I bought a hp pavilion g4 2036TU and Serial No is {Removed for privacy} and Product No is B6U80PA#ACJ from Cyborg world, Laminton Road, Mumbai, 400009 and invoice No is 302431 and that is hpauthorized showroom. From next couple of days i got a problem: "charger plugged in not charging". due to some busy work i not able to register complaint at that day but i register my complaint on 25-08-2012. They i...
ssue a complaint no is HP Case ID #: 4681263011 but now current Case ID number is 4682402097 after i track lots effort they sent engineer Pradeep(9022181367) on site at 8-09-2012, and he didn't got any solution, and told me that he will order a battery as there are some problem in battery, but on next working day he called me and told that he sent a mail which contain a link to update BIOS and your problem surely resolved by that. But after using that link i updated BIOS but still problem and when i call to hpcustomer care they told me that your case is transferred to hp service centers, Vashi Navi Mubai. In between that I busy in my office work for some day and not get time to call again and again. And i got socked when I receive a mail from "{Personal Information Removed}" that your case is closed because your mobile is not reachable. But i all-ready contact to many time on
customer care and also registered my response at Support Case
Manager one day before their closing mail. After that on 15-09-2012 i again waist my full day on hp customer care to resolve my isuue ,
but mostly they tell me your call connected in non-techinacal department, and you will get callback within 2 hour, but i don't get call back always.
After done lots of call to many person, swati, rajani, pradeep, and to many customer agent they told that a engineer again visit to detect the problem, but i don't understand why they sent engineer again and again to only detect problem. And today another Engineer Mahesh Rahate(9702788581) visit and told that problem in motherboard and need to replace, These guy doing R & D on my system, they don't know what is problem. I attached receipt which given by their engineer. Their are not link between hp service center and hp customer care. Customer care agent told your case is referred to hp service center and they contact you, but don't tell any updated status.
I have one major question why i ready to repair my mother board in newly system, I only want brand new System or refund my money. I have lost my hard earn money (approx 40000/-) in this process. So I only want either refund of money or newly brand system only, no any replacement.
I have lost my whole month in that process and i also affected my work which affected by because of this system. It cost me more then 40000/- financially. So my one and last option to either refund my money or give brand new product, I don't want defected system replace again and again and my work suffer in future.
And about my experience of Hp product, its wrost, in both term product wise and also in term of after sales services. How they pass testing of product and brought in market a defected product. And not provided proper service. So as per my experience I never suggest to purchase any hp product as per my worst experience of hp service after sales.

    I have aj HP Pavilion dv7 that's almost 2 and half years old. For some reason my battery won't charge even though I have the charger plugged in. Right now the battery is completely dead but before it died I tried everything to fix it. I tried updating the BIOS but this website said my laptop was up to date. I tried a hard reset, I tried turning it on with the charger in and battery out. Usually the light next to the charger port is illuminated but now it doesn't come on. I hovered over the battery icon and didn't even say it was plugged in. It just showed how much battery was left. Could the battery not be receiving charge or is it my charger that doesn't work?

  • Format a number with a decimal to show the value but not the decimal point

    I have a value of 129.50 in the DB. I'm using the htp.prn() function to export this value to a txt file. I have the field padded with leading 0s (so it looks like 0000129.50)
    I need to keep the value for the .50 but don't want the decimal point to show up (so I need it to look like 000012950) but can't figure out how to make it keep the value for the .50 but not actually show the decimal point - any ideas? (APEX 4.0 11g)

  • PDF form submission problem - works in Acrobat and Reader, but not when embedded in browser

    Hello everyone,
    I am trying to submit a PDF form to an application server.
    To do this, I added a "Submit" button to the PDF, configured the server's address and submit format, and tested the button.
    I opened the PDF in Acrobat Pro, clicked the button, and my web application received the form in PDF format just as I wanted.
    To make it work in Reader, I had to extend user rights via Acrobat Pro, and then the form worked inside Reader as well.
    Up to here, everything went fine.
    Then I embedded the PDF in a web page (which will be the final scenario) and it all stopped working.
    The submit button doesn't do anything anymore, and no data is sent to the application server.
    I even tried switching from the form's submit mechanism to calling event.target.submitForm(...) in Javascript directly, but nothing changed (meaning this too worked only when opening the form as an "offline" pdf, but not when embedding it in a web page).
    Is there something I am missing? Something else that must be configured/activated in order to be able to submit the PDF when it is in the form of an embedded object?

    I tested the submit button both in Reader 9.3 and Acrobat 8 (which is the same I used to RE the PDF).
    Apparently I got it working too, but only by deploying my embedding web page to an application server.
    The final environment the PDF will be embedded into will be inside a web application deployed to an application server, so I guess my problem is solved.
    It didn't work only when embedded into a local test.html web page saved on my PC...

