big mac crashing over and over again.
What is the PCIE slot check - and what should I do? The Mac Pro is under warranty - but the closest Apple store is 120 miles away.

I tried to load the Tech Tools disk that came with the MacPro - but it will not load. There is an update for the Tech Tools - but you have to have tech tools loaded first to use it - a catch 22.
I ordered Tech Tools Pro 5 - but it seems that they are very slow to ship.
I am waiting now with everything unplugged. What is "resetting the smu ? That is a new one to me - and I thought that I knew everything about Macs.
I am running out of ideas. I have a new 1TB HD also on order - and I had planned to put in a new HD - load a virgin set of Leopard with no other software and see what the MacPro does then.
I have 10 GB of Crucial RAM - and this machine has been working well for over 1 year. Only recently it has started to freeze and crash - and now it is constant.

HP Pavilion g4 2131tx, Hard Disk Error after Blue Screen of Death

Hello! I do not know what section shoud i post this problem, I apologize for it.
So my laptop is freezing for a days after BSOD. When I leave my laptop overnight for downloading torrents, I always receive the message "Windows has recovered from unexpected shutdown." when i woke up.
I already disabled all non-microsoft services, start up items and yet the desktop is still freezing right after the welcome screen but the welcome screen does not load too long.
The desktop freeze for more than a minute then it will go back to normal again until my laptop went to BSOD
and received this error from UEFI "Hard Disk Error." after restarting.
I ran the Hardware Diagnostic Test and I got the result:

Product ID: 65H69PA#UUF
I tried cleaning up registry and defragmenting disk and still no luck.
* My laptop is HP Pavilion g4 2131tx and still under warranty until June 2014.
* I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit Service Pack 1
* My RAM is 4gb with a processor of Intel Core i7
* My AV is microsoft security essentials
* I am using Advanced SystemCare for cleaning up registry and defragmenting.
I was wondering if I could change my hard disk while it's still under warranty.

See Page 39. It can take any 2.5 inch wide 9mm thick laptop SATA hard drive. They are industry standard, interchangeable.

This is a nice compromise with size, speed and expense. You could install an SSD for maximum speed. Post back if you need help with software or anything else.

Two PCIe-6537 read error and blue screen of death

Hi all
I am reading two PCIe-6537 at 20MHz sample rate acquiring all 32 lines each with externally supplied clock and external trigger.
When operating separately, no problem, but when two are read I get
a) on average of 25% of time error reading the data (time out error but happening before the actually time set by timeout, i.e. immediately after trigger) and
b) a blue screen of death after 1h or so of constant operation.
I have a feeling a) and b) are related and LV causes the system crash with so many errors. NI support seems to think otherwise.
I am using Dell Studio XPS 8100 and I have done all the firmware updates for the Chipsets etc. It has
not changed anything.
Changing single line to whole port reading does not change anything.
Any ideas what to try else?

I have looked over the service request you mentioned about acquiring 2 PCIe-6537 at 20MHz sampling rate on all 32 lines. In order to narrow down this issue, I think it would be best to try only acquire from both cards without doing any triggerring etc. Also when performing this test, I would only want to acquire from 8 channels on both cards to see if this reproduces it. If this works, we can slowly add more elements to narrow down what the issue is and make us more effective to solve the problem.
I also wanted to ask if you have tried this setup on another machine and if it worked.
Along with this, have you tried to create two Digital Tasks in MAX and try to acquire for the same amount of time to see if the issue reoccurs here? This would tell us if this problem is connected to the driver/computer or LabVIEW.

Hp pavilion g6-1301TX notebook recovery error;

My hp pavilion g6-1301TX notebook (s/n-[Personal Information Removed]) is showing error while taking recovery media creation. The recovery for 1st disc is successfully done but it shows error on second disc & whole process get interrupted.

Hi:
The only graphics driver you should install for your model is the AMD graphics driver which will install both the AMD and Intel GPU's.
If you installed the Intel graphics driver from your PC's support and driver page, that could be preventing the correct AMD driver from installing.

Lap top pavilion dv 7 shutting down Error 908 cooling fan not working

Since two days my HP pavilion dv 7 lap top has been heating up. I started getting warning notice error 908. One of the cooling fans apparnetly is not working properly and the system is shutting down.

If the operation has slowed you might also want to check the hard drive. Go back into the BIOS and look for the hard drive diagnostic test and run it. If the laptop came with Windows 8 you can also go into the "enhanced" diagnostics which is easier to use, with mouse support and such. Tap F2 as you power up instead of F10. You can run a whole bunch of diagnostics in there like memory and hard drive and DVD drive. Let us know the results.

