HP Pavillion dv3 4103tx Blue screen atikmpag.sys

i have to error when after i reformat my windows 7 64bit and install my ATI catalyts Driver .everytime i re install it goes like this. how can i resolved this issue?
im using HP Pavillion Dv3 4103-tx

Hey oliver08,
I'm sorry you're running into this blue screen. Thanks for providing the picture and all of that information. What version of the driver are you trying to install? Are you using the same downloaded install file or are you downloading each time? It could be if you're using the same downloaded installation file that it is not complete or was corrupted somehow.
1. First, Uninstall the current graphics driver through Device Manager > Radeon HD Graphics > Properties > Driver tab > Uninstall. DO NOT RESTART at this point because Windows will automatically detect the missing driver and reinstall it. I would like you to try the drivers below, rather than Windows reinstalling the same driver that's already on the computer.
2. Your model's Driver Page shows two versions available, so I suggest trying both.
AMD HD Graphics Driver version 8.771.1.4000 -- try this one first because it is the most recent.
AMD HD Graphics Driver version 8.741.1.1
3. Download and install 8.771.1.4000. Use the Express installation if it asks you. Restart only if it prompts you to. Then test to see if you're still getting a blue screen. If you are still getting the blue screen, uninstall the same way you did at first and download 8.741.1.1. Install it, test and let me know if you're still getting the blue screen.

Hello, i have one Video Card MSI R9 280 but with drivers problems resulting in failure to enter Windows by a Blue Screen.
All the components are new, i build the P.C. a few days ago so in the first Windows installing all work fine, i installed the video drivers with the CD of the box. Reboot the pc when installed and all fine. The trouble came after install a couple of games and played it, one freeze and the pc reboot. Since then when i try to start windows and crash it with this:
Only in Safe Mode i can start Windows, but i disable the AMD drivers and right now i am with the VGA drivers from the motherboard.
I dont know if is a Software issue (I installed two Windows 7 - Ultimate & Proffesional) or Hardware (because in the first use all work fine even the drivers)
Please Help, i dont know what to do

    This is my pc:

By the way, i have windows with service pack 1 installed.
The thing is that in the very first configuration and windows installation, al work fine, the problem was i played a game and the screen freezes and reboot, since then i have the blue screen :(
Another problem is that i live outside EEUU and i cant return it, i cant imagine if i lose the 250$ of the vídeo card, its a lot of money for me.

  • HP Pavilion DV6; Black Screen & Atikmpag.sys BSOD with external Monitor

    Hello Guys.
I have HP Pavilion DV6 Core i7 with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 Graphics Card. Two weeks ago, I started getting continous Atikmpag, sys BSODs. The operating system also started giving me warnings about the hardrive. After a few days, the BSODs got more frequent. Then one day, I was doing normal stuff on my PC and the Display Driver crashed. Instead of recovering, the PC froze. I forced restart my PC but it got worse. The display of my laptop went black. I connected the laptop to external monitor which detected the display. When I tried to load the windows, it started giving me the Atikmpag.sys BSOD on the start up. Now the operating system works fine in the Safe Mode but with nothing on the laptop's screen. The soultions I have tried so far are.
    -Reinstalled the windows thrice
-Removed the drivers and installed the updated ones a bunch of times.
-Rolled back the bios to an earlier version
-Removed the hardrive and tried to load it from an operating system installed on external flash drive
-Tried loading the PC with linux on external flash drive
-Opened the laptop and cleaned it thoroughly
-Removed all the components and plugged them one by one.
-Removed the old Atikmpag.sys in system32 folder and expanded it with the latest ones.
-Installed every thing fresh from HP website
None of these tricks have given me any luck yet. The only way, I could use the operating system in normal mode, is to delete the atikmpag.sys file in safe mode and then log on back in normal mode. I also analysed the minidump file through window debugger and it says that atikmpag.sys is causing this crash with the TDR message. I did all these with an external monitor as the display of the laptop is black since that day.
Below are the detailed specs of my laptop.
OS Name: Microsoft Windows 7 (64 bit) Home Premium
    Version: 6.1.7601
System Model: HP Pavilion Dv6 Notebook PC
    Processor: Intel Core i7 Q 721 @ 1.60 GHz
    Bios Version/Date: Hewlett- Packard F.29, 11/7/2011
    Installed Physical Memory (RAM): 6GB
Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 1 GB
I have tried almost every solution available on these forums but still have not gotten any where. I am wondering how could the display, graphics card and hard drive stop working at the same time .
I would really appreciate if someone colud help me through this problem.
    Thank you

  • MDT 2012 Blue Screen AHCIX64s.sys

    Hello All,
I am having a problem after updating my deployment share image for MDT 2012.  I am pretty sure the deployment share had not been updated in about 4-5 months and we had recently received some new hardware and added new drivers to MDT.  I added the
drivers, and 3 of the 4 models booted just fine, the 4th claimed it didn't have drivers.
SO I went through and updated the boot image and added the new image to WDS.  Now when I attempt to netboot any machine, I get a BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH referencing ahcix64s.sys.  I went through every driver I could find for the last 6-12 months that
referenced ahci and unchecked "enable this driver".  I then went through and updated the deployment share and added the new image to WDS.  I am still getting the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?  DO I need to delete all the drivers, as opposed to unchecking the "enable this driver"?
    Joe

Are you getting the BugCheck on all machines or just one machine? Specifically, what is the error?
I have encountered problems with the Intel ACHI driver, since the *.inf file is identical between x86 and x64 it's difficult to know which driver package is for which OS. Hopefully MDT is doing the right thing here, and filtering out the correct version. How
many achi driver versions are being injected into the WinPE image (check the DISM.log)?

