HP Support Web Page Failing "Errors on this page might cause it to work incorrectly"

My computer is an HP DV6930US running Fresh Windows Vista 64bit, then SP2 and IE9 and Java 10....The only installed is Norton 360...I have a lot of problems with this computer and need to restore it to its original state before it started to go crazy...Giving me a lot of trouble ifgx display drivers, usb port s not working, wifi not working, etc...
After I resotred I have decide to visit HP to download some drivers and the HP Support Web is giving me errors and the format is not good enoguh and is not working...it is like a going round in circles when I try to Download drives...they do not appears even when i select the software and drivers downloads...
Anyway...The "Errors on this page might cause it to work incorrectly" pop up windows are comming all the time and the web page really does not work. I tries to run IE9 in 32bit or in 64bit but it is the same..others web pages are working ok.... I have Screen Shots of erros in case that HP interest them..
Please help to fix the problem in order to download the proper drivers for my HP pavillion...

Thanks for your reply...I was installing Firefox..installtion is finishing....I am installing from a fresh startup after many crashes in my HP DV6930US...I am very cautiuos in installing more than I need now that I am in a middle of full restoration process...I let you know how firefox does it... I remmenber in a nother HP Pavillion my MotherinLaw has, That I had to install drivers from FireFox since I had a similar problem with the web page...I just search and pick from the serch list the downloadables links in FireFox, it had problems too...with IE9 had similar problems....However, in this case with IE9 I can not find any downloadable link from HP using IE9...I will try FFx...

IE Erros on this webpage might cause it to work incorrectly

When hover the mouse on Save and Close button on sharepoint, can see javascript:SubmitForm(), click the button, below error return. It only happen on IE browser. To run as another domain account on same PC, it works without such error. And I can use my account
to save list item by IE on another computer. So the problem only happen on this computer and under my account.
Is this error related to Java JRE update installed on Windows 7 ?
Any solution?

Hi,
In the first instance try
Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab, uncheck "Display notification about every script error"
If that option is already unchecked, contact your SharePoint Administrator/ or Programmers as they have to correct the scripting error in the code.

Adobe Reader 9 is not opening same files in Browser "Error in this Page"
If I try to open this pdf file manually then its works.
The Error comes if I try to open Big Files or some else Files in the Browser.
This Error was not comming with Adobe 8.

To uninstall Adobe Reader, make sure (using Task Manager's Processes tab) that Adobe Reader is not running. Browser windows should also be closed.
If you still cannot proceed, try in Safe Mode, or use the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility.
P.S. Adobe AIR and Acrobat.com are not directly related to Adobe Reader, and can be uninstalled independently.

Support, please add a place for the Z30 and fix the "The specified template does not exist or is empty" error on this page

Please get the web site designers to fix this forum. There is no Z30 "place" and there is an error message that shows up every time.

Make sure the SharePoint Server is joined to Active Directory. Also validate that the Web Application Application Pool account is running as a Domain User (rather than say Network Service).

I'm running Window Server 2003, 64 bit version with IIS 6.0.
Before I installed CF10, I uninstalled CF8.

I suspect @Anit was assuming you were using IIS 7, in which case you could check the IIS app pool (advanced settings, for the app pool used by the site you are browsing) to see if it was set to “enable 32-bit applications: false”, assuming CF is configured as 64-bit, or if CF is configured 32-bit, then you would want that to be set to “enable 32 bit applications: true”.
It seems you’re using IIS 6, and there is no GUI means in the IIS 6 control panel to change the bitness of the app pool. There are various means discussing how to do that on the web, as well as a blog entry from Ben Forta, from back when people were deploying CF 7 (which was 32-bit only) 64-bit Windows and IIS:

But back to your error, @Len, if setting the bitness of the IIS app pool is not the solution, I’ll note that there can be many other reasons that you get that error. What are you seeing in the Windows Event log (using “event viewer”), or the IIS logs (especially httperr.log), or the CF logs (\coldfusion10\cfusion\logs)?

AC_RunActiveContent.js is a javascript that Dreamweaver uses to insert Flash data into a web page. If the owner of the site you are visiting for got to upload this script into his web dir, you will get this error.
Most of the time it is the website's fault.

My employer uses web dynpro and has for awhile now. When I try and look at my our e-payroll site it says my browser does not support web dynpro.... why now when it always worked before???