  • Problem: Flash movie plays on desktop, but not on website

    Hi, I'm new to Flash but have successfully created a Flash Movie that works using Firefox and Safari on my (iMac) desktop, but not after I upload to my website.
    I started with an flv video, imported it into an fla document along with a playback skin then published it creating an html file and two swf files. I've checked the html file, and it looks fine. The flv file is only 17MB and I've uploaded all 5 files to my site on:

    but all I seem to get is the control skin's "sending data" pole turning.The movie never arrives. I can get much bigger mpeg and wmv movies up on my screen very quickly.
    Can anyone suggest what the problem may be? I'm running Snow Leopard on my Mac (OX 10.6.6). I've tried using different videos but nothing seems to work.

    Thanks - I don't know what as2 is. I'm using Flash CS5. When I import the flv movie file, I'm asked to choose a skin and then a window comes up to tell me that the address of the flv file with respect to the other files will be minorswing.flv by which I take it to mean that all the files need to be in the same level of folder (directory). All five are in the same folder on my Mac and in the same folder on my website. I can't see how I can influence the program in choosing a different structure or outputting different html in the Publish Settings or elsewhere.
    I would have expected the relative structure of the files to be maintained between my desktop, where I can play the movie in my browsers, and the website, where I can't. I was surprised there was no "src" param name in the html, and I did try inserting one, but it made no difference, so I assumed the default for the html is to be in the same folder as the html and that the minorswing.swf file would contain information on the whereabouts of the flv file and the skin swf file.
    Is there a way of reading or editing the swf files to include an absolute url?

  • PDF Software causing problems in sending some PDF files but not all?

    I have been having problems sending some emails with PDF attatchments, they are being returned more and more frequently.  I've spoken to our server host and his answer is as follows saying that the problem is we are using "cheap PDF software" which is why I can send PDF's via Gmail or Yahoo but not through our server.  He suggest we buy a more expensive software or using Gmail for our important bids and invoices that are sent daily.
    My question is:  Is this even close to what could be causing the problem.  We are using Adobe to create our PDF's using our HP CM1410 or the Neat Scanner.  The Neat is a new device but the problem was ongoing before the Neat Scanner was added.
    Our IT person who set our network, hardware and software says it's the server and he's never heard of this being an Adobe problem.  So we're stuck not knowing who to believe

    There are several potential problems. It could be that your e-mail client is not encoding the PDF properly, but looking at it as an ASCII file (7-bit characters). The encoding is not as much of a problem anymore, but still a potential issue. The structure of the PDF that you are getting from the scanner may be corrupt. You can use some of the preflight scripts to check the integrity of the PDF. You might even try saving as a new PDF to see if the 2 versions work differently.
    It might be better to print the proposals you mentioned to the Adobe PDF printer and get better quality proposals than you would get with a scan. That would also probably avoid the problem you are having.

  • Problems with artwork displaying in iTunes but not on iPod screen

    I have iTunes (7.6) and a 5th gen, 80GB, firmware 1.2.3 iPod.
    Not infrequently, I find that a song's artwork is visible in iTunes, but not on the iPod itself. Sometimes the artwork is displayed simply as a black rectangle on the iPod.
    The converse situation also sometimes happens - when album info is retrieved from the CDDB, sometimes album artwork is also retrieved - but this is not displayed in the iTunes software, only on the iPod.
    And yes, the "Display album artwork on your iPod" checkbox is selected in iTunes.
    Does anyone have any more info about this?
    Are there any restrictions on image file formats? Maximum size? Type? Interlaced or not?
    Last time I asked this question I got zero response
    It is an irritating problem, cos there's no way to check what the artwork looks like on the iPod without disconnecting it from my PC :/

    I think the "sync" thing is irrelevant anyways.
    What I tried in the end was viewing my iPod in iTunes,
    navigating through to the check box for "display album artwork",
    UNcheck it, and click apply.
    At this point, iTunes said, with NO confirmation "Are you sure?" dialog, "DELETING ARTWORK ON iPOD" !! :-O I was not pleased
    However I then re-selected the "display album artwork" box and clicked Apply. The process took about 10 minutes to complete.
    When I then disconnected the iPod, the black squares were gone, and the artwork was NOT deleted (phew!) and was displaying correctly. I was pleased
    The amount of "other" megabytes on the display in iTunes for my iPod's contents had shrunk.
    I dunno what all this actually did - are the artwork files embedded in the MP4 files on the iPod? Or are they stored seperately and linked to them?
    I'm wondering if the "black square" thing is caused by an MP4 having an embedded image, and there also being a conflicting image file elsewhere on the hard drive? But this is just guessing.

    my battery (serial A1045 HQ344) gets really hot - unbearable on my legs even through trousers. has anyone else had this problem. as it is not covered by the recall program is there a way of alerting apple to it? i have read the other posts on hot batteries.

    Note your machine is under a 1 year hardware warranty when you buy it, and if you buy AppleCare before that one year is up, you can extend both hardware and software Apple coverage to 3 years from computer's purchase.

