HP t5325 thin client audio issues problem

Dears and my Friends.
I have one problems. Our company was bought  2 type for Thin client 5325 , Thin client 5745 device. This solution by Vmware view 4.6 complete. But Audio streaming error just 5325. Or 5745 normal running audio and other service.
I have been configuration checking done. How to this problem repairing?
Please help me!!!

By looking at the date of the post, I would assume that you have fixed this, but for the benefit of any future readers this issue is caused by a bad firmware.  The firmware that it shipped with in February, and perhaps what you purchased in June, had bad audio driver issues.  The fix is simply installing the new HP T5325 BIOS and firmware.

  • T5325 Thin Clients losing remote desktop connection

My company just bought about 50 of these thin clients and they are setup to run an automatic remote desktop connection. I have the connection setup to auto start when the thin client is powered on and it just brings the user to a windows login screen. After they have logged in and leave their thin client to go on break sometimes it just brings them to a blank screen with an HP logo and the thin client has to be restarted to get back into the remote desktop, or I have to go into admin and restart the RDP connection. Any idea why this is happening? Is there a setting somewhere I need to change?
    Any help would be great!

We are having this same issue and it is maddening.  I have contacted HP on several occasions and I don't know if it is the language barrier or simple ignorance, but so far the issue is ongoing.  I have looked high and low on the net and no one seems to be able to tell me why this is happening despite a number of plausible theories.  We have a couple hundred terminals throughout the company which are spread across three servers none of which are close to congested yet..  However, the 10 or so t5325's we have are used specifically for digital signage.  They run automated sessions that launch animated JAVA windows.  They run great for the most part, but seemingly at random they will freeze in their tracks.  The sessions drop from our terminal server and cannot be restarted remotely.  After the units are power cycled they come back up directly and begin their sessions again.  You can shadow these units (VNC) and the moment the display come on the unit closes the RDP session and reopens the same and start running again, odd behavior.  I have tried changing session logout timers, disabling / enabling TCP settings, creating client-side refresh scripts, restarting the sessions at regular intervals via admin script, flashing BIOS and ThinPro OS to the current level, voodoo rituals, and pagan sacrifice.  Yet, they still behave in exactly the same manner with no actions on my part having any apparent affect..  Currently, I am of the mind to purchase small all-in-one pc's to do the job.  If anyone knows of any way to fix this PLEASE respond to this post.

  • Thin Client reporting issues since SCCM 2012 R2 CU3 upgrade.

Please forgive me, I'm a SCCM newbie. I'm having an issue with my Thin Clients reporting back to SCCM since I upgraded to 2012 R2 CU3.
The only pertinent thing I find in any log is "RegTask: Failed to get registration state. Error: 0x8009000b" "GetRegistrationState failed (0x8009000b)" in the ClientIDManagerStartup.log
If anybody has any tips, I would be more than appreciative.

I have not run into this before, but have you validated that your management point is healthy?

  • EAS Thin Client Problem

We are testing out the EAS thin client for V 11.1.1.4
The problem we are having is this, people at a remote site (other than where the server is) can do everything in the outline except create new members. They can copy paste members within the hierarchy without any issues but when they go in right click->add siblin/child and enter the name and hit enter EAS hangs. Does anyone have any clue how I can begin to troubleshoot this?
I would add that I am at the site where the server is and I can do the above witout a problem.

    Hi,
well - I seriously doubt it is a question of OS.
There are product matrixes to consider.
And even for 11.1.2.x there is no Java 7 agreement.
A colleague is faced with the same problem (Win7 64Bit box, EPM 11.1.2.1).
Only Java 7 installed on his box and he has very strange effects in EAS.
If ju want to be safe, stay on (or go back to) Java 6 until there is no other info from Oracle.
    Regards
    Andre

