HP Photosmart eStation printer (CQ140B)
that one i have i bought it 2 weeks ago and everything went good untill today
i want to scan someting but my estation or tablad wont turn on wen i press the button to turn him on he will go on but then de display says HP PHOTOSMART eSTATION... that display is now on for 2 hours....... and of course i thought to turn him off but he wont LOL so what do i need 2 do before i go back to the store ???

How To Register For a New eFax Account on the Photosmart eStation

If you ever find yourself unable to log in to your eFax account and you have contacted HP Technical Support and eFax only to find the problem cannot be fixed by either party, there is a way to register for a different account but the only way to do this involves using a Photosmart eStation. The error you may get will read "Invalid Login" and is only applicable on the Photosmart eStation, HP Envy Series, and the Photosmart 7510 regardless of whether you are trying to create a new account or just access one that already exists, here are the steps to fix that:
1. Go to www.efax.com and sign in.
2. Select "Update Account" and then select the profile tab.
3. Change the current contact email to a dummy/alternate email (must have a phone number listed on this page before changes will go into effect).
a) Using the @hpeprint.com email may cause problems.
b) Log out of eFax account.
4. Go to the E-station and follow these instructions to be able to register for a new account:
a) On the top of the E-station, select the 3rd Menu button (3 lines) and go to
b) Select Settings then
c) Tools then
d) Advanced then
e) Applications and
f) Manage Applications
g) next Filter > select All and wait for all the apps to load.
h) Scroll down to very bottom for Webfax
i) and then Clear Data in this section
j) Select the Home button at the top and
k) Select Efax and register for a new account with a preferred email and zip code
l) Write down the new phone number and check your email for a new 4-digit PIN
5. Repeat these steps to clear the Web Fax data and then try to login to efax.com on the printer by selecting
a) eFax button
b) Settings
c) Account and upgrade information
d) Change
e) After selecting chance, in this area, login to eFax on the printer with the new number and pin.
6. The best test to ensure everything is working now is to send yourself an eFax so you can check for incoming and outgoing processes to be just as you expect it to be.
7. Print the ePrint info page so that the printer's ePrint email address will be associated with the new eFax account.
And that is the trick on how to get a new eFax account if you are experiencing issues with signing in from the front panel of the printer. If you do not have access to a Photosmart eStation, then contact HP Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you live in North America or are an English-speaking customer for assistance with this step.

The efax doesn't work in my HP Photosmart eStation. I can print via wifi and have internet

I just purchased a HP Photosmart eStation. I can print fine from my computers and can see the internet via yahoo on the Zeen. I have an efax account and in settings it states that my "account status is currently up to date". However, when I type a fax number in (or any number) and press continue, I hear a sound indicating the button's been pressed and then nothing. If i enter in additional digit, then the SW knows that I have entered in an additional digit. Also for whatever reason, the "Installing Update" deosn't work either. I've tried it multiple times. It seems like it's working, but then I get an error message "Product Update Error" A time tine out has occurred while waiting for your printer to be updated. Finally, on the System Notification Page, it states the SD card is removed (do I have an SD card)? Do I need one? It also states Syncing Networks (Do not undock while syncing)-- it's said this for >24 hours.

I am literally on my 4th E-station printer. My problem arises when I update the Zeen tablet software. Upon doing so, the printer icon disappears from the Zeen tablet. When I try to use certain features, it states that I must dock the Zeen tablet (which is already done) and sync. Which I can not do because the printer does not recognize that the Zeen tablet is docked. I did a factory restore, which rendered the Zeen tablet useless - the 'continue' button on the tablet in the Wizard setup is grayed out and I can not continue. I brought it back today and it was replaced with yet ANOTHER. i do not recommend updating the sofware. It is what is causing all of my problems. I inadvertantly did it this time and regret it. I have advised everyone in my house NOT to update my Zeen tablet. Thankfully I bought the black tie protection when I bought the printer. Although - HP did send me a replacement once, but it was a huge hassle - and that one is the one I just had to replace yet again

I JUST GOT A HP PHOTOSMART ESTATION.   THE PART THAT DETACHES LOOKS JUST LIKE A IPAD.
What i'd like to know is can it be used just like an IPad? and does HP have Videos that can show and/or teach us
how to use this detachable part to it's fullest abilities?    The printer makes great pictures. I really like it. I had no problem connecting it up. long as you read good and follow instructions it all worked perfect the first time i connected it!

and enter "zeen" in the search field you can find 23 courses that tell how to use the printer/zeen combination and also what to do if something goes wrong.
They actually seem to have some very good courses. Some take just a few minutes.
Also the Zeen isn't exactly like an ipad. It's more like a control station. It's designed to do a few more things, but it's not an ipad by any stretch.

PhotoSmart eStation Zeen must have the routers BROADCAST of the SSID set to on. Very insecure!