    Please help! I'm new to using tables in Dreamweaver. I built my page in Photoshop, sliced it and then opened it in Dreamweaver. It looks fine on my Mac but when viewed on a PC in IE it appears as though there are lines or gaps between the cells of my table. How do I fix this? How can I make sure this doesnt happen again?     Bad news - that action alone accounts for some significant percentage of the posts here on the forum.  The truth of the matter is this - the code that any graphics application writes is not usable for anything other than rapid prototyping.  This means it's not suitable for any production work.  Read this to discover one of the several reasons why that is the case -

  • Why does my iPhone 4 not charge correctly?  Problem is definitely with the phone and not charges or chords.  Phone will charge but very slowly and no icon comes on.  Computer and iTunes doesn't recognize it a being connected.

    My iPhone 4 quit charging correctly.  It does charge but very slowly and icon doesn't indicate it as charging.  I've checked cables and charges and the problem is definetily with the phone.  My car stereo no longer recognizes it as a device.  Neither does the computer.  The real strange thing to me is that when I plug it into my old klispch speaker dock it will play songs.  My battery life is good when it is charged so I don't think its the battery. I've tried resetting the phone and cleaning the charging port.  I'm out of warranty.
    Would disconnecting the battery possibly reset it from some glitch or is the charging port got some bad contacts?

    I checked with the Genius Bar.  It was a new dilema to the lady that was helping me.  She took it to a back room and worked on it but it came out the same.  She gave me some options for repair or credit for replacement.
    I just kept the phone and put up with slowly charging it by plugging it in and then turning it off.
    I couldn't transfer anything from itunes.
    I finally got fed up and bought a new charging port for $10. and a toolkit for $3.  I looked up a video on youTube for the replacement and did it.
    That solved all the problems, it was the charging port, must have been some bad pins or something because it patially worked.

  • Display problem in bridge on one computer but not on other

    Hi,
    I am having a problem with tif and psd, (& I see now it’s on some jpg) images displaying properly on my XP SP3 desktop. The thumbnail looks ok, but the preview image appeared rippled,
    and none of the original image is discernable.
    I’m using PSCS4 Extended. I’ve looked on my Vista Ultimate SP2 laptop and for the same program the images are displaying fine.
    The Adobe programs on the desktop are up to date .
    The images in question on the desktop appear fine in Photoshop or IrfanViewer. I have copied on of them to the laptop and in Bridge on the laptop it appears fine.
    I’m assuming that somehow, Adobe Bridge has got corrupted on the desktop.
    Is there any way to cleanly reinstall just bridge ?

    Nvidia GeForce4 MX 440- updated to last version available but that (ForceWare 93.71) came out 2006. This card is not made any more. I removed card from pc to have a better look at it. Took photos - Guy in Maplins warned a replacement may not fit into motherboard.
    Hard drive(s) free capacity
    On C drive (program drive) there is 28.5GB and on D drive ( where documents and pics are) is only 5.25GB. It was less than that but I moved a couple of GB over to C drive. (i need to sort outv removing some stuff.
    Memory 1.25 GB of RAM (maximum possible in my old machine is 1.5GB)
    Pentium (R) 4 CPU 2.00GHz 2.02GHz
    Actual version numbers of Bridge and Photoshop
    Bridge 3.0.0.464
    Photoshop CS4 Extended 11.0.1
    No you can't re-install just Bridge but you could try resetting the preferences by holding down the Ctrl key while it starts.
    Thanks I now tried this, and set  back to default settings, and cleared the cache. (Problem not resolved.)
    Maybe Ishould reinstall Photoshop, but copy my folders for plug-ins  so can paste back and plug-ins would still be there for Photoshop afterwards. Wouldn't they.. ? (Are there any other significant folders I should back up? I'm thinking -just delete the Bridge folder...
    I'm open to all ideas

  • Problem running Windows software on iMac but not MacBook Pro

    I just got an iMac 27" to replace my old iMac 24". I also have a MacBook Pro.
    I am using the same version of Parallels 7 and Windows 7 on both my iMac 27 and my MacBook to run Lotus Approach 9.8 (part of a SmartSuite package).
    Lotus Approach works fine on my MacBook (as it did on my old iMac 24), but when I open database files on my iMac 27, the database screen starts flashing (rewriting the screen in some endless loop) and the program becomes inoperable.
    I've uninstalled and reinstalled Parallels 7, Windows 7 and the Lotus software on my iMac 27, but that did not resolve the problem.
    I need to use the Lotus Approach software on my iMac 27 -- so I can convert the Approach databases to FileMaker.
    Any ideas about what the problem might be on the iMac 27 or what I can to to fix this problem? Is this a hardware problem, a driver problem, or something else?

    Brilliant suggestion! I checked all the display settings on my iMac 27" and confirmed they were the same settings as my MacBook -- until I checked the Window 7 screen resolution. Because of its size, I had expanded the screen across most of the monitor. When I changed the resolution to one suggested or configured by Windows, Approach worked fine. I've now tested it on quite a few of the settings, and as long as I let Windows determine the best resolution (on my iMac 27" it seems to be 2043 x 1276), Approach works like it should. Thank you!
