HP Simplepass not working with any version of Firefox

Long story short, after I upgraded to Firefox 6 and discovered my HP Simplepass doesn't work, I reverted back to Firefox 3.6 but can't get any version of HP Simplepass to work. I originally had the Digital Persona version, which I upgraded to the EgisTec version. I currently have version EgisTec 7.0.74.0 installed (supposed to work with FF 4.0 and no luck). I have tried older versions of HP Simplepass with no luck as well. I also tried to go back to my original Digital Persona version, but can't get it to reinstall (1722...error as discussed in other posts here). I can't seem to overcome that either. Any suggestions? I am pulling my hair out.

Usually they didn't bother to update it until like halfway through the "run" of a particular Firefox version. It worked for like 6 months and then a new version of Firefox was released, and it didn't work for like 6 months until HP got around to fixing it - then the cycle repeated.

My web pplication does not working with new version of firefox 31. It uses heatmap.js plugin for leaflet.js to build temperature map.

After update firefox to version 31 I could not see temperature map in browser for this example. But with previous version of firefox I could see it.
My web application users leaflet.js and heatmap.js plugin. It users the same code as on the example page.
After updating firefox version it saying "your script take too long time to run. Continue?" again and again and temperature map does not appear.
I use leaflet-0.7.2.js and heatmap-1.0.js plugin for leaflet.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

I have requested and accepted the most current Firefox program updates with my windows vista system. They are not registering but I am told they are downloaded. Then I cannot get the printer option to work with any version of firefox. in English

I have taken the firefox updates when offered to 4.4. I have the browser as an aside to Internet Explorer 9 as a backup browser. When I use Firefox I am being told my system is not up to date and I need a newer version. I download the version and keep getting told I am not current with firefox. Schwab brokerage website not working with any version beyond 3.6. Continully get kicked out of the site and have to log back in. 3.6 version works fine. None of the other version will work with Schwab Client Website. What is the problem?

As I select tabs on the Schwab Client Web Site I am kicked out with a message that says I've timed out and must log back in. All version beyond 3.6 have this same problem.

Going all the way back to Firefox 3.0.5 is shear foolishness, it is 14 security versions behind the last 3.0.19 release. And that version is missing at least a dozen security updates that were applied to the 3.5 and 3.6 versions after support for 3.0.x ended.
If you are not happy with Firefox 4, you should have installed Firefox 3.6.17. That is very similar to the 3.0 and has all the security fixes that have been released since support for Firefox 3.0.x ended last year.

BBC Radio iPlayerwill not work with latest version of Firefox.

I have updated all necessary software (Flashplayer, etc.) and am forced to use Internet Explorer to listen to BBC Radio. Earlier versions of Firefox do not have this problem. I am not a computer programer, just a user. I have used Firefox for years and been able to listened to BBC Radio for years. I've read all the advice on various Firefox fora and not found anything useful in solving this problem. It seems to be a problem intrinsic to the latest version of Firefox itself. Before I suggest you to revert back to Firefox 28.

My HP printers' software is disabled by/not compatible with any versions of Firefox I have ever installed and this is extreme;y inconvenient.

I have Windows Vista as my operating system, I install every Firefox update. An earlier version of Firefox allowed me to use my 1st HP printer but haven't been able to use that printer or a newer one for 2 years. I used to reinstall the software each time but now that doesn't work either.
I want to use my two very good HP printers/software with my laptop.
I have an HP computer and 2 HP printers and want to have them work together.

Is your wretched printer the same model? How about the Mac - and your OS.

Why is Hotmail Calendar not working with latest version of Firefox

I was prompted to load the 'latest' version of Firefox this morning, which I duly did. Since then my Hotmail account has worked fine for send and receive but I cannot access my calendar. Screen simply says "loading...." and never actually loads.
I have shut my lap top down fully and rebooted but the situation remains the same.
I have 2 Hotmail accounts and this problem is the same for both. Please could you advise.

iSight is the camera. I expect you mean that Skype will not recognize the camera.
(1) Did you restart Mac and try again?
(2) Did you use Disk Utility to repair permissions before and after installing Skype?

Facetime only works via WiFi. Are you trying to set up Facetime with a T-Mobile account?

I am running 10.8 and I am trying to get a E-mu 1x1 midi/usb connector to work with my keyboards. It's not working with any keyboard at all. I believe it is a Mainstage/Mac issue. Mainstage can recognize the the interface but it won't work.

Here are two screen shots to show you what I am seeing. The first screen shot shows it allowing me to select (highlighted in blue) my admin user (which is what I am locced in as). The second screen shot shows it allowing me to select the "Guest" user (highlighted in blue). However when I click on the user "Orion" nothing happens. It will not change to highlight that user.

Simple Pass Not Working with Chrome Version 42.0.2311.90 m

SimplePass stopped working today. I noticed a while ago that I no longer had to manually add the Website Logon extension anymore. A small window popped up with a warning about using developer extensions and SimplePass worked. Website Logon extension is enabled, but SimplePass isn't working.
Does anyone know I can fix this? Many thanks in advance.
As a last resort, I have gone back to a previous restore point. Now SimplePass is working. However, I would still like resolution as I expect to encounter this problem again with other updates, etc. Can someone tell me what Windows Update may have caused the problem so I can not apply that particular update?

can any body tell me why is it doing this?
or how i can tell if its just the headphone jack w/o taking it to an apple store? I really dont have the time until the end of the semester and i dont want my macbook crashing on me when working on a project.

When you plug the headphones in can you still hear the audio through the MacBook's built-in speakers? If you can then you may have a physical problem with the audio port on the MacBook. In any case, you should check to see if the headphones are being recognized in the System Preferences -> Sound control panel (under the "Output" tab). Note that it is possible to have different volume/mute settings between the speakers and the headphones so you need to check the Sound control panel to see if you have the headphone output set to mute. When I plug a set of headphones into my MacBook the output name in the Sound control panel changes to "Headphones" from "Internal Speakers." You should check to see if you see the same behavior on your MacBook.
