Hp pavilion g7; speakers and headsets playing at the same time suddenly.

When i woke up this morning, I found out that my speakers and headsets are both playing at the same time. It did not do this before and I've been really stumped in finding a fix. I have gone through most the the related threads about this online but none of the fixes have worked for me not even system restore.

I have a HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop that run in Windows 7 Professional 64bit. I have problem with this because my internal speaker and headphone playing at the same time. And i notice that when i go to sound setting my headphone is not detected but it is still playing together with the speaker and only the internal speaker is only appearing at sound setting. I try to install RealTek that is compatible to my o.s but not working. Do i need to downgrade it to Xp or Vista to solve this problem or there are some solution for this problem. Please help me i'm not technician to fix this problem.
And please forgive me for my bad english..

Using internal Speakers and optical Output at the same time ?

Hello,
is it now possible to use the internal Speakers and optical Output at the same time ?
Is this a software or hardware limitation ?
Every day im disconnecting the optical output. It can't be good for the contacts. I wont spend over 100 euros buying an external soundcard to solve this problem.
Any Ideas ?

Sound plays out of my speakers AND my earphones at the same time

I'm not sure how long this has been going on for but I just found out that when I plug my earphones in that the sound still plays out loud from my laptop (supposed to only come out of earphones).
How do I fix this?
This laptop is only months old and I can't seem to avoid running into problems with it's audio. Thanks a lot beatsaudio HP. I'm a student so it's very important when in a library that I'm not producing music or sound for everyone. Just for my ears only please.

I understand that you are having a problem with sound playing through the speakers even when earphones are plugged in. I am happy to help.
A fix to try is, to go into the Control panel
then Hardware and Sound
then click on Sound and select the Recording tab
Select your microphone/headset as the default device, and press OK.
Also you can look at this page from answers.microsoft.com, as if offers a few more suggestions.

Speaker and heaphones play at the same time?

On my ipod, i put the heaphones in and play my music but the music also plays through the speakers, my headphones are fully inserted and are official apple ones. i have tryed resetting the ipod but this doesn't work, is there any way for me to fix this or do i have to take it to the store?

I can just recommend you to read "/usr/src/linux-*/Documentation/sound/alsa/HD-Audio.txt" (comes with the kernel docs), there are various configuration details explained, especially there is a section

To get a "list" of available kernel parameters make a

Internal speakers and line out at the same time?

I'd like to connect my Touchsmart 300-1125 to my stereo amplifier, to sometimes be able to play sound through the amp. The problem is that the internal speakers go silent whenever there is a cable in the line out jack (3.5 mm), so for times when I don't need the amp I have to fiddle with the cable to enable the internal speakers again.
Can I configure the audio driver so it doesn't disable the internal speakers when there is a cable in the jack?
(note that my model doesn't have the audio "phono" plugs on the rear, just a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the side and a 3.5 mm line out jack on the rear)

I was hoping for a solution in the direction of your second link, ie a driver upgrade that would offer more control over the audio chip settings. It seems though that Analog Devices that delivers the audio chip for my Touchsmart doesn't offer any driver downloads, and refers back to the PC maker. And there is no audio driver when looking at downloads for my model on HP's site...
Anyway, inspired by this article http://forum.onmac.net/showthread.php?t=1239 I went ahead looking in the Registry and found this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0000\AD1984A\FrontShutsOffInternalSpeaker
and when I set it to REG_BINARY:00 it seems to do mostly what I want, always leaving the internal speakers on. The only little annoyance is that it it leaves the speakers on both when I plug into the headphones jack and the rear line out jack, while I would have preferred to keep the auto-shutoff feature for the headphone jack.

Buttons: up and over play at the same time

Hi!
I am having a problem and my Professor is not answering my e-mails:
I created two buttons and I wanted them to be animated when I hovered on them with my mouse.
I created this animation in the "over" section, but when I play the whole flash file these buttons play both the up and the over animations, and my mouse is not even close to them. I have created a shape in the "Hit" section that covers the button, but that didn't solve my problem.
Help!

I think they are movieclip buttons, although I create them as simple buttons, they assume the movieclip icon when I am inside them
What first frame are you refering to: the first frame in the main timeline or the first frame inside the button?

Headphones and speakers playing at the same time on Win 8.1

Let's double-check your AX's settings...
To set up AirTunes on the AirPort Express Base Station (AX), using the AirPort Admin Utility, connect your computer directly (using an Ethernet cable) to the Ethernet port of the AX, and then, try these settings:
AirPort tab
- Base Station Name: <whatever you wish or use the default>
- Wireless Mode: Join an Existing Wireless Network (Wireless Client)
- Wireless Network: <select your Belkin wireless network>
Music tab
- Enable AirTunes on this base station (checked)
- Enable AirTunes over the Ethernet port (optional)
- iTunes Speaker Name: <whatever you wish>
- iTunes Speaker Password (optional)
In iTunes:
iTunes > Preferences... > Advanced > General
- Look for remote speakers connected with AirTunes (checked)

IPod Touch 4g won't charge and play at the same time

I used to have a 4g Nano that I would play in my car through an aux cable and charge through a cigarette lighter charger. I just got a 4th gen iPod Touch and it no longer lets me charge and play at the same time. If both wires are connected it will only charge and not play, once I pull the charger part out it will play through the speakers. Is there a fix to this? Do I need a different charger so that it won't think it's simply docked?

You would need to turn off hard drive mode via iTunes iPod settings on your home system to do this. I don't know if you have this mode on or off already. I thought I read that there is a way to enable/disable hard drive mode via the iPod buttons but I don't remember how.

Multiclips and multiple audio tracks playing at the same time

I've only just taken delivery of my first ever mac (only ever used PC) with FCP, and I'm loving it already! Done lots of reading and viewing of video etc etc, and it's not as daunting as I thought it might be. I have one question the books don't seem to answer, and I can only find one reference to this on this site, with no definitive response. FCP5 probably doesn't work this way, but just in case someone knows different......
I film and edit motorsport (karting) programmes for television in the UK, using multiple cameras. I usually lay all the video and audio tracks on the timeline, (synched) lock the audio for each (as it is engine noise, and I want it playing without abrupt changes at cuts as each kart passes each camera, whether in shot or not) then cut the video tracks and delete those video segments not required.
The most exciting aspect of FCP5 for me is the multiclip editing facility, which I have found very easy to learn and is going to save me hours of work! However, I want to know if there is a way of having each audio track from each camera used in the multiclip laid down on the timeline when you import the multiclip to the timeline from the viewer, in order that I can play each audio track from each of the cameras at the same time.
I know how to cut from angle to angle, leaving the audio from the selected angle as the one audio track playing, but I want all of the tracks to appear in the timeline and play at the same time. I know there's a bit of a workaround by locking the video and importing each audio track from each clip independently, but if you do have to re-synch one of the multiclips, this means the audio is not then synched with the original clip, which will have had an in point set before being imported in as part of a multiclip.
I can understand why you might want to keep audio from one camera only playing over the whole multiclip, or to switch between audio from each, but in my case I prefer all audio to play at the same time. The workaround is still do-able for me as I'm only talking about engine notes, which if they are a few frames out is not very noticeable at all, but I would like to know if I'm right in thinking I cannot do it the way I would like to?
Wish I'd used FCP from the start, but glad I've got it now.....especially with the 30 inch screen! It's 4.40am, been going over 19 hours straight and I'm still making comments like...."WOW, that's brilliant"...every half hour!
