HP Photosmart C4188 All in One not switching on

Hi!
I own a HP C4188 Printer which is suddenly not turning on. When I connect it to the power, momentarily the 'power on indicator' and the scanner light flashes and then turn off. The panel power on button does not respond. I have checked the power module and the power cords and have tried different wall outlets with no positive results. The printer has never presented a snag/error message ever before. I use Windows Vista Business Edition and have the proper drivers installed.
CAN ANYBODY PLEASE HELP :-(

    I have a HP Photosmart e-all-in-one wireless that I have been using for my Apple devices (Mac, iphone, ipad) for years and recently it started giving me problems. 
    First month or so ago, out of nothing the MacBookPro would not see the printer connected, in dispite of been connected to the network. During that time I was able to find it connected from my iphone & ipad. Then I was using to print from these last two.
    Now, not even from my iphone & ipad. It seems that printer does not exist at all, coz it always says "printer not connected" on the MacBook and "No AirPrint Printers Found" on the ipad & iphone. 
    I've noticed that on HP website, the most updated version of the Mac is 10.9 and my devices has 10.9.2 Is this the problem? If so, how can I get by and continue to use the printer? I need to print ASAP.

    My HP Photosmart 6520 all in one printer will not print anything in black and it has a brand new cartrige in it. I have tried restarting the printer, and the computer and it is not helping. Please help.

  • Photosmart C5180 all in one not copying and or printing

    My Photosmart C5180 all in one-- will not print material from my computer. It will not copy either.
    I did a print test from my computer's solution software and a nice picture of 2 pears came out fine
    in living color. I did an extended self test diagnostic - 2 pages--and the headings (product information, etc)
    printed out fine in black and blue ink---but the info under each heading printed really really light - not readable.
    When I try to print from my computer I get a blank page. When I try to copy something it sounds like it
    is printing, but the paper is blank.  Thanks for the help.

    Printer = PhotoSmart C7280
    Situation #1
    Printer screen displays message "Ink System Failure" with error code 0xc19a0035
    Situation #2
    All lights flash - printer screen is blue with symbol (power) and message b03771de in white.
    Is this printer beyond  saving?
    The printer may have suffered from a sudden power outage prior to these problems appearing.
    PC - operating system is not relevant.

    The same thing happened to me ... I tried everything.  If I turned it off and put it back on it would print or copy but thats it.  I finally just bought a new printer.  HP officejet pro 8600 e all in one.  Stay away from this one if you have to buy a new printer.  Its not half as nice as the C7280.  No preview when you print and you can't even pick which pages you want to print.  A lot of wasted paper and ink!  Seems quite a few of us are getting that error message from the C7280, maybe HP did something wrong and should compensate us for the malfuncuntion!  Now I wish I didn't buy another HP.

    I would like to help you with this. I suggest removing the cartridges and reinstalling them, if an alignment does not begin automatically, I recommend performing an alignment manually. Please follow the instructions below.
    Remove the cartridges.
    If the alignment page does not print, press the Setup button ( ) on the front screen of the printer
    Press the Down Arrow button ( ) to select Tools, and then press OK.
    Press the Down Arrow button ( ) to select Align Printer, and then press OK. The product prints an alignment page, aligns the printhead, and then calibrates the product.
    After the success or failure message appears on the control panel display, press OK to continue.
    If the issue persists, clean the printheads
    Open the HP Solution Center, click on settings
    Under Print Settings , click Printer Toolbox . The Printer Toolbox opens in a new window.
    Click the Device Services tab.
    Click Clean the Printhead.

    Since a few months, all colour prints don' t contain magenta. I replaced all cartridges, run cleaning heads, align etc..., the problem is still there.   • HP Photosmart 5515 all-in-one not detected by HP software, driver not found by Windows Update

    Hi,
    I have Windows 7 64 bits and an HP Photosmart 5515.
    I had to reformat my PC, and when I tried to install the printer, Windows Update recognized it, but couldn't find the appropriate drivers, while the HP software didn't find the printer, neither with the IP address nor the Hostname.
    The printer is connected to the network, and is working perfectly (we are able to print on my wife's computer), but on mine it's not possible to connect it.
    I've tried both the Full Feature Software Package:

  • HP Photosmart C3180 All-in-One printer -- SCANNER not working.

    I have had this HP Photosmart C3180 All-in-One printer for a couple years and all is well. HOWEVER, the one function not working properly is SCANNING. I can print fine and copy fine. But when I go to scan something my power button flashes for about 10 seconds and then stops. Nothing happens, and nothing scans. HP said it was not the printer itself, but something to do with my operating system through Apple. I have the current 10.5.6 version of Leopard.
    If I can get any help from others I'd appreciate it!
