HP Photosmart 7510 touch screen, power light and wifi lights won't turn on

I bought my HP Photosmart 7510 over a year ago, just past warranty. I've printed less than 50 pages total at home and only 3 photos. Just as of two days ago, the touch screen decided not to work anymore, and the lights that usually come on next to the power button and wifi icon won't come on either. However, when I turn it on, the same tones sound out and the scanner and ink jets move around in their usual set-up. I've troubleshooted with trying several different ways of restarting it, but to no avail.
HP tech support phone line was a joke, I got told by the first representative (before telling him which product I had or even offering to troubleshoot) that he was going to send a repairman to my house for $149. Over the price of my printer. So I tried calling back and spoke with a young woman who, when I asked if she would help me troubleshoot my printer, said "you can't troubleshoot that, only software". Then insisted that I pay $130 for a new printer. When I asked to be transferred to her supervisor, I was yelled at, told to again buy a new HP printer, and pushed off the phone.
I have had several HP products, I always seek them out for the brand name and have trusted the merchandise. But one year of life in a product is just silly. And unforturnately, I won't be able to convince myself to buy another one for that kind of lifespan unless I can fix this. I know I'm not the first one with this issue, is there a RECALL I'm not aware of? How can I get this puppy working again?

I am sorry to hear about your Photosmart 7510's touch screen showing blank and not working. I understand you can still hear the printer warming up when you power it on. I would like to post you a troubleshooting guide below to try in hopes to correct the issue.
If you have tried all of the steps and the screen is still blank, you can also try another power cable if you have one.

If you are able to have the screen come back on, also check for a Firmware Update.

    I had just gotten out of the ocean and when I went to check my texts, my hair dripped a bunch of water onto my iPod's screen. I wiped it off, but when I tried to scroll through my inbox it didn't register. I was able to get it to turn off, but it took a while to get it to register.

    Place the iPod in a sealed container of uncooked rice for five days or so to dry the iPod. Then try resetting and restoring the iPod.
    One concern is that even if it works for awhile the salt water may cause corrosion of interns and cause the iPod to not work later.

    My ipod still syncs to itunes and I can put podcasts and music on my ipod, but I can't delete songs after I put them on the ipod. When I try to delete songs I try to delete it from the main music list on the ipod. It's also doing all the other stuff that I posted before. The screen will go black and then the power off slider thing shows up for a few seconds, then it'll show the unlock slider bar. Then goes black again. It will also do that when I have the ipod unocked and changing songs or playing a game. I've restored it to the factory default/new ipod and it still does the same thing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and then restored it again to the factory default and it's still doing the same exact thing. I checked and my computer is up to date.

    Sorry, darned auto correct. Sleep and home. The home is the button on the front of your iPad. The sleep button is also the power down button. It's on the upper right edge of your iPad.

    If so you might want to try a hard power down (if you haven't already).

    Try a reset: Press and hold both Sleep/Wake and Home buttons until the Apple logo appears.

    Try to reboot it. Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple, about 20 seconds or so. It should reboot and work for you.

    Hi. You might have a memory problem. With one or more of your ram being bad. If this is so you can try removing the ram one at a time and try to restart . You can also switch ram slots to make sure ifs not the ram slot. Before you do this try a pram reset. Command/Option/P/R holding down these keys while starting up for three chimes.     Welcome to the forum! Could be that the memory is low. Firstly clear the browser cache:
    Browser > Options (right bottom corner) > Settings > Privacy > Clear privacy data.
    Go to Nokia Store application > Options > Account > Settings > Installation preferences > Select something else than Phone memory. After this delete and reinstall possible application you have installed to phone memory.
    If the issue persists, then make a back up with Nokia Suite. Type in *#7370# = hard reset, phone memory will be wiped. Restore back up. If not helping, try to do the back up without settings.
    You can also reinstall the software. The process is the same when updating, but at the end select "reinstall".
    Hope you get the phone working normally again!
