 HP 3545  PRINTER.
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am sorry to say that i had purchased the HP Printer only due to redemption scheme as it is supposed to bring down the cost, but was shocked to hear from your caller that  i shall not be getting the same due to original cut barcode not sent.
Kindly note that I had only looked the following in your mail, wherein Copies were mentioned, and I was too in a hurry, as I had to leave for outstation trip :
Kindly share copies of purchase invoice/barcode printer serial number sticker.
By mistake I only took note of the above line; otherwise I had no problem in sending you the original cutout. I just clicked the photograph and sent it you. AS A LAYMAN ONE CANNOT DIFFERENTIATE THE TECHNICAL TERMS SOMETIMES.
The Companies offer lucrative schemes and one buys the product they try to find out ways to harras the customers. its such a petty thing.
This should have been clearly  mentioned what sort of copies and what in original is required.
If you want I can bring the original printer to your office if you desire so.
I cannot beg for the redemption, for which the company is claiming through advertisements, by spending huge amounts.
I hope you will do the needful.

Jasvinder Singh Dhir

  • Pc2510 Check Right Printer Cartridge/Not Supported/Hourglass Errors

    Hello!
If anyone has had success resolving these errors, please let me know, even if it has meant replacing your print cartridge. Thanks!
    Error Description:
Original problem: The printer cartridge error message "Check Right Printer Cartridge" is blocking any use of the psc 2510, including scan and nonprinting noncopying functions.
Current problem:Hourglass freeze accompanied by printer sounds (alignment?) which stop, but screen message never advances past hourglass..
    Summary of Troubleshooting:
I received an error saying: check cartridge in right stall. Tried cleaning contacts on printer cartridge and printer contacts with distilled water. In process of employing other tactics in online tutorial, I tried unplugging power while the printer was open. Ever since, it just runs through hourglass and printer sound, but does not advance past this screen icon.
    Customer Technical Support:
Suggested a semi-reset of # and 6 keys plus unplug and replug or try new print cartridge. When asked if there was anything I could try before purchase of a new cartridge, suggested I unplug and hold power buton for 10 seconds, then replug. (Full description of these at bottom). Upon further research, representative suggested an upgrade.
Hourglass fix attempts employed from forums:
Tried to plug into wall outlet vs. power strip. (Fully plugged in loose connection to brick when noticed was not in all the way.) Reset modem. No results.
    What I Haven't Tried:
Have not tried a new printer cartridge until have exhausted all non-monetary fixes.
    Full Description of Troubleshooting:
The first error: check cartridge in right stall occurred suddenly after problem-free use.
The contacts on the black cartridge were cleaned but the error persisted.
After disconnecting use for a time, I reconnected last night to troubleshoot printer cartridge error on current Mac machine. Installation was completed successfully.
The same error occurred once setup was complete.
    I performed the following:
    1) cleaned contacts on black cartridge using distilled water.
    2) unplugged power cord (per post in forum)
    3) unplugged power cord and tried pressing cancel/left arrow (per same post in forum)
    4) cleaned contacts behind black cartridge on printer
    5) removed black cartridge, closed machine and got insert black cartridge error (attempt to determine which cartridge was the problem)
    6) Even though this message appeared to indicate the black cartridge was the problem (per web support article) I cleaned the contacts on and behind the color cartridge as well.
In the course of all of this trouble shooting I got a second error: "Print cartridge in right stall not supported."
I noticed that the fit is looser than in the color cartridge. I inspected the spring and cartridge area for damage and found none. Cleaned dirt however below contacts on machine.
Also, at one point during the trouble shooting I was able to get to the scan menu but then it quickly reverted to the first error message.
    7) Per general support article online, I tried unplugging the power while the lid was opened (as indicated during cleaning of cartridges.) This information was not in the manual that came with my machine. I was hoping this might reset things.
Then I got the third error: a period of sounds of the printer (alignment?) followed by hour glass on screen.
The 2510 appears to be frozen. No buttons like cancel or menu or on button caused any response.
I unplugged it again (this time with the lid closed) and got the same series. A period of sounds like alignment and then a halt of sounds with the hourglass still on the screen.
Customer Service Rep sent the following:
    Email 1:
    1.      While the printer is powered on, without turning it off, unplug the power cable from it.
    2.      Press and hold the # and 6 keys together and while you are holding them, plug the power cord into the printer
    3.      Hold the keys for about 30 seconds, while the printer tries to power on, and release the buttons.
    4.      If the printer turns off, use the on button to power on the printer, and follow the instructions on the display.
If it still comes up with the same error, I request you to try with a new black cartridge and get back to us with the results.
    Email 2:
    1.      While the printer is powered on, without turning off the printer, unplug the power cable from it
    2.      Press and hold the on button for about 10 seconds and release it.
    3.      After about 1 minute, plug the power cord back and try powering on the unit.
The reason I suggested to try with a new cartridge is because whenever the printer powers on, it does a self test to make sure all the hardware components are working fine, which includes the cartridges. So if there is any error with the cartridge, then the printer might freeze if it is unable to determine the cause of the issue or the point of failure.
    Email 3:
I did some research and the issue seems more likely with the hardware of the printer.[...]
If the issue persists, get back to us with the information below for upgrade options for your printer.
    Forums:
I then tried unplugging from power strip into wall outlet and resetting modem without result. Noticed blue light for wireless connection is no longer on.

