Hp ProBook 455 G1

Hello, I just bought a new laptop but i am very worried about temperatures.
Laptop: 
HP ProBook 455 G1 cu procesor AMD Quad-Core A10-5750M 2.5GHz, 8GB, 500GB, AMD Radeon HD 8750M 2GB
I got 91 °C while gaming and around 37-44°C normal tasks but sometimes pooped out to 60°C just in youtube, I have 30 days to give it back and get another product, please let me know if this is normal i am confused the games run so smoothly but the cooler sounds like its gonna explode.Thank you for your time.

    HI, a colleague of mine has a hp probook 455, yesterday morning it started making a revving noise.
    the noise normally last for a few seconds, stops, then starts back up a few seconds later.

  • Probook 455 G1 overheating CPU

    Hello,
    I have an HP Probook 455 G1 with an AMD A8-4500M processor which I bought about a month ago. However, the CPU runs very hot, even when idling, at 96 degrees Celsius most of the time. I've had the problem since I bought it, but I decided to take action now.

  • HP Probook 455 G1 dts+ audio software & mute button light change missing on Windows 10

    Dear Support! I upgraded my probook from win 8.1 to win 10 home and i have a few problems in relation with the audio. 1. In win 8.1 the audio driver has a dts+ software (if i remember good for the name) which can optimize the sound with effects and eq etc. The notebook sounds good with this but in windows 10 i can get this and the quality of the sound is much worse. In addition in the device manager on win 8.1 the audio card names as IDT High Definiton audio but in win 10 it is "High Definition Audio Device". I don't know whethet that matters. (also has an amd high definition audio device, but if i know good its the hdmi audio) So I want to ask how can i get this to win10. 2. The audio mute button in win 10 doesnt change color -the wifi button does it- from white to orange if there is a change. The funcionality is working so it mutes the sound. So i would like to get some solutions about that, i tried to download drivers from hp support but i didnt see anything for this. Thank you for your answers, Akos ConfigHP Probook 455 G1 with AMD A10-5750M APU

    good afternoon. my webcamera started to show everything in green an yellow colours. as if inverted colours. i have this notebook only for 7 months. this porblem started to be only some days ago. when i pressed on panel near the camera cirlce,it turned to be again normal colours,normal image. it helped. but now it dsnt turn to be normal but stay as inverted colour in green and yellow image. what is the problem? thank you for your answer in advance

  • Battery life HP Probook 455 G1

    Hello,
    I have recently bought a HP laptop (the model of the title).
    Its specifications are :
    CPU:AMD A10-5750M (2.50 GHz)
    RAM:6144 MB DDR3
    Graphics Card:AMD Radeon HD 8750M (2048 MB)
    Battery:6 cell, 47 Wh
    HD:750 GB SATA 5400 rpm
    My Operating System is Ubuntu 14.04. And my battery lasts about 2 hours..The truth is that I expected something better.
    But, I would like to ask you, if that is normal or am I missing something?

    I am also a Linux user. I prefer Kubuntu but it is based on Ubuntu. I do have to use Windows for most things but have a Linux dual boot. Linux has always consumed battery power more quickly than Windows. Laptop power management has always been a weak place for Linux and I have been using it since about 1999. Recent versions (and I think you have the latest stable version) are getting better with each release. 
    Many power management settings that are automatic in Windows have to be implemented manually in Linux, Here is a good article about it:

    You can do some simple tweaking of battery settings just by clicking on the battery or power icon in the toolbar and checking the GUI settings that are available. The biggest single thing you can do is reduce screen brightness to the lowest level you can work with.

  • How do I remove the on-screen volume and brightness displays?

    The on screen displays for volume and brightness controls on my ProBook 455 really lag behind pressing the buttons and aren't terribly helpful anyway. Can I remove them? I've seen people ask in the past and they are told about something called an "HP On Screen Display" or a "MediaSmart Menu." But my notebook doesn't have either. Does someone know another name for the thing I need to remove in order to get rid of this useless display?

    Hi,
    I have a HP 255 G1 with the new APU A4-5000.
    I choose to downgrade it to Windows 7 Professional 64bit (i have this license).
    When I'm downloading the drivers, there aren't all correct workibg.
    For the Chipset and graphics I found it direct at AMD (Catalysst 13.12).
    All others are now also working.
    Only the Wireless network driver i couldn't find. 
    HP 255 G1, G2; HP 655; from Ralink-Webste, all this don't work.

  • Ideapad a5500 h wifi trouble

    Hello everyone, I've bought brand new tablet (my first ever) yesterday, Idepad a8-50, and I've encountered big problem straight away. My notebook HP ProBook 455 has a wifi hotspot, which was tested on my PocketBook e-reader and works fine, but I'm just unable to make it work with my new Lenovo tablet. Tablet connects, 100% signal strenght, 135 Mbps connection speeed, but connection crashes after 20-30 seconds. It still shows 100% signal, but refuses to reconnect, usually showing something like "Verification poblem", or "Saved, WPA2 verrification". Sometimes it reports "connection denied due to low speed", but 135 Mbps is not slow, is it?! It troubles me a lot, anyone encountered similar problem? I've tried to reset hotspot, turn wifi in tablet off and back on, but still the same problem. Tomorrow I'll go to town and test another wifi in some bar, but I'm affraid I'll have to send it to servis centre just before my vacation (which was the main reason to buy it).

    Small update -build version A5500H_A422_000_024_140328_ROW
    Networks with moderate or weak signal and speed around 20-50 Mbps are no problem to connect to, but the ones with strong signal and better speed are just impossible to use... I'd honestly expect right the opposite... I don't see other option than send it back to the shop as malfunctioning piece.

    No idea, that info will not be available in advance, you can try the 8.0 drivers, they are reported to work for some people. Good luck.
