HP Prime Main App screen won't show up?

Hi there,
I just got one of these HP Prime graphing calculators. It have charged it fully, and after turning it ON for the first time came up laguage selection, the problem is I could not select any of them!
I managed to scape it and go to the blank screen which can do normal calculations, but when I press the [Apps] key comes up the same language setting screen and again I can not go any further!
There are some other keys which they take me to the same screen and no luck.
What am I missing here? What needs to be done?

OK, I sort it by myself, by hard resetting the calculator.
How? Inseted a pin into the reset hole, which is placed at the back of the device.
Job done!

hmm, this seems not exactly to be a problem, you just have to set up your network correctly in rc.conf. Look at the beginners guide in the wiki for how to do so.
this is the example for a dhcp network from the wiki:

App store won't show 10.9.2 update

I have a mid-2010 model Macbook pro running a clean install of Mavericks 10.9.1, and the app store won't show the newly released 10.9.2 update as an update.

Same here. So I downloaded the Combo update from

instead. Took no time at all. Great to see the Combo updates back.

Just Installed CC - Apps screen won't load

I just downloaded CC, and I want to install Photoshop and Lightroom, but I can't even get the app screen to open. It just keeps loading. I have tried restarting and accessing the downloads through the website, and the same thing happens. It just keeps showing the circular loading icon. Help, please!Just

I had this issue and called tech support. Here is what eventually worked for my situation.
Force Quit all the Creative Cloud apps first with Activity Monitor
Uninstall CC for desktop
Renaming AAMUpdater folder in Library>Application Support>Adobe>AAMUpdater (put .old at end of name)
Renaming OOBE folder in Library>Application Support>Adobe>OOBE (put .old at end of name)
Renaming Adobe Application Manager folder in User>Library>Application Support>Adobe>AdobeApplicationManager (put .old at end of name)
Renaming OOBE folder in User>Library>Application Support>Adobe>Adobe>OOBE (put .old at end of name)
Also deleted these folders in the process: Adobe Application Manager, Adobe Creative Cloud, OOBE ( would tell you where they were located but they are in my trash now and I am afraid if I put them back it will mess Creative Cloud up)
Running CC Cleaner: Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
Remove everything you do not use. I only left CS5 (still installed on my machine).
Reinstall Creative Cloud
That is what worked for me. Hope it helps. I am running OS X 10.9.5

App Store won't show updates.

The App Store Updates section is blank. It won't load the apps needing updates but the badge icon shows that there should be 16. Featured, Top Charts, Genius, and Purchased all appear. This is an iPad 2 on iOS 6.1.3.

There have been numerous reports on the forum today regarding this issue. It seems to be an issue at Apple, but no information has been posted on the status site.

Screen won't show more than 4

Anyone else finding this? No matter how many computers I select in the "View Options" of my Observe window, I can only see 4 out of my 5 computers. If I select only 4 in the View Options (while having all 5 selected in my non-Observe list), then it allows me to use my arrow keys to move my screen to see the fifth one. However, if I select 6 or 8 in my "View Options", I will still only see 4, but now the arrow key option to navigate to my fifth computer is gone. When I grab the screen with my cursor and drag, I can barely see the edge of my fifth computer, but can't actually navigate to it. (When I let go it springs back to just showing the first 4) I have to try fooling the app by telling it that I only want to see 4, (with all 5 selected in my computer list), then open the Observe window and then using my arrow keys to access the fifth. Any suggestions on how to get them all to show up in the one Observe window?

Thank you for the response. You have been helpful in more than one way. I was not aware you could have more than one Observe window open. I will try that. It makes me wonder if Apple is aware of this bug, since it appears that 3.7.2 has been out there since Feb. 2014, why nobody caught this rather obvious deficiency, when they plan to fix it... the list goes on. I've been a fanatical apologist for Apple since the 1980s, but more and more I see a company which seems oblivious to what consumers want and is unresponsive to their concerns. The way of the future?

App Store won't show updates if automatic update is disabled

After updating to iOS 7, I enabled automatic updating of Apps in the App Store. I decided I didn't want to do that so I then disabled it. That was yesterday. Today the App Store update page didn't show any pending updates despite having a badge number (which went away when I went into the store). I knew there were updates since they downloaded to iTunes yesterday so I tried killing the App Store app and loading it again, but nothing changed. Finally I enable automatic updates and sure enough the App Store showed there were 11 pending updates and started downloading them.
When it was done, I turned automatic updates off again, but the App Store doesn't appear to check for or show updates if downloading of automatic updates is turned on and then back of. Is this working for anyone?

