HP Scanjet 8300 Horizontal Lines when scanning 35mm at 2400 dpi

When I scan HP Scanjet 8300 35mm the horizontal lines at 2400 dpi ..  please tell me how can I calibrate the scanner.. or how could I control the light of TMA .. anybody If know about any software regarding this please reply me at [email protected]

[mi] EQ overflowing. The server is probably stuck in an infinite loop.
Seems a little suspicious, though its kind of a generic error message.  Lots and lots of google hits on that one.
Are you sure none of the libs or executables for xorg-* got damaged before the system called for an fsck?  The power went out on me once and my hard drive "forgot" about 75% of my kernel modules, although it was a conventional hard drive and not an SSD.
try re-installing some packages:
pacman -S xorg xf86-video-ati ati-dri libgl
(any more anyone can think of?)
[edit]
Is your copy of that bootchart that blurry or is flicker messing with it?  It looks like its been resized even at largest setting. I can hardly read it.

  • Can't fix jagged images and horizontal lines when scanning

Hello, I just bought the HP Envy 5660 and it prints fine but scanning is horrible. I keep getting jagged and horizontal lines after scanning. They came out fine a few times but even on 300 ppi it looks bad. Please give me some advice. Thank you.

    Hello Hulkamania,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having some issues with the scan quality with lines and jagged images.
I have seen this issue before and I was able to resolve it quit easily by doing one simple step.
Please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
Use the ON/OFF button to do a proper power cycle on the printer once it has been connected to a wall outlet.  This will do a Semi Power reset on the printer.
Try another scan and let me know how it turns out.  Try multiple scans if you like.
    Thanks for your time.
    Cheers,

  • [LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw] only vertical lines when scanning, scanner broken?

Hi all! I have a problem with the scanner in my HP all in one. If I scan (using the printer function or apples ImageCapture: same result) the output is just a lot of vertical stripes (in colors when in color mode). Not a trace of the image I try to scan. The lines are there even if i scan an empty white page. I see the stripes both when doing a preview scan and an actual scan. The problems are very similar regardless of if I use the flatbed or the feeder scanner (they are separate scanner hardware, yes?). I have updated to the latest software for the printer/scanner and I am connecting over bonjour via wireless. I am on Os X 10.9.1. Anybody having similar problems or is my scanner just plain broken? Thanks in advance!Jon

, , I understand that both of you are seeing vertical lines when scanning from your Laserjet M276nw. First, make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector. Now, so I know where to begin I'd need to know the following:If you are seeing the vertical lines when you copy as well as scan? Are you seeing the vertical lines when you copy from the flatbed? The document feeder? both?If you are seeing the lines from both the flatbed and the feeder are they in the same place?Once I know this I'll be better able to assist you.

  • OfficeJet 6700 Line when scanning over ADF

    Hello guys,
i've got a very strange problem with our OfficeJet 6700 Scanner.
Since a few days, all scans have a vertical line on them when they are scanned using the ADF.
The lines don't appear if i scan via flatbed.
I've researched a bit and found out, that the problem could lay inside the ADF, so i opened the ADF an cleaned all parts described at this article from HP Support.
But cleaning didn't help,  so i don't know what else could cause that problem.
Does anybody have an advice for me?
best regards and thanks in advance
    Markus

    Hi @MarkusF ,
I read your post and see that you are getting lines when scanning from the ADF.  Thanks for providing the document you have already tried and had the same results. I would be happy to help you.
Usually this issue is caused by a dirty glass or the printer isn't getting enough power. Since you already cleaned the glass and ADF, make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Updating the printer's firmware may also resolve this issue. Here is the link to get to the firmware for the printer. I see that the website is changed a bit. Select Option 2 and wait for the page to load and then select the link for firmware.
    Software and Drivers.
If there is anything else I can help you with, just let me know.
    Have a nice day!
    Thank You.

  • Why do I get faint horizontal lines when I print from elements 12 mac

why do I get faint horizontal lines when I print from elements 12 mac

    Hi Ben,
I can't reproduce that behavior.  The only two things I can think of at the moment are (1) you accidentally added a shortcut as a panel shortcut instead of a diagram shortcut or (2) the name of the object you specified isn't for the "Multiply" node, but for some other node (you said "Multiplication" in your initial post) that can only be dropped in certain places (i.e. maybe it's a node that is only valid in Simulation diagrams).  Can you post the following lines from your LabVIEW INI file so I can look into it further:
    QuickDropDiagramShortcuts
    QuickDropPanelShortcuts
    Let me know,
    -D
    Edit:  Yeah, what he said.

