HP Stream 13 has weird audio distortion on youtube videos.

I just got a hp stream 13 and for some reason when I play a youtube video the audio will have strange audio distortions that will happen for a moment on the video. The video itself is smooth but the audio will hiccup. I have the most up to date audio driver. This happens in internet explorer and chrome. I even restored the laptop to original settings and its still happening. I played pandora and that was fine. I would appreciate any help on this one.

I had a similar issue on a HP 15 Notebook PC andh recent s/w updates and a manual cache clean for flash the issue has resolved.
While investigating I noted if I download a youtube clip this played normally, no issues with sound playback namely a "garbled/cracking/compressed distortion sound". This suggested the issue is not in fact with the hardware.
I noted forums on dells web site for similar issues and some high end laptops for other manufacturer's. I noted also firefox was not so impacted as IE using HTML verses Flash player and not all you tube clips displayed the issue. I saw the issue on some BBC news items but not on others from the BBC. I found streaming radio and music no issues issue only occured with Video content when streamed.
I am aware your model is different but the issue appears to be not model or manufacture dependant.
My O/S Windows 8.1 64-bit
Activity:
1. Adobe upgraded to lastest version (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/)
2. clear adobe flash player cache run the program "Flash Player" and from the popup "flash player setting manger" select advanced delete "browsing data and settings" i cleaered everything.
Using the HP support assistant search for updates and install "Audio and sound" TAB I have the following drivers installed
For the record my pc
Device: Intel Display Audio Version: 6.16.0.3154
Device: Reltek High Definition Audio Drivers : RTKVHD64.sys 6.0.1.7156
Since new I have recieved also updated to the bios

No audio when playing YOUTUBE videos on ipod touch via a docking station

Hi there, when my ipod touch is docked on its docking station, it will not play audio on youtube videos, it will play the video but not the audio through the docking station speaker. It used to play audio without problems before, but recently it has stopped. When i take the ipod touch off the docking station the audio on the youtube video returns. any ideas why this has happened? it plays the youtube audio through the head phones too, i can play all other audio through the docking station speakers with out a problem.

There are no setting to change on the iPod.
Have you updated either the firmware on the car or on the iPod since they last played in the car?

Weird audio artifact in my video timeline.

I have what appears to be an audio clip showing up on my video track of the timeline. Cant get rid if it unless I restart FCPX. It is neither an audio clip or a video clip. Just a visual artifact that covers up clip on timeline. May have begun after I loaded lion.

Can you post a screen shot of it?
I have noticed on some of my student's Mac's that FCP X does have occational screen re-drawn issues.

Audio distortion on any video application - coreaudio issue?

When watching any video - flash in web browsers, iTunes, VLC, etc the audio will start to skip and stutter and will then go into full distortion. I have to kill coreaudio and allow it to restart itself to fix the issue. This has been going on for quite a while, came back after two full OS re-installs and happens almost every time and when it does it happens several times.
I've read other people having a similar issue with no resolution, just curious if there might be a solution I've missed.

Hi, I am having the same issue I believe. Lately I even got a few times the black popup screen forcing me to restart the machine. This happens always when the stuttering gets really bad, eventually the whole OS seems to stutter, apps become irresponsive during the stuttering and at the end the whole OS hangs and I can't do anything.
The problem starts each time while playing a video, in Safari or Firefox, or VLC.
I have tried several things, including clean installing of Snow Leopard (the problem happened in my previous Tiger too, although it seems to be worse now), reinstalling the Flash Plugins several times, trying various other tips and tricks I found while googling (removing the Macromedia Folder in Library > Preferences, ....).
Also wondering if somebody got an answer...
I am thinking probably my graphics card has a hardware defect but when I go to Apple > About My Mac > More Info > Hardware > Diagnostics I see that the hardware tests pass.
Does anybody know if there a more thorough hardware diagnostics tool for Macs out there?

Urgent: BAD audio distortion on youtube upload.

I finished an edit a few days ago and uploaded it to youtube. Image quality was all fine but the audio was awful. All distorted and seemingly over compressed, there was whirling and other odd noises. The audio is high quality, why is it suffering from compression? I used denoiser on many of the clips to tune down mic hiss. Is this an issuer? I tried about 10 different audio exports but none worked. Edit needs to be up asap, any help would be great.
My audio is from an Olympus voice recorder. Mp3 format, 192kbps, 44100 Hz.
I exported to youtube as high quality AAC audio. How can I solve this?

And the audio works without denoiser
So the Denoiser is causing an issue and the issue is caused by using a device not designed for HQ purpose?
Go with out the denoiser if you cant re record on something better. Is it a VO?

Anyone have issues with audio stopping on youtube videos?