  • Issue with non-english application in thin client - virtual directory issue

    Hi,
I have just completed Siebel 8 installation on solaris machine along with SunOne Web server 6.1.
I have installed both ENU and ARA language packs for Siebe Enterprise, Sweapps.
The issue is after installation and repository installation for both ENU and ARA, I am able to open only ENU applications in thin client.
When I try to open the ARa applications the browser gives "Page not found" error.
I have verified first, whether the Siebel components running or not. Confirmed that for example for Callcenter SCCObjMgr_ara component is active and online.
But what I observed is, in SUNOne web server instance's config folder, there is a file obj.conf.
In this file there are entries for only enu applications like,
    NameTrans fn="pfx2dir" from="/callcenter_enu" dir="/siebelapp/sweapp/public/enu"
There are no links for ARA applications.
I think this could be the reason for issue.
But while installing and configuring sweapps, I have selected the logical profile location as "/siebelapp/gtwysrvr/admin/Webserver".
So this should create such links in obj.conf for ARA as it created for ENU apps. But it didn't happend.
Please advise, how to get the ARA applications.
    Thanks
    Vamshi

I see some message about a proxy. Have you checked that you can use the proxy from you network?
If not you should turn the proxy off.

  • T410 thin client RDP Client Error Windows XP SP3 issue

I've switched out the VMs they were connecting to completely and we're still running into this issue. The next step is switching out the thin clients themselves. Bump if anyone's run into this issue before.

I'm having an issue with 2 of my HP Smart Zero t410 thin clients. They each RDP into an XP SP3 virtual machine hosted on a virtual server running VWWare ESXi 5.0.0. Randomly in the morning they'll both disconnect from their virtual machines. Sometimes at the same time, sometimes not. I'm monitoring both the thin clients and the virtual machines with software that pings everything 30 seconds, nothing ever drops a ping. I've tested the wire, the wire is good. I've made sure the thin clients are up to date with the latest firmware. The last thing I've tried is replacing the switch both of these machines are connection. One thin client comes up with an error message "RDP Client Error: Reboot Necessary" then below "The firmware has experienced a critical error. Please reboot this client." After I close the error I can RDP back in. The other thin client also gives an "RDP Client Error" and down below mentions MANTICORE but I did not write down the entire error message. I have 30 other t410's deployed at various locations, all connected via RDP to a Windows Server 2008 R2 terminal with no issue for over a year. These last two have maybe in for three weeks and have continuously thrown this error randomly. Any help is appreciated.

  • Issue / problem adding audio in Presenter 7 (PowerPoint 2010)

Since I got a new PC (Windows 7), I'm having an issue / problem adding audio in Presenter 7 (PowerPoint 2010).
It doesn’t happen every time, but randomly with many presentations...
In PowerPoint, right after I import audio (through Presenter) and click “ok”, I get the following errors:
Then, I can't get into the "import/sync/edit" mode, from the Presenter tab...
Already tried reinstalling Presenter, resaving new presentations, deleting the .ppcx/audio folders, importing the audio locally (vs from my network drive), etc.
Then sometimes, randomly, it will let me get back in and edit the audio, after numerous attempts…?!? I can't figure out what the pattern is, which is causing this new problem (never had this problem before, w/ my old PC - Win XP / PowerPoint 2003 / Presenter 6 & 7)
Anybody have an idea what the issue could be?
    Thanks,
    Mike P.

    Hello,
I  tried to reproduce this issue but I am not getting any error message. Please provide us following information; this might help to reproduce this issue:-
    1) You are seeing this issue in  PPT or PPTX
    2) You seeing this issue in newly created presentations or its just old presentation which is not working properly.
    3) OS and PowerPoint version
    4) If this issue is consistent on any particular presentation then please share it.
    5) Can we have exact reproducible steps

  • J2SE JRE on a thin client problems!!!!!!!!!!