I had the same issue with my 7610 (error=print cartridge not installed correctly), and tried some of the listed suggestions - opened up another brand new cartridge - same issue; put the old one back in - same issue.  So I knew it wasn't a defective cartridge, but rather something wrong with the spring that supports the cartridge, because it didn't seem to 'click' in correctly anymore.  Compared the spring on the black (right) side, to the color (left) side, and saw the spring hanging down.  Put it back in place a couple times - still without success - until I looked closer and saw that part of the plastic that holds the spring in place must have just broken off.  Tried t a little piece of tape to hold the spring in place, and finally, the cartridge worked - for now.  Hope this helps someone else if they're having the same issue.  Good luck!

  • Print Cartridges

Hi, Garen.  This is good advice, and I hope that whoever responds to my query will follow it.
I am a new participant to this forum, and was not sure where best to post this question.
I have a C5180 that has served me very well in the past.  It seems to be a good workhorse.  I noted several comments about it in the forum having issues with print cartridges, which I found to be issues with the cartridge suppliers selling out of date cartridges.  Even though it would appear the cartride had ink, it still would not function or be recognized by the printer because it was expired.  I will check all dates when purchasing replacements in the future, and save receipts in case I need to seek accommodataion from the reseller.
Now to my current problem/dilemma.  I tried to transfer from a camera card today.  The memory card was a 128m3 SD card.  I checked it for proper insertion multiple times, but whenever I would select "Save" on Photosmaret Express, it would put a message on my monitor that the 5180 "could not connect to the device".  Clearly it is connected, because the message appears on the screen.  So why can't I transfer photos from the memory card to the computer?
Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Installing printer cartridge

I have installed a new printer cartridge (36A; CB436A) for my HP M1522nf.  I have removed the strip, per instructions.  The cartridge "clicks" in and should be working.  But the "!" light continues to blink, and an error message says "install black cartridge" and will not operate.  I believe I have done everything correctly.  Any idea why the printer is not working?  I am very friustrated.

