Hp photosmart c310 - preferences only shows 4x6 options. no 8-!/2 x 11
I have a Photosmart C310. Using Windows 7. When I go to Control Panel, hardware, Devices and printers, and then Photosmart C310 - adust print options, I only get shortcuts to photo options. No general printing. Therefore, everything is set up for 4X6, and other very similar sizes. Nothing for what I would consider normal document sizes such as 8.5 X 11 or A4. I have fished-around for hours;
I did get a web document to print 8.5 X 11 by going to Google Chrome print; But when I use Outlook to print everything prints 4X6, even if it is on 8.5 X 11.
Would appreciate some help.

I would try uninstalling software and reinstalling printer. I am linking you to the software and driver page make sure you select full feature software.

Sound preferences output only shows Airplay as an option
I tried everything under the sun, SMC resetting, Audio Midi utility (which only shows Airplay), reinstalling Yosemite twice, nvram resetting, resetting and update Apple TV. Nothing works! I have Yosemite 10.10.1. and Macbook air mid 2012.
Do you have headphones or HDMI or a MIDI USB cable in use?
If you can unplug them completely and reboot, then configure the output, then reconnect the device it sometimes fixes this.
are you not seeing something the the Audio Icon in the top menu or the Control Panel in System Preferences? -
When I open TB, I no longer see any information about the TB account I've used for years. Instead, the main menu shows only "Accounts" -- "Create a new account - Email, Chat, Newsgroups, Feeds". Option: "View settings for this account" is NOT shown.
Also the main menu does NOT show "Email - Read messages, Write a New Message" or "Advanced features", etc..
The actual emails pertaining to the TB account I've used for years are still present under the "Users --> xxxxyyyy --> AppData --> Roaming --> Thunderbird' folder.http://kb.mozillazine.org/Recovering_a_profile_that_suddenly_disappeared

After recently downgrading from iOS 7 back to iOS 6.1.4 on my iPhone whenever I go into the App Store to redownload my apps it only gives me the option "open" but I don't have the apps, therefore I don't HAve the app to open. Please help
How can u downgrade. Apple doesn't allow that. Unless your iPhone 5 is jail broken. iOS 7 isn't even out yet. There Is no way u can get iOS 7 unless it was beta. And if so beta is having some issues.

I messed up and deleted a few songs by mistake. When I go to the "purchases" option it only lists apps and books that have been downloaded, but music is not an option to see what was downloaded previously. Anyone know how I can re-download the songs ?

After like 10 hours of research I finally solved this, I installed media player classic (with the Windows Essential Codec pack) and ffdshow. Then I opened a video that has 5.1 audio and right-clicked on the video screen, went to Filters, then ffdshow Audio Decoder, I checked the "Mixer" box, beside "Output speakers configuration" I selected "same as input", then back under the Mixer box I clicked "Input/Output", checked the "AC3" box, then clicked ok

I got my ipad2 almost a month back. But the ITune store only shows two option, podcast and ituneU...can somebody tell me hot to buy music and movies from the store?
It depends on what country you are in - not all content types are available in all countries. A full list of what is available where is shown on this page . If you are in one of those countries where only podcasts and iTunes U are available, the unfortunately you won't be able to buy music and films from Apple (and the terms of use of the stores state that you cannot use another country's store). Are there other music purchase download sites in your country ?

Bridge only shows "high quality thumbnails" even if i have "quick thumbs" selected under preferences
I have tried using the options "Convert To High Quality When Previewed" and "quick thumbnails" under preferences, and closed and restarted bridge after changing each option, but to no avail.

won't "downsize" the cached thumbnails; the high-quality thumbnails will still show. To see low-quality (quick) thumbnails, turn to another folder with images with no thumbnails yet created, or purge the thumbnail cache. Simply closing and restarting won't purge the cache.

on my IMac the internal speakers have ceased working - in the sound preferences area only digital out sound is there no internal speakers to choose so unless I connect external speakers I have no sound

Sounds like the micro switch inside the output jack that switches the audio from internal to external is stuck on external. Try plugging a set of buds, headphones or digital Toslink adapter in and out a few times to see if it will unstick the micro switch. You also might try jiggling a tooth pick around inside the audio output jack to see if that unsticks it? If not then you'll need to make an appointment at your Local Apple Store or Apple Service Provider and have the jack serviced.

Have just installed PE12 with no install problems. Share preference does not show email preferences, just the default Adobe. Previous PE worked for sending email attachments, Vista with Windows Mail. How do I get Windows Mail as the share email preference?

Mail Preferences -- only showing Junk settings

Just one hiccup.
When I go to Preferences, I only get the window for junk mail settings.
I can't get to the signatures and other preferences.Hello David.
You have the preferences toolbar closed on Junk Mail.
Go to Mail > Preferences and at the top right corner of the Preferences window is a clear pill shaped button.
Selecting this button opens/closes the complete Preferences toolbar.
When this button is available, it serves the same purpose for whatever window is open. -
Hi, I am using my icloud on my iphone but am unable to find it on my mac book pro. It's not under my system preferences like it shows under the setup. Can I download it again? Or something. I just need to backup some files on my computer and am unable.
The minimum requirement for iCloud is Lion 10.7.5 (Mavericks preferred): the iCloud Preference Pane does not appear on earlier systems - the MobileMe pane appears on Lion and earlier but is now non-functional - you cannot now open or access a MobileMe account.
To make use of iCloud you will have to upgrade your Mac to Lion or Mavericks, provided it meets the requirements.
The requirements for Lion are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available space
Lion is available in the Online Apple Store ($19.99). Mountain Lion (10.8.x) is also available there at the same price but there seems little point as the system requirements are the same for Mavericks (10.9.x) - which is free - unless you need to run specific software which will run on Mountain Lion only.
