HP Split 13-m008tu x2 Multiple Defects(worst HP Service)

Hello HP Officials,
I have purchased
HP Split 13-m008tu x2 on 7th Nov'13
Product No. E6F70PA,
Serial No. [Personal Information Removed]
From day one I am facing multiple issues with the Notebook.
DEFECT OBSERVATION :
Whenever I use my Logitech MK220 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse then system gets hanged up & pointer of the mouse starts dangling but when I remove the battery of keyboard or the mouse then only one device works fine at a time i.e either the mouse or keyboard but simultaneously both doesnt work while checked on other notebooks same device work fine.
After few days I used dell wireless keyboard&mouse & found the same issue. But I ignored this issue this for future assuming minor one.
Second issue I observed when I started using datacard for internet, after the use of datacard for 2-3 or sometime 4-6 hrs,sim card fails to detect network even it stops detecting in mobiles thereafter. This way I have almost replaced 6-7 simcards after failure which according to retailer, simcards are getting shortcircuited.Assuming myself that retailer is wrong & problem might be with my datacard or simcard , I tried from other datacards also but resulted into same failure problem.
Thirdly the major & most irritating issue happened with me is files after opening from flashdrives or external harddisks,It gets automatically closed after few minutes or an hour,it can be frequently observed when you open & close the screen panel of the notebook, drive gets rebooted.I had this severe problem when I was showing presentation in a meeting in front of senior officials & PPT file got closed so many times during presentation.
All these have really frustrated me bcoz this newly brought notebook has so many issue.I had real faith on HP from so many past years and whole my family uses HP notebook & it has been always been my 1st preference so I recommended them to buy HP products. This is the reason I have bought this costly notebook IN PLACE OF APPLE MACBOOK but today I really feel repent on my decision.
I have tried onsite customer service but never got response & any visit. Finally when I went to delhi for official work & spared my time to get it checked from HP authorised service centre "JABIL Center,JASOLA DISTRICT CENTRE,JASOLA NEW DELHI 110025.
I told them these issues very clearly & shown them the demo also of external drive or flash drive getting rebooted.I was not having keyboard & mouse with me so told them to check them with theirs.
I submitted notebook on 9th Jan & since I was suppose to leave the city on 13th & told them that will take it back on 12th sat. evening.
Finally when I went there after getting call from them to take the notebook back as issue has been resolved but to my surprise nothing was resolved. They just updated the BIOS.Again I shown them the rebooting issue in front of the technician & he was like surprised & never known about this issue. It was so unsatisfying experience again & ended up by wasting my whole time. They ended up saying that comeagain to delhi & we will get you resolved from this issue & also they make us understand like we are illiterate on use of notebooks & their issue.
I dont understand whether HP professionals require this much huge time to diagnose issue even after detail description & demo of the problem in front.
After Repair from HP Service Centre :
Now sometimes even small movement or walk, the notebook reboots the docking station.
Audio Jack not working properly.
Some Keys of keyboard appears hard to press & rest as earlier.
Already its too tough for me to spare my time from notebook as I have to work on it contineously. I dont know how much time you people will take it to resolve but this time unless & untill this whole newly purchased & defected notebook is replaced with newone I am not going to take it back from technician & I will reach to those person who will really get it finally replaced.
Looking Forward to listen from HP Officials & awaiting for positive intiative which will lead to customer satisfaction as per HP's quality pledge.
Please request you for DOA of this notebook.
Thanks & Regards

  • Split the IDOC into multiple IDOC if the IDOC has more than 500 records

    Hi All,
I developed an outbound IDOC in which we are facing an issue.
There is some limitation on the maximum idoc size it can handle.
If number of records is more than 500, split the idoc into multiple iDoc's, e.g. if it would have 1300 records , the result would be 2 iDoc's with 500 records, and the last one would have 300 records
    How can i acheive this.
    Regards
    Jai

    Hi,
    1) first you need to know which message type/Idoc type you are triggering.
    2) Get the Corresponding processcode from Partner profiles(WE20/ WE41).
    3) Then the look for prper user-exit in the related processing FM.
    4) write logic to split the IDoc accordingly.
if no proper user exit available then copy the standard processing FM and need to all ALE related configurations.
Catch hold any ABAP expert in your team to do all these.

