HP Photosmart Plus B210e but cannot get it to connect to my Verizon Fios Router
I have the HP Photosmart Plus B210e but cannot get it to connect to my Verizon Fios Router which is an Actiontex M1424-WR. The printer finds the router name and I enter the WEP key, but it does not connect. The Diagnostics Summary listed No Filtering status as FAIL. I logged into my router and verified that no MAC Filtering is enabled. I have two laptops that have no problem connecting to the router.

This is a part of the larger MacBook Pro connectivity issue. There are several related threads dealing with the MBP's networking problems. If your unit is suffering from this type of difficulty, good luck ... (or a long ethernet cable)
(PS Everybody please make noise on this one so apple comes up with a solution.)

Have installed HP Photosmart Plus with ePrint Wireless. Have been unable to get unit to print email messages submitted as advertised. Any suggestions?

I'll need additional information to assist; are we using Airprint or an Apple device email client and using ePrint? What device are you trying to print from? What is your current netrwork configuration (router make and model, wireless or ethernet etc)

You need a router that sends out a wifi signal. Or you can go to public library, fast food joint, etc.

after upgrades, suddenly no music is on or can be synched to the iPhone. It is all there on my computer but cannot get it to synch back. I tried copying over older itl fils t no avail.
If I click on music under the iPhone icon within iTunes, it shows on a dozen or so voice memos. (also shows them under "Voice memos").

Remember that MILLIONS of iDevices have been sold, a couple of those just this past Xmas season and hence all with iOS 6 preinstalled. "Many complain in the forums" is a number that ranges in the 10's or 100's: i.e., a minuscule amount of the total devices out there. And. of course, nobody comes here to gush excitedly about how well his iGadget works; everybody here (save those of us regular users who attempt to help, we're not Apple employees) has a gripe, grumble or complaint.
I can tell you from personal experience that my i5 with iOS 6.1.4 works as desired. All my colleagues' iPhones with iOS 6 work as expected. And we have a particularly flaky Wi-Fi environment thanks to our less than stellar netadmins.
But in the end, it is entirely up to you. Will you bite the bullet, or wait some more? Check the new stuff that came with iOS 6 and decide whether or not to risk it. -
I have purchased the ios 3.1 update for my 1st generation iPod Touch, but cannot get it to download. When I check the summary on iTunes, it says that I have the most up-to-date version of 2.1. I really need to update to 3.1 to download some games for my son. I have an iPad and do not want to purchase a new iPod if I can get some games on the current one.

I have successfully changed my apple ID and password, but cannot get my Mac computer to change it on iCloud. I have accessed system preferences, iCloud and sign out. But now I do not know how to sign in using my new id and password. I would like iCloud to work on my Mac so that it will sync to my iPhone and iPad. I have installed all of the latest software. How do I change this account on my Mac?
Do you have your Mac backed up?
If not, you should use Time Machine to back up your Mac to an external hard drive just "in case".
But if all you did was change your existing ID, then deleting the Calendar infomation from the Mac when you sign out should not be an issue. Since it is the same Apple ID, it is the same iCloud account (just with a different name), so your Contacts, Calendars, etc. are stored in iCloud. When you sign back in, you will have the option to sync Contacts, Calendars, Notes, etc. with iCloud - it should already be checked. Just sign back in, and your iCloud info will re-download to your Mac.
I just tried this, and all of my stuff showed up when I signed back in. Notes took a couple of seconds to load once I opened them, but they are all there.
Note: If you are signing on with a brand new Apple ID, then nothing will be downloaded because it will be an entirely different iCloud account. But if it is the same Apple/iCloud/iTunes ID with just a new email, then it will all be restored.

I am using WiFi for my laptop from the hotel room in an international location.
I have tried everything but cannot get my iPhone5 to connect to the internet from the room (where room # and name need to be entered first) OR the lobby (open WiFi).
Cell is off, Roaming is off.
I tried turning phone off, turning on with Home button pressed to reset, Forget Network and re-connect. No luck.
A friend has an iPhone 5 and it works just fine.

I keep getting an error pop-up when I try to access my email. The pop-up says Cannot Get Mail The connection to the server failed. I get this pop-up on both my iPhone 5 and my iPad. I can still access my email, but the pop-up is real annoying. Can someone please help me with this? -Stu

It sounds like you're seeing an alert message when opening Mail on your iOS devices. Do you have multiple email accounts setup on the devices? Take a look at the article below, it provides suggestions that will resolve most issues that cause an alert like that to appear in when starting the Mail app.

Hi! I've got CS3 Design Standard - the actual disks and Software License certificate. It was installed on my laptop which crashed and could therefore not be uninstalled. I have now installed it on my new MacBook Pro, but cannot get it registered with the serial number. Is it because it wasn't uninstalled on the previous laptop? What to do now?? Thx!
Maybe this can help someone else... I simply had to properly uninstall CS3 and reinstall it again after that. I think that sorted it! I also remember having a similar issue with Macs at work a couple of years back. Not sure whether the same applies to CS5/CS6. i have a problem with mail. the spelling and grammer check box before sending the messege is no longer there. I did everything but cannot get it back. is ther anyone who knows how to get the box with spelling and grammer checks before sending the mail.
Also the mail is acting very funny by not getting the rules work in a proper method. Is ther a software to repair mail.i did both of them, but still the while sending the mail the diolog box is not showing up and also the spelling and grammer does not do the spelling check.
