In the Print box, click "Preferences".  In the box that opens, click the "Preferences" tab.  About halfway down on the left, click the Resize Options.  Check under "More" to see if your size is there.  If not, click Custom to type in the size you want.

  • Photosmart D7560 printers suddenly shooting blanks

I am flummoxed by this problem and flabbergasted by HP's suggestion: get new printers.  So I'm hoping someone here can help!
I have two Photosmart D7560 printers, each attached via USB to a Windows 7 Pro computer (2 different computers.)  They both have performed flawlessly until yesterday when, after spitting out a few complete and a few incomplete pages, the one printer just started to put out 2 blank sheets of paper for each print order of 1 copy.  I followed HP tech support's advice and ...
    Disconnected it.
Took out the cartridges and print head and put them back in.
Downloaded the latest software and drivers.
    Uninstalled the existing software.
    Installed the new software.
    Rebooted the computer.
The result: it's still shooting blanks.  So I pulled the file off the local network from the second computer and sent it to print on the other D7560.  It put out one or two partial pages in black only.  (In draft mode, it printed a complete but very blurry image.)  So I switched the printers on the two computers.  Both are now shooting two blanks per page.  It doesn't matter which computer sends the print command to which printer.  No matter how that goes, both printers fail to print.
Since both printers print beautiful self tests, they clearly are working, leading me to suspect something to do with the printing-whatevers associated with Windows 7.  HP no longer makes printers that print on DVDs and I am loathe to toss out my expensive stockpile of cartridges that fit both of these printers and a third I have in another office.
I should add that, unless I set the advanced properties of the printer to print directly to the printer (as opposed to the Windows spooler), the blank pages just roll out of the printer, with no "attempt" to print anything.  When I set the printer to print directly to it, the printer "acts like" it is printing (the print head is clearly moving back and forth) but the page is blank when it's finished.
    Help!

  • HP Photosmart D7560 set up failure - HP Setup Assistant - Mac OS 10.5.8

Ever since installing the Mac OS 10.5.8 combo update on my 2007 iMac 24", the HP Photosmart D7560 printer stopped working.
Downloading the latest driver software from HP ("HPInstaller_PSD7500v9.8.dmg") and running it seems to install software, but when HP Setup Assistant launches and tries to "set up" the printer with the new software, it first doesn't show the printer icon in the Select Device pane of the HP Setup Assistant window.
After checking the "My device is not listed" box, an icon for the printer appears. Then, after clicking the Continue button, the following message is displayed: "If your device is not listed, it is not supported by this installer. Please visit www.hp.com/support to download an installer, if one is available. If you do not have internet access, ..."
This printer worked fine with Mac OS 10.5.7.
    Can anyone suggest a solution?

  • Photosmart D7560 will not print envelopes - load paper into main tray

My photosmart d7560 will not print envelopes, after moving the envelope into position for printing, the message "load paper into main tray" is displayed.  It does print the envelope data correctly on a piece of 8.5x11 paper.  Setup is for a #10 envelope.  Envelopes are self sealing.  I have tried creasing the edge better but that didn't help.  I tried a non-self seal (which had a letterhead on it so I couldn't use it for this mailing) and it DID work.  Is there any way to make self seal envelopes work in this printer?
    This question was solved.

Do you have the flap folded inside the envelope, so that it does not stick out?

  • Dimming power LED on Photosmart D7560?

Has anyone had the opportunity to partially disassemble their Photosmart D7560?
The reason I ask is that I find the power LED on this printer is bright enough to serve as a nightlight - I would like to get at the power LED and slip a piece of paper between it and the power button to dim it just a hair.
I would much prefer to just have the printer off and have the computer (which is a Mac mini) awaken the printer when it is needed - and which was how it was with my previous computer / printer set (PC and HP Deskjet 940), but I was told by HP support to just leave the printer on and it would go to standby by itself. I have no problem with that but for the power LED which as I said, is bright enough to serve as a nightlight...
So, any tips on the proper way to partially disassemble this printer to access that LED would be appreciated!

  • HELP Photosmart D7560 Windows 2000

Trying to install a new photosmart D7560 on a windows 2000 platform. The support center has drivers for this but when you try to run it states windows not supported. The cd also won't install and a call to support states it won't run under windows 2000 yet they sell it for windows 2000. Before I bought it I checked the support center and found drivers so it appeared it was supportrd so I purchase it. Now I find out it is false advertising. Any help would be appreciated?? Thanks.

