HP photosmart series 4795 won't print wireless. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, checked drivers and done HP updates. Still won't work. Unchecked print offline so it will print online..... running out of options on how to correct. Any suggestions on what to do next are appreciated... thnks

What does it say?
I suspect it may be your Symntec firewall, but let's see what the utility says.
Have you restarted you router lately? Does it have updated firmware?

Hi I have a HP Photosmart printer, but it will not print to computer wirelessly, I have run all tests I can think of have ptinted off a wireless net work test report that says everything has passed,, signal quality excelent and so on. but when I try to print from the computer I get a message cannot find computer.

I am trying to print wirelessly from my laptop to my photosmart C7250. The troubleshooting message says that my printer cannot be contacted over the network and that it is turned off. The printer is on and I have exhausted all attempts on my own to fix this. I hope you can help. Thank you.

I understand your Officejet 4622 will not print wireless. I will do my best to assist you! First, I would like to ask you a couple of questions to clarify: When you installed this printer on your computer, were you able to print a document? Did the installation state it had a successful wireless connection?

What is your operating system on your computer? Windows or Mac?

HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Will Not Print Wirelessly

Hi. I have read other threads on this forum with suggested fixes from HP employees and tried them. I have run the tool which found no errors. My firewall is off. I have installed the latest Adobe and uninstalled then reinstalled the printer software. I have followed instructions in book re: turning off computer, router, printer, etc. I can see the IP address for the printer in IE.
Still, this brand new printer will not print wirelessly or otherwise from my hp laptop. VERY frustrating. I have spent hours trying work arounds for a brand new computer. I would greatly appreciate a response regarding how to resolve this problem. Thank you.

I have seen cases where a troubled install went through flawlessly after the computer was reimaged. That may be an option to consider.
I did want to make sure that you had the most current firmware version and it looks like you do.
Before a reimage, you could uninstall Officejet Pro 8600 programs (if there are any) and download and install the drivers for your printer from hp.com. Click here for the HP Officejet Pro Full Feature Software and Driver. By doing this, you would have the most up-to-date drivers. Sometimes a download will work where a disk does not. It you do decide to reimage, I highly recommend the above download for the installation.

Upgraded iMac to ML and can print wirelessly to HP5200C, but Mac Book Pro, which is not yet upgraded to ML will not.

Do you have the latest HP drivers, available from Apple here, on your MBP?

HP Photosmart 5510 will not print Black Ink!! - Time to "break-up" with HP

I came upon this forum by doing a google search for the issue I'm having which is my HP Photosmart 5510 will not print black ink. The printer is a year and a half old and is used only for home office use (not a heck of a lot of printing being done)
It started right after I installed new ink cartridges (all four of them) I want to mention hear that I ONLY buy genuine HP ink cartridges from Staples and when I replace my cartriges I replace all four at the same time even if one ink level is not considered "replaceably" low. When the issue started I thought I must have gotten a bad black cartridge so I went out and bought another one but was still having the issue. So that's when I did my google search.

After trying all of these my color ink is less than half full....remember....I started with 4 brand new ink cartridges...so now, I'm out roughly $85 in ink just trying to resolve a problem that should not have happened in the first place!! Shame on HP for makeing such poor quality products. I gave up on HP computers years ago and now I'm giving up on their printers!! This HP Photosmart 5510 All In One printer replaced an HP Color Laserjet CM1312nfi printer (which cost approximately $400) that only lasted about 3 years. Sorry HP but that's it....I'm moving on! Consider this our "break-up" letter.

Hi TisKate, sorry to hear that you are having printing issues when it comes to printing in Black. I am also sorry to hear that you are breaking up with HP. I would like to offer a couple more troubleshooting steps before we say our fond farewells. Now this might sound silly but really it isn't. If you have the power cable connected to a Power bar/strip, please remove it and connect the power cable directly to a wall outlet. HP printers already have a built in surge protector and if you have it in a strip/bar, the printer will not get all the power needed to function properly. This can cause printing issues or false error messages on the printer display screen. Here is a document that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
The other step I would like to take is on the printers display touch screen. Please use the right arrow key and go to the Wrench icon. Press the wrench and go to the Tools menu. Once in the Tools menu, please select Clean Printhead. Use the cleaning utility 2-3 times or until you see a change in the print status reports. It might take a few cycles but I am confident that it will make a difference.

My Photosmart C6280 will not print in color.All ink levels are good. Factory defaults clicked. Did I override something without realizing it? I don't see anywhere to click for grayscale. I am using an APPLE AIR....I have also turned the printer off and on again..

I read about how you cannot print or copy in color. Not copying in color is concerning, as the copy is a stand alone function that does not involve the computer in any way.
I'd suggest power resetting the printer:
Press the Power button to turn on the product.
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
You can also remove the ink cartridges and reinsert them and try a color copy again to see if that helps.
If the troubleshooting does not help resolve your issue, I would then suggest calling HP's Technical Support to see about further options for you, such as a replacement or trade in. If you are calling within North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and if you are calling outside of the US/Canada region,: click here.

Photosmart D7560 will not print envelopes - load paper into main tray

My photosmart d7560 will not print envelopes, after moving the envelope into position for printing, the message "load paper into main tray" is displayed. It does print the envelope data correctly on a piece of 8.5x11 paper. Setup is for a #10 envelope. Envelopes are self sealing. I have tried creasing the edge better but that didn't help. I tried a non-self seal (which had a letterhead on it so I couldn't use it for this mailing) and it DID work. Is there any way to make self seal envelopes work in this printer?

My CANON MX922 printer will not print wireless or wired. I used suggestions in Community such as "MX922 not connecting wirelessly, 7-6-15, post 1362, 10-17-15". (No solution). I worked with a great rep., by phone,for one hour. (No solution). My MG6220 has worked wirelessly, for two years, on the same Lenovo computer with Windows 7. I tried that and the computer still can not recognize the printer. I used the CD that came with it to reinstall it and all goes well until the very end when the last window pops up and says it can not find the printer.I went and bought a new printer last night Canon MG5622 since it uses the same ink cartridges and I have a lot of of inkI didn't want to waste. This printer installed easily and works great.Not sure what happened with the other one but perhaps I'll pass it to my sister with the CD and see if it will install onher computer.thank you for your help, you're awesome for trying!Diane

No solution. Power cycled several times, power cycled computers, modem, router, performed all recommended cleanings, changed all ink cartridges, checked it over several days - no go. Then, suddenly, after weeks, it started printing again. That's one hell of a gremlin. Throughout all of this time, my inexpensive Canon printer never faltered.