Try cleaning the contacts inside the machine and reinserting the cartridge--use a clean lint free cloth and maybe some rubbing alcohol.
Kudos appreciated if question answered or solution provided

  • Color Printer cartridges - Officejet Pro 8600

Someone needs to start a class action suit against HP for the intended design of their Officejet Pro 8600 printers and pIossibly other printers as well.  The issue has to do with the desire to print black only but, color cartridges are tested when this is desired.  Why would I wish to be required to have ink in a color cartridge when I want to print only black?
To meet the requirement as stated by the support person, I needed to have a yellow cartridge that contained ink.  I went to the store and bought a yellow cartridge.  Installed thenew yellow cartridge and then the new error message was that my cyan cartridgte was empty.  Replaced that cartridge then the message said I needed a magenta cartridge with ink.
Now, keep in mind, I was able to print black only two days earlier.  Does it seem reasonable that yellow, cyan and magenta cartridges would all become empty at exactly the same time?  I don't think so.  Furthermore removal of the cyan cartridge and then re-installing, was captured as a fact by the printer logic.  Why on earth are they going so far at to keep track that the same cartridge was removed and then re-installed?  This is to me further evidence that the manufacturer has devised a printer to insure they sell a maximum number of color cartridges when any one of the cartridges goes out.
In my case, I purchased a yellow cartridge for $19.99.  Insertion of that cartridge was not good enough.  So, I then purchased a full set with the black XL (cost $94.99).  Total cost after taxes was $123.16.  Therefore, HP is in the business to make their money off of printer cartridges and could almost give the printers away for free.
Will research other manufacturer printer costs and cartridge costs before I consider purchasing another HP printer.
They darn well know this is part of their devious sales strategy and are cleaning up.

  • Photosmart C4580 All-In-One - Error Message: Print Cartridge(s) missing or not detected

    Hi
I have recently encountered a problem with my printer.
I went to print a document and the following error message was displayed on the printer "Print Cartridge(s) missing or not detected", and the document would not print.
I am unsure as to why this message was displayed as I had not changed anything to do with the printer.
The cartridges that were in the printer had been in the printer since October so I thought that it could be due to the cartridges needing to be replaced, therefore, I changed the black ink cartridge. Once the cartridge had been replaced the error message disappeared and the document printed.
However, I went to print another document shortly after and the error message reappeared and the document would not print.
Due to the fact that changing the black cartridge cleared the error message, I replaced the colour cartridge, however, this did not cure the error message this time.
I have followed all of the advice on the HP support pages about cleaning the contacts etc, however, it has not worked. I have also contacted the support team by Email, but have had no reply.
Does anyone know how to cure the problem, or if in fact it can be cured. I am a university student and desperately need the use of my printer, so any help would be appreciated.

    Hi
Yes it did get resolved in the end.
It seems that the fault came from using remanufactured or re-filled cartridges.
I had to replace both of the cartridges so that they were genuine HP cartridges.
Originally I only replaced the one that was causing the problem, but in the end I had to replace both of them. This then resolved the problem immediately.
    I hope this helps.
If not, I would advise contacting the HP support team as when they finally replied to my email they were very helpful and quick to reply to queries and offer advice and suggestions.

  • Check print cartridge - won't print

I have an HP1317. I have just replaced the black cartridge so it should work fine but just get 'check print cartridge message'. I've taken both out several times and put back. I've turned off power and re-booted. I've tried everythin I can think of but still message appears. H E L P!

    Hello @paulhoward,
    Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand that you are having a problem with your PSC 1317 accepting the new ink cartridge.
    I would like to help.
The following document should help with your issue.
    Check Print Cartridge Light Blinking
You have already completed steps 1-3, so I am posting step 4-5.
Step 4: Clean the problem cartridge contactsIf the light is still blinking, clean the electrical contacts by the procedure below:
Gather the following items to clean the cartridge and print carriage:
Clean distilled water. Use bottled or filtered water if distilled water is not available.
Clean cotton swabs or any soft, lint-free material that will not stick to the cartridges (coffee filters work well).
Remove the cartridge and place it on a piece of paper with the nozzle plate facing up. NOTE:Try to clean the contacts quickly enough that the cartridge is not outside of the printer for more than 30 minutes. The ink can dry and clog the nozzles if the cartridge is outside of the printer for too long.
    Unplug the printer.
Dip a swab in the clean water, then squeeze it to remove most of the moisture. The swab should only be slightly damp.
Clean the print cartridge contacts. The illustration below shows these contacts. Avoid touching the nozzles.
Figure : Clean the print cartridge contacts
Clean the contacts in the print carriage, inside the printer. The illustration below shows the carriage and the contacts.
Wait ten minutes to allow the cartridge to dry, then reinstall the cartridge, plug the printer back in, and close the cartridge access door.
    Figure : Print carriage
Figure : Clean the gold-colored contacts in the print carriage
Step 5: Repeat reseating and cleaning steps
If the print cartridge light keeps flashing, repeat steps 3 and 4 above.
Step six is to replace the ink cartridge or call HP.

