HP/Synaptics trackpad with integrated buttons in touch area- DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!

My new HP Envy has integrated buttons on the trackpad, and NO MATTER WHAT the trackpad is UNBEARABLE to use as it always detects movement when you have your finger resting on the left button. I DO NOT WANT THIS
The driver has settings that should fix this as you can draw the 'touch/tap' area that should only be detected with movement. BUT THIS DOES NOT WORK. It makes it better, but still gets activated constantly as when you have both hands using the touch pad (finger resting on left click button, and another finger tracking/touching) it has a clunky driver that thinks 'one finger is in the touch area' so allows movement in button area.
The driver needs fixing, whoever programmed it should be shot. I dont know anyone who would want the whol trackpad area including the buttons to detect movement.
PLEASE ISSUE A FIX HP. I am considering taking back my new laptop over this one annoyance. Laptop looks great, but Its reasons like this that people buy Apple products, as they test and reasearch their design so much better.

My I Touch is driving me crazy!

It shows as having less available capacity than is really available. It is an 8g and only has 165 songs on it, but I tunes is showing 90% of the capacity used up by "video" but I don't have any video on it, just songs. I have rented movies but they are gone...it won't let me move new rented movies from the laptop to the Touch because it says I am out of space...but I have plenty...please help. Thank you.

Have you tried:
- Resetting your iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Next, have you synced to reclaim the space from the deleted videos?
- Next I would restore from backup.
- Last would be to restore to factory defaults.

Changing screen resolution with a button

Hi,
I would like to ask if there is a way for an interface to change the screen resolution of the computer? I am wanting to build an interface that loads an interactive camera that works with processing however I am needing it to be at the resolution 800*900 as the webcam screen is too small on a full 1680x1050 resolution.
Is there a way for the flash application to change the screen resolution with a button click? Are there any alternatives to this?

It is to display a portfolio at my design school for assessment, they will accomodate any necessary things that i may need for assessment viewing so it is very important to me.
Do you know what programs will work with this? What program would i have to install?
I only need to do this for my assessment so it is almost a desperate search for something that would work.

Integrating PL / SQL with a Button on a Web Page ...

I would be very grateful if someone could help with the following query.
I have a database with a table called '*Tbl1*', which contains the following columns:-
1). tbl1_unique_id (number, primary key);
2). tbl1_title (VARCHAR2, 200);
3). tbl1_description (VARCHAR2, 2000);
4). tbl1_notes (VARCHAR2, 500);
5). tbl1_status (Open, Closed).
I have also created a page, which displays all of the records where the tbl1_status is equal to 'Open'.
What I would like to do is add a button to the page, which when pressed, replaces whatever information is in the tbl1_notes column with a default statement.
I have managed to produce PL / SQL code, which will query the table and update only those rows where tbl1_status is equal to 'Open' when using the 'SQL Commands' window, but I am having trouble integrating it with a button on the web page.
I think that I need a 'Page Process', but I do not know what type (Data Manipulation, On Demand, PL / SQL, etc) or how to set it up correctly.
Any help you can provide with regard to the above query will be appreciated.

Navigate to the page where you would like to add the process. Add the button if you've not already done so. Then click the "create page process" button under the Page Processing column.
Select PL/SQL and click Next >.
Enter a Name and click Next >.
Paste your code from the SQL Workshop and click Next >.
Enter success/failure messages if you like and click Next >.
Select the button you added and click Create Process.

Not at this time. It would also be great to have an adjustment for sensitivity too.

Try:

My ipad reacts slow on touchscreen. I have to really puss an icon to select it, and then tap it several times. Scrolling is impossible. And there is a voice with names all the actions I do / the buttons I touch. I have done a hard reset and itunesrecovery

You have VoiceOver turned on. To turn off:
iPhone: Configuring accessibility features (including VoiceOver and Zoom)
Triple click the Home button should allow you to go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn it off. Scroll with three fingers if necessary.

Are you talking about MacBooks and MacBook Pros with the two buttons at the bottom of the trackpad and not the buttonless multi-touch trackpad?

Start up error with unlock button doing nothing

So, when i close my laptop for the night, the next mourning i start it up again, but this time it just comes up with a blank screen, with 3 buttons: unlock, timer, and exposer. Timer and exposer well, just made the 3 seonds apper and exposer do its thing too of course, so when i try clicking unlock, it blinks, but then does nothing. I try turning it off and on again, but still the screen. Please post a solutin to this problem. If it helps, here is the screen i talking about: (its in the attachments).
EDIT: also i forogot to mentstion this isnt the first time this happened... about 7 mounths ago it happened, and for four monuths it was just on that screen, then finally it randomly unlocked. I don't know what I did to unlock it, but anyway it was stuck for 4 mounths and i would hate to wait four monuths to record another video again... so please, still, post a solutin.
Also, heres some info about my laptop:

Cracked Screen (Still works with crack but trackpad doesnt work and touchscreen wont work on one of the sides of the crack (the crack goes diagnal across my laptop touching the top and bottem also goes straight to the top fast, and part of the crack that touchscreen wont work on is the part that coveres about %75 percent of the screen))

1 My questions are about viewing and managing photos from a folder.

double clicking in iPhoto will open the photo.
The left and right arrow key will move between photos, as well as swiping on a trackpad or Apple mouse.

While selected or in the smaller icon view hitting the Delete key will delete the pic.
Command Z will undo the last action taken.
Periodically you have to empty the iPhoto trash. iPhoto drop down menu>empty trash
Same applies for viewing pics in a Folder NOT in iphoto, Use the up and down arrows does not work in Preview, but as you know in QuickLook (spacebar) the up and down arrows will navigate.

Xorg.conf file just for synaptics trackpad ?

I have a problem at the moment with my laptops synaptics trackpad.
every other distro the trackpad side scrolling works fine but with Arch it only works with an xorg.conf (it did on Xorg 1.5 anyway)
If I use hotplugging the side scrolling works but after 5 or 10 mins just stops working until I reboot the machine. I have even added the settings into the .fdi file for hotplugging and still it fails after a short while.
I have only been succesfull when using an xorg.conf but after upgrading to Xorg 1.6 using a xorg.conf has just been a headache (keyboard not working and even kernel panics)
so is it possible to just have my synaptics settings in a xorg.conf and let hotplugging sort the rest ?

You need to set it up in a hal configuration file just like you would do with your keyboard.

XPERIA with integrated DAB+ radio

When will there be XPERIAs with integrated DAB+ radio available in Europe? For iOS there are at least accessories available. I would prefer to have built in DAB+. SONY has released DAB+ tuners in compact Hifi sets and in portable radios. Given that DAB+ is primarily targeted at mobile reception it seems weird that DAB+ is not available cell phones. It would also be a great way to differentiate the product given that other vendors do not have solutions at this point. For the UK it seems an imperative to have at least DAB included, for Germany DAB+ tuners would certainly raise awareness of teh XPERIA brand among younger people...
So when will there be XPERIAs with DAB+ (would like to have it with LTE in one set)?
