Hi there, I got one of these laptops and it is incredible, I am very happy with it. I just wanted to know if the graphics card was upgradable, and if so what to? (hp pavillion g6 notebook pc windows 8).

I have a HP Pavillion g7 Notebook which originally came with Windows 8. I have downgraded to Windows 7 64 bit but I can not find the universal serila bus controller drivers for this version of Window.

Use the W7 x64 drivers and software from the g6t-2000...the USB3 driver is under the chipset driver section.

Windows 7 graphics card errors with games - how do I get/update drivers??

Just recently installed windows 7 with bootcamp and having some issues with games and screen savers. Most of the screen savers that come with 7 say I need a video card compatible with Direct3D. Secondly, 2 games that I want to play (minecraft and terraria) both give me graphics card errors. Minecraft works fine on the OS X side but says I should update my graphics card drivers. Terraria says the graphics card does not support Direct3D. How/where do I get these drivers or how/where do I update them? The graphics card I have is NVIDIA GeForce 9400M, running on a MacBook Pro 13" Mid 2009 model.

hi, today I have bought this Hp notebook http://www.mediaworld.it/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=20000&storeId=20000&prod... ad you can see it shows that the graphic card is a hd8570M with 2gb.... the fact is that checking with ati catalyst it shows that the graphic card is instead a radeon r5. so do you think that they gave me the wrong product? is hp selling two 15-g212nl with different graphic cards? or is a matter of dedicated/integrated graphic cards? please help me! thank you very much

I'm wondering what to do, I have just recently built a brand new computer, everything put together correctly, once I load the system to put the operating system on I'm getting this error ""Non-windows 8 Logo Graphics Card, No GOP detected"?
anybody have any idea what I can do to get around this?

Either switch to legacy mode instead of UEFI booting or update vga with a GOP vbios. To find the correct one add the card's S/N and a copy of your current vbios by saving it to file with gpu-z, uploading it to some file hoster and adding the link here.

Windows 7, graphics card recognized in CS6, but nor in CC, or CC 2014.

Since the release of CC, I don't have the benefit of my GPU when running CC or CC 2014. I still have CS6 loaded and appears in the performance area and works.

No sound on videos from SD File on my HP Pavillion g6 Notebook PC.

HP Pavillion g6 Notebook PC Windows 7 64-bit. I have videos on my SD Card that were recorded from my cellphone. Once I play the video on my Notebook, I am able to see the video, but it has no sound. I have tried to upload videos into websites directly from the SD, (not saved files on the notebook) and they still have no sound. What should I do?

Are they ok to play on your phone ? What is your phone ? What is the format of the videos ? The phone may have different file structure and/or stream (video - audio), you may need a software to mix them. The phone manual should tell us few things.

Updating Graphics Card Drivers

Hello there, I have a HP Pavillion dv7 Notebook with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit that I built using HP.com. However when I try to play certain games (such as GTA: San Andreas and Toribash) there seems to be a problem with the graphics card, and have been told by others to update my drivers. I have an Intel HD Graphics card but I can't seem to find a way to actually update the drivers. I have tried Hp.com, Intel.com, and even ATI Technologies Inc. (The manufacturer) but none of them seem to be able to update the drivers. Does anyone know of a way to update the drivers for an Intel HD Graphics card?
PS. This is what the game "Toribash" looks like when I start it up, definitely something wrong : There's Something Wrong Here

check that by going into device manager clicking display adapters and then selecting the adapter and then going to driver and see the date intel will have some date of may month and amd one with october date

HP Pavilion G6 - Radeon graphics card issue

Hi all!
I have a HP Pavilion G6-2240SH notebook, that has two graphics card. I'm using Windows 8.1 operating system
The motherboard's graphics card works correctly. But there's a hyper-super other card: Radeon HD 7600M
I tried to use the official driver from HP's site, and other drivers from the official Radeon's site, but it doesn't work.
The operation system tells me that "Windows has stopped this device becouse it has reported problem (Code 43)".
Do you have any idea what could be the problem with my video card?

Hi:
On the models with the AMD/Intel switchable graphics, you have to use the graphics driver on the support and driver page for your notebook.
See if this works...
Download and run the driver again from your notebook's support page.

Go to the device manager and click on the problem amd graphics adapter.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver. Select the browse my computer for driver software method and browse t the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp59936.
Make sure the include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.
If that doesn't work, see if this driver works instead...

Lenovo G500 Graphic card problem

I have bought brand new Lenovo G500 (Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU 2020M @ 2.40 GHz 2.40 AMD Radeon HD8570mGHz 8GB Ram) without system in it. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate here, and I cant install graphic card.
I downloaded AMD drivers and when I turn on my notebook again, in manager graphic card is off, because of error 43.
Can I ask for fast reply ? I'm keep fighting with it 2 days in row.

Does the computer feel overly warm when the errors occur? If so the Video Card may be overheating, or have a hardware issue. If your notebook is under warranty - would suggest contacting Lenovo Support directly for service.