  • Split Single IDOC into Multiple IDOC's Based on Segment Type

    Hi Experts,
I have a scenario IDOC to FILE ,  Split Single IDOC into Multiple IDOC's based on Segment Type
    Outbound:
    ZIdocName
    Control Record
    Data Record
    Segment 1
    Segment 2
    Segment 3
    Status Record
I should get output like below
    Inbound:
    ZIdocName
    Control Record
    Data Record
    Segment 1
    Status Record
    ZIdocName
    Control Record
    Data Record
    Segment 2
    Status Record
    ZIdocName
    Control Record
    Data Record
    Segment 3
    Status Record
Please suggest me step by step process to achieve this task.
    Thanks.

Thanks a lot Harish for reply.
I have small doubt. According to your reply , If we have N number of segments in single IDOC with same fields in all segments then for splitting Single IDOC into Multiple IDOC's based on Segment Type we need to duplicate N number of target IDOC tree structure.
Is that possible to Split single IDOC into Multiple IDOC's based on Segment Type using only one Target IDOC structure without duplicating the Target IDOC structure tree.

    Hi ,
As a far I understood from your example ,
    I have few questions...
    1. You have information about the patient in a 1 source table.
    2. how u are identifying for patient X u need 5 rows to be created. R u storing these informations in seprate table or how ...
    3. if you have these information in a seperate tables ..... a simple cross join in ODI should get you the expected result.....
Or give some more information with a example ..that would be great ...
    Thanks

  • Split one row into multiple columns

    Hi,
Data in one CLOB column in a table storing with delimiter, ##~~##. Ex. ##~~##abc##~~##defgh##~~##ijklm##~~##nopqr (data starts with delimiter). Please help me to split the data into multiple rows like below and it should be in the same order.
    abc
    defgh
    ijklm
    nopqr
    I am using Oracle 11g.
    Thanks.

Thanks Hoek for your response. Before posting my question in the forum, I tried similar query. It is working with one character as delimiter.
with test as (select 'ABC,DEF,GHI,JKL,MNO' str from dual )
    select regexp_substr (str, '[^,]+', 1, rownum) split
    from test
    connect by level <= length (regexp_replace (str, '[^,]+')) + 1;
Above query is giving correct result by fetching 5 rows. I have modified the query like below...
with test as (select 'ABC,,,DEF,,,GHI,,,JKL,,,MNO' str from dual )
    select regexp_substr (str, '[^,,,]+', 1, rownum) split
    from test
    connect by level <= length (regexp_replace (str, '[^,,,]+')) + 1;
Above query resulting 13 rows and last 8 rows are nulls. Number of null rows are increasing, if I increase number of characters in delimiter. Could you please tell me how to avoid those null rows.
    Thanks.

  • Split single row in multiple rows based on date range

I need sql script that can split single row in multiple rows based on start date and end date column in table.
    Thank you

I agree to your suggestion of having a dates table permanently in the database. Thats how we also do for most of our projects as well
But in most projects the ownership  of table creation etc lies with the client as they will be the DBAs and will be design approval authorities. What I've seen is the fact that though
many of them are in favour of having calendar table they dont generally prefer having a permanent table for numbers in the db. The best that they would agree is for creating a UDF which will have
tally table functionality built into it based on a number range and can be used in cases where we need to multiply records as above.
Wherever we have the freedom of doing design then I would also prefer creating it as a permanent table with required indexes as you suggested.
    >> many of them are in favour of having calendar table they dont generally prefer having a permanent table
Those people do not understand about database and are not DBAs :-)
It is our job to tell them what is right or wrong.
** This is a real story! I had a client several years back, who was the CEO of a software company.
    He use the query:
    select * from table_name
In order to get the last ID!
The table_name was actually a view that took data from several tables, and the main table that he wanted to get the ID included several string columns, with lot of data!
he actually pulled all this data to the application, just to get the lat ID in a specific table!
It is our job as Consultants or DBAs to fix's his misunderstanding :-)

