HP PSC 2355 troubles - Display shows a constant "load paper" message...

... even though the tray is full.
Have had it five years. Worked fine until a few days ago; then, first a paper jam message, then check color cartridge, now "load paper". Have gone thru all on-line troubleshooting steps, taken the back off, cleaned the rollers, etc. No good.
Is this printer at the end of its useful life? Thanks for any advice.

I'm sorry to hear that your printer is not pulling the paper as it should but I would like to lend a hand and see if we can determine what the problem is
I'd first like to test the hardware to see if it's related to the hardware of the printer or the software. To test this, the first thing I will recommend is that you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet to ensure it is getting all the power it needs to function. Once it's plugged directly to a wall outlet, please try Printing a Self-Test Report directly on the printer to see if it's able to print that page successfully or not. If it prints successfully, please try printing from the computer again.
If it does not print properly I will suggest that you then try the steps within this More Than One Page at a Time Feeds Through the All-in-One document as it will walk you through cleaning the rollers and inspecting the inside of the printer.
If the problems still persists after that, please try Performing a Partial Reset to see if that will clear the message.

HP PSC 2355 all-in-one unresolved carriage jam, with no paper jam found. I searched with flashlight through the back. Windows 7 64bit. Printer just out of 3 years in storage.
Twice I was able to bypass the problem and print a single page, but then the message returned: carriage jam.

Trouble displaying X-axis constant line

In a graph template I want to insert an x-axis constant line at the minimum measured value on the y-axis. I have succeeded in printing the numeric x value in text on the graph by using the formula:

However, this formula does not work when I insert it into the VBS code of an autosequence.
D2CCONSTX =str(ChD( find (“Vacuum_Smooth”) -CMin(cno(“Vacuum_Smooth”))<0.001), (“Time1”)
As written, I get the error message:
CHD(“FALSE”)”,” for the second index or parameter expected!
How can I accomplish this task in the autosequence VBS code?

I was a little bit confused after reading your code. So I tried to solve the task from scratch. I hope this will help.
My solution to print the Time1 value at the Vacuum_Smooth minimum is:str(ChD( find("Vacuum_Smooth = CMin(Vacuum_Smooth)"), "Time1"))For D2CCONSTX you have to set a expression wich will deliver a double value. No str() is required! This expression must be encapsulated in @@ to show DIAdem that it is not a value string. The code line must look like this:D2CCONSTXNAME = "@@ChD( find(""Vacuum_Smooth = CMin(Vacuum_Smooth)"" ), ""Time1"" )@@"As you can see the " in the first code example are replaced by "" because it has to be a " after VBS had evaluated the string. If you put the value string in D2CCONSTX you have to update the layout on every change.

HT1725 Why is it impossible to watch an NETFLIX movie or HBO GO show without constant LOADING interruptions?

I have upgraded my internet service in order to be able to watch movies and services like NETFLIX and HBO GO without interruptions. No luck. I have just given up using the services through my iTV. I have better luck through my TV which incidentally does not offer HBO GO. Whare is the hang up?

Since neither of those services come through the iTunes Store, this wouldn't appear to be a question best posed in this forum. If this is on an Apple TV, I'd suggest asking in the Apple TV forum, though such stalls and erratic behavior are usually a network issue, either in your house - if your Apple TV is using Wi-Fi you may be getting interference from other devices, perhaps outside your house - or with your Internet provider. Have you confirmed with your provider that they're not throttling your service or otherwise having network problems?

PSC 2355 Blue Screen of Death - Error:0x889ff020

I'd sure like to resolve this issue and get my favorite printer/scanner/copier running again.
The printer used to be attached to an HP laptop with Windows XP SP3. I moved it over to my HP desktop Windows 7 computer to do some scanning. It worked fine. Then when I moved it back to the Windows XP computer, it worked fine. The XP computer and this PSC 2355 which now has issues sat for several months without being used. When I turned on the XP laptop and printer, the small display screen on the printer was strange and garbled looking. I uninstalled the printer software on the XP laptop, restarted, and downloaded the appropriate drivers and software from HP. When I installed the fresh copy of the software and followed all the installation instructions, the printer worked for awhile. Then the next day, it went back to the garbled looking small display screen, and then it gave me the Blue Screen of Death.
I wondered if the BSOD was showing up because it's one of the printers involved in the lawsuit over the printer cartridges causing lots of pop-ups and apparently other issues. So to "reset" the printer, I popped out the ink cartridges and reinstalled them. That didn't work.
Can this printer be saved, or is it fit for the scrap heap?

P.S. I tried swapping out the power cord that attaches to the transformer and goes into the outlet yesterday. The printer sat at the blue screen of death. In frustration I left the room for about an hour, when I came back and hit the On button, the printer acted normal and worked. I turned the power off last night with the button.
Today I went to turn it on, the swapped out power cord was still plugged into the transformer and the wall, but it doesn't work now. The power light blinked green for a little bit, then went out. Now the HP invent screen is displayed and the power light is off. Hitting the power button on the printer doesn't do anything - the HP invent screen on the printer stays illuminated. Could the problem be the power button itself? Could the problem be the transformer and/or cable running from the transformer into the printer? I think the problem is most likely with the power, but I'm running out of ideas.

Is there a Macintosh OS 8.6 or 9.0.4 printer driver for an HP PSC 2355?

