HP PSC750xi Cannot activate the scanner

The printer is able to print and copy, however, when I try to scan from any program(wordprocessor, windows fax and scan,or from the control panel) I receive a device not ready msg or the wordprocessor does not see the device. When I try to scan from the printer, I get the error and recommend to turn printer off and then on. This does not work. I am using Windows 7 pro. The printer is hooked up with USB.

While I was reading your reply I was thinking it could be an issues with WIA, but since the camera is still working WIA would be working fine.
Will the PSC 750xi still make a copy? What is the exact error on the front of the printer when you try to scan, you have mentioned its says to turn off and on, is that all it says?
Check for a install any Windows Updates to ensure the Operating System is running at best ability. Also, type in the search bar after clicking start; change device installation settings> click the option and ensure the selection is set to on.
You could try deleting and adding the printer from Devices and Printers. To delete, right click printer and click Remove device. To add, this Microsoft document will provide the steps: Install a printer.

"cannot find the scanner on the bus"

I attached Epson 2450 scanner via firewire but when I open Photoshop I get the message "cannot find the scanner on the bus, Please ensure that it is switched on, ready to scan and that the cables are attached correctly." That message stays on top of all windows and the "ok" button is useless. I searched and trashed every item "...USB scanner.." in the Library/Application Support/Epson scanner module and the message still shows up. The only way the scanner is attached is via firewire. I have successfully scanned 35 mm slides in from the scanner until this message started showing. How do I get rid of it?

The first thing I did when connecting the scanner was to get the updated, most recent drivers. I have downloaded the driver a second time and yesterday everything was fine. Today, I started Photoshop and turned on the scanner and there's that dratted message again that won't go away. I downloaded the latest drivers again this morning, restarted everything and still get the message that won't go away as long as the scanner is on. I have to turn off the scanner and restart to get rid of it, but then I can't scan. I have submitted my problem to Epson support and get no answer.

Actually, this is a friend's camera, but yes, I went to the menu and when I got to the digital zoom option, it is greyed out (not accessible). That is the problem. I shoot in the EOS line so figured maybe there was a custom function somewhere that was causing the problem, but Power shot line apparentley doesn't have custom functions. Thought maybe digital zoom is only availabel in certain modes (pernaps not available in "green square"), but changing mode didn't seem to make it accessible either. I am just not familiar with the powershot cameras so ... any other suggestions?

I had this problem. There are actually two boxes. The outside one with the photos and stuff and glued into it is another box containing the disks. That box has the serial number. Adobe was NO help with this as if no one else ever could not find it. I had to rip open the outer box.

The person who sold you the device can remove the ID without giving it to you. Follow the steos in "What to do if you no longer have the device." In the artcle below. If you can't find the person or they won't do it you're stuck with a unusable device.

Just to check - do you mean you've updated Lion to 10.7.1? (10.7.5 is the current version and ought to be the version you have installed so that you're up-to-date with bug fixes/security updates, etc.)
Is the problem that since updating the OS Lion won't recognise your scanner?
Does Image Capture in the Applications folder recognise the scanner?

Cannot Activate the Integration Process

I wonder why the receiver step not taking the " Use Correlation" or "Activate Correlation" value even after creating the correlation list and check(F7) the same.
At receivers step in Graphical Definition(BPM) I can see the red question mark against Activate correlation value, I can see the value to choose. But when I choose the value and save the value does not stay there it disappears.
I feel that the correlation list value is not been activated and hence unable to use it for the receivers steps.
When I activate the Integration Process, below is the error message appears.