Can't connect JAI CV-M1 camera to PCI-1409. Error: 'Can't lock on video source'

Hi, I had a customer that used that camera , the configuration files are available in NI site , but you need to connect NOT only the BNC but in addition you need to connect PCLOCK pin because Pixel Clock is not standard.

PCI-5122 Unregistered error -218802

Hi,
I am using the digitizer PCI-5122 (256 MB / channel) with Labview 8.2, NI-Scope 3.4 and windows XP.
Starting off with the NI example "niScope EX Multi Record Fetch More Than Available Memory.vi"
everything was running fine first, but now I encounter a problem with the following configuration:
sample rate: 20 MHz
external trigger (to start a record): 20 kHz
min record length: any (I tried 1 or 1000)
number of records: larger than 105,000 (the error does not occur for values < 100,000)
The error message reads as follows:

Hi Hanno,
The cause of this error is actually unrelated to its message. When
acquiring a record of data into onboard memory, the record's timestamp
must also be stored. There is a finite buffer on the host for these
timestamps, and it can only hold 100,000 values. If the board attempts
to store more than 100,000 records at once, an error will occur from
the overwrite attempt.
The solution to seeing this error is to use the timestamps on the host before they are overwritten. You can:
Fetch records while the acquisition is in progress
Fetch more records at a time, so that fewer are left in onboard memory after each fetch
Decrease
the trigger rate so that records can be fetched before their timestamps
are overwritten. If the trigger is not under your direct ontrol, you
can use the "Trigger Holdoff" property to throttle the trigger rate.

NI Sync PCI 1855 Initialization error

I installed the PCI 1855 board as well as drivers to my machine. I opened the examples provided and first recieved and error but found on the message board that I had to put in the correct name shown in the Measurement and Automation program. I put in this new name but now receive the error:
Error - 1074118646 occurred at niSync Initialize (IVI).vi
Driver Status: (Hex 0xBFFA400A) An error occurred while initializing the driver.
Not a very specific error and I'm having quite a time figuring it out, anyone have any ideas?

Xpower II Enabling PCIE GEN3 give error/debug code 94 on LED display

hey guys I have an issue when I enable the PCIE GEN3 in the bios sometimes it boots no problem, but most of the time the system hangs and I get error/debug code 94 on the LED display and couple times when it boots to windows the screen just flickers. But when I disable GEN3 runs good. I have two gtx 690's in sli one in pcie 1 slot and the other in pcie 5 slot also I have the "force enable gen3" from NVidia. I hope somebody can clarify if I can run the 690's in GEN3 PCIE 3.0 on this board. Thanx..

As PirateDog said it is a matter of luck and the individual sample/ combination of board and cpu. Some will work fine some don't. MY 3820 works fine on my X79A-GD65 (8D) and all Nvidia vgas I've tested (GTX670, GTX680 Lightning in SLI and without and GTX780). Still there is no guarantee. If it works fine with Gen 2 on your machine but won't with Gen 3 you're simply out of luck.

HP Pavilion P7 Win 7 Stop Error using HP Recovery disks on new HD

Hard drive failed on this computer. Got a new, same size hard drive and ordered the recovery disks from HP. Should be easy, IS easy with EVERY other manufacturer by HP. Put in disk one, boot to it. It starts, loads files, Windows 7 Screen, then Stop error, c000021a The initial session process or system process terminated unexpectedly...
The drive is fine. I tried formatting it. Same issue. I tried IDE, ACHI, Raid, same issue. I know there's some ridiculous trick. If someone could point me to it, that'd be great.

HP Pavilion, Monitor going to sleep error

When i start up my HP Pavilion, It shows a screen with no vga signal, and then it says "Monitor going to sleep" I do not know what to do? Please help.

I am having the same problem where my Desktop turns on, nothing comes up on the monitor and it goes to sleep fairly quickly, and the fan just keeps running in the tower and is louder than normal. The keyboard does not seem to be responsive and I checked to make sure my monitor is working. How would a bad graphics card make the fans keep running like that?

Pavilion g6 Laptop Windows 8 Error 0xc000000f

Clapton froze and had to be turned off. On restarting either the laptop would say that it had failed to start correctly and needed to restart upon which it would immediately switch off and start again, or would start but the screen remain blank. Occasionally the Recovery page would appear with the error message 0xc000000f. On pressing F8 the startup setting screen would appear, but when start in safe mode was selected the laptop would immediately close down and restart with a blank screen. On pressing F2 at start up I performed a system test which highlighted error UBUE01-6HU74G-MFPX1F-60X103. I do not possess a DVD or USB backup for Windows 8
This has occurred roughly one week after installing the windows 8.1 update, but the laptop had been working normally after installation.
Can anyone offer any help or advice?

The above failure error code referred to a Hard Drive short DST test.
