HP Printer Won't Print Complete Page?

I connected my HP printer ( WI-FI) to my PowerBook. Problem is that it won't print a complete page. On preview it shows the total page - when I try printing all I get a third of the page print & blank!!!
Any suggestions are welcome!

Hello OscarBlanco,   I see that you have stated multiple issues, viz Printer printing test pages and printer prints half the page. To solve the "Printer printing test pages", perform the below steps, which should also resolve the half page being printed. The printed test page is called Alignment Page. Once the Alignment page is printed...Lift the scanner lid.Place the alignment page with the print side down on the right-front corner of the scanner glass. See the engraved guide next to the scanner glass for help loading the alignment page.Figure : Place the alignment page on the scanner glassClose the scanner lid.Press the Start Copy Black button () or the Start Copy Color button () on the front panel of the printer. The printer aligns the cartridges.

  • How to print complete page???

    Hi Everyone,
I have developed one ADF Application with 2 pages.
In first page, i have many ADF tables. under one panelgroup layout(horizontal) i placed 6 ADF: Tables and
When i right click on the page and click on print Preview option then some tables are truncated in the print preview.
So i reduced the size of each table and kept under print preview page but the look and feel is not good now as there is much space left in the right side.
So wat can i do for it now?
how can i make all my tables (the complete page from left to right) in print preview?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    try this,
    <af:table styleclass='"AFStretchWidth">

  • I can't print complete pages from e-mails that I had no problmes with prior to using Firefox

I received an online bill from an account of ours. I could open the pdf & view it but when attempting to print the bill, only portions of the bill would print. Today I tried to print a coupon with a bar code at the bottom of the message but only the first part of the coupon printed. I retrieved these messages from my Comcast x/finity web mail account using Firefox to retrieve instead of using Internet Explorer for getting to my Comcast homepage. I have an airline trip coming up & I'm fearful that I won't be able to print the boarding passes from the airline.

Before creating a new empty profile, you can follow the [[Basic Troubleshooting]] steps and maybe start by running in Firefox [[Safe Mode]]. This is the Firefox "debug" mode which uses the default theme and toolbars/controls, disables hardware acceleration and disables all extensions. See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] for detailed instructions.

  • My Officejet 6500A Plus will not print complete page in wireless mode

When printing any documents, big or small, my 6500A Plus prints a couple sentences per page... and takes about 2 minutes between.  So to print a word document with 3 paragraphs... paragraph 1 comes out on a page after 2 mins... then 2 minutes later the second paragraph comes out on a seperate page... and so on.  The wireless router (d-link N speed) is in the same small room (is 8 feet away) with nothing in between to cause interference.  Can watch you tube videos in high definition on the other side of the house via wireless so I know it is not the network speed/bottleneck.  If I connect a network cable... it prints perfectly.
The document to print is a simple work document with no graphics or compicated items.  It's almost like the printer can only process a few sentences at a time... then goes back to get the next coupld and prints them
Running windows 7 on my HP notebook.

    Hey Steve564,
It sounds like the communciation between your 6500a Plus and your network has developed an issue.  I would advise performing the steps listed below.
From the home screen of the printer press the Right Arrow
    Select the Setup menu
    Select Network submenu
Scroll to the bottom of the list and select Restore Network Defaults
After the network defaults have been restored, then I would perform a network power cycle following the below steps.
Follow these steps to reset your HP printer, your wireless router, and your computer.
Press the Power button on the HP printer to turn it off.
Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the HP printer.
Disconnect the power cord from the wireless router.
    Turn off the computer.
    Wait 30 seconds.
Reconnect the power cord to the wireless router.
Wait 30 seconds, or until the router is fully on and ready.
    Turn the computer back on.
Wait for the computer to reload.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the HP printer.
    Turn the printer back on.
Once this is done, then I would run the Wireless Setup Wizard in the Setup>Network menu to reconnect to the network.  At this point are you able to print normally?

  • Won't print to photo tray, but will print test page

I have most current Vista driver, but can't print to photo tray.  It won't pull the tray in, although it works great when printing test page.  I tried various page/paper settings and "photo tray" light settings, but still won't print from Vista.
Tried 8250 printer properties, changing paper settings, but can't recognize settings, even though it sees the paper and prints the test page.  Seemed to work just fine with XP.