  • Split single row into multiple rows containing time periods

    Hi,
I have a table with rows like this:
    id, intime, outtime
    1, 2010-01-01 00:10, 2010-01-3 20:00
I would like to split this row into multiple rows, 1 for each 24hr period in the record.
i.e. The above should translate into:
    id, starttime, endtime, period
    1, 2010-01-01 00:10, 2010-01-02 00:10, 1
    1, 2010-01-02 00:10, 2010-01-03 00:10, 2
    1, 2010-01-03 00:10, 2010-01-03 20:00, 3
The first starttime should be the intime and the last endtime should be the outtime.
Is there a way to do this without hard-coding the 24hr periods?
    Thanks,
    Dan Scott

Thanks for all the feedback, Dan.
It appears that the respective solutions provided will give you: a) different resultsets and b) different performance.
Regarding your 'truly desired resultset' you haven't answered all questions from my previous post (there are differences in the provided examples), but anyway:
I found that using CEIL or ROUND makes quite a difference, using my 'simple 3 record testset' (30 records vs. 66 records got initially returned, that's less than half of the original). That's quite a difference. However, I must call it a day (since it's almost midnight) for now, so there's room for more optimizement and I haven't thoroughly tested.
But this might hopefully make a difference performancewise when compared to my previous 'dreaded example':
    SQL> drop table t;
    Table dropped.
    SQL> create table  t as
      2  select 1 id, to_date('2010-01-01 00:10', 'yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi') intime, to_date('2010-01-03 20:00', 'yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi') outtime from dual union all
      3  select 2 id, to_date('2010-02-01 00:10', 'yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi') intime, to_date('2010-02-05 20:00', 'yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi') outtime from dual union all
      4  select 3 id, to_date('2010-03-01 00:10', 'yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi') intime, to_date('2010-03-03 00:10', 'yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi') outtime from dual;
    Table created.
    SQL> select id
      2  ,      max(intime)+level-1 starttime
      3  ,      case
      4           when level = to_char(max(t.outtime), 'dd')
      5           then max(t.outtime)
      6           else max(t.intime)+level
      7         end outtime
      8  ,      level period
      9  from   t
    10  connect by level <= round(outtime-intime)
    11  group by id, level
    12  order by 1,2;
            ID STARTTIME           OUTTIME                 PERIOD
             1 01-01-2010 00:10:00 02-01-2010 00:10:00          1

  • Installing multiple copies of the SAME service on a BOX

This is a "Best Practice" question for BOE-XI (3.x).
I have dug through the 3.1 DEPLOYMENT training, Admin and Pattern documents, but none of them clearly discuss anything around installing multiple copies of the SAME service (eg. CMS, ReportJob) on the same physical server if it has more that 1 CPU.
The documents detail the "per CPU" limits of a service, but don't detail if we should install multiple services to take advantage of the multiple CPUs available on a specific Physical Server.
For example - the Crystal Report Job Server can support five (5) simultaneous report jobs per CPU by default.
If we have a 2 CPU machine, do we run one (1) CRJS service - but increase the "Maximum Jobs Allowed" setting to Ten (10), or do we install two (2) CRJS services each with a default limit of Five (5)...?
Does this rule apply to all services including the One (1) CPU for One-Hundred (100) simultaneous requests sizing-limit on the CMS..? That doesn't appear to be a setting we can control within the CMC.
Can you run more than one CMS service on a specific Physical Server...?
Thanks in advance for the advice.

I personally have run 20 jobs per Crystal Job server and most were dual processor dual core.  I had over 1000 jobs a night, but not all at 1am...although most were within 2 hours of the same time.
I was able to get through them.  However, I had 4 Crystal Job servers.  Its all about your hardware being taxed.
I broke off my CMS away from the processing tier.  So I could have multiple Crystal Job servers.
We had 3 processing tier servers all doing Crystal Jobs and Webi jobs.  I had 60 running at one time for Crystal. 20 per job server.
i could have added the Crystal job servers to the same server, but the hardware was getting busy.
I would have at least 2 CMS's as they support 500 concurrent users (Sessions?) each.
This helped us - and we had over 8k reports in our repository.  We were getting bound by memory constraints.
Once you get to 64 bit OS and App, (BO XI 4.0 sometime in 2010) it will help with this problem.
The only other way in the 32 bit environment is to add servers, even VM's if you have to as long as they are different hosts, but that adds expensive BOE CPU licenses - the big caveat to that.
That's how we solved the problem...

