HP Pavilion g6 1335sr LDC screen flex cable

Could you tell me can I put LCD screen flex cable from HP Pavilon g6 1262 on HP Pavailon g6 1335sr?

Hi @VitalyS ,
Welcome to the HP Forums! I hope your enjoy your experience with us.
I see you are wondering if a the flex cable from a one g6 will work in another g6. It should work as most of the basic components for a series of models are the same. Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the g6 series. Page 67 has instructions on removing the display assembly should you need it.

  • Dv7-4180 lcd flex cable

Hi, Anybody know if the LCD flex cable for thew 4180eu is the same as the flex cable for the 4180us?  I'm in the US at the moment but my UK laptop needs a replacement cable.
As I can't get the UK version here, I was hoping that it's a standard cable across the versions.
    Machine is as shown:-

    Hi there @adeyfk
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
In answer to your question, I include the service and maintenance manual for the DV7 series:
HP Pavilion dv7 Entertainment PC - Maintenance and Service Guide
From that, on page 77 (or page 87 of 150, in the pdf file)
Disconnect the display panel cable from the display panel. The display panel cable is available in the Display Cable Kit using spare part number 605333-001.
    I hope this helps.

  • Broken T-mobile 8220 flex cable (hinge) need help finding parts

Hey folks. Nice forum here !
My 8220 was working nicely until I broke the phone in half (I had anger issues I guess ! ) Anyways the the flex cable is broken now. THe hinge is fine as I  snapped it back together and it operates normaly. The phone is otherwise in great shape. Are there readily avaible parts for this thing ? Should I keep checking ebay for a parts phone ?
I would realy like to fix this phone if possible ! Thanks in advance everyone !   Its a t-mobile btw.

You can try eBay. I would contact the guys at Horizon Wireless for the part, if they have it.
They have a good reputation in repair and parts.

  • Help! I need a flexi cable (Apple South Africa doens't want to sell me one)

    Hi All,
My machine (Powerbook G4 17" 1.67Ghz, las generation before switch to intel) is out of warranty, and the flexi cable connecting the top platter (containing the KB, trackpad and power button) to the main board is damaged (developed a small crack). I am told the only way to get a hold of a replacement cable is to order a whole new top platter from Apple. I talked to Apple Support South Africa (managed through the Core Group). Received incredibly poor service from them, Had to repeatedly call them for 3 days on end before even getting an answer out of them, calls are never returned, etc.
Is this true? Is there any way I can get this cable as a stand-alone part? Surely it must have its own part number? Please, I am desperate, it's patched together, but my machine is unreliable - loses power easily and abruptly.
thank you for any help or insight,
    Dawid

I managed a peek at a PowerBook service manual and there is no mention of a separate cable. Everything references an "top case assembly" with no separate listing for cables attached to it.
Here are some US-based Mac notebook repair and parts companies. Perhaps their tech support people can at least tell you if that cable is available separately:

  • Replacing Airport Extreme card (FLEX CABLE, GLUE?)

The airport was no longer working in my powerbook and I found someone selling a working card locally, however, it was from a 15inch which from what I understand does not use the same type of cable to connect it. (i.e. there is no flex cable glued onto the input) I peeled the flex cable off the non-working airport but have no idea how to put it on the working card, or if it is even possible. I was thinking maybe it is heat activated and the residual glue from the original connection can be reheated to use?

I'm already upgrading to 8GB of RAM and I'm planning on adding a Solid State Hard Drive since it will be a secondary machine. I really don't want to replace the optical drive too. At that point it's got new components in an old chassis with an old CPU.
I've been to the Genius Bar (back when I lived in a place where there was one in town) and they couldn't replicate the issue but as soon as I left it started up again. There are times when it holds the signal for a good hour or more or days like today when it's dropping it every few minutes. It's completely random.
No. This girl is going to go build her own PC with a fantastic GPU so as to kick some Diablo butt and the old Macbook Pro will only get used when I don't need it for anything serious. And I am most certainly not dropping another $2k + on a new MBP no matter how shiny they are! It's the end of an era as I've been using Macs exclusively for over 10 years now.

  • IPhone 5 won't vibrate, after replacing motor and flex cable!

iPhone 5 won't vibrate, after replacing motor and flex cable!  I made sure the contacts are lined up and touching.  When I put my ear right up to the phone and do something that should make it vibrate, I can hear something, but the phone is definitely not vibrating ( I watched the motor and it didn't move at all.

Apple will not touch the phone once it has been opened. Try to find a competent third party repair outfit to fix the damage.

  • New Audio flex cable, loudspeaker mode and heaphone mode swapped?

    Hi all,
I live in Australia and bought a 2g iphone a while back now and I sorted treated it a bit rough after a while. Eventually my silent switch stopped working so I bought a new back cover and a new flex cable which has the headphone jack power button, switch etc. My father who is a spray painter painted the iphone back and now I am at the stage of putting it back together. The first flex cable I bought worked however the headphone and loudspeaker mode were swapped. When the headphones were plugged in music and everything came out of the speaker however when no headphones plugged in there was no sound at all. I thought it was a faulty part so I ordered one from a new person. This now does the exact same thing which leads me to believe its the phone however when I plug my original back in it is okay so I dont really know what the ** is going on. Waiting for these parts is long so i am really sick of waiting. Should I get another one or what suggestions do you guys have.
I would just use the original however since I have broken the power button so it is useless.
Please help lol I need my phone.
    Cheers

Just to add to this after reading more posts, I have allready done all the obvious solutions, cleaned out the jack, blown it with a compressor etc. I have also checked the model number is the same as the original and it is which is 821-0449-09.
    I hope someone can help

  • Iphone Power Button Flex Cable Replacment.