I will play the same video a few times but lately when I play it the audio stops working. This happens when I am connected with headphones or when I am playing the video over the phones speakers. I have also verified that the volume is turned up. I thought at first it could be the individual video being watched but now I am not so sure as this is the second video that has done this.

I'd love to help you figure this out! Normal wear and tear does not void the warranty, but damage such as a crack or a break would. Since we are unable to see the device, if you are unsure, we suggest bringing it in to the Verizon store for an evaluation.

Audio issue with Youtube video

I am creating some videos to upload to Youtube. I am having a problem with audio. I am creating and uploading using Adobe Premiere CC and Media Encoder. When I upload the video to Youtube, I have no issues. The problem I am facing is when I play it on mobile phone, I get now audio tracks (vocal) playing through the phones speaker. I do get the audio track I rendered through After Effects. However, I can hear the vocals On a PC, Ipad etc. I can hear the vocals through a headphone plugged into the phone or via bluetooth. I am using the H.264 codec with youtube 1080 settings. Any suggestions and yes I have tried a different phone to see if it was and issue with the phone.

Try to disable hardware acceleration.

What causes stuttering audio playback in YouTubes videos?

I was advised to clear the stuttering by:
1. Safari/Pref/Privacy/Remove All Website Data/Delete both items/Close Prefs
2. System Pref/Flash Player/Advanced/Browsing Data/Delete All/Close Prefs
3. Restart Mavericks
It works TEMPORARILY.
What the heck is causing this crap to continue, I get tired of doing this every other day.
It's only in Mavericks, it does not effedt my iPad Air w 7.0.6.
Anyone know why this stuttering percists in MAVERICKS?

From the menu bar, select
 ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. Test.
If there's no improvement, reboot and test again.

HP stream 13 audio distortion

Just picked up an HP stream 13 and during netflix / playing music from itunes it will "buzz" or "freeze" for a second or two and distort, the video plays through the sound. Brand new out of box.

Lots of people seem to be having this problem. My girlfriend really likes this laptop but I may have to return it with problems arising so early.

Do you have the same problems with sound in stand alone videos or when playing a DVD?
Do you have multiple windows open running any system intense applications?
Was it doing this straight out of the box, or after installing some updates, or having surfed the web for a time?
Have you checked the system for anything like malware or viruses?

No Audio YouTube videos

Use Adobe Flashplayer v 11.8.800.97 on a Windows desktop. Have lost all audio when viewing YouTube videos. However, Pandora works fine. Is there a compatability problem with YouTube? Any solution suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

.Mov files in CC : The File Has no Audio or Video Streams

I recently updated premier to CC , since i have issues iimporting any .mov files at all.
The specific ones Im trying for my current project are exports from AE , rendered lossless animation .mov , worked fine in CS6 , will play in quicktime and other generic's but always getting the The FIle Has no Audio or Video Streams message when trying to import into a project.
Quicktime is updated so I can't understand why the won't play, is this a CC bug ?
i go back to cs6 on my other comp they open fine...
Ive seen a few topics on this none with a resolution and most of those where from cam's, this is an export from AE, anyone able to help this is stopping me from working atm ......

I can verify that Apple screen recordings without audio do not import into any Adobe premeier.

However Apple (MAC OSX) screen recordings WITH audio will import.
I would think this should be fixable with hotfixes...
If you (adobe staff) have access to macbook pros 2012 or 2013 models, open quick time pro, do a screen recording, make sure no audio is recording, just your screen movements.. then export to 1080p video (mov is only option).. then on a windows PC try to import that file into adobe premiere. The file will play perfectly fine natively in windows with any player so long as a H264 decoder is available on that system... the problem here is Adobe Premiere. Not the users system.
Edit:
To help those with this issue.. just make sure when you render your mov that you have ANY kind of audio in it.. and just remove the audio track once imported into premiere. I know it's frustrating and you would think something as simple as not having an audio track wouldn't break premiere but alas... we have to work around the shortcomings until they decide to fix it.. just like the VFR issue in premiere.

'File has no audio or video streaming' error -- I have codecs!

I really hope someone can help me!
I am trying to import MOV files into Premiere CS5 (latest version, just downloaded last week) and I get the error message "file has no audio or video streaming.'
I can open these files just fine in Final Cut Pro X (which I hate, so hence why I am back on Premiere).
I already downloaded Quicktime 7, and the Quicktime Pro Codecs here (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1396). When I tried to install those codecs, I got an error saying there is a newer version of the codecs installed on my machine.
My info:
Mac OS 10.6.8
Quicktime 10
(I read you also needed to download Quicktime 7 for some codecs. I did that, but it didn't help.)