  • Black horizontal lines when printing

The printer prints all black horizontal lines on several pages wehn starting to print or copy. totally black and unreadable.  After several pages, it gets better, but still is not a totally clean print. I have reveiwed all your suggetsions. The scanning works fine, only printing is a problem.  I have cleaned everything, replaced print cartridges, but nothing works.  Someone supggested there is a controlling cartridge that my need to be replaced.  I cannot find any information on this  anywhere.    Please help, thank you, Pam

Can you scan a print showing the defect and post it here?  It would help to understand the nature of the lines and at what space they repeat.

  • 3 years old A100-001: horizontal lines when playing games

    Dear Everyone!
I have a Satellite A100-001 notebook, almost 3 years old, with 3 GB memory ram, nVidia GO 7600 256 MbRam VGA with rather fresh (6 months old) Windows 7 Professional 32 bit OS.
I use my notebook every day, mostly for work or gameplaying. I never had a problem (and this is why I love Toshiba) until yesterday: when I play, after a few minutes (5-10-15 at most), the screen turns stripped with horizontal lines, and freezes down. Like I said, I never had a problem before.
I don't really know what happened. Could anyone tell me a solution?
I've been thinking of the loss of temp control. I don't really think that the VGA card died (or at least, I hope).
    Thanks for you support!

    Hi
Hmm the lines on the notebook screen could be related to the graphic chip issue but you should connect an external monitor to be 100% sure that this is a vga related issue and not notebooks monitor problem
But in my opinion its vga issue possibly the graphic chip starts to malfunction due to a higher temperature while gaming what do you think about this theory?
I think you use this notebook long time and maybe the cooling fans dont work properly due to the dust. How about cleaning the cooling module?
Try an compressed air spray. Such tool helps to get rid of dust and debris
    Good luck

  • Horizontal Line When Image is Moving

    Hey Guys,
Just burned a DVD from iDVD and the thatre are horizontal lines distort the image when there's movement. What's the problem? Thanks so much for any help.
    Jennifer

Without seeing it the exact reason is hard to diagnose.
It could be caused my interlacing artifacts which can be cured in FCE with the Deinterlace Filter.
However, you have to spot the problem while you are editing and the only way you can do that is to have a TV connected to your Mac, as a normal computer screen does not show these problems.

  • Scanned Images Have Yellow Lines When Using the HP 2400 Scanner

I have a HP 2400 scanner. The scanner was working fine on Wednesday, Sept. 10. I tried to scan a photo (Jpeg) and a document (PDF) but there were yellow lines going through each item. I reconnected the scanner and attempted to rescan the photo and document. The yellow line still appeared. Please let me know what I can do to correct the problem.

    Hello there,
To get your issue more exposure, I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since your product is a commercial product. You can do this at Commercial Forums - Scanners.

  • MF4800 printing black horizontal lines when printing pdf. Other canon printer prints fine.

I have a Canon MF4800, when I print pdf documents, it prints random black horizonatal bars, they appear to be every second line where the text is. This exact same document prints fine on a Canon MF4370. I have the same problem on 2 laptops and a desktop (all three print to the MF4370 fine, but not on the MF4800 so this is obviously a problem with the MF4800.  The MF4800 prints Word and Excel documents fine, only issue is with PDF documents. Thanks for any help!! Cheers,  Jeff

  • Scanning 35MM slides - which DPI?

I would like to scan several hundred 35 MM slides with my Epson 3200 scanner, and create a slide show with iMove.
The scanner will scan slides up to 4800 dpi, but it will take a lot of time and create very large files as well.
Is it really necessary to scan at such a high DPI for this project or could I get good results with lower DPI.
    Thanks

    Hi John,
This page should help you decide. What it all comes down to is, what you want to do with the final images...web, print, really big prints, just for viewing on your computer, etc.

  • Horizontal lines on flatbed scan Model G4050

My HP G4050 flatbed scanner makes random horizontal lines in scans, as well as slightly doubled (blurred) images--as if the camera had moved slightly during a longer exposure.   This just suddenly started happening.  Every scan has a different configuration of lines--there is no pattern to it.  What is causing this---and can I fix it?

    Hello Helephant,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand your Scanjet G4050 will scan, how ever it will leave lines in the document. You could, if not already, clean the glass and backing plate of the scanner. Since you mentioned it is not a common spot the lines present them self, it may not help. Scanned Image is Fuzzy.
An update may also help, "Dust and Scratch Removal" or "6-Color Scanning" options do not work in Windows.
I hope those suggestions have helped.

  • I have a 4500 G510n that leaves horizontal lines in photos when printing

When printing photos I get horizontal lines about 1/8 inch apart from the top to bottom.  I have tried to set the print quality to a better resolution  and it doesn't make any difference.

I understand you're getting horizontal lines when you print photos. I would take a look at this document.
Let me know how it goes.
