Unknown Device - Device Instance Path (ACPI\INT33BD\1)
I have a unknown device in device manager. When I plug in my power cord to charge i get a black screen as soon as i unplug the windows screen comes back. Not sure if these are related or not.
Hi: I am pretty sure you need this driver. The latest is for W8.1. This package provides the driver that enables the Intel SidebandFabric device. Intel Sideband Fabric Device Driver is a bridge tothe Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework. This package isprovided for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. File name: sp65474.exe I don't know if not having that driver installed is related to the black screen issue.

DV7-3065DX - Fresh Win7 Install & 2 Unknown Devices?
Recently purchased this laptop and performed a fresh install of Windows 7 once getting home. After the install completed successfully, I noticed I have two Unknown Devices in my Device Manager that the install did not have drivers for. Ran through the Windows Update bit and still nothing. Any pointers on how to identify which two items these are so I can pull the drivers from the HP site?
To be more specific, the hardware IDs of each are ENE0100 and HPQ0004
Thanks in advance,

I have a little problem:
I installed windows 8 64bit on my HP probook 6570b (I haven't installed other OS before).
In device manager i have two "other devices":
1. Base system device, Location: PCI Slot 2 (PCI bus 35, device 0, function 1)
2. Unknown device, Location: on PCI Express Root Complex
How can I find drivers for these devices?
This question was solved.

Boot Seagate Expansion Desktop Drive (2Tb) on HP ProBook 6570b
Hello All!
I currently bought a Seagate Expansion Desktop Drive (2Tb) and tried to make it a bootable drive so if I go to work and back to use it (Windows to go). On my desktop computer the drive works perfectly, boots and everything is fine, but on my laptop (HP Probook 6570b) it is not recognized as a boot device! I installed the drive from the laptop and it recognizes the drive in windows but not at boot time….
I downloaded the latest bios and installed it. (2014.08 F.50) and tried again. (Before that the laptop did not start at all if the drive was pluged in on boot!!!)
I set the boot to legacy, then UEFI and Native to but nothing. Set the priority to boot from usb drive first then flashdisk and everything that is not internal… and then Internal HDD and then network and dvd etc..
When the drive options come up with Escape/F10 there are no usb drives (if the drive is pluged in only). Tried all usb ports on the Laptop nothing. If I boot without anything pressed the Internal HDD boots normally. I plug in an usb pendrive with a bootable content on it, that boots fine, but I can’t seem to get the drive working. I checked with Seagate and they don’t have newer firmware for the drive it is up to date. So the problem would be in the Bios or the settings.
Anyone faced something similar maybe? Any help would be appreciated.
I think it will be a Bios problem... if anyone could point me to the right direction about makeing this an issue to update the ProBook 6570b bios to get it to work would be the biggest help i think
I got 10 day to bring the drive back, to the reseller to get another if this is not working, but this is not the drives fault. If anyone has a working USB HDD with Probook and windows to go and could tell me the device name that would be a great help to.
Thanks

Equium L10: Windows Vista Beta2 - unknown device
Hi
I have a Toshiba Equium L10 with Windows XP loaded as default but I installed VISTA Beta2 "public release" on it and given that it's only a 1.5GHz Celeron CPU with 512MB RAM, it ran extremely well but, I have one problem which I am hoping that I can get help with from the users in this forum and especially those who have the same/similar Equium model as I have?
Ok, after installing VISTA I checked in Device Manager and noticed "Unknown Device". After checking out the info given in it's properties, I have detailed it below:
Location: Microsoft ACPI Compliant Embedded Controller
Value: ACPI\ACPI 0001 * ACPI0002
When I re-installed XP again, I went to Device Manager/Batteries/Microsoft SMART Battery, the entry for Microsoft SMART Battery Subsystem has "ACPI\ACPI0002\6&28CA2229&0".
Notice the "ACPI0002" info given for the 'unknown device' in VISTA is the same info given for the "Microsoft SMART Battery Subsystem" in Windows XP. So I am left wondering if the unkown device under VISTA is the Microsoft SMART Battery Subsystem and if so, why did VISTA not install the driver for it?
Can anyone help with find a driver for the "unknown device" in VISTA?
Regards
BraveHi
The unknown device appears because the driver is missing.
Unfortunately, at this time you will not find any Toshiba supported drivers for the Windows Beta2. This is a beta version and not official on the market.
I think if this OS will be official supported so you will also find the needed drivers.