I had this problem as well, but was able to solve it using this procedure:
- Close firefox from the menu (don't use the 'x' as firefox may continue to run in memory for a while)
- in your start menu, enter the following into the "run" prompt: firefox.exe -P
- The firefox profile manager will open (see attached image)
- In my case I deleted the "default" profile because I didn't care about losing any settings. You may want to simply create a new profile instead in case you need to save your settings.
- To avoid being asked about which profile to be used you can highlight your new profile and then make sure the "Don't ask at startup" checkbox. When ready, press the "Start Firefox" button.
- Voila! That fixed it for me. Like I said, I just created a new "default" profile and everyone worked fine for me; use your own judgement here.

Getting an error message starting with "this page contains the following error" and continuing with various details in books recently downloaded from the Books app on an I Pad. Also now getting the same message on previously successfully downloaded books. Anyone know whats happening/how to fix? thanks

Try rebooting your iPad. To reboot your iPad, hold down the sleep/wake button and the home button simultaneously until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears. If, during this process, a slider appears on the screen to power it off, ignore it and keep holding the buttons down.
Rebooting your iPad can solve a lot of problems. Try it and report back.

Scheduled webi reports fail, why? If I restart BO services they work again

Hello.
I'm having a problem with my scheduled Webi reports and I don't know what is causing it. I have some reports scheduled to run at 8:00 am, and are supposed to be sent to a determined e-mail. Last week it worked well and the reports were sent to their destination successfuly, then this week the same reports didn't reach their destination. I verified in the History option and all of them showed a Failed status. I checked the detail and this is what it shows:
Unexpected exception caught. Reason: [java.lang.NullPointerException: i_statusInfo is null.]
If I try to reschedule these reports or any other report or a new report I get the same error. The only way I can make the schedule option work again for my webi reports is restarting BusinessObjects services.
But I guess this is not the right solution.
What can I do? How can I determine what is causing my scheduled webi reports fail?
What does this java.lang.NullPointerException: i_statusInfo is null message mean?
Is there a way I could track the service that is failing? which BO service is the service that manage the Schedule reports?
Any help is welcome.

There is an error on this page....

I keep getting this error in various pdf files created from Word. The files are created in a workflow that has several people making changes to the files. We change header and footer information, change logos, make the file print ready (rgb to cmyk, text to 100%K, etc). Files get emailed (if small enough) and uploaded to Sharepoint and Dropbox for distribution.
How do we troubleshoot this error message and repair whatever is wrong? Some people find that once the message appears on a page, it doesn't appear in the rest of the document but if the same file is opened to the following page, the message comes back on that page and so on all the way through the document. I have not had that happen myself but I have opened the same file and not found any of these messages.
What would cause this erratic behavior?
The printer rejected the file because of errors converting to postscript to print the document. Could these be different problems?

Both of these suggest file corruption. Common with emailing. Don't email PDFs, ever.

Cannot rotate pages. Error says "invalid page range"

I am running Acrobat X1 Pro version 11.0.10 on an iMac which is running Yosemite 10.10.1.
When I attempt to rotate a page, I am seeing an error message which says "Invalid page range", even when there is only one page in the document.

This is an indication the document is damaged. Try using the PDF Optimizer (choose File > Save as Other > Optimized PDF). Under the Cleanup section, deselect Optimize the PDF for Fast Web View. Than, save a copy and try rotating the page.

I lost my bookmark list where the dropdown doesnt work. Same goes for the webpage address tab where it just does not save. When I try to bookmark a new page after clicking "Bookmark this page", there was no response too. Can someone please help me???

It was still functioning last night and before I close the firefox window, the problem started. The problem persist until now.
1. Bookmark - tried to check the "help" list for lost bookmark but none of them seems to suit the problem i'm facing. The menu tab is there, but when i click on "Bookmarks", my previous bookmark list is not there. When I try to bookmark a new page, there is no window popping up (usually there is a small window pop-up to ask for the label of the website to be bookmarked).
2. The website address tab - usually we have a list of website that we usually visit so we just need to click on the arrow and click on the webpage that we want to visit. But now, I have to type the website address every single time. There is no drop down when i click on the arrow.
Can someone tell me what is wrong with it and please help me to solve this problem. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

I am trying to download latest update but just get referred to a page that says "Sorry, this page is not available".

I am a fully paid up member Adobe cloud and logged in. Other pages of the Adobe website are all accessible except the Lightroom download page. I have tried a few times over the last few days taking different routes to the download page including direct from the notification in the app but no success

Try signing out and then signing-in again from preferences.