Plugged into an XP machine, photo printed.
Plugged back into Vista, fooled with the settings, then it worked!

  • Reinstalled Acrobat Pro 8.1.6 won't let me print web pages to PDFs

I'm really ticked at Adobe's "help" in updating the program only to cause a lot of misery.  I'd read Acrobat had a security update, and got a constant reminder from Adobe update to install the available update.  I've been using Acrobat Pro 8.1.6 with absolutely no problems printing web pages to PDFs.  I installed the 8.1.7 update which immediately disabled Acrobat completely.  So I wasted a lot of time uninstalling Acrobat and reinstalling sequential versions to get back to 8.1.6.  Now I can't print web pages to a PDF.
I had NOT done anything else to installed programs in the meantime, except that probably Norton has automatically updated antivirus files in the background.  I don't have any problems using Acrobat to open and print an existing PDF, or to create new PDFs from my scanner.  I can do a hardcopy print of a webpage by selecting my Brother printer.  From Word 2002 and Excel 2002, I can create a PDF by "printing" to Acrobat as usual.   The only problem is creating a PDF by "printing" a webpage by selecting Acrobat as the device from the list of available printers.  This problem happens both with Firefox and with Internet Explorer 7.
I have Windows XP Pro SP3.  I did the most recent Windows Tuesday security update several days before messing around with Acrobat and did not have any problems printing PDF files from Firefox or IE7.  So, it seems like it's clearly an Adobe Acrobat problem.  I get the small box saying "Preparing to Print" which goes nowhere and then I have to use the Task Manager to get out of the loop.  That closes Firefox, and when I reopen Firefox, the same webpage comes up.

  • HP Officejet Pro L7780 won't print individual pages of a file

I have a HP Officejet Pro L7780 setup with wireless printing on my network and am using Windows 7 on a 64-bit computer with MSWord 2007. I'm trying to duplex print just specific corrected pages (like pages 7-8) from a file (of pages 1-22) and my printer just won't do it. When I select to print specific pages, the printer just sits there and then the print queue is apparently dumped, as the tray icon just disappears.  The printer will print only all pages of a file or nothing at all. What could be the reason for this and how do I correct it? Thanks, Patricia

  • Printer prints blank pages despite cleaning, won't align

HP photosmart B210 all of  sudden prints blank pages and won't align

    Hi @bhoover64,
I see that you are getting blank pages and the printer won't align. I can help you with this.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
I have provided a document to go through the steps to see if that will resolve the issue.

  • Won't print last page

Has anyone else had this problem?
HP 5200DTN won't print last page of any document.

I have this same problem and can't figure it out. It started roughly a couple months ago.
I did some testing in Word and found that it would not print the last page if I had a page break in the document, but would print the last page if I removed the page break. However, it also happens often even if the document doesn't have a page break.

    Hey dmorrisp,
Can you pull up your apps? You can try following these steps to resolve your issue.
    1. Find your printer's IP address by printing a network configuration page.
    2. Type you IP address into the address bar of your web browser.
    3. Click on the network tab at the top of the page.
    4. Look at the left hand side and click IPv4 under wireless.
    5. Change the IP settings to Manual.
    6. Enter the printer's IP address, your subnet mask, and your routers IP address or default gateway in the spaces.
    7. Set the Preferred DNS to 8.8.8.8.
    8. Set the Alternate DNS to 8.8.4.4.
    9. Click apply.(You may need to refresh the page if it says processing for longer than a min and click apply again.)
    10. Now try to enable Web Services.

  • EPrint won't print web pages from Windows 8 Microsoft Surface tablet

ePrint won't print web pages from Windows 8 (x64) Microsoft Surface tablet Any ideas?

    Hello JereTanner,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see you are trying to print web pages from a Surface tablet. What model of printer are you trying to print to? Also, Is there an error, message, etc, when you try to print? Typically, ePrint is used when printing eMails or forwarding documents / pictures to the printers eMail address, is this how you are trying to print the web page? Since this is a Windows 8 Operating System, you may be able to install full feature software and print that way. When I know more about how you are trying to print, what happens when you try and what printer you are using, I will be able to better help. Cheers,