    HELP!
I would like some help regarding a situation where a webstartable application totalling approx 400k as a prototype app is being sent to a thin client. This thin client is a Wyse computer with a 96mb flash card for its hard disk space. The Java app uses the Swing api and JBoss client jars. The application works smoothly on WinNT or Win2000, 256mb, 700Mhz PC installed with J2SE but the problem is that the target client has a Windows NT Embedded OS which only gives around 7.5mb free hard disk space on its flash card. This is a problem as the client OS needs Java 2 JRE which is a whopping 20.8mb. WebStart when installed totals to approx 1.9mb on a PC. So, the complete deployment for the application would reach approximately 24mb going way past the 7.5mb max limit. The client does have IE+MSJava but uninstalling this JVM is not an option as apparently, it is being used for some other app. I am aware of the option of upgrading the machine but that won't go down too well as it will involve upgrading hundreds of clients. Also, this demo needs to show off Swing to the max so that such an upgrade decision can be made. Getting the application+JRE+WebStart deployed within the limit means that there will be a chance for Java to grow on both the client and server side in Carphone Warehouse, one of the top mobile phone retail companies in the UK. However, if this is not achieved then the alternative is that IE will be used to provide an HTML-based limiting, slow user interface for our users in our stores.
A related question I have is whether J2Micro Edition is an avenue that may be useful to explore. I have looked at it a little and as a guess I'd say that the configurations I have found are for too simple for the device targetted by us as it is near enough to a PC's spec except that it has limited chip power, hard disk and memory space.
Please could someone help us with this as it would really promote Java in our company.
    regards,
    Amar Syed

Well, here are a few suggestions, although I'm not sure how feasible they are at this point...
    1) Is it essential that you use WebStart and have the code on the client? That's not really a "Thin client" solution... ;-) Can you refactor your app as a JApplet, and just use the java plugin to run it (~5MB)? This would still enable you to use swing. (You could even just have a "launching" applet in a browser that launches your main GUI JFrame in front of the browser.)
    2) I've never used this product, but it's worth a mention - WebCream, by CreamTect (http://www.creamtec.com/webcream/) - it runs your swing app on the server, and sends a DHTML representation of it to the client's browser. Looks pretty convincing from their examples...
    3) J2ME is probably not an option, since it doesn't support Swing - it has its own limited API for displaying stuff on mobile devices' small screens.
    4) Failing that, there's still server-side java - the JSP/Servlet option, creating your own customized HTML (or super-interactive DHTML) pages and sending them to a browser on the client machine.
Hope some of this helped a little! Let us know how you get on.

  • Audio for thin client

    Hi,
I'm creating a project in Captivate 6 and will need to add audio to each slide.  The project will be viewed within our organisation where a percentage of staff use 'thin client' machines which are basically dumb terminals.  On these machines audio and video struggle to work as they dont stream properly.
Although I don't have any video, does anyone have any tips on the best way to record audio but in a way that gives it the best possible chance of streaming properly.  Should i record direct in captivate or using somehthing like audacity?  Are there options for optimising audio?
    Any advice gratefully received.
    K

Thin clients are usually in place because bandwidth is very low.  Trying to stream video and audio in such an environment is not usually going to be successful.  In some thin client environments (e.g. CITRIX) that I have seen they even disable audio completely to conserve bandwidth.
You may be asking for too much trying to deliver video this way.

  • Thin Client Easy Shell - Display Control - Security Issue

We're expirementing with the Easy Shell software.  It appears that when you enable the 'Display' option for settings (to allow users to alter resolution settings), the user can use the Address Bar to navigate to other Control Panel items or directly to a file system location (and then execute other programs).  This doesn't occur for other Control Panel applets that don't have an Explorer Address Bar (such as sound). Obviously one can still try to restrict the hell out of Windows Explorer to provide a defense to this, but a selling point of Easy Shell is sandboxing the user without needing to do a million different other configurations. Has anyone come accross this and come up with a method to secure the Address Bar?

    1. Log on to the Thin Client as an Administrator 2. Make sure you disable the EWF which is available in the System tray towards right bottom corner 3. Go to the contol panel of the Thin Client and look for Region and Language 4. Please set the language to French under "Region and Language" 5. Make sure you do all the changes [For Example: Giving access to the User for specific applications...] 6. Please re-install the HP Easy Shell Software and choose the language as French if you get a language prompt 7. Now please launch the HP Easy Shell Software in the Administrator Login itself and turn on the Region & Language 8. Restart the Thin Client and login as a User to check if this is what you are looking for If not please let me know if there is anything specific you are looking for, so I can further research with this regard  Hope this helps, for any further queries reply to the post and feel free to join us again  **Click the White Thumbs Up Button on the right to say Thanks**Make it easier for other people to find solutions by marking a Reply 'Accept as Solution' if it solves your problem. Thank You,K N R KSenior Thin Client Technician - North America Support Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP
