Hp photosmart plus b210 wont print on dark paper

If I use dark paper the printer will just spit it out and print on the next white page. Is there a setting to allow printing on dark paper?

I am glad I could help. I hope you do not have too many of these to print - while the strips are reusable it could get a bit tiring if there are many to print .

Do you get these lines only when printing with ePrint? If not, it sounds like a printhead issue. Here are the steps to fix the issue.
1. Go to the setup menu on the printers front screen.
2. Go to tools.
3. Go to clean printhead
You may need to do this a few times to completely remove the lines in the print.

Photosmart Plus B210 series is stuck on "canceling job"

Photosmart Plus B210 series printer is stuck on "canceling job." I have tried deleting and adding it back on. Printer is working on its own and appears to be recognized by my iMac but I can't access the supply levels or print anything. Under printer setup the location is blank...suggestions? help?

I can see you're running into compatibility issues. I would like to help.
I would suggest Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once it is uninstalled, I would suggest putting your system into clean boot mode within the Microsoft configuration. You can do so by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest reinstalling the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.

OK to print iron-on transfer sheet w/HP Photosmart Plus B210 or HP Officejet 6500 E709Printer?

I have two color printers, but want to make sure it is SAFE to print an iron-on transfer using them. I am not sure if they are laser or inkjet printers (kind of not the tech-y type!). I don't want to melt the paper inside the printer and break my machine. Which machine can I print my iron-on's with:
HP OfficeJet 6500 E709 Series
or
HP Photosmart Plus B210 Series

I have done something similar with an inkjet printer in the past (with succesful results) but as I'm not familar with the exact transfer paper you're using I can't be sure that you'll get the same results.
They are both inkjet printers and there shouldn't be an issue printing iron-on's as long as the transfer paper is a standard size and feeds through the printer.

Photosmart Plus B210 - Error Message when attempting to add printer

When attempting to add our Photosmart Plus B210 on a computer with Windows 7, we get the error message: "Active Directory Domain Service is currently unavailable". We have installed the drivers from the disc and have attempted both USB and Wireless installation--neither have been successful. We have uninstalled and reinstalled mulltiple times as well as followed another forum suggestion to run msconfig and change startup to diagnostic, etc. HP Print & Scan doctor has not helped resolve. Any ideas out there?

I see that you are having some issue with the installation of your printer to your computer. I also see that you have ran the HP Print and Scan Doctor and it did not resolve the issue.
One step that I do suggest we try is to run the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.

HP Photosmart Plus B210 the printhead installed is not intended for use in this printer or damaged

I changed a black cartridge on Friday and printed a couple of pages with it. Left work and when I came back this monday morning, I had to change the color cartridges, all three. After doing so, I got this message and it hasnt left the screen since.
I followed the advice on cleaning the 3 areas with coffee filters as mentioned by a similar post, reset the printer but I still got the same message after turning it back on.
What else can I try? The printer is about 1 year old and I only print 20 pages a month with it.

Please make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector. I just want to see if this makes a difference. Follow this entire HP document on 'Problem with Printhead,' 'Printer Failure,' 'Ink System Failure,' or a '0x...' or a 'C2...' Error M...

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you are no longer able to print to your Photosmart Plus B210 printer from Microsoft Word.
I am presuming that you are using a Mac Operating System as indicated at the top of your post. I have done some research and found Microsoft’s document titled Troubleshooting damaged documents in Word for Mac. It has the steps when printing from Microsoft Word 2008 for Mac.

Foggy pictures with Photosmart Plus B210

Hi.
I am having quality issues when printing my holiday pictures on my HP Photosmart Plus B210.
The pictures have been taken with a Nikon SLR and printed directly from the SD card.
regardless of the photo quality, all not fully lit parts of the picture becomes VERY foggy an lacks details when printed.
And it does not even have to be that dark areas. Even just dark colors in bright pictures get foggy.
I hope someone can give me some advise as to whether something can be done in regards to printer settings.

just got new pc. Also gOT A CABLE FOR THE ABOVE "WIRELESS" PRINTER.
added the printer thru the add printer process.
Tryed to download the driver from the HP website, but continually get download failure - Failed to load C:\Program Files\HP\HP Photosmart Plus B210 series\bin\DIFxAPI.dll'.LoadLibrary error code 193
Also have received HP instalation failure msi 1603 document and tried the details from that process.
No success

I see that you are having some installation issues.
Lets start off by removing the usb cable from the printer and the computer and leave it disconnected until further notice.
Download and run the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.
The wizard will give you connectivity options so please do not connect any cables until prompted to do so.

IPad no longer connecting to HP Photosmart Plus B210 after changing black tore cartridge

I had my iPad nicely connected to my HP Photosmart Plus B210. However, after changing the black tore cartridge I am no longer able to print from the iPad. The printer statur report and the wireless network test both show everything is OK. Most of the time the iPad recognizes the printer and accepts the print command without any error messages. However, sometimes it returns the message that the printer is offline even though it found the printer earlier. Any solutions? Thanks

I too have a B210 and the IPAD has printed marvelously via WIFI for about a half a year. Now, when the IPAD print radio button appears it still lists the B210 is available as if all is good but the printer doesn't come to life when the print command is issued. Printer sez it is connected to the router, too. I have reset the router and the printer a number of times and the printer sez everything is good. But, I can't print any longer from the IPAD. bummer.

Unfortunately, this printer doesn't have a fax function. You can also check the printer's product specifications.

My new Photosmart Plus B210 us not listed in the drop-down printer menu when trying to print from Windows Photo Gallery. I have to "add" the printer each time I want to print.

I'm trying to scan a document into my computer from an printers\hpf7a4f8 (hp photosmart plus b210.

I'm trying to schan a doc into my computer from a Printers\HPF7A4F8 (HP Photosmart Plus B210 series). I'm using windows 7. All other funtions seem to work but when I try to scan the doc, the HP message says it doesn't find the printer (yes, the printer it brought up to ask what I wanted to do).

Okay, no problem.
If the top bar menu is not displayed in top left of your iTunes Library, use the CTRL+B keys to turn it on:
On that menu, use File/Add Folder to Library and navigate to the folder you wish to add:
If you wish to add just one song, notice the File/Add File to Library command on that menu as well.
Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop from the file's location into your iTunes Library.
That's all there is to it.
By the way, it is possible to have Amazon MP3s downloaded to your computer and then automatically added to the iTunes Library by the Amazon downloader. I do it all the time.

Photosmart Plus B210 won't respond

I have just purchased a Photosmart Plus B210 printer and it seems to become unresponsive after being on overnight. I can not even turn off the printer or activate the touch screen. If I unplug the cord and plug it back in everything seems to work again.
Any suggestions?

Any updates on the firmware update? I just bought a B210a last week and have this issue(B06998FC). Did an online update with printer, said all updates were current.. Trying to decide whether to return printer or wait for firmware fix..

PhotoSmart Plus E B210A Printer Settings

I just bought the Photosmart Plus E (B210a) printer, and I think some settings are missing in the printer properties/preferences. Usually "Color Management" (advanced) seems to provide a wide variety of adjustments to the ink settings. All I get are monitor/display menus.
The printer is very nice, and It seems to be functioning normally, but I can't find any menus to adjust color saturation (for the individual inks), brightness, cool/warmth, sharpness, etc. There were also presets for draft, best, charts & graphs, and others to select for quick setting adjustments.
Does the B210 not offer any of these customizations? I've tried the driver on the CD and the driver from the website, and neither make a difference. My previous few Photosmart printers always had these options.
I was told to try setting the driver for the 9800 Deskjet, but that didn't help either.
Maybe I am trying to find a menu that doesn't exist, but documentation seems to hint at these settings...
Can anyone confirm that such menus exist? Anyone have an idea for a solution?

Wow, that was fast. Well, before I give you a "kudos", I should've mentioned I tried that driver. Several people referenced that, and so I used it as requested. Still, no luck.
I must admit, I didn't install the coupon option, or the bing bar, but I assume my color options don't depend upon those items being installed!
So...I've tried the driver that CD came with, the driver on HP's site, and two alternate drivers (9800 and 920c deskjets).
I'm really stumped, as I'd like to keep the printer, but nobody seems to know how to fix this issue...or if it is, indeed, an issue. Someone in Tokyo said those features don't exist for this printer (which I do not believe to be true).
I don't know if something is blocking the driver from connecting to these options, but it is very frustrating.