Winamp is a program similar to iTunes that helps you to manage your music on your computer and then sync the music to your device. You can download it for free (just Google Winamp) or there is a Pro version for a small one-off payment. It supports Windows 2000. There's a wealth of information on the website, including a Help section, FAQ and a User Forum. As the program is open-source, it supports plug-ins which modify the software to suit a user's needs - you may be able to find a plug-in in order to use your Zen with it. I use it as I personally prefer it to Creative's own offering and find it'sa powerful but easy program to use.
MediaMonkey is a similar program although I haven't used it personally. Google it and you can download it for free. It has the plug-ins already installed to be able to detect and sync most MP3 players. It is supports Windows 2000 (in fact it supports Windows 95!).
    Hope this helps!

  • HP Photosmart D7560 Driver Install CD Is Not Compatible with Windows 7 Professional?

I put the install CD in my disc drive to re-install my D7560 printer and got an error message that said the D7560 was only compaible with Vista 64-bit, Vista and XP, that my OS was 601.64.  I then noticed it also said this on the CD.  How do I work around this problem to re-install my D7560?

    Browser - IE 11
PC - HP Z220 CMT workstation

    Hi,
It seems as an hardware problem rather than a software issue, we will have to deal with this one first.

  • HP Photosmart D7560 replacement ink cartridges

I need to replace the Black ink cartridge in my D7560 printer.
When I went to install the replacement cartridge it was nearly 1/8" wider than the original, and will not fit in the print head?
I bought 4 of these for when replacements were needed. All are HP's, Photosmart 564 black. The boxes are all marked HP CB316WN Option 140, and say clearly they are for my D7560 printer. What gives here?
    Marc, waiting to print

    Hi Gwain,
You certainly do have the right product for your printer. The cartridge should fit, but might be a bit snug.
Your printer takes 5 cartridges. The black cartridge you're trying to use should install on the right side, slightly separate from the color pack (the Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black photo). It won't fit into the black photo slot. Take a look at the cartridge replacement instructions on http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01500662&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=3396085&tmp... and let me know if that works for you.

  • Photosmart D7560 prints alignment page too often.

The D7560 is installed on my iMac. I bought the printer 2 years ago and it's been very frustrating. It runs out of black ink after a dozen pages or less. And it keeps wanting to do an alignment. That could be how my cartridge is getting wasted. Does anyone know how I can get it to perform a self cleaning without an alignment?
HP sent me a new Printhead and a set of cartridges and it worked for a short time. Now it's out of warranty and I really never got much use out of it. One thing I've learned is that I can print a boarding pass at the airport instead of home.
Would appreciate any help.  Thank you.

The C3150 has a sensor and it is not necessary to scan the alignment page for this model.  Make sure you are using fresh white paper for the alignment  Page 16 of the manual says:
Note If you have colored paper loaded in the input tray when you align the print cartridges, the alignment will fail. Load unused plain white paperinto the input tray, and then try the alignment again. If the alignment fails again, you might have a defective sensor or print cartridge. Contact HP Support. Go to www.hp.com/support. If prompted, choose your country/region, and then click Contact HP for information on calling for technical support.
Before calling HP support I would try cleaning the sensor with a damp Q-tip.  The sensor is a small black plastic item mounted on the lower right side of the carriage, toward the back and just to the right of the right cartridge.  The part to clean would be the area underneath the sensor.

  • Photosmart D7560 will not use Photo Black Ink

My D7560 will not use the Photo Black Ink. I am going through a lot of regular black ink. I have changed the print quality but it still did not use it. What am I doing wrong?

  • Error code paper mismatch for photosmart D7560

trying to print checks but error code indicates paper mismatch, does not match paper size or type...just spits out my blank check

I had this problem for so long and finally figured it out.  HP was no help except for the suggestion to switch it to "draft" quality.
Depending on your operating system, it will be different...  but basically... get to your printer's preferences ... Click on the "Paper / Quality" tab... and make sure that "Paper Type" (XP) or "Output Quality" (Windows 7) is set to AUTOMATIC.  That's it.  In Windows 7 ... there are a little more steps ... For Windows 7 you might have to go to printing preferences, change media type to plain, click on advanced, and change "Output Quality" to AUTOMATIC.  OH YEA... AND MAKE SURE TO CLICK "APPLY" AND NOT JUST "OK".  It works like a charm.  In Windows 7 The "Quality Settings" will automatically check the "Custom" checkbox when you put it on AUTOMATIC.  That's good... that's the way you want it..  So, the Quality Settings "Custom" checkbox will be checked and you will see that "Normal" is still selected but it is grayed out.  Hope this helps somebody.  I was going to go on HP's site and tell them the same thing since they haven't figured it out yet, but I don't want to make a new account... I have too many accounts already.  If someone has an HP customer blog account... feel free to copy and paste this in there if you want.  Good Luck People .