  • Multiple authentication in One WCF Service

    Hello,
I need to use some authentication in my WCF Service, could you please if it is possible to use multiple authentication in One WCF Service? If it is possible, how to implement it.
    Thank you.

    Hi helloGoodman,
I wonder if you mean that you want to use multiple authentication in One WCF Service endpoint, if so in WCF 4.5, it is supported to use multiple authentication in a single endpoint, for more information,
please try to refer to the following articles:
#Using Multiple Authentication Schemes with WCF:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh556235(v=vs.110).aspx .
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/james_osbornes_blog/archive/2011/11/04/2-auth-modes-on-1-endpoint-using-multiple-authentication-schemes-with-serviceauthorizationmanager.aspx .
If you mean that you want to use multiple authentication in One WCF Service not in a single endpoint, then I will recommand you use multiple endpoints and in each endpoint you can use the independent authentication mode which you want.

  • GSS multiple health checks for a service

    Hi All
Does anyone know whether a GSS can perform multiple health checks for a service. For example I want the GSS to check whether the servers (south side) are up/down, but I also want it to check another criteria before determining whether a service is up/down?
    I hope this makes sense.
    Thanks,

  • Can I have multiple Serialized items on a service request for an "Installation" type of SR?

Can I have multiple Serialized items on a service request for an "Installation" type of SR? We normally ship our machines out in batches of 6, 12, and 20 with installation by our Field Servie Techs. They would like to be able to open a single SR for the installation but would want to "Tag" the Machines for it. I am not sure the posibility of this?

  • Split shopping cart into multiple PO depending storage location

    Hi ,
In our implemenation (Extended classic-SRM 5.0) , have requiement to  have mutiple Local POs from a shopping cart where there are multiple storage locations for same plant ,same vendor, same purchasing group, same purchasing organization, same delivery date.
In SRM standard Shopping cart can be splitted into mutiple POs if there are mutiple vendors or multiple purchasing group or mutiple purchaisng orgnization or mutiple delivery date or combination of them but not for mutiple storage location location. As storage location in line item level of PO, SC can't be splitted into mutiple POs in SRM standard.
Is there any way we can fulfill this requirement. ?
    Regards

    Hi,
Have a look at BAdi BBP_GROUP_LOC_PO, it will cater your needs.
    I hope it helps.

  • Splitting photos without creating multiple events.

Is this possible? I have one event in iPhoto which covers three days. I would like all my photos from this event together but I want each day sectioned off in the same event, not split into multiple events. Highlighting the photos from each day and clicking "split" puts the days all in separate events where as I want them sectioned off, but together in ONE event. I hope I am making myself clear.
My aim is to have it looking something like this:
    Event:
    Day 1
    Day 2
    Day 3
    NOT
    Event: Day 1
    Event: Day 2
    Event: Day 3

    tensocfan
Now with Events as you cannot have Nested Events, but it's perfectly possible with Albums:
File -> New Folder: Name it 3 Day Event
Then three Albums (you can even make them smart Albums: Date is Whatever)
And drag the Albums to the Folder.

  • Split TIF document with multiple pages

    Hi,
Iu2019m using function module 'SCMS_HTTP_GET' to retrieve TIF document from Filenet.  The TIF document returned has multiple pages.  Iu2019m able to retrieve the document with no issue.  What I need to do is split the TIF document for each page.
Is there a way in ABAP to split the TIF on each page break?
The reason I need to split is later in program I call FM SSFC_BASE64_ENCODE passing data to Adobe form that uses IMAGE FIELD object to display TIF.  I have no issue displaying TIF with 1 page on adobe form.  But if there are multiple pages only the first page is displayed in the Adobe PDF.  I was thinking if I could split the TIF that contains multiple page into individual TIF I would then pass in table to PDF form to display all pages of the TIF.
    Appreciate the help,
    Gary

    Hi,
I'm also in the same situation. I am uploading the TIf file with multiple pages, but only the first page is printing. Did you get any luck in either printing all pages OR program which can spilt...
    Thanks,
    Sarma