Ok, so my sister has an iphone 4 and she droped it in water and she put it in rice, so after a day she took it out and it worked but the power button did not ( It would click and all) So, i took the phone apart and removed the power button flex cable and i just want to double check that if i replaced that the power button flex cable that it would fix it? NOTE: All water sensors in the phone are still white so no water acessed the motherbord. Thanks, Colin!

It is very problematic to find such parts. With a little bit luck you can find such cable on eBay. Check it out.
P300 models in general have similar parts so you can also use such cable offered for Satellite P300 too.

  • HP Pavilion Elite m9065uk - Pink Screen Freeze and crash

    Hi,
Hopefully someone here can help me. I have a HP Pavilion m9065uk Desktop and I am  having problems and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.
Over the last month or so I have been having a problem with it the PC crashing, at first it started when booting up, it would get as far as the Microsoft loading bar then just a black screen and nothing. I would reboot and it would boot up fine, but then started freezing with a pink screen, then after a few minutes either go to black screen or nothing happening at all. Sometimes it starts to restart up then fails to start and startup repair comes up but sometimes fails.  I changed the power supply back in March, but I dont believe if this has anything to do with it, the supply is the same as the original.
I googled the boards and it was suggested that the nvidia graphics card might be the problem. so reinstalled the drivers and then tried updating the drivers and its still the same problem. The reason I say i suspect the graphics card is that sometimes when the problem originally began I would get an error message saying that "display driver failed and recovered".
Is this a problem with the NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT card? There is no Integrated graphics card on the PC when a graphics card is installed.
The PC will work for a day or 2 then the same pink screen crash occurs, now all of a sudden it wont boot up, keeps going to launch startup repair, which does not work. I can boot up to safe mode only.
Hopefully someone would be able to point me in the right direction. I dont want to have to go changing the motherboard or worse still pay for a new PC.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, O

    Hi,
Is this HP PC the same as yours?  It might be the video card or a weak power supply. Try reseating the video card and see if that makes a difference.  Take a can of compress air and blow out all of the dust from CPU heat sink and the fan on the video card.  See if that makes a difference.
You could try removing the video card and connect the monitor using a VGA cable to the integrated video port on the back of your PC. Hopefully your monitor has a VGA port and you have a VGA cable.  The integrated video adapter is Intel so you will have to update the video driver.  Look here for the update.

  • HP Pavilion Dv7 4180ea Black Screen

    Hi,
I have a HP Pavilion Dv7 4180ea and my problem is that last night I put my computer on sleep and today, when I turned it on, there was nothing but a black screen, even if the computer was working fine in the background.
I connected it to my TV through a HDMI cable and the laptop is just fine, everything works perfectly when connected to the TV,  but when not, the bloody screen won't turn on.
I searched what the problem would be, but I couldn't find anything relevant to my situation.
I tried a hard reset and then I took the whole laptop apart, cleaned it out, changed the thermal paste and everything, connected the display cable...and made sure it was properly plugged in and turned it back on, but no luck with the display, it is still black, even though the computer itself works.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Flav,
I see that you're having issue with a blank display. I will try to help you with this.
As you've tested with another output source and it's working, this generally imply something wrong with the actual display.
Though you've taken it apart and put it back together may not have resolved, it it wasn't just a loose wire.
Anything software related, may not be viable to try, but you can still attempt a few things:
The remaining steps in here: Troubleshooting Black Screen Displays with No Error Messages During Startup or Boot
This may have additional steps -Resolving Problems with Notebook Displays
Also, make sure that the graphics driver is up to date. There were also recent Windows updates effecting computers in various ways included black screens. If this happened recently (after updates), try a System Restore
If none of the above works, I'd advise contacting phone support for repair/replacement options.

  • Pavilion p7-110c blank screen on start-up

My Pavilion. P7-1107c has a blank screen on start-up. There is a white flashing underscore mark in the upper left corner.  I have tried the f-10 keystroke recommendation with no success. Lights and fans are operating, and the cable is securely connected. There is a one-second display on the monitor of the hp logo (the hand with the building blocks) a few seconds after start-up, which immediately disappears.

    Hi,
Your PC is listed as coming with Windows 7 64bit - if this is correct, try the following.
If you don't already have one, use another PC to create a Windows 7 Rescue CD.  Download the ISO from the link below.
    Windows 7 64bit
You should use an application such as ImgBurn to burn the ISO to a CD - a guide on using ImgBurn to write an ISO to a disc is Here.  Once created, or if you already have this, insert the CD into the PC and restart to boot from it.  Select the Repair option.
Select the 'Repair your Computer' option and follow Option 2 in the guide on the link below to run Start-up Repair – you may need to run this 2 or 3 times.
    http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/668-system-recovery-options.html
If the above fails to help, make a note of any error messages you may get during the procedure and include them with your next post.