I know this is very old {don't laugh}, but I was looking for a Macintosh OS 8.6 or 9.0.4 printer driver for my recently purchased HP PSC 2355 All-in-One printer.
I run OS X 10.5.8 on an Apple iBook G4 and also run a Mac OS 9.0.4 emulator on it called SheepShaver. Trouble is SheepShaver will only run up to Mac OS 9.0.4 and the HP PSC 2355 minimum drivers are for Mac OS 9.1.
I would love to be able to print from SheepShaver and the scanner features are unimportant to me under Mac OS 9.
Are there printing drivers (even from a different, but compatible printer) that would allow me to print from this printer under Mac OS 9.0.4?

When you say you recently purchased the PSC 2355, i believe this is a very old printer.
I am not sure on how the SheepShaver works but we do have the printer driver available for 10.9 on hp.com. The first link mentioned below will take to the product page. Rest all are some of the InkJet and DeskJet drivers.

Scanning in win 8.1 for HP psc 2355 all-in-one

I can't get my HP psc 2355v all-in-one to scan. The printer tells me to install HP software for this feature when I try to start scan from the printer. I have installed the drivers multiple times and cannot find a way to execute the scan from my computer.

I read about how you are having troubles with scanning to your Windows 8.1 system from your PSC 2355 printer, and I wanted to reach out. There are no drivers or software available to install with this specific printer model on Windows 8.1, as the model is older and OS is newer. I would think that your best bet would be to try running the Print and Scan Doctor to see if the diagnostic tool can detect the printer and scan. If this does not work, you can also try scanning from Microsoft Paint as a work around option.
If all else fails, you can contact HP directly and discuss your printer options to upgrade to a new printer compatible with Windows 8.1.

I am having some trouble displaying a JSP version 2 document in IE (though everything works fine in Mozilla).
All my jsp docs start off as follows:

not sure what's ur req...but the kind of displaying the order numbers in basic or sec list and then navigating to change/display tcode of the order is easy using HIDE in AT LINE-SELECTION with combination of
SET PARAMETER ID pid FIELD f. and then
CALL TRANSACTION xyz AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN .

HP PSC 2355 all-in-one Paper Jam Error

Hi. I have an HP PSC 2355 all-in-one printer that has worked well for a long time but when i switched it on today to do some printing, it made some strange noises and when i tried to print it sent an error saying there was a paper jam - but there was not !
It feeds a sheet of paper in about half way through then stops and the error is displayed.
I tried doing a copy, and the exact same thing happens.
Has anyone got an idea what has gone wrong ?

This printer used to work fine with Tiger – after a lot of headaches setting it up. Seemingly, after downloading a latest 10.4 up-grade, I lost all functions with this 3 in 1 printer. I’ve done all the procedures on the HP site, purged everything HP on my computer relating to applications, and re-installed the software. However, the printer does not show up on the ‘Printer List’ in the ‘Printer Setup Utility. Error message stating that ‘No default Device Detected’ or, Error ‘Sorry, scanner could not be initialized. (Scanner not found.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Having trouble displaying a JPanel on a JFrame

I'm fairly new to Java and I am having trouble displaying a JPanel on a JFrame. Pretty much I have a class called Task which has a JPanel object. Everytime the user creates a new task, a JPanel with the required information is created on screen. However, I cannot get the JPanel to display.
Here is some of the code I have written. If you guys need to see more code to help don't hesitate to ask.
The user enters the information on the form and clicks the createTask button. If the information entered is valid, a new task is created and the initializeTask method is called.

I tried passing the mainForm I already created, but I get this error: non-static variable mainForm cannot be referenced from a static context. So to allow the program to compile I passed in new MainForm() instead. However, in my AddTaskForm class constructor, I pass the original MainForm. Here is the code:

   initComponents();
   numberTasks = 0;
   this.mainForm = mainForm;
}Is a new mainForm actually being created and thats why I can't see the JPanel on the original mainForm? If this is the case, how would I pass the mainForm to addTaskForm? Thanks a ton for any help/suggestions!

UPDATE
While writing the post an idea popped in my head. I decided to not require a MainForm in the AddTaskForm. Instead to get the MainForm I created an initializeMainForm method.
This is what I mean by not having to pass new MainForm():

     java.awt.EventQueue.invokeLater(new Runnable()
         public void run()
          new MainForm().setVisible(true);
    }Even when I don't create the new MainForm() the JPanel still doesn't show up.

Having trouble displaying the Logged in Customer details. The customer is able to register himself to my site but when he enters his username and password I don't know how to display the welcome username message and switch the login link to logout. Even afte the customer is logged in it still shows login. Please look at the image for more details.

Thanks Sidney, that worked........I tried to change the css style of make the log out link to stay in same horizontal line as the Logged in but I can't.(Please see the image) Is it the module that is designed to work this way???
And one more .....is there a way where I can change the message "No one logged in" to say LogIn.

PSC 2355 cartridge problem

I have a PSC 2355 (about 3 yrs old) connected by USB to my MAC OSX 10.3.9.
Suddenly I have an error message on the printer saying "remove and check color cartridge" - which I have done - followed all the suggestions step by step - downloaded the update that deals with it - but absolutely no joy. Of course the printer is completely locked, can't print anything whatsoever and the toolbox can't even find the printer!
Is it completely kapput? The colour cartridge was recently (less than 2 weeks ago) replaced and used quite efficiently and normally. When this problem occured yesterday I also tried a fresh replacement cartridge. Nothing seems to work.
Any other suggestions please?

I just downloaded latest iTunes software and now my phone is not working - display shows a connector with arrow to iTunes icon, help?

I need help after a software update, anyone else with similar problem????
Today I went to recharge battery, iTunes pop-up indicated new software version.
I OK's the download and now the phone does not appear to be working. I've tried holding down home key and power switch for 10 seconds.