    Update the Bios.
    How to update the Bios?
Download the latest Bios update from here.
Plug the AC adapter to the netbook.
Disconnect from the Internet. Close all currently running programs. Disable anti-virus and firewall.
Double-click the Bios update exe file. It may take some time, so it is important to remain patient, do not interrupt the process. Allow the notebook to restart after applying the updated BIOS.
    While this update is running:
do not switch off your laptop,
do not unplug the AC adapter,
do not try to run any software or do anything on it.
    Note:
The Bios update process is always risky. You will do this at your own risk.

  • Igdkmd64.sys blue screen

How exactly do I trouble shoot what is causing this random blue screen igdkmd64.sys? Thanks!

    Hi,
Since Windows system uses separated user mode and kernel mode memory space, stop errors are always caused by kernel portion components, such as a third-party device drivers, backup software or anti-virus services (buggy services).
The system goes to a BSOD because there is some exceptions happened in the kernel (either the device driver errors or the service errors), and Windows implements this mechanism: When it detects some errors occur in the kernel, it will kill the box in case
some more severe damage happens. Then we get a blue screen or the system reboots (it depends on what the system settings are).
To troubleshoot this kind of kernel crash issue, we need to debug the crashed system dump. Unfortunately, debugging is beyond what we can do in the forum. A suggestion would be to contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) via telephone so that
a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your request. Please be advised that contacting phone support will be a charged call.

    @Telis13
Ok since you have managed to get into safe mode. You can try removing the the video driver and reinstalling the driver from the HP Support website.
    HP G62-b90EV Notebook PC Drivers
Be sure to select the correct operating system for your notebook and download the updated driver. I am assuming that you will do this on another computer and transfer the driver to your computer using a flash drive or some other usb removable media.
After trying that then reboot the computer and see if the problem remains. IF it does then try the things from my previous post. If the system restore does not work for you, then I would recommend backing up the contents of your hard drive to another driver and then perform a a system recovery.

  • I keep getting blue screen and error message to remove this file from system. spooldr.sys

HP Officejet 4500 Wireless All-in-One Printer - G510n    w/operating system     Windows XP Professional
I installed the printer in February and the disk did not finalize the setup process.  I went online and
down loaded the drivers and software that was offered from the HP website.
The printer works, but as the months have gone along, I keep getting updates for the printer and
the system needs to reboot and it does automatically.
Now I am getting a blue screen with a critical dump error message.  HP error reporting keeps sending
the same message back to restore to earlier date before the updates.  That worked for awhile.  Now
HP Error system says that malware has corrupted and needs to remove system file     spooldr.sys
Is this in your driver software.  Spooldr is the system that caches pages of data for printing in chronological
    order....
Can I uninstall my software and drivers and change to the plain & simple, print and scan to prevent the
spool driver from loading to my system?

Thank you for your input.  But, It is amazing that you can tell me that I was infected with  rootkit.
Without information as to how to fix, your information is after the fact and useless.
I used the Safety Scanner provided to me by HP.  A full scan didn't detect any Malware in any files on my system.  But the last screen dump provided the information that   spooldr.sys  was corrupted and  needed
    to be removed.
Coming into HP Form, I did read on the HP website that my system Windows XP Professional was not listed
and noted that the software may have not been just what I needed.  This was the reason for the question
about uninstalling and reinstalling less of the program.  I really don't need my printer to print backward and
that is all I see that it is doing that other printers don't.
Besides, Kudos goes to the person from HP who sent the email,  suggesting I used the HP Update software and drives recommended  for my computer system.  Computer, printer is working, back to normal and hasn't taken a dump since, I uploaded  software and drives for Windows XP Professional.

  • Blue screen with the following error SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION (ACPL.sys)

    Hi,
I had a blue screen with SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION (ACPL.sys) error message yesterday.
It happened right after the graphic card update was completed. I have an HP Spectre XT laptop with Windows 8 and Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000.
After restart, I noticed that the available free space on my hard disk dropped by 4 GB!
    Can you please assist?
    Thank you.

We do need the actual DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.
WE NEED AT LEAST TWO DMP FILES TO SPOT TRENDS AND CONFIRM THE DIAGNOSIS.
You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.
If you are overclocking stop.  (chances are if you dont know if you are, you are not)a
To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.  We need at least 2 DMP FILES to diagnose and confirm
    The procedure:
    * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
    * Zip up the copy.
    * Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button. (if available on  your site, MS doesnt have this)
*Please upload them to a file sharing service like Skydrive or"Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.
Link for how to  upload below.
    http://www.wikihow.com/Use-SkyDrive
    To ensure minidumps are enabled:
    * Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
    * Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
    * Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
    * Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
    * Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
    * OK your way out.
    * Reboot if changes have been made.
Please also run MSinfo32 and upload the output as well.
To run MSinfo32 please go to start>run>MSinfo32
Go to "file" "save" and upload the saved file with the DMPS
System specs are extremely useful so please include whatever you know.

Anyone seeing a nwdelmdm.sys blue screen when connecting to a jetpack?

Jetpacks do not require any software unless you are referring to a USB connection.  If so then your Jetpack USB drivers have become corrupted and should be reinstalled.  Id assume NW in nwdelmdm.sys is referring to Novatel Wireless.
If you have any other USB modem connection software or drivers you might want to clean them up too.
