HP Recovery Manager Can't Be Installed Message "This softpaq will not be installed ..."

My laptop is HP Pavilion dv6 windows 7 64 bit i needed to format my laptop and after the format i installed all necessary drivers, i downloaded the hp recovery manager but it could not be installed and it displayed the following message "This softpaq will not be installed because HP Recovery Manager cannot be found in your system ". I didn't erase or format the recovery partition the recovery partition size is 12.8GB and when i opened it i just found a few files with very small sizes (1KB) ,i only formatted the C drive partition. Any help would be appreciated.

If you didn't use the Recovery Manager to format and reinstall- you deleted files used on the C drive for Recovery Manager.If you burned a Recovery Disk set boot from the first one to get the notebook back to factory specs.

I replaced a bad samasung hard drive in my Pavilion dv6z 3200 with a Seagate Momentus XT 750 GB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s 32 MB Cache 2.5 Inch Solid State Hybrid Drive ST750LX003 and when trying to restore Windows 7 64 bit OS get the error message "this computer is not supported by the system recovery media"

Is the new hdd at least as large a capacity as the original? Can be larger capacity, but sometimes smaller will cause error.
Enter BIOS by tapping F10 key. Is all system info intact/complete?

if it still gives that message, you need to take it to apple store or apple service provider to have a new card installed. the apple site gives listings of providers and stores in your area:

You can try downloading the 64 bit version. You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

I have the exact same problem. I have not changed anything. This is probably a bug or something that has gone bad with Mac OS X (10.7.2). I have not found any solution for this on the web.

Try downloading the trial. It ought to detect that you have a 64-bit system.
You aren't using Vista, are you? PSE 13 requires at least win 7 and I think a few folks with vista have gotten a similar error message on trying to install it.

Also MMS is supported on a carrier by carrier basis. While mostly every carrier does support ths feature make sure that your carrier allows this functionality.

I use Canon Cameras and have no problems downloading photos from the camera to the Lightning to USB Camera Adapter. My questions and suggestions might be basic but just to make sure:
1. This is an iPad forum area. Are you using the lightning to USB camera adapter with an iPad? Your info in your original post says iPod. I'm not sure that the adapter works with an iPod.
2. After you connect the adapter to your iPad and then use a USB cable to connect the adapter to the camera did you turn on the camera?
3. If you did turn on the camera and still did not get the import of photos to start try a reset your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. This will not cause any data loss.

A "quick" fix that worked for me was to uninstall Adobe... then download the base install for Adobe Reader 11.0.
Then download each of the individual updates and run them sequentially.
I've installed back up to the last security update which is version 08 and have been able to do normal Save As operations.
You will have to disable automatic updates in order to stay at version 08 until Adobe resolves this issue in a later release.

11.0.10 Update Issue - Problem saving documents - getting message "This document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (21)." The PDF documents are being created by Esker VSIFax and the problem is only occuring with updated vers

Our IBM Unix system uses a program called VSIFax (Esker) to create PDF documents such as invoices. Users that have updated to Acrobat version 11.0.10 can open the PDF but then when trying to save the document the get a message "This document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (21)." The problem is only occuring with updated version 11.0.10 (11.0.9 works fine).
