HP Photosmart P1100 won't feed, rollers not turning, tried all recommended solutions.
All other functions appear to be working normally. Here are the symptoms when I use the print test page function:
The print head moves back and forth making all the regular sounds when it prints a first page but no paper is feed. The rollers never turn. The Out of Paper and Load Paper and Press OK messages appear. When I press OK the same thing happens again.
By trial and observation I surmise that a small black plastic ‘lever’ on the left side is not being engaged (pushed back). The print head mechanism blocks it when it moves to the left side so I can’t see it. I removed the duplex unit and was able to easily move the rollers up or down. If I push back on black lever mentioned above and turn the rollers up they move with some difficulty and paper is fed while a black bar at the front of the rollers goes down and snaps up.
I rely on my HP printer and I believe in fixing things that can be fixed rather then throw them out and add to landfill and environmental problems.

Black ink still not working after spending many hours trying to sort. I've cleaned the printhead carefull several times (is immaculate now) and run the system clean up and alignment functions several many times too. I've cleaned the metal connecting points. I wiggled things carefully. I've attempted printing multiple pages in b/w in case it was going to take a while to get the ink flowing again. I've replaced one (expensive) new black cartridge with another brand new (expensive) cartridge and still nothing. This machine is probably out of warranty but seriously not very old. It really ought to be working okay. We use it regularly a little bit every week. Any ideas?The document here has troubleshooting steps that may help resolve black not printing on your Photosmart b110a. Be sure to check the vents as shown in solution six, step three. If the above does not resolve the problem the post here may help.

Itunes won't see ipod. Have tried all available solutions I could find.

I have tried all the solutions apple has offered online. I will not reset my phone to factory settings unless it is a last resort. What is Apple doing to fix this? I had my last Iphone last for more than 2 years and I hve had this one less than a year. I have a 4th gen iPod touch that won't power up! I tried all the traditional stuff. I want to know how to tell if the battery is good. itunes see's the ipod in recovery mode. Tried dfu mode and did not work. Any ideas? I can hear the PC beep when plugging it in! I suspect a bad battery and trying to charge it ina wall charger made it hot!
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. The appointment is free.

The same story. No 3G after updating to 6.1. Told my daughter temporarily not to do an update on her iPad with 6.01. We've exchanged SIMs. I inserted her SIM in my iPad - 3G appeared immediately. And my SIM in her iPad with ios 6.01 also WORKS FINE. We use the same provider - Megafon Moscow. After attempting to revert SIMs to original configuration, 3G disappeared on my iPad again. Don't know what's going on with SIM during the update to 6.1

My iphone will not turn on.... it froze earlier today and now it will not turn on all i get is a black screen with the apple symbol every once in awhile... also it will not connect to my computer so i can reset it to factory settings
Sammyhunter lets get you back in action! Has there been any physical/water damage to the device? Try pressing and holding the home and power button together. Once the Apple symbol appears release both buttons. Keep us posted!

Is there a lock symbol at the top of the screen next to the battery indicator ? If there is, then depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (rotation lock or mute notifications), then you can lock/unlock the rotation by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. If there isn't a lock symbol then try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

Ipod not working, tried all suggestions i could find none worked
I have a 20 gb ipod that my mom got from sam's club, there is an hp thing on the back so guess that means it's and hp ipod and not a straight apple ipod which my brother says is bad, it came with a griffen itrip and a griffen powerpod car charger, that's all the background about it that i know.
so i was listening to it today and went to change the song and it didn't play so i figured i must have paused it accidentally, so i hit the play button again, and it changed songs..so then i decided to turn it of and turn it back on again, and it didn't turn back on, it started making wierd clicking noises, so i plugged it into a charger to see if that would fix it and that didn't work either, then i plugged it into my computer and it didn't show up on my computer or in itunes, so i went to this website and started looking around, i did the whole hold down select and menu for 6 second thing and the apple sign showed up, but nothing else happened so i tried to restore it, but the updater wo't regonize it, so then i downloaded the new updater, and it says that it won't mount, so then i did all the stuff i could understand on the "what to do it your ipod won't mount" page i tried forcing it into disk mode like it said to but i wouldn't go, then it just kinda went into disk mode by itself, but the updater still didn't recognize it, so then i tried downloading the new itunes and all that stuff and tried removing the itunes software from my computer, and i guess i did b/c i can't find it now... and now my ipod stopped making the noise, but it's random displaying either the apple symbol, the DO NOT DISCONNECT symbol and that folder with the exclamation point, i tried all the stuff under " folder with an exclamation point" page as well nothing has worked...

I was running Firefox fine just yesterday. I screwed up the registry a litle while removing an installed program completely, so I restored the system and everything appeared to work fine. I then decided to play an old video game, Return to Krondor, which was made back in 1998, so I ran the program with no other programs running in compatibility for windows 98. After finishing the game, I closed it and put the computer in hibernation mode. I come back today and firefox will not run at all. It is not running in the background and there are no programs running. There are no services running which could interfere with it. I think somehow Firefox may think I'm in compatibility mode still, but I have no idea.
I'm running windows Vista 32 - bit with an AMD 2.4ghz processor, 4gb ram on an Emachine computer. I have already tried system restore, restart, processes etc. Nothing works. I can still run Internet explorer and all other programs.The person that I was assisting, has Windows 7 which has 64 bit system. Her browser was IE 10.
Was IE11 ever offered (or installed) via Windows Update?
Is her computer currently fully-patched at Windows Update?
Is Adobe Shockwave Player v12.1 (or higher) installed on her computer?

This problem has been brought up and I tried every possible solution...uninstalled and re-installed...updated, etc. The video shows the opening frame, but when I try to play, I get the same error message "am error occured, please try again later" The video plays fine in IE.