I am having similar problems. The App Store icon badge is not updating. I do not use automatic updates. I update all my apps on iTunes on a Windows PC and then sync my iPads and iPhone. The icon badge does not update until the App Store is initiated and Updates is selected. Another strange behavior is that if App Store was initiated and Updates was selected with one or more updates displayed AND the the device is locked, when the device is unlocked the Updates display will be cleared and indicate that all apps are up to date!!!! The App Store must be exited and Updates reselected before the updates are displayed and the appropriate icon badge count is displayed.
You can only rely on an appropriate update count on the device by initiating the App Store (from the Home screen) and selecting Updates.

Edit screen won't show me my pictures to edit. Full screen goes black.

My first mac. Trying to import pictures from my external drive (FAT32) I imported all my photos, all looks fine, however, when I try to edit one, It takes me to the edit screen with all the photos in the event on top, but it doesn't show the photo I'm trying to edit. I even tried to look at photos fullscreen, and I get the black screen with the top and bottom bars, but no photo on the screen, and after a second, it just all goes black. Interesting thing though, is that I can play a slide show. Has anyone ever had this issue, any help for this newb will be greatly appreciated.

It could be a permissions thing. Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library. Select the option to repair permission of the library.
Post back with the results.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

Macbook with broken screen, won't show on external.

Hi, I have a macbook with a broken LCD screen, (sadly have no idea how it happened... was asleep, woke up, turned it on, screen was shattered) so I can't access settings or anything. I have everything hooked up, being a keyboard, mouse, external display... I try booting it right away and closing the lid, nothing happens. I had the hard drive replaced a month before this happened, so I highly doubt its that.. Any advice would help. I cant afford a new screen, and working on my ipad like I currently am isnt very easy.. I was running OS X Lion at the time of break.. help?

Sounds almost exactly what happened to mine. I was recording video Saturday night when the phone froze. I pulled the battery, tired to reboot but have a dark screen. If I hold it under direct sunlight I can see the display faintly and the phone operates fine.
I took it in to Verizon today and they told me it was a hardware issue and tried to get me to upgrade. After reading this, it sounds suspicious that it happened the same day and same symptoms.

IPhone 5c... broken??? Home screen won't show up and backlight won't turn off, vibrates constantly

So... as the title suggests, my iPhone 5c is acting up. I can't get the home screen to come on, but the backlight never turns off. People have suggested turning it off then back on, but because I can't see the home screen, the fact that I can't turn it off is most likely half the problem. On top of that, it is vibrating constantly, and I don't know if that's because I'm receiving messages (which is unlikely) or if it's just really broken... Yes, as rbrylawski stated, the toilet/water has finally finished off your phone. While it may have survived for a while, corrosion has done its evil job and killed your device. If you have Apple Care Plus, then you can get an out of warranty replacement for just the deductible. If not, then an out of warranty replacement will be a little more.

App Updates Won't Show in App Store

When I go in to the App Store, everything works perfectly except the Updates tab. Whenever I press it, it sends me a notification saying: "Cannot connect to iTunes Store". I can update apps by manually searching for it and then updating it, but I cannot see the apps in which I need to update.

Login screen won't show up after "Starting Mac OS X..."

Hi all,
I have a little bit of a problem with an iBook that I was using a couple of months ago. (I haven't had time to use it since then...)
What happens is that I'll turn it on, and it'll start and everything, but a few seconds after "Starting Mac OS X..." disappears, the screen turns black and turns into a command prompt and asks me to log in through the prompt. After I log in, the screen just turns blue, basically like the "Starting Mac OS X..." screen, but without the window. Nothing happens after that.
Can anyone please tell me what's wrong? Can someone help me solve it?

Is the app listed is your Purchase history?
Do you have any Restrictions set that would prevent installing those apps? Settings>General>Restrictions

Hi, I'm Julia. I have a Blackberry Curve 8520. Somehow, when I press the button that is supposed to bring me to my apps, it won't show anything. It just stays on my home screen. Does anyone know a way on how to get them to show, because I have important files in my notes app. Thanks!

Have you tried doing a battery pull? If a battery pull does not correct the issues then you may have a software issues.

Some image imports from Photoshop won't show in After Effects

I NEED HELP ASAP
I'm creating an app and I used Photoshop. Imported the psd file into After effects. But somehow all the images won't show, only text.
I'm trying to animate it so it looks like a normal scroll up and down from an iPhone. But all the images which are off screen won't show up once I drag it into screen but at the same time the text are all fine. What is wrong? I definitely imported the psd file correctly, since I did it with another project a couple days ago.
Please help. Due date is Monday.
The only thing what's differnt is. The images are all in a clipping mask in Photoshop. All the circles are white shapes and I put the images as clipping mask to that.
Once I scrolled it up I can't see the images.This is how it suppose to be

Did you try to make your Photoshop canvas larger? I'm pretty sure that would solve it.
