HP Photosmart 6510: now everytime I print I get message "Error: 1 document waiting"

My HP Photosmart 6510 has worked fine for 1 yr and now everytime I print I get message "Error: 1 document waiting" and wont print -I delete the queued document but it doesnt help I've turned off, unplugged, refound the printer and I can't make it work Help please.

It looks like your having a communication issue with the computer and HP Photosmart 6510. I should be able to provide some information that may be of some help.
If the printer is connected WiFi I would recommend power cycling the router as well. When sending a print job WiFi the data travels to the router and then the printer. Its possible the print job is getting hung up at the router.
If you are still getting issues with WiFi connection I would also suggest plugging in the USB cable to see if the printer and computer are communicating that way.
You may also need to uninstall and reinstall the HP software in case there is some sort of software issue that has developed over time. To provide the correct documentation for uninstalling and reinstalling HP software You will need you to provide me with the the operating system you are running (ex. Windows or Mac) and the version of the operating system.

I was only able to print one page and then both my printer and my computer would display an error message about the printer's inability to print. Since then I've been able to resolve my specific problem.
I
1. uninstalled HP from my computer (checked to ensure that my printer was no longer visible in my printers and the HP Utility software was nowhere to be found),
2. grabbed the software/driver update from Aug, 2010,
3. installed the Aug, 2010 update, and my problems seem to have been fixed.
This is where I got my 2010 update from (obviously you should get the driver/software applicable to your OS and specific printer):

When printing web based .pdf or regular .pdf I get message "This document failed to print". I've ran the HP Diagonistic tool and no errors are found. I've gotten the same message on many different .pdf's so I don't believe it is a margin issue.

Are the static IP addresses inside the DHCP range? If so, move them to ones outside the range.
Also, have you set the IP address in the printers' embedded web pages (via IP address in a browser) to match the ones set in the router?

HP Photosmart 6510 B211a: network diagnostic test result - no problem found.
Can not print wireless from my HP Compaq 6720s. Document just sits in queue.
Driving me mad.....
How do I solve this issue?

What operating system does the computer use?
What brand and model is the router?
Have you tried the steps for your respective operating system in this document? If not, try them as they have the best chance at resolving the issue when followed in order.

HT4528 I upgraded my I phone 4 to IOS 7 now everytime I type a text message or an e-mail there is a delay is there anythign I can do to correct this?

I did my IOS 7 update yesterday and now everytime I text or e-mail there is a delay from the time I hit a key until it appears on the screen it also has a delay in sending either text or email. Is the a fix for this?

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

Can't print over network get message "Error Printing" in message Queue

I have 3 machines, xp, vista and windows 7. I have 2 printers that are configured to print through the network
1. OfficeJet Pro L7680
2. PhotoSmart C7180
For all 3 computers I can go to the web configurations for the printers (so I know the network settings are correct). Windows finds the printer and properly installs the drivers using the TCP/IP network port.
I can only print to the PhotoSmart from the Vista computer. I can't print from the XP or Windows 7 machine, I can't printer to the OfficeJet Pro from any computer.
Both printers work on all computers via USB port.
when I try to print a test page the job stays in the print queue and gets a message "Error Printing".
The funny part is that the computer can communicate with the printers and get the ink levels no problem.
I have been banging my head on the wall and cannot figure it out.
Any Suggestions?

I think I figured it out after torchering my self for weeks.
I had my computers and printers hooked up directly or wireless through a linksys WRT610N router. I decided to add a linksys switch right after the router and plugged the computer and printers in through the switch and now it works.
This is very strange, there must be somekind of incompatibility with the WRT610N router that is causing the problem, it works but refused to print for some reason. I tried changing settings in the router but haven't got it to work.
Any clues on what it could have been with the router?

Additionally, I had upgraded to the Pro version of Quicktime recently, but it appears I've retrograded back to the basic version, unexplainably.

Printing to Adobe PDF printer and getting the same document, possible??

I need to split a page A4 into 2 pages, it's possible using print, then tile large pages, the problem is that my original document is black and white, but the generated one has a shades of gray visible when zooming to 800% (and the size is much bigger), so my question is:
is it possible to print a document to Adobe PDF printer and getting exactly the same document?? same size, same black and white

I suspected as much. I was hopeful it was something like a setting that needed to be changed or a reg hack that needed a bit changed from 0 to 1 to make the printing work as expected. I only installed the local printer to see if the RDP session
tunnel was in fact causing the print size to balloon so I will continue to instruct users to use that instead of the local redirected printer. I am disappointed but not surprised.

Additionally I have tested the functionality of setting the GPO settings for Easy Print to use the redirected printer's drivers instead of the ones used by easy print, by setting “Computer
Configuration -> Administrative templates -Windows Components -> Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host -> Printer Redirection”.

with no luck. In fact the printer received the proper Adobe PDF driver, but the job went out into print spool hell and was lost to the ether. I have concluded that this approach will not bear any fruit.

Connecting a printer, but getting an error message

Hi, I'm trying to connect my new printer "Epson sx515w" to my MacBook, using ox 10.4.11.
I get the error message "client-error-request-value-too-long" when I try to add the printer to my printer list. PLease help!

There has to be another reason. This system was imaged with a fresh install of Office 2010.
I had similar issues with Presenter 7, and if I am not mistaken, you had to provide me with a *.reg file to allow this to install properly.

Hello, Ive only had these two items together for a couple months, then all of a sudden nothing will print from the computer. I can put my memory card or scan a photo on printer and it will print, but nothing from computer. When I go into the printer queue it says my printer is offline, but my printer says its connected to my server. The only thing I can think of that i did before this happened was deleted all the extra tool bars from internet explorer. I have unistalled and reinstalled my printer software too and still no success. So when I try to connect my computer to my printer it says "unable to find printer". Thank you!

If you have a wireless router or DSL modem which uses DHCP to assign network addresses, check whether your printer's assigned address has changed since you set it up. Windows 7 printer setup has a command for updating that, but it would be better to reserve a specific address so it doesn't change in future.