  • HP Deskjet 6980-print cartridge error

I replaced both ink cartridges.Once I closed the lid and error came on my screen telling me Print Cartridge error- tri color. and the tri color light blinks continuously???

Hi - by 'compatible cartridges', do you mean refilled or non-HP cartridges? HP can't support those because they are somebody else's product - HP doesn't know what kind of ink is in them, how they were refilled, how they might have been damaged during remanufacturing, etc. Here's a support document on a comparison of reliability of HP vs remanufactured or refilled brands by QualityLogic (an independent quality assurance organization): http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=bpa00113&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_USE....  There is a broken link in this doc, which is a bit annoying, but I think it is trying to take you to this page, which has more on the relative reliability of HP vs non-HP: http://www.hp.com/sbso/product/supplies/printer-ink-refill.html
When you cleaned your electrical contacts, did you clean the contacts inside the printer as well? They are hard to get at, but you'll find them in the cradle where the cartridges go - they match up with the contacts on the cartridges. Don't use very much water at all - a barely dampened, lint-free cloth is best. And I would use distilled water, rather than rain or tap water. Rain water especially could have contaminants.

  • "Incompatible print cartridge" error from All-in-one Photosmart Premium C309g-m

I just bought a new Photo Black cartridge for my printer, and I'm getting this message on my computer when printing:
"The following print cartridge(s) is/are not intended for use in this printer as it is currently configured.
    Photo black"
I already tried reseating and cleaning the cartridge with no change.
Can anybody tell me what this means or offer suggestions on next steps?  I really don't want to have to buy another cartridge.
    Thanks,
    -- Chris

Hi Comptronic; thanks for your suggestion.
I checked my cartridge--it's an HP Photo Black 564, which matches what the site you suggested says.  The other 4 cartridges are also 564s, and it's only this one that reports the problem, so I think it's the right one.
When this error occurs, does this mean the printer isn't using the cartridge, or does it still use it anyway?  The printouts look about the same despite the error, so I don't know if it's still using the cartridge or compensating with the other 4 cartridges.
    Thanks,
    --Chris

  • Exchange/Purchasing Printer Cartridges

    Hello Community,
Can anyone tell me if HP Home & Office still offers credit on printer cartridges when I purchase replacements for my 3180 All in One?  I've learned that Staples no longer does. Really need a quick answer.
    Thank You.

Do you mean a credit for empty returns or for defective?  AFAIK HP has never offered a credit for empties, but they do have a recycling program.
If you have a defective cartridge you should be able to get a replacement, see this document for information on cartridge warranty.

  • How to resolve the "Incompatible Print Cartridge" Message

    Hello everyone
Have you ever received the "Incompatible Print Cartridge" message? This can be caused by defective cartridges, dirty cartridge contacts, or using the wrong cartridges for your printer or region. If you get this message after moving to a different country and using a different HP ink you will need to call HP support and have them explain how to change the region of your printer.
If, however, you have not moved and you are getting this message with a new or current cartridge there is quite a bit of troubleshooting that can be done. There is both an article and youtube video to help you through resolving this issue They are both excellent tools to help with troubleshooting. If the steps don't resolve your issue make sure to try a different cartridges as this helps isolate the issue to the printer or the cartridge.