When configuring the Photosmart Estation printer C510a to use the WiFi network, I discovered that the Zeen does not allow that the router hides its SSID. Instead the Zeen wants that the SSID is broadcasts by the router to be succesfull connecting to the network. First let the router broadcast the network SSID and then disabling the broadcast does not help to let the Zeen connect to the network while the SSID is not being broadcast. I think this is a bug in the software of the Zeen because the printer itself does connect to the network even when the SSID is not being broadcast.
I wonder if this is solved when Android 2.2 is being released by HP. According to the rumours I have read on the internet this will soon come out.
Hope someone can help here. I already talked to HP support about this problem, but they could not help me on a short notice. This question has been escalated within HP support.

I understand you're looking to use your Zeen tablet without the HP Photosmart eStation All-in-One Printer. I would like to help.
My colleague @Sunshyn2005 addresses this same query in detail in another HP Support Forum post. Click here to review that post. Essentially, the Zeen tablet is a component of the printer and not a standalone device. As you no longer have the printer it's not likely you'll be able to continue using the tablet.

Print from iphone 4 to hp photosmart eStation

I am trying to print from an iphone 4 to the hp photosmart eStation, but my phone can't find the printer. the phone keeps saying no printer available. Both devices are on the same wireless network and I have tried the power cycle method. Can someone please help?

What kind of router are you using? This is important since the ability to use AirPrint is dependant on whether or not the router supports bonjour/multicast. If you let me know, I'll try to get back to you with some more suggestions asap!

Cannot get ipad, iphones to print using wireless on Photosmart estation e510

I have a photosmart estation e-510 and I am trying to get my assorted ipads, iphones to print wireless using this printer.
I have downloaded the iprint apps, and I have the wireless feature working on the printer. The Apple products will not recognize the printer. i am using a Cisco dual band router.
I have searched on the forums,on HP website no help.
Any assistance would be appreciated

Let's start with a restart of the router. Pull its power plug for a few seconds, plug back in and wait for it to start up.
If that does not do it, restart your printer and your iOS devices. Make sure all devices have the lastest firmware.

Battery low on my Zeen for HP Photosmart Estation 510c Series printer.

I have the HP Photosmart estation 510c series printer & can't remove the zeen from docking station without the battery dieing. And the zeen will not recharge while on the docking station. Any suggestions anyone? I have no AC adaptor, so is it possible to recharge on the docking station and if so how? Right now my battery status says discarging with 0% battery life.

I had the same problem with the B210 series printer. I don't know if this was the actual fix but I got this to work by choosing my printer from the Select Printer Software option from the Print Using drop down in Add Printer. Even though my printer was already listed in the Print Using box by manually selecting it I was able to get past this problem.

Photosmart eStation C510a won't print anything

Hello I've owned a Photosmart eStation C510a for 3 years that is used in a computer running with Windows 8.1. Everything was ok until a couple days ago, when I tried to print something. The printer had not enough ink and the page resulted was unreadable, so I replaced the black ink (That's the one I use the most) and tried again but the problem started: Nothing happended. The printer stopped working and now I'm getting the following message: "New printhead Ink Alert. Used cardtriges might not complete the printhead start-up" I replaced the blue, yellow and magenta cardtriges and clicked "ok" with no results; the printer didn't show the "Now printing" message that was supposed to apper acordding with the videos I watched, only made some noises and froze everytime I try to print something. Printer maintenance tools don't work either. (No sounds, no actions in none of the options). I tried a full reset but the message still appears when I turn on the printer. I don't know what else to do. Any help provided would be appreciated. Giss

I require some asisstance with my Photosmart eStation C510a. The zeen will not sync with the printer, and I cannot seem to connect it with the internet. When I first installed this printer, it was fine, both the zeen and printer were connected and in sync.
An update was automatically installed by H.P. which appeared to create a problem with the zeen , being unable to sync with the printer, the zeen also lost the internet connection. The printer is working fine, and responds to the zeens commands for printing,
scanning and copying, but I would love to have the internet connection from the zeen, whereby I can use it for emailing etc.
Is there anyone out there that can help?

On a estation can you disable the notification on paper you receive after you send a fax?

HI, in the efax setup menu their should be an option "automatic send fax confirmation" set that to No and it should stop.

What I recommend is to touch on the weather widget. Select "edit" and delete all of the cities that are not your own. If yours is not listed, select the + sign and add your city. Go back to the home page; it may take a few minutes to update the information and show the correct weather.

I have a Photosmart Premium and wish to use Efax. The eprintCenter advice on sending eFaxes says to click on the print app on the home screen, but there isn't a print app.

At this time your printer does not support eFax. Here are the printers that currently support eFax:
-Photosmart eStation C510a
-Envy 110 e-All-in-One
-Photosmart 7510 e-All-in-One
*eFax app is not provided for any All-in-One printer containing a physical analog fax card

The HP Photosmart D110 Series printer does not come with the eFax app.
By clicking on the following links and looking in the specs tab the web pages show that the following printers support the eFax app at this time.
